Amazing choices of lox, avocado, or seared toast. All are amazing! Staff is friendly and good espresso drinks. Nice outside eating location.

Put this place in my to go list long time ago. Finally got to try it out today, caught them right before closing. Ordered their matcha drink and a pear toast. A little expensive but totally worth it. Very nice customer service and clean environment. Have outside dining with a lots of plants around. For my drink it was good but I probably ask they to add some sweet for me next time. The most important is the toast! I didn’t know there will be cinnamon on the toast and I never ever like cinnamon but it goes well with this toast. However it’s good to tried once,, I still can’t go with the cinnamon smell. Toast is refreshing and will definitely order again( with out the cinnamon powder:))) Anyway, definitely will comeback again and highly recommended!

Great, clean spot with rotating gourmet beans. Good cappuccinos, and an interesting and refreshing espresso tonic that is worth a try on a hot Sacramento day.There are four or so covered tables for outdoor seating.

Amazing small, single location coffee shop. I love the concept of a coffee shop showcasing different roasters from around the US in a small form shop. The coffee drinks are balanced and the flavored drinks pair with the espresso rather than be overpowered or lost like some coffee shops. Scorpio Coffee new spot on the block ! Nice Space, Clean and Cool Atmosphere with Great Coffee, Teas and Perfect Bites to eat. During this time of COVID19 Mask is required to Enter (stay safe environment) Couple tables out front and street parking.So far I tried their Latte with Oak Milk, Iced Matcha Latte, Iced Americano and I enjoyed the sips. Will return again soon and updateI do recommend, a must stop if you are in the area.

We love this high end coffee shop very much, it is not only unique in design, but also clean and tidy, The staff is professional and friendly. Their coffee, tea, and light meals are exquisite. Its suitable for sharing by myself and/or sharing with friends. Although we have to wait almost every visit, but a good cup of coffee is indeed worth the wait

The oat Latte I got tasted really good and there was no harsh bitterness of over roasted coffee. Simple and nice.

Had an americano here before a three hour drive into the mountains. it was one of the best cups of coffee Ive had recently and definitely set the tone for a pleasant drive. :)

Just excellent. Rivals Temple for the best cappuccino in town, excellent matcha and houjicha, great food, awesome service. Dont miss it.

This is my offices favorite coffee joint. Their drip coffee is what I ordered and really liked it, and Im pretty picky because I drink a lot of black coffee. The owner Sam is super nice. Right now they are offering seating indoor (limited) and out. You can also take your coffee to go. I really like the style of their interior design. It feels minimalist and Japanese-inspired.

What a breathe of fresh air this coffee shop has brought to Sacramento!! You can tell that so much love, meticulous planning and effort has gone into making Scorpio coffee what it is. They offer amazing coffee, single origin and retail beans from carefully selected roasters across the country. They offer amazing quality tea and housemade food offerings as well. Sam (the owner) has been in the coffee industry for many years as a barista, trainer and more. The opening of Scorpio definitely provides inspiration and encouragement for anyone in the local coffee community wishing to open up their own shop one day. Clean and friendly staff however ...I got a peppermint hot chocolate and my daughter got a peppermint mocha and we were not impressed ☹️ I could barely taste the chocolate or the peppermint the mocha also tasted very bland. The cost was on the high end for a very small cup. We were celebrating my daughters 1/2 birthday with a 1/2 of a cup of coffee.

Super cute new spot in Sac! We got a latte and and Americano and there coffee was super earthy and not acidic like most other local shops. I’m a black coffee drinker so I think this might be my new favorite.We also got the avocado toast and the tuna toast. Wouldn’t normally order Tuna toast for breakfast but I am SOOO happy my partner ordered it and I got to try. It was INCREDIBLE. A must try when you’re there! Avocado toast was incredible too! Already ready to go back!

The ethiopian coffee was delicious—and it was drip! Maybe next time Ill see if they offer pour over. Service was great, fast, friendly. The only downside was having to wait outside a few minutes while the inside cleared of patrons (safety first!), but overall it was a good experience.

Full disclosure, Ive worked in coffee for years so Im a nerd about it. I ordered a shot of espresso and a pear toast. While I waited for my order I browsed their very cute merch and enjoyed the ⚓sea shanties⛵ on the radio. The Ethiopian single origin was dreamy - tasted like sweet orange blossom with a soft lemon zest finish. The overall vibe of this shop is just like a Scorpio - seems intimidating at first, but is actually really chill and funny and full of sensual wonders once you get to know them. Because of who I am as a person I went back in to try the Ecuadorian espresso, which was also yummy. Full mouthfeel, notes of dates and smooth milk chocolate. Im actually glad I live on the other end of town because otherwise Id probably spend too much here.

Local Sam Balean, barista champion and industry leader, recently opened a new cafe in Sacramento featuring the top fourth-wave roasters in the area, a sophisticated tea list, including some very rare Matcha selections, and a small kitchen outputting some healthy fare to pair with your drinks.With beautiful architecture and state of the art espresso equipment from La Marzocco, Scorpio will quickly ascend to the top of the Must see lists in Sacramento and top cafes in the World. I had to wait twenty minutes yesterday and was not disappointed with the service, atmosphere, or quality after driving an hour and a half.

I had really only gone in to get any kind of beverage to get a pill stuck in my throat down. But the man who took my order for a Chai Latte was very friendly and when I saw these mini loves of banana bread with Macha glaze on top, I jokingly said I’d like all 5 of them, then after he described the mini loaf in scrumptious detail, I told him I’d like one but unfortunately then I wouldn’t have any cash left to tip him which I wanted to do for the great service, and he actually just generously gave me one of the mini loaves. Both the Chai latte and mini banana bread loaf out DE!
