An unique Russian grocery store that sells many delitious items from East Europe. It is worth to visit. A parking lot is a little bit small.

Very nice people. Americans and people of different backgrounds seem to be welcomed. Fresh bread, and yummy pastries. Reminds of German local delis.I try to speak Russian, but I need lots of practice.

Great place, has lots of different foods even thought the place is small. The food is amazing and delicious, the down side is Its a little expense- slightly higher than in other stores.

Forget about social distancing here. There is no room for it.Two customers at the same window at the same time serving by 2 cashiers without PPE.

Little store, but a lot of choices and good customer service

Owner of this store and as well the staff are super rude . I asked to cut me some meat 🥩 the owner refused to and was very rude said if I wanted some to come at 8Am, and then was saying rude stuff at me as well after I questioned her why not. . Other time I came in here this girl almost threw the bags at me and tried to make me leave faster and was already calling someone else when I didn’t finish putting away my wallet and taking my bags and moved my stuff . I don’t get why the staff is so rude here !! Teremok is 3 min away from this place, go shop their staff and owner there is very friendly .

The owner should teach his workers how to behave with customers... extremely rude.. workers use the same gloves used to grab money to cut food.

Small but always well stocked with more than many European stores have. Customer service seems to be depending on their mood - sometimes they’re super nice, sometimes not so much. Veggies are well priced but often not fresh. Deli meats are fresh and they have fresh baked in-house bread that is amazing. Overall a place worth returning to!

I used to have them at 5 stars. However, once the pandemic started and up until now, they refuse to follow the mask order. Their employees are not wearing them, and their customers neither. The space is no bigger than 400 sq ft. It takes about 6 customers and 2 workers to create a crowd in this store. Very disrespectful to customers.

OWNER IS SUPER RUDE, DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS OTHER STAFF. IF YOU DONT GET PAID ENOUGH THEN GO WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE. OWNER PRETTY MUCH THREW MY BAGS TO ME AND MAKES ME HURRY UP.

Some food are not freshest . But cashiers are not telling the truth, so you may be buying not fresh . Some candies are mixed soft and hard rock .

VERY BUSY.The meats and cheeses are great, but STAY AWAY from their cakes. They are NOT fresh as they keep the same one on the shelf for days and weeks on end.The lines are VERY long all day, so expect a wait.Other than that, the only item I would recommend purchasing is the meats. If you want, you can get it cut :)

There are much better places that are much bigger than this place is literally 5 ft by 5 ft if there is more than 3 people in the store you will not be able to turn around go to Pacific Coast Foods on San Juan and Greenback the best place!!! stay away from Gastronom Kiev.

I came by they were doing some repairs, which is fine, but while one of the staff or helpers was trying to help me find what I came for, the owner or owners wife in a rude tone said they were closed even though the door was open and they had about 1 hour before advertised closing time, and there was no sign outside saying they were closed early or apology for inconvenience. She obviously doesnt know how to talk to people or do business, so maybe their business needs to be closed.

Competitively priced authentic Slavic grocery store. Small and cozy, but has all the basic foods that youd traditionally go the Russian store to buy. Great selection of meats, cheeses, cakes, teas and canned goods. Hours are ideal for those last minute late night guest tea gatherings. Customer service is also authentically Russian, and you have to be rrally nice to them to receive good service and the better food (i.e. the fresh meats and cheeses they store in the back refrigerator). Also, they will gift you a free chocolate bar if you spend over $50 (score!). My favorite Slavic grocery store.

Fab, amazing deli, but youve got to watch out for the canned goods. Many of them are expired, which I dont obsess about when I find one at home, but its a little disconcerting to buy them when theyre already expired.

Cramped store, rude staff, could use a good cleaning.I came in there looking for a particular type of bread and one of the employees looked at me blankly and then just walked off. Her teammate was almost as stunned as I was and tried to fix the situation but it was not the first negative experience Ive had there so I was done.

Disgusting attitude towards customers. One of the saleswomen with dark hair (we did not recognize the name) was naughty to my mother-in-law, who could barely walk with a cane, wanted to use the toilet. We wont come here again.

Small cozy shop. We dont come here often. But always upon arrival in the store fresh food, sausages, vegetables, fruits, cakes. Very nice talkative staff. I definitely recommend it! 😊

I like. Although a small store, but a large assortment. The most delicious cottage cheese and poppy seed cake. And the sellers are nice, at least always friendly with me. And about our Russian stores, about spoiled and expired products - they have not come across yet, but we are not safe from this. Ive been pierced on Greenback many times! I bought ham yesterday, and today the edges are moldy, well, it’s just disgusting when they keep you for a fool - I was not too lazy to take it. They took it back, paid it, they just asked for the check. Our Soviet merchandise can not be beaten out. Is it possible to compare the American service and the service in Russian stores of Sacramento ?!
