Will never go again. Stopped at entrance by a 2 man security team and told I would not be allowed to enter unless I wore the mask that they supplied. I was already wearing a buff style that completely covered my entire face from nose to neck. When I questioned why I was being singled out as more than 2/3 of the store had other masks on, some of the same material, I was told that corporate policy prohibited buffs. I called Apple Corporate and was told that there is no such policy.
Had my mask just above my nostrils when an employee approached me in a very rude manner and told me to pull my mask all the way up or he’d kick me out the store. This is very poor behavior, not that the store manager will care but should definitely coach all employees because not everyone will tolerate this behavior.
Worst shopping experience ever. Lots of sales people just hanging around, playing with new devices, making selfies in front of visitors, while you, together with others, are waiting half and hour to get into the shop and another 20 minutes to draw attention and get your preselected product. Do not go there. Shop online, and another brand if possible.

Its an apple store. There were about six security guards managing the flow of people into the store. There is a decent wait to get in for either shopping or repairs, even if you have an appointment.Once inside there is ample room for distancing. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous.
I was asked for my ID. Good thing. My problem was solved. The staff was cool. A lot of people though. Id made an appointment the day before. And although I arrived early... I couldnt check in until 5 minutes before my appointment time. 🤔 So basically I had a wait. But other than that... all was good.

Apple Arden fair always does a great job taking care of customers. I wanted to grab a quick watch band and during covid it’s obviously harder to just drop in given social distancing and all. Apple just has a great process in general to help customers. Safe and easy.

Went in to the store to trade-in and buy a new iPad. The process was painful. The sales associate indicated that the student discount did not apply to high schoolers. We showed her the link from the high school indicating the discount, but were told we had to purchase online and pick up in store. Fine. However, we had to leave and come back two hours later when the order was ready. The final bit of tedium was that my underage son was the designated pick up person, but this is not allowed. The sales person made me call into the online Apple call center to have them adjust the order to my name. That process took another 30 minutes of my time. Net-net, I was spending >$700 and it took ~3 hours to complete the transaction. Ugh.

I have a cracked iPhone 11 Pro Max screen and Apple said I need a new phone. Without even testing anything. They tried to sell me a new phone and I declined. My phone still works and can receive calls if I have my Bluetooth on the screen is just black and the screen isn’t that cracked. Someone in line said he’s been to a repair place and gave me their card said it should be just the screen. I already reached out to them and they said exactly that. It sounds like it’s just the screen that needs replaced.
I was extremely disappointed in the customer service i received today from an employee. His name was Dustin or Justin, 6 ft tall Caucasian extremely rude to me and my 13 year old daughter. She waited in line while i used the restroom. I am 9 months pregnant less than a week away from my due date. He told her shed have to make a reservation for 630 (it was 515). We had called 20 minutes prior to going to the store to make sure the product we wanted was in stock. The associate on the phone said we could just walk in. He did not mention that we would have to make a reservation. Anyways Dustin was rude to my daughter he spoke down to her. When i tried to speak to him he said my daughter walked away and we would have to wait back in line. There were at least 5 people in line and i am ready to pop pregnant! I could not believe he expected us to wait in line again! Especially if all he was going to do was pencil us in for a reservation time slot! Incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Then he proceeded to tell us to basically leave him alone so he could help his customers! As if we werent paying customers. Ill definitely make the trip to roseville just to never have to see him again

This aint a issue with the employees there cause they always given me good customer service but the security you have working there you need to have a talk with them. Just because I might be dressed a certain way doesnt mean Im coming in there to steal something so you dont need to stare me down the whole time and keep looking back like Im gonna rob the place. Im there to spend my money just like everyone else. Idc what experience you had with other people at the store but thats not me so dont judge me like that. I would have given 5 stars but your security is straight trash
You make an appointment and they tell you that the they are late 20 minutes when in fact youre waiting 30 to 40 minutes past your appointment time.The staff could care less. My daughter wanted this phone but you couldnt get me to use an Apple if it was FREE......horrible customer service!
It’s great to make an appointment to change your battery only for them to not have the right parts and waste 30 minutes of your time. At least they referred me to the Roseville so I can waste my entire day getting a new battery.

I have been round and round with Apple for slightly over a week. There has been only two people that have been helpful with my iPhone 12Pro not working. This shout out goes to Shawn at Apple support. Him and Jimmy a technician at the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento, CA are the only two people that have good customer service. Shawn from Apple support has been working with me for almost a week trying to trouble shoot my texting and WiFi issues. Jimmy at the Arden Fair mall was very sweet when I broke down in tears because the Store Manager, Ian Tarter, refused to help me. I have spent over 40 hours this last week trying to fix my iPhone problems. My carrier, Sprint, In cooperation with Apple support confirmed it was the phone. My entire family has iPhones and I’m the only one with this problem. The Apple store immediately gave me a new iPhone 12 pro. Unfortunately, this phone did not work. I spent days after that with my WiFi carrier, Sprint and Apple support again trying to remedy the situation. Shawn at Apple support ended up, as a last ditch effort, resetting everything and restoring the iPhone, as a new phone, through a force re-start through iTunes... only to fail in fixing the issue. He assured me that the new phone I was given had a hardware issue and needed to be replaced. He was so kind as to make an appointment for me to warranty out my phone the next day. I went into the Apple Store at the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento California this morning. The technician was trying to trouble shoot my issue. He said that it was my carrier. That my carrier needed to re-provision my phone. I explained to him that they had already done that three times with this new phone. I was being brushed off. I came in to have it warrantied out and replaced. I asked to speak to a manager. Ian Tarter was the store manager that came over to explain to me as to why he was choosing to not help me. Ian Tarter said he could give me a new phone and he had the authority to do so, but refused because he said it was my carrier. I explained to him that I’ve already confirmed through Apple support and my carrier that it was the phone. He said he was ending the conversation and asked me to leave. Shawn, from Apple support, has been so very helpful. I would give five stars for all of his follow through this past week and help. I am in fact only giving one star as my final review because of the Store Manager Ian Tarter. Ian has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I am a Director and if I had an employee with his lack of customer service caliber, I’d fire him.

Customer Service here is terrible. I had an appt at 320pm and arrived at 326pm to have an AirPod repaired. I was not allowed to enter nor wait in the non-reservation line to have the AirPod assessed. Meanwhile, they’re allowing people without appointment to enter the store and speak with someone at the Genius Bar. I’m not sure how the store operates but this is unacceptable. Granted I was late but I should’ve been allowed to wait in line to speak with someone like the other patrons. My issue is still not fixed. I spoke with a manager who lacked basic comprehension — I need the replacement TODAY. Mailing in the AirPod for assessment, clearly isn’t the option I’m looking for. Apple needs more competent employees.
The mall looks very busy and a lot of new shops have closed and new ones opening. It is still a nice mall to visit and shop. Not overly crowded with the pandemic in full effect. People are friendly and you have a decent food court too eat as well as a place for kids to roam around.
Getting worst been there just to buy an iPhone non of them new how to checkout my purchase, they all need to be trained even the supervisor for this store. For a company like apple it’s unacceptable it’s crazy.

Visited to buy a new phone and the executives on the store explained about the features, price and plans very well. Would strongly recommend. Staff is friendly and courteous. I did not have a mask but the guy in the store got me one mask to use.

I had to schedule an appointment in the afternoon I had just gone off work didn’t have time to change I came in a little too early so I came back 10 minutes later before my appointment time I waited near the store and security came up to me telling me if I had an appointment I said yes, the way he looked at me made really uncomfortable, I got in line same thing a second security did the same thing I didn’t like his vibe, the way he talked me was to stern..I responded back too him.A chubby Asian inside the store checked me in he was just judging me how I was dressed, I didn’t like his attitude.. I was frustrated already.This was the worst experience I don’t want to come back to this place again!

I would give a 0 stars if I can. Terrible servicing. I called previous day for appointment I am told to just walk in. I stood in line at 10 am walk in. They tell me wait is 1 hour. When I return after one hour they tell me oh ur appointment is scheduled after 3 more hours.they have no regard for peoples time or exposure. Making people wait for hours and hours without being upfront about the wait time. Not buying anymore apple products. Done with them.

Customer service? A lost concept at Apple Arden Fair Mall. Extremely rude! They LITERALLY call the SEAMS in the floor their service wait lines.. now how one determines which seam is a wait line for pickup, repair or ? Nobody knows I guess this is what Apple calls seamless integration... The arrogance that is Apple defiantly has a trickle down effect from corporate down to their stores.
Lousy customer service once you bought the item, it’s not their problem they don’t care . you can figure out how to get it fixed yourself. all They wanna is to make the sale, bad customer support. A 12 “ iPad Pro, it’s loaded, 3rd one in just over a year, first two in less than month after buying, should I have gotten smart then.
Drew was absolutely amazing, today was a very busy day for mac laptops and he juggled four of us at a time because we were all waiting quite some time. He did really wonderfully in making sure each of our needs were met and continued to make sure to grab available technicians when they were able. Ive worked retail and it is NOT easy to juggle the different personalities that get thrown at ya, but Drew was awesome! Thank you again for making this experience worth the wait! (Also to the other team members who recognized I had been sitting around a long time and making sure I was not forgotten).
The worst store experience during pandemic!!! VERY, very, very, very rude, unprofessional, jumping with yelling about social distancing coming almost a foot to my face! And, by the way, I was following all the policies. Really bad experience! All people in line were following the general rules that we have - the masks, distance, etc, but the store employees went way-way too far! In my instance, I was standing far (more than 10-15 away from any person in my vision) from few people waiting for the service in front of the store slowly walking back and forth, but I didnt notice that I was in the far corner of a perimeter for the appointments only. Again, No people were near me and surely, no one was waiting in line for appointments. So, one store employee jumped to me (very close within 2 feets) and started pushing me away with harsh words. He was rude! It was out of the blue! Not only this, he called the malls security to get me out of the mall! Im still shocked! I was polite, i was following all covid guadence, and havent done any bad stuff. Im not going to stop by this store for a long long time for sure.
This is my go-to Apple Store. It’s typically pretty busy but the employees were kind and attentive.I was approached by multiple employees asking if I need help—which is a good thing! I had multiple opportunities to work with their team in a busy store. They were able to help me find an iPad and set it up in no less than 20 min.

This store gives me anxiety. We came just to see if they had a charger and couldn’t figure out where the line was. It’s very chaotic and unorganized. When we asked for help the lady’s response was “what’s the confusion? You wait here” as she walked over to another customer. Terrible customer service
No wonder a Apple Store has 3.5 rate after I picked up my phone. And I feel better after seeing the ratings.( i was not the only one.) I walked into the store and asked someone if he can help me, I was told to talk with someone who can help me, which is fine. Then I found that guy and patiently waited for he finishing talking with someone else. After a while he asked me what question I have, then asked me if I paid for it.( can I pick up something without paying?) Then told me he will help me after helping that customer. After helping that customer, he walked away and then came back to help other customers. I did not interrupt them, just looking at him and hoping he will notice what he said. after a while he said if someone is helping me? I said no, then he asked a employee who standing around us if she is busy. Then I was passed to that employee. This experience does not sound that bad actually, but throughout I feel that guy did not show respect to me through any actions or facial expressions.

Had a great experience with Gio, One of the iPhone technicians. Even though I had to unfortunately buy a replacement because of water damage to my phone, I ended up only paying about half the cost of a new phone. I’m very happy with my service and I will continue to be a loyal customer of Apple. No wait time at the store also.

Lady on the door was telling us half an hour early that they already closed come back tomorrow I have to mention my kid leaves to UC San Diego early in the morning and I showed her that I am paying cash $1,400 for iPhone proMax . Then the other associate let us in Even though we called ahead too to inquired about their inventory one day before. The African American associate helped us he was very kind.

Fairly busy store, great customer service. During my visit even with all the foot traffic the staff were patient and supportive. The whole experience was smooth and not rushed at all.I’ve never really liked going to stores, but these really make me want to experience in-person shopping. If only they sold cars too

I was not able to update my iPhone software and I visit there. After two hours waiting to update the software. The technician erased my phone without my permission and he didn’t fixed it. I back to home with a broken phone, lost my several years data, pics, videos, and all apps. (Non trained technician)
Apple products are so popular that there is standing room only in their stores. Also there is a shortage of merchandise on hand so customers have to reserve some products or order on line. But the salesforce is well trained, can answer most any question and there is a large variety of products on display. Finally for security, there were two Sacramento Policeman on duty at the store.

This store have the worst customer service out there, I called several times talked to Christina, Sarah, each time they both asked me the reason for my call and my name, after that they each told me with a bad attitude tone I dont understand what do you want wait a moment and put me on hold for half an hour then hung up on me, then called talked to Adrian she didnt understand my question then cancelled my order, I called after that to tell them the situation another specialist did the same thing put me on hold then hung up, I went to the store because I didnt want to waist another three hours without a solution, talked to one employee he listened to my concerns regarding my order but he was standing next to a blond guy I think his name was either Brian or Ryan with beard he let the blond guy answer me maybe because he had more experience in refusing to help customers he can do it with more confidence, the blond guy told me he cant do anything and no one can help with a very bad attitude and was talking to me while he was working on something online, I asked him if he can help because everyone over the phone hung up on me, he was biting on his lips and giving me bad attitude, he went supposedly calling the manager, he talked to a guy, I dont know what did he tell him, but that guy came to me his name Miles he told me hes the leader and right away he told me sorry as Brian or Ryan told you we cant do anything you have to call the online store!, I explained to him the whole concern, he replied do you understand that we cant do anything here? we dont have authorization !, I was shocked that such a great company would have such bad customer service !, at the end I lost; my money, my order and my time !

Made an “appointment” to pickup the iPhone I’ve already paid for. The gentleman at the door said I would have to wait in the 1.5 hour line. The same line everyone else waits in...So what’s the purpose of an “appointment”? Maybe you should inform people ahead of time that even if they have an appointment that they are going to have to wait for 1+ hours anyways so they can plan for it.Very dumb system. Easy fix = separate line for people with “appointments” and ones without.This isn’t rocket science guys.

This is an older review, but it checks out. I boycott this location due to the truly abysmal service I received there multiple times. They bungled the fixing of a simple issue (my Safari glitched when I would play anything on Youtube) to the extent that I needed an entirely new computer after several times they fixed the problem. Due to how badly they screwed up the company gave me an entirely free computer and I never, ever went back to this location. Go to Roseville.

I brought my cell phone to this location and they were able to help me fairly quickly. It turned out to be a lint build up in the charging port. Quick and easy fix, and much appreciated.
