Our experience with C&R Moving was incredible! Ion & Q (our movers) were timely, professional, competent, calm, friendly, and organized! Our new house is 3 stories and they handled it so well! They took care of our possessions and moved everything in a timely manner. It was 1000% worth the cost (which was very reasonable). I would recommend C&R moving (and especially Ion & Q) to anyone who needs a stress free move!

We used CR Moving Services for our move from Northern CA to the central coast. They provided a fair and accurate quote and had great customer service & communication. We made a mistake and packed both sets of our RV keys in the moving truck and didn’t realize the mistake until the truck had already left. Their team unloaded the truck to find the keys we needed and was very helpful. I was very nervous about using a moving company for the first time especially for a long distance move but it was a great experience. William was the lead on our job and was phenomenal. Highly recommend!!

This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I should have known they were incompetent when they had to ask me 3 different times for my address which I included on the form listing all my items. I spent weeks packing and labeling all my boxes. I got severely sick in the middle of the move and had 103.5 fever when we got to the new house. I showed the guys the different rooms and then fell asleep on my couch. Unfortunately the movers didn’t wake me to sign off and had my senior parents sign for me. When I woke up I had boxes clearly labeled as garage in my kitchen and boxes clearly labeled as kitchen in my garage. Why did I spend all that time labeling the boxes when they clearly didn’t care. They broke my head board and then didn’t put my bed back together right so the mattress fell on the floor the first night I tried to sleep in it. And I will have to hire someone to fix it. They took down 3 garage shelving units at the old house and then put them back together in the new garage except they stacked them one in front of the other and filled them with boxes (some that were clearly marked for kitchen) so I couldn’t get to any of them without unloading all the boxes on each shelving unit. Will need to hire someone to help me unload the boxes and move the shelves. They also buried my paper towels and toilet paper on those shelves instead of bringing them in the house where a new home owner could use those items. Common sense to me. Yet they brought a box of pond supplies into the kitchen. Who has a pond in their home? But they couldn’t bring in the paper towels and toilet paper? The blocked my Washer and dryer so I can’t get to them without moving a bunch of boxes. A new home owner might have some clothes to wash as things have been packed for weeks. They did the same to my oven and blocked my from using it until I move a bunch of boxes. When I explained to the owner, Paul, my disappointment and gave all the examples above he basically said it was my fault for not giving the guys directions. Sorry I didn’t realize I had to babysit professional movers and tell them where ever single LABELED box should go. I paid close to $4000 to move 2 hours away and I have had better moving experiences having family and friends volunteer. He also tried to blame the issues on it being a long day. That is why I paid professionalMovers and paid them a lot of money including overtime. It was a longer day for me and I didn’t get paid $4000! Paul is the least compassionate person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Stay away him, his ego (he had the audacity to tell me to take my emotion out of it when I explained my experience) and from his moving company. They are a total rip off. Get family and friends to help you instead of these guys. I really just wanted Paul to know about my experience to prevent someone else from having the same disappointing experience but it was obvious by him blaming me for his guys incompetence that he didn’t care about my experience or preventing another customer from having the same experience so I wrote this review. If I can save one person from the nightmare I experienced it was worth the time writing this.

The movers were very professional and respectful of the residents. They accommodated them as much as possible and got compliments along the way. I will use them again in the future.

William and Caesar and the rest of the team (four guys total) moved our law practice out of a class A building on Capitol Mall into another class A building on Capitol Mall. These guys had amazing energy to get things done. Despite delays due to building elevator shut downs, and building blockage of the loading dock, William and the rest of his team were energetic and managed to compensate to keep the estimate on track (again, no fault of the team, just a building hiccup). We really appreaciate their enthusiasm, conscientiousness, and ability to get the job done right.Would not hesitate to hire them again for a move.

I have made many moves, from across town to across the country, and I can tell you that CR Movers does a fantastic job!! Their quote was spot on... their movers were professional, friendly, and helpful... and everyone I spoke with in the office was considerate and kind (that goes a looong way when youre stressed during a move). We actually used them twice- once to move my mother during her move, and another to move us to Lincoln. Well definitely call them next time!

Sneaky people. Unethical. They moved our boxes and furniture about 3 miles from one end of Natomas to the other in June 2019. Overcharged us from the agreed upon contract because they were arguing with each other during the move. Told us we needed three men, but one just sat in the truck on his phone doing paperwork most of the time. Paul charges you for their breaks, which they extend to 30 minutes. Do not use this company. Staff is rude on the phone. Driver drank beer on the job. Workers were inexperienced (first time for one of them). I reported CR Movers to the state department of consumer affairs who licenses this company for unethical conduct.

WARNING: Do NOT use this company! They will rip you off! We have moved many times over the last few years and this was by far the worst of all. This company was extremely unorganized and inefficient. The movers stood around talking and smoking all throughout the day. One truck sat at the new house for an hour waiting for other truck because they didnt have runners to start the unload process and this is time we had to PAY for. Our move was supposed to be completed in one day, and it ended up taking two. We did not expect to have to spend the next day moving in as wel, which was a huge inconvenience for our family as we had not been prepared for this. Also, the truck that did not get unpacked had all our last minute items, so we were left the first night in the new house without any toiletries, important belongings, and critical things for our baby. This is totally unacceptable. Our time is valuable too. On day 2, we were forced to sign a contract that virtually doubled our original bid because we were threatened that they were going to drop all our stuff on the driveway and leave. Our move was local, one mile away, 2900 sq ft home and bid was supposed to be $2100, very close to the other 2 quotes from other companies. This moved ended up costing $4500! We are certain that once seeing our new house and neighborhood, they profiled us and basically forced us to pay more. The fact that they charge hourly when many of the guys stand around (putting our basic bed frames together was a joke, and one mover stood there while my wife and I screwed in pieces to hurry the process). This is the WORST company ever. Very dishonest. Do not use! RUN AWAY FROM CR Moving & Storage!

Ryan from CR Moving came to my house and listed everything that I wanted moved using a computer application that gave a very close estimation of weight, time of move, and cost. He warned me that many other companies would tell me a lower price to get my business and then at the end of the move surprise me with a much larger bill. His estimate to me was 5.25 hours with four men at a cost of $1,005.00. The move took 8 hours with the men taking off for 25 minutes to get lunch! Well, as you can imagine my final bill was way over the estimate being $1705.00! A 70% increase! I talked with Daddy Paul who was very rude and didnt want to hear what I had to say. The movers broke off a crystal knob on my bed and stuck it in an open box neglecting to tell me. Avoid this company unless you want to be deceived. Major bait and switch! You have been warned.

This company ripped me off, do not use them! They were very nice and fairly reasonable at the get go and the loading was good, efficient, and the men they had hired were very easy to work with. HOWEVER it was a different story on the other end. These men who unloaded my things, many valuables, were very rough, in a big hurry and broke many things, such as a leg off a table, a wheel off an office chair, scratches on several pieces of furniture. I could have chalked all this up to a move experience but when they broke the thermostat off the wall, causing there to be no heat or AC, and then have refused to compensate me the $309 dollars for a new one, price includes service call, I have to give them 1 star, only because they started out so nice. This happened end of last Sept. and I have given them many many opportunities to make this right and they just kept putting me off till this is my last resort. Dont be fooled by nice beginnings, things may not turn out so well!

Nov4/19 was our move from elk grove to Sacramento. A crew of 3 handled the loading/unloading of furniture and appliances. Unfortunately on Nov 6 we discovered that our old Fujitsu plasma tv no longer worked when we turned it on. It was really old but we were happy with it.Same day, I immediately reported the incident to their ofc, which was investigated and processed only after the owner arrived on Dec 9, after a vacation.I had furnished the ofc info required like TV model, serial nbr, etc pics of damage included. A plasma tv is to be handed carefully and gently. Jolts and bumps or rough handling could cause internal damage, of which pics would be difficult to supply.I suggest that clients make sure that their appliances be checked in front of their movers before and after the move. It would take more time but if you value your appliances, it should be worth it.Aside from this problem, the move was smooth. The crew was great and fast. I give credit where credit is due.My message:Clients, do your homework in looking for good companies you will work with. This will avoid disappointments and strenuous relationships.

Dont use this company. They quote one price then inflate that price. You get an invoice for the inflated price and a few days later youll be charged an even higher price.

They dont have a ramp and only use a lift gate, which means double handling of all items, much slower but more money in bosses pocket . Estimates are horrible. Trucks are small . Not a lot of proper equipment.
