In here all the time. owners are super helpful. Im thankful to be able to build my ps1 collection and fix the disc i buy. One of my favorite stores to go to.

For some reason I was scrolling through the reviews and was reading a bunch of 1 star ratings over not being polite, overly priced, not a big selection, and outrageous story’s that were shortly fact checked by the owner (which I find hilarious!) who in my experience has always been kind and a good guy along with his wife. The store may not have the EXACT game you were looking for but the store has a huge selection of games for almost every system with decent prices that if you were to go on Amazon and purchase would be 3x the price. I also see people complaining about how they only got $2 for a $5.99 game… these people need to make a profit to have a business, that’s why it’s called BUSINESS and if you thought that coming here you were going to get $20 for a game you paid $20 for I pray you don’t start a business. But anyway I love this place, I don’t come in too often as I’m not a constant video game player but when I’m in the mood to get a new game this is the first place I go to for the good prices, nice selection of games, good customer service, and truthful management.

The very last Game Crazy! Still in Salem, still going strong, still offering a great selection of both current and older consoles and games, and still has great customer service. I would much rather visit this store than Game Stop under any circumstances. Thank you Game Crazy!

Although they didnt have what I was looking for the staff was very friendly and they had a bunch of stuff I didnt know I wanted until I saw it. It was like a time machine for retro games.Do not skip out on this place if youre looking for retro games, this store had some gems and I wish I had the money to buy another N64 or Dream Cast. Im sure things come and go often so check back and call in before heading in, the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Very well presented with a giant variety of stuff, but the prices were higher than Ive seen at other local game stores.

I went and got what I wanted. got home and the product doesnt work very good.

Stopped in just to look around and see what they had. Didn’t find anything in the store that I wanted, they do not have a very large selection. There was a young man trying to sell some games while I was there and he did not make a deal and was leaving at the same time I did. Once we were outside I asked him about one of the games that he was trying to sell and we agreed upon a price And I purchased it from him. The guy behind the counter came outside yelling and screaming at me for buying the game from the kid and said I was stealing his business

Im a huge fan of the old pokemon games, but theyre so expensive these days. A friend referred me to Game Crazy, and I found a place that I can buy older games and consoles at an affordable price. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

I decided recently to pick up an Xbox 360. I looked online, but there’s a lot of potential problems with buying secondhand electronics, so I looked for a local game store. My Google Fu led me to Game Crazy. I like buying local and supporting small businesses, so I read over some reviews. I read the good and the bad, and there was a 1 star on here because they are adamant about enforcing mask rules. Y’all, this made me decide 100% to support this guy!! He’s fair and well-stocked in a clean store. I won’t go anywhere else for my games now! Thank you!!!

I would recommend Game Crazy, I go there quite often and I always come out happy. They have great prices for a lot of games, I bought genesis and snes games from there and came out happy. I just wish the hours were more lenient.

I think it is amazing how they have so many types of games and consoles, and they have classic video games and consoles too, and they also have the newest games, and quick and friendly service!

Sonetimes you win the lottery when you shop local. I went in to Game Crazy on an impluse. The owner was very friendly and patient with my questions. I saw Mirrors Edge for the XBox One and went to the counter to buy it.When the owner of the store saw that the disc was scratched he gave me the disc back and told me to keep it. No charge. He could not in good conscience charge me for a product that was defective.I appreciate his honesty and his integrity. He didnt have to do this and could have sold the product as is. He didnt. And I am grateful and will definitely shop in the future at the Game Crazy in South Salem.

Appearently this store will only offer a medical accommodation for their mask law at the curb and if you give them the pin code to your debit card. And if you attempt to retrieve your debit card from them they will throw you out physically and deny you any accommodation. I thought supporting a local business was good, appearently it isnt always good, its a shame theyve lost what would be a lifelong customer (for the last 5years already). H O R R I B L E

Went in to sell my retro games to them. they only offered me only 15 dollars for 12 games and 8 of those 12 they had up all the wall for 50 to 60 a piece! Just such a rip off. Sell your games online. You will be much happier with the outcome.

I feel like all the good games from other locations get thrown in here and then get marked up 5-10 dollars more than even they should sell games for. I always get either a hurry up feeling or I dont exist. Buy your games online

I would have to say, hands down, this location is the best Game Crazy in Salem. I never know what I am going to find when I go in. I even managed to get an original Playstation for $40. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the game systems. He even refurbishes the consoles himself. Definitely, would recommend this one to anyone, who loves Mom & Pop stores.

They charge very cheap and VERY nice. Overall a great time. Also the owner gave me SPECIAL EDITION for only 16.95. Definitely coming back again.

Great place. Lots of game options. Tons of old systems. Lots of options for the old systems. Almost went to the major place for a used game, then remembered this place. Glad I did. It was our 1st visit. Kids found the games they wanted, and a couple they didnt.

Good game deals and extremely friendly owner, I bought a 3ds from there recently and have gotten games there prior. Definitely plan to go back.

They have a wide variety of retro games and accessories. The employee qorking was very helpful and not only did she clean my games but she also tightened one of the screws that had come loose on the cartridge. Great service and a good selection.

Owner of this place is getting cheap and wont accept sells unless its something rare and one of a kind. Also seems to lack knowledge of both video games and marketing strategy. Love Game Crazy, grew up with it, always a good selection of used games, but this location will be subpar at best until owner ia replaced by someone who knows what theyre doing.

These folks are always willing to help you out, whether its with finding something youre looking for, answering questions, or helping trouble-shoot game issues. I had a SNES game eating my saves, and the guy diagnosed it as a battery issue. Not only that, he quickly replaced the cartridge battery for a really low price. Works great now! Always taking my business here.

95% of the games that they take in on trade or thrown out completely they only keep the good ones but yet the good ones that they get rid of are destroyed. They also sell all the stuff on Amazon for 10 times as much as you get in for trade on it. Basically sell your stuff on Amazon or let go and you get more money for your value.

There is a pretty decent selection of games here, as well as consoles. The owner must be having a bad day because I can sense that he just wanted me out of there. Despite spending $150 at the store he still involved me as a lesser being, which kind of ticked me off a bit. $10 for an 8mb memory card for a ps and the controller bundled with my console was broken. The console itself is missing a piece in the disk tray which makes it hard to keep disks in. I really wish he would have tested these items out before selling them to me.
