Wild Things is a great card shop, hobby stop, toy store, however it can be labeled. I have found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable, the prices for things are competitive to anywhere else, and the gaming area is nice. Good atmosphere, 5 stars all day till they screw it up somehow....Im actually praying they dont, I like this store. Lol

The shop itself is nice, lot of items reasonably priced. For the events, prize support is lacking so its not worth the cost to play.

The staff here are extremely polite and helpful. They know what theyre talking about when it comes to games, thats for sure!The board game selection here is outrageous. Theres something here to suit anyones style. There are even nerdy video games, like Dune or Rick and Morty themed, to name a few.They also sell snacks... you can easily make Wild Things Games a day trip!

Amazing! I felt like my inner nerd coming out! It was a bit intimidating, no one can really help that though. They had so many different things. I was there for war hammer codex books. Just got into that and I freaking love it. There was also a new MTG cards that had lore and that was freakin dope! I watched for a while the people playing the tournament. Give this shop 11/10. Ahhh.I was highly impressed by their selection of MTG boosters. I chose a few Battle For Zendikar packs. However, upon closer inspection they appeared to be resealed. There were a couple vertical slits at the top and bottom of the packs where itd be pulled apart at the. Very peculiar for I have never seen anything like that from legitimate packs.I am from MT and was heading down the road before I realized this so, alas. I spent money on what appeared to be resealed boosters. Quite a waste.

Pretty good deals on their items, lots of stuff to look at, especially if you love boardgames. I recommend coming in and experiencing this shop!

Absolute WORST place to buy Pokémon cards from. They charge more than what scalpers charge and they are a legit business. Pretty sad really. Ultra premium collection retail price is $120 they want $325!!!!!!! Insane! A little markup is ok but this is ridiculous. I hope this place goes out of business.

Fairly priced Magic singles. Great trade in and play system. Workers are knowledgeable and funny which is always a plus. Clean, organized, and loses a star for missing many single, long lines, and some overpriced accessories.

They have a huge selection of table top games and magic cards. Unfortunately they were out of the card I wanted but they do have good prices for them. They also have a ton of tables for their game nights.

I cannot express how much I enjoy the store. I go in often. I miss playing at the location but I appreciate how well they are following covid restrictions.They have a great variety of things and the staff is always willing to help you out or give input on things your newly getting into.

$50 for the European expansion to Wingspan! I cannot find it more expensive anywhere else. I tried to. And they still do not have the Oceana expansion. It seems like they are more geared toward Catan, Magic, and playing games there/tournaments.

Wild Things is a nice store for browsing around. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is laid back and un-intimidating. The inside of the store is open and well lit -- I dont feel like Im shopping in a cave.Their biggest strength seems to be Magic cards and table top games. They have a ton of cards, games, models, figurines, several brands of model paint, and other supplies.I knocked two stars off my rating because I used to shop here primarily for dice, but their dice selection is not what it used to be.They once had a great selection of Chessex, but over the past year or so, all of the really interesting Chessex sets have disappeared and been replaced with boring opaque dice. Very disappointing. There are still some interesting pipped dice left over, metal dice sets in several colors, and a very small selection of MDG, Q-Workshop, and a couple others. But honestly, theres nothing that makes me want to go back for repeat purchases. I really miss the variety they used to have.Still, Wild Things is a good store overall, and I would recommend it... just maybe not for dice enthusiasts.

They seem honest with most products but with the individual pokemon card packs they sell are RESEALED. I looked at the packs and they had messy glue marks at where the packs are sealed with peeling parts of the wrapper, and it was on all the packs I bought. A couple months later and they were still selling resealed packs. Just dont buy individual packs from this place and if you do, check the packs before you buy them...

I have been shopping at this store for several years, and have bought everything from trading cards (mostly Pokémon for my kids) to board games, figurines, comic books, deca-dice and more. The staff is always helpful and not pushy when you are in to browse, and they carry a great and varied stock. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for something game/comic related!

I like the atmosphere of game shops, this is like every other gameshop. The exception being that its got a lot of space. If youre spending thousands of dollars on models, you may as well do it here.

Maybe some stores shouldn’t reopen if they are going to treat your family like the plague.Having never been to this store before, I thought that since the non essential businesses can reopen it would be fun to bring my kids in to pick out a board game and get some minis for our other games. I also wanted to see what other things they had to offer.Within a few minutes of entering the store we were asked three times if they could help us find something. Also they were limiting browsing to 10 minutes. There was only 1 other person in the entire while we were in the store. They never approached him once. The entire time we were there I had eyes on me.Each of my kids had a mini that they were wanting to get and we were about to head over to the board games when we were approached again.I told the boys to put back the minis because obviously my business wasn’t welcome. I won’t be back. There should be a 0 star rating.

Great location, solid selection, great customer service. Customer service was especially great when my wife came in looking for a present for me and didnt know exactly what she was looking for. It is rare to find a card shop that creates such a welcoming environment for women.The ONLY thing keeping me from giving a 5 star review is the website. On desktop it is difficult to navigate. On mobile it is borderline unusable. If you know exactly what you are looking for it is serviceable but is easily the biggest knock against the store.

Misunderstood what I wanted, I simply wanted them to look at my cards in the binder and give me a rough estimate of what they think the value is based on what they could see and taking my word for it when I said they were in mint condition. They said they couldnt look at them at the moment so I trusted them and left them there. When I arrived to pick them up and get an estimate all my holos and rares had been taken out and stacked up, some bare naked. Mind you these cards havent left the sleeves in 20 years and I know some of them are psa10s. I told them that I didnt want to sell them and when I asked about value I got vague response. They only told me how much they would give me for the cards they picked out of the binder.. Which was a slap in the face. Communication issue.

This store has a very diverse collection of many types of tradable card games. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about products in the store. Hoping Friday night magic comes back soon 🤞

I picked up a hidden fates box for them and I was charged 250$ just to find out the box is actually 180$ at the most in other trading card stores so I feel really cheated out of my well earned money in these hard times but it’s just another lesson learned.

If you are a miniwargaming addict like me, then this is NOT the place to go to if you happen to be visiting Salem, OR. It was horrible! The staff were too helpful in assisting me! Their selection of SW Legion beat any store Ive been in in CA; so much so I had to complement them! And the GAMES!!! There were so many that Im just gonna have to come back everytime my trucking company sends me back up to Oregon; just to take it all in! But other than that, I had a great experience as a new customer. Keep up the good work! Im already planning out my next purchase for my next visit. 👍😁

I know with Covid-19 shopping is a bit different but coming in here was a different story entirely. We were told we had 10 min then told we had to be 6 apart when we are from the same household. We put our items back and left - they have a great selection but seem a bit too quick to chase out business.
