I had so many difficulties getting there on public transportation. (Due to my own fault) But they are amazing. Extremely friendly staff and doctors!!!! They helped me get in and out in a timely manner so I could catch my bus home and not wait a nother hr. The eye exams was very quick and the doctor explained so much. I appreciate optometrist offices like this. I came in on a free voucher and they made sure I was treated equally as everyone else. I love the frames I picked and were so patient with me!!!! I cant wait to pick up my glasses. Thanks again Natomas optometry!!!!!

Had to go back there three times get my glasses right Over 3 4 months. Still not right and ended up wasting almost $300 with my insurance. now they are asking 130 more just to get the transition right. I think im done with this place.

Im a repeat patient of Dr Lews. Every time I visit for an exam, she is even more attentive. Her prescriptions have been accurate.On the optical boutique side Stella has been exceptionally good. If youre completely ignorant about prescription eye-wear and cant be bothered to research the details, she will still make sure you get the right frames and coatings for your needs rather than the insurance companies wallet. Now if youre super-knowledgeable and picky, she will happily go the extra mile to get the perfect frames, and when it came to my lens needs, she didnt hesitate to dive deep to order the exact precise lenses I needed.This last visit I needed three sets of glasses: general everyday glasses, office computer specific, and driving/sunglasses. They are able to get some pretty specific stuff that normally youd have to go to multiple shops to get.My only minor gripe is they really dgaf about crown glass lenses. Im hoping that during my next visit theyll help me get some nice Zeiss progressive real glass lenses. Its super nitpicky, so Im not knocking a star off, due to everything being 5+ star at this place.

Been seeing Dr. Nakamura for almost 15 years, he is the best. Have done it all from glasses to contacts to a successful Lasik procedure (via his excellent referral).Only stop back once/year now for annual exam. Eyes doing great. Cant recommend Natomas Optometry highly enough!

Got there 10 minutes before my appointment to fill out all my paperwork, ended up waiting 45 minutes until I saw the doctor for the exam. Finally left another 25 minutes later. Never had an eye exam take that long and will definitely not be coming back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Myra Lew for several years now and Ive always thought she was amazing. Weve been going to Natomas Optometry for more than 10 years now and have had a great experience with Drs. Nakamura, Lew and Ly. The Optician staff is consistently some of the best weve worked with. Very knowledgeable about covered benefits and always helpful with selecting what looks and feels best for each of us - with an amazing frame board! So many options for VSP Members to maximize our benefits. And most recently they have done a great job with the new COVID protocols, we felt very safe with our exam appointments and going back to pick up our glasses. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Lew and Stella have great customer service as does the front desk. I love the large selection of designer glasses. I get great service on selecting, reading, computer and sunglasses. I am a long time customer and enjoy my experience at Natomas Optometry.

I was in Sacramento for a vacation and realized I had forgotten my contact lenses at home in North Carolina. I was headed to Tahoe for adventures and would definitely need them. I was warmly greeted by a smiling Alex, the receptionist, who went over and above to help me out in a desperate situation. She was able to get me into a pair of samples after some work on their part. Love Natomas Optometry. Doctors are great, the staff is really nice, and they are extremely helpful with picking out the right frames. I have a small face so finding frames is really hard but they were able to pick frames out I would have never thought to chose and LOVE them. Very comfortable and stylish. Great selection.

Love this place! Its definitely worth the 45in drive in traffic! The selection of glasses is awesome! I love the fact that they allow you to browse around and choose out pairs or offer their help. There is no pressure to get a pair of glasses that you dont care for and the staff is great in really helping you to get the most out of your benefits, suggesting different options. Clean and welcoming facility and excellent service!

The office is very nice. Staff as well. The optometrist and I had a discussion about my recent diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, where he patiently explained, from an eye health perspective, what to watch out for and how often a checkup is recommended. A large selection of frames, and the staff was patient with selection and evaluation, with no pressure or corralling me to the more expensive frames. I would say best optometrist experience Ive ever had.

When you see 30+ reviews with full 5 stars, you know thats the place you want to go, even if its an extra few miles. I bought two pairs of eyeglasses yesterday, and Stella the sales manager was doing a wonderful job. She treated me very patiently and with respect, ready to listen to your concerns. After i ordered a pair of glasses, i wanted to make a change to it by doing one more eye exam(my previous 2 eye exam was at another clinic and i wasnt satisfied with it). She was readily able to accommodate me. No need to think twice about going here.

So disappointed with this establishment. Although I have had unpleasant experiences with some of the staff before I (my family) kept coming back for the eye doctors because we like and trust them. I will not get prescription glasses and or contact lenses, which are way overpriced, from here. I will stop referring to friends and acquaintances to avoid the embarrassment one of the staff has caused me regarding a recent transaction with my close friends son. They would know what I am talking about. I need not say anymore. The 3 stars are for the good doctors.

This place has very rude people who work here. Their focus is on making money. I ordered a pair of glasses and had to wait over 2 weeks. I dont know what took so long, because I didnt have no special prescription. Dont go here if you want quality of service instead of quantity ( their focus). Poor customer service!!!!

This place has a great collection and is covered through our insurance hence we ended up staying. It took about 40 minutes of us roaming around the store waiting to be helped by one of the THREE ladies that were sitting behind their desk without any customers in store. No one so much as offered a hello to us the entire time we were there. I finally had to beg for service and even then I was given the most dry treatmen and the woman continued to speak to us from the front desk and had wait another 15 minutes before someone finally came to help.Overall, for a store of this magnitude and such great ratings I really expected at least a friendly hello upon walking in and maybe a quick check in while we were shopping for the hour without any assistance.

I was devastated when I fell onto my glasses .... They were open and I fell right on top of them .... It was gut wrenching and I thought forsure I was going to have a huge out of pocket cost becausei purchased these two months ago. Yoyo is a life saver! Honestly not sure how he was able to repair then but they are literally perfect and he did it in 20mins. Best place to get your glasses repaired and to purchase quality frames. My whole family has been visiting Natomas Optometry since they were in their old building. This is a wonderful place to go for your glasses. Yes, they have designer glasses that are quite expensive but they are more than willing to give you your prescription to go elsewhere for frames if you choose to do so. I have found reasonable frames (no out of pocket expense for them) by Coach, and Guess, Ralph Lauren, and so on. They are always available for adjustments, to fix your nose pieces, and to help you fix any damage you might get to your glasses. The ladies in the front office change quite frequently but please dont let that discourage you from trying out this awesome eye doctor.

The place itself is very nice and spacious inside. Staff was very friendly and they thoroughly explained the options available to me. However, I had a bad experience there which left a bad first impression. I brought my own frames and wanted to get prescription lenses for them. The person who was helping me dropped my frames on the floor on the way to the register and did not even apologize. Thankfully I dont think they were damaged and I realize accidents do happen but the least they could do is acknowledge it and handle customers glasses with more care.

When I showed up for my 10 year olds appointment I was told they didnt have an appointment for me and that I could either wait an hour and a half or come back another day. When I explained that that would be difficult for me, they worked to get my daughter in and we were done in under a half hour (with getting new glasses). Everyone was willing to correct their mistake and help me to ensure my daughter got what she needed. I was very happy with the service we received. The office was beautiful and nice and Dr Lew treated my daughter great. Thank you everyone!!!
