Open early and closes late. Doesnt have a huge selection but its stocked well. Surprisingly large alcohol selection. Definitely wouldnt buy produce here. Another downside is that its really, really cramped.

Smart & Final need to make it clear only SOME employees wear masks. Decent store, has some things other grocery stores dont carry. The guy who checked me out was nice and wore his mask. This other employee had on no mask and no sign of a mask anywhere, was complaining about her life to the cashier dude in her bhad baby accent. Am sure these people dont care about their job but seriously keep that nonsense in the break room.

The store is a miniature Costco, close to Oak Park which is really nice. Cashiers are very friendly and classy, store is clean, with low lighting.

Staff is nice, works hard and does their best but the Management is terrible and doesnt back their staff up. they are always under staffed with management just standing at front of store and talking but not doing anything to help their staff out not even trying to bag for the cashier can move faster.They had two checkout lines open and with a line to the back of the store and other people cutting, as there is no clear direction where the lines should go.During COVID they had system set up which actually was more efficient. Now they have no system. If you want to stand in line for thirty or forty minutes this is your place, if your busy and more important things to do go hit Raleys and spend a little more money for the convenience.

Person had me on hold,came back and then got a Busy signal. Very bad customer service!

Often store is out of some basic items and selection can be limited but perfect for bulk paper products and food. Prices can be higher than larger stores on some items you buy every day

Nice inner city shop mostly catering to an urban population. Limited selection, but lots of bulk deals. Friendly staff and clean most of the time. All too often surrounded by homeless and the older sewer systems stinks under hot or high pressure conditions. Still, a nice place if you need groceries and are in the area.

The employees are VERY rude! I walked in and asked where something was and instead of showing me or even telling me, he POINTS! Then the cashier is too busy gossiping with the other cashiers to ring me up!

But like i said the store on stockton bld and the one on broadway and franklin bld the ones i visit most they dont have the mozzarela cheese .and if you ask the employees they say they dont have more .or they are too lazy to go look for it or they dont care about .helping customers

I went here because I needed to save a buck this week and its near me. This place is seriously scary but that being said- it cant help its location.As far as the experience- the produce is decent and well priced but its very limited. Everything was a great price and fresh and or cold. One employee was very nice and helpful- another completely ignored me when spoken to. It is what it is. Ill probably go back!

Me and my was shopping when we accidentally drop something a nice employee named emilina I believe was incredibly nice to help us pick the items that fell thank you emilina. You have a wonderful consumer service .

I havent been here since approximately 2009, when I was going to Sac State. I was delightfully surprised to see it still carries singles AND cases of most products. I am glad you havent changed, we will definitely be back, soon.

Great everyday low prices

I understand that can have a long day. But that’s no way to treat me. I have a very visible stroke with short of hearing on the right. I can do more to help with ADA people instead of putting us down.

Smart and final always has the great deals and prices in my opinion. Get your bulk items here if you have a big family or having a party. They never disappoint. Always have the things you want in stock. The staff is helpful and friendly all the time. Nice, neat, and clean whenever you go in. Very presentable and easy on the eyes. Makes you wanna come back all the time. Thanks for serving the community and making us want to come back.

Ive been shopping at my local S&F for 30 years because they offer good food at great prices and their in-store staff are courteous, helpful and true neighbors.

The people are so helpful and friendly . And remember us by name.

My experience with this store is terrible they really dont even deserve one star! They have very poor customer service. They dont respect elderly.. theyre rude and lazy. They dont have any accommodations for disabled people. When theres no one in this store they make people go all the way around the last aisle to get into line to check out there is a little African American man there... That does have no idea about customer service. All their chicken is injected with saline fluid. and they dont really care if people fall down or get hurt or are hurting when they come in there theyre very rude and dont care about seniors or disabled people. I will never shop there again in fact I am calling the better business as soon as Im done here I am furious with their attitude and treatment like everybody can jog and is very healthy.

I was pleasantly surprised by all the good food products from meats to household 👍 goods.

I dont shop at Smart & Final too often but I do like to go there for some large item purchases. Some deals are good, others not so much. You should watch there ad circular for the sale items. Otherwise you pretty much pay what you would pay anywhere, just buying in large quantities. For those of you who want to know, Smart & Final is NOT like Costco. Its a much, much smaller scale and the prices are a bit higher

This store is fairly inexpensive and has really good sales on top of that. It is by no means a fancy place but the employees are very friendly and helpful. It has some items from different cultures that the big supermarkets dont carry.

Theyre brand 1st Street meats are pretty good.but when they have a sale ad for the regular type of chicken you get another stores theyre almost always out of stock.

Its always my last, only if I have to resort. This S&F is closest to my home, but most times, Id happily go further to another one. Parking lot is dark, poorly lit, and lots of lurkers in it. Just doesnt promote safety. But otherwise, its a sizeable store.

I preorder my goods a week before I get my order when I got there to pick it up they did not have it ready. It took more than an hour to get my stuff. They usually have some one to load my car but they were short staff and I lend up loading my own stuff. I was very disappointed with the service.

Basically had everything I wanted, very few drawbacks. Isles were narrow .

I love to come to smart and final! They have all my favorite things in bulk. Fire balls. Thrifty ice cream. giant cans of nacho cheese and huge bags of chips. The candy selection is amazing! Fundraiser boxs of candy bars sold here too... a place to check out if you have not already...

This is the most hood, nasty Smart & Final in Sacramento.. I bought cases of Arizona green tea.. someone popped the plastic and drank 1/2 of one and put it back in the case

Not the best fresh fruit and veggies selection but a decent amount of meat. Lots of other groceries and bulk items. Parking is ample.

Very fast in & out. Associates are helpful. Great store for bulk paper goods.

Some prices are better than Safeway but you have to compare item by item tons sure .

Lot of products but employees are extremely rude that work on the floor seen them throw people out of the store because they did not think that the people fit into their type of store its extremely rude as far as Im concerned they should be reprimanded or at least fired and get new employees that are trained in social skills

Bare bones store, not much assistance can find bargain but overall no better prices than a full service supermarket. On par with Food Max but falls short being compared with Food Source, and Foods Co.

Ive used it as my corner market when Im close by. It can be both conveinient and fast and they have great store hours for me. It seems that they have most things I will routinely need on shelves within about 150 feet of their front door. I no longer live anywhere near this S & F but I keep going back.

On 28th & Broadway, it was pretty busy inside but staff is effecient and quick.

Only about 5 minutes in line and less than that to check out

This is one of my favorite grocery stores.

They have a great variety of items and you can get some great deals. You have to remember this store is primarily a store for vendets and so the pricing is with the idea of a vender markup so isnt always as low cost as you would think it should be. If you are a bulk buyer you can find some very good deals. the store is clean and they care enough to allow their customers to use the restrooms. The staff is helpful as well as friendly. If you buy here you wont be disappointed.

I went around 9 am and it was great. Its a good time to go because its not busy and everything was stocked.

I really like Smart & Final its a great place to go shopping and their prices are most of the time very good however I dont like the fact that its sometimes very hard to find somebody to help because Im in a wheelchair and cant reach things but eventually I do get someone.

I shop at other Smart & Final stores frequently, but this was my first (and last) experience at this location. The store is obviously older; but it is messy, dirty and extremely disorganized. Its such a small store, that normal items you would purchase (Chicken stock and sun dried tomatoes) are not even carried.

Soooo many food items to choose from if your haveing a party or just a simple dinner they have all the Best foods to buy for such occasions, in bulk or one thing at Time good prices new store were kmart on stockton blvd used to be come abd check it out

It is one of the original Smart and Finals to come to Sacramento, so it isnt as big as the newer ones. But it still has a great selection

Manager or supervisor eduardo was absolutely no help. He refused to return an item for me. I was told it was against store policy. He clearly hadnt read the policy which is posted at the register.

Always find all I need plus. lol. Very friendly, courteous, and helpful people working at this store.

Its usually in and out good store its on the hard side of town. Dim please in the store grade but it isnt tough part of Sacramento
