We rent a LOT of cars for our clients, we drive celebrities around for several casinos and other big companies. Every car rental company we deal with does a great job for us accept this one. We did our first and LAST rental with these guys this past weekend. They did NOT do what they told us they would. So buyer BEWARE. Their attitude is not for a long term relationship with people, it seems to be screw you once and get all they can one time.

Dropped off a truck to have a spray in bed liner put in. When we got it back, bed liner looked great! However, we had to ask to have the grease wiped off the tailgate when it wasn’t there when it was dropped off. Also was told AFTER we paid that the warranty was not as we were told due to there being rust in the truck bed. In my opinion, we should’ve been notified of this before the bed liner was done not AFTER we paid.

I recommend this business to anyone with automotive needs. I got my appointment in a timely manner. They give good service for a great price.

Went to get my car radio replaced. Took about an hour and 40 minutes. The guy who replaced it was nice and informative. Got a 2 year warranty on it. Was glad I finally got my radio fixed. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. If anything goes wrong, dont mind having them do the repairs. Glad to have chosen them.

I took my 2016 Ram here for new brakes because they were starting to squeal. I got a call mid afternoon that the brakes still had half of their life left in them. And that they were squealing because they were original and didn’t have something on the clips. Redmond’s offered to put whatever was needed on the original brakes to stop the squealing. But I requested new brakes anyway, which they did perfectly. But what impressed me most is the level of honesty and no attempting to sell me everything. Their honesty goes a long way with me!

Ok. My new starter keeps doing weird stuff randomly to my car. Documenting video of the weird glitches and bringing it back. Also missing the back hatch hole punch out to access the lock.

Got a custom box for my subwoofers from them and it was perfect. Customer service was amazing, it was done quickly, and it sounds amazing. Definitely would go back to them for anything.

I am a otr truck driver and had to take my truck to kenworth to get fixed, well after I walked 6 miles from hotel to enterprise, enterprise told me they could not rent me a car well I called Redmond and after talking to I think is the owner and his wife they were more than glad to help me. I want to thank you guys from one business owner to another I would have never been able to get my truck fixed from having to go back and forth signing paperwork. Well after over 12k fixing my truck I will be back on the road soon. Thanks!!!!!

Had an appointment at 11. They told me job would take 1 hr 30 minutes. They did not have my truck done until 4 p.m. did apologize after I questioned why 5 hours. But pretty much just made it seemed like it happens and the bed liner took longer than they thought. Customer service was not great or even good. Ill pay more next time for better service at one of their competitors.

Called to see if they could install some runningboards that I had purchased. Now I did not know that Redmonds only installs products that were purchased from them, which is perfectly reasonable, but they couldve just said that. When I asked if they could install some runningboards that I had purchased and how much to install, the gentlemans exact words were, Im not even gonna get into that, we dont install used products. No kind tact, no respect, just blatantly rude. I most definitely do not recommend this business, for they pick and choose who they will and will not be polite to, if thats how they handle customer support, I can only imagine what type of care they would have for my vehicle, Im guessing NONE. I definitely will never do business here, I prefer companies that provide a welcoming atmosphere as well as quality work and customer support, all of which Redmonds severely lacks. The are honest workers and they honor their warranty. We had a brake down while we were on vacation about 13 hour away from home. We had to spend an extra day due to car repair. Almost $500 in repairs... when we arrived home, my husband called them and was told to bring the receipt in. They issued a check to him to cove the cost.

Had replacement speakers installed and they sound great, service was excellent and job was done quickly. Scott was very helpful in giving me options for the best replacement, even suggesting a speaker that was nearly half the price but would have the same warranty and similar performance. I still went with the premium option and I’m extremely happy with it .

Staff is very friendly, they also answered any questions I had and they told me a lot of information to help me decide my stereo system for my sub and amp. They also installed my viper remote car starter at a later date. Prices are very reasonable and I really havent had any problems with what theyve installed in my car. Im very satisfied with Redmonds.

I went to get an automatic start put in, made an appointment 2 weeks in advance because I live in the Detroit area (drove up here because everyone I knew and called recommend it), and still had to wait twice as long as they told me when I made the appointment. I understand shops get busy but thats why I made the appointment. I ended up running late for my whole day. Love my start, works great. But was pretty sour on having to wait hours over what I was told weeks ago because they had a walk in before me. Again...I had made an appointment.

I bought a remote start for my manual transmission vehicle here. Thats a taller order than it sounds like. Not everyone is willing to install a remote start in a stick (you dont want the car starting while its in gear and jumping unexpectedly). They were willing to install it and have been super helpful with everything. They replaced the batteries in my key fob after a year for free and were super helpful when I was ready to upgrade to the cell phone app version of the device. I definitely recommend them for car upgrade stuff.

Just want to inform everybody on where not to go to get your car repaired. Redmonds! First of all, Redmonds told me my car would be repaired in one day, and if not in one day then a guarantee fix the day after, but it took way over. Next, they tried to tell me, the part I replaced 3 days prior, that it was worn down and old, which is a complete lie. Redmonds auto repair is a scam. Also, they told me labor would be $90 an hour, but when I get there to pay they tried to say there were shop fees as well. Their words were Shop fees are things like if we use a drill bit or air. Why am I paying you by the hour????? Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Never would recommend to anybody.

A AWESOME PLACE TO GO TO FOR YOUR TRUCK OR CAR CARES

Spent around $300. After about three weeks, the repair was never completed after full payment and my calls/texts became ignored/blocked. I ended up getting my vehicle repaired elsewhere.

OK, This is a tough one....My wife and I rented a van from them for a spring break trip for our 4 kids from MI to TX (1500 miles one way) Staff was friendly and overall good to deal with.....EXCEPT about 10 miles from our destination the speedometer stopped working! (Talk about stress) This was a Saturday so we called and let them know......before we even got the last 10 miles they texted and said that as long as the van is running fine that there is nothing to worry about and they would fix it once we got back. (I am paraphrasing as I dont have the phone with me that has the text on it) So in other words, you have no idea how fast you are going but enjoy your time there as you drive around all week and spend 1500 more miles coming home ---again without knowing how fast you are going.I ended up working on the van for about an hour and got the speed-o to work....however on the way back a week later it quite again and then after stopping and wiggling wires, it started again. I let them know about the stress level this caused all week and the time I put into it and asked for some form of discount........never even got a response.While they seem to be kind and helpful up front....when there was a problem (major one!) they really did not seem to care and definitely did not make ANY attempt to make it right with customer!
