Went in to get my phone fixed due to it being frozen on the apple logo and wouldn’t turn on. The first employee (Ed) wasn’t very helpful and didn’t have any interest in helping fix it. Ended up coming back to buy a new phone, the second employee was helpful but left halfway during the process to set up my new phone and I couldn’t find her.
I recently visited Verizon, I bought a new iPhone! I was excited for the experience, but sadly, with the help of Jennifer, my night quickly went from great to beyond disappointing. Jennifer was rude and unwilling to help, for example… I had just spent over 1200 dollars on my new iPhone salivating on thought of playing solitaire with this new, luxurious, but still vulnerable iPhone. See, with iPhone if you drop it, it breaks; so naturally you spend an extra 50 bucks on a persnickety screen protector. Now with the installation of a screen protector, we all know that the slightest tweak or twitch could lead to the eternal demise of for your phone’s looks from then on out. (This is where Jennifer comes in), I politely buy the screen protector with my new iPhone, I’m excited that it is going to professionally installed. Jennifer instead, rudely hands me back the screen protector and says she won’t do it. I think.. hmm.. this is odd? So I say, “Oh, I thought you guys installed these with a purchase?” She snarls back, “We do, but I don’t” AND HANDS IT BACK TO ME!! She enters the back room and I left with an after taste of curdled milk. Thanks Jennifer..
This place is and always has been a complete joke void of any personal service. Heather is the absolute worst rep ever. No husling or multitasking, just a sad Jose trying to run game .

I ordered a new iPhone from here and when I came to pick it up, they gave me a Motorola. Instead of apologizing, the employee smirked and said, “This looks more like your budget anyway. Just kidding, I’ll get your iPhone.”. I told him to cancel the order instead. I came here to buy a phone!! If I wanted to get roasted I would have gone to my parents house not the freaking Verizon store!!
My primary phone broke in an accident and I needed it replaced quickly because i had a security clearence interview. the store in junction city didnt have my model of phone i wanted but told me if i went to salina itd be ready by the time i got there I had a job to do in salina anyway so I agreed but i stressed that i was in a hurry I needed it before work and they told me it was all already squared away they just had to pull it off a shelf. So i get to salina and show a salesman my paperwork and he tells me they dont have it. i asked if i could talk to a manager just to be sure they werent over looking something. The manager was incredibly rude telling me it was ridiculous for me to exepect to pick it up so fast and told me that they didnt have it i asked if there was any way i could walk out with a phone ANY phone in the next 30 minutes and he actually laughed at me, having enough i asked if i cancel the order how long would it take for a refund and he told me instantly I asked if he was sure itd be instant and he said yeah so i had him cancel it and ran to walmart to buy a cheap prepaid but surprise surprise the refund wasnt instant and I couldnt afford even the cheapest prepaid that would take my sim card. This goes beyond incompetence this was straight up malicious when I spoke with customer support this morning they were very apologetic and helpful and told me theyd expidite the refund. Ive had terrible experiences with this location when they were in the building across the street. I have done everything online since then. Today I needed to get a new device but I needed it same day. Again I did order online because of how disappointing reps are in store and wanted to avoid them cramming unwanted accessories and offers down my throat. So it was time to pick up my device from the store. I walk in, theres 4 reps, 2 are with customers the other 2 are lounging and staring at their phones. Stood there for about 30 seconds, wasnt greeted. I had to speak up and say Im here to get my device to get someones attention. They didnt have my order ready, it had been about 2 hours since I placed this order so they had something those 2 non working reps could have been doing. The rep came out after being in the back for 5 minutes said she couldnt find my order. She then went to the extra rep from earlier who was still lounging on his phone for his assistance. She then went back for another 5 minutes at which time came back out finally with my device.I will continue to avoid this location.

Just love having this store when it is open. It is greatly appreciated for fantastic service and one on one support. Sometimes one on one is the only real way to get your problem corrected. I have a problem and there is no one to help me here. Cant wait for it to open again soon.

No stars. They said we cant help you. When I asked why they said they are really just the gas that drives the car. This is too expensive for such terrible service. We will phase out and go somewhere cheaper.

Didnt want to cancel a prepaid phone that I had over twelve years with them. They wouldnt give me a refund for the 12.00 I still had on the phone. I will never get Verizon service again.

Soooooooo slow. Went 5 times waiting more than 45 min, left the 1st 4 times. Finally got in and they said they couldnt help me with my problems a they only sell phones, they dont help with tech support.

I always do my Verizon business there. Ive been going there for years. I always deal with the best customer service representative Jill. Always get the best of service from her and wouldnt go anywhere else.
Verizon is very good at processing customers. They are efficient, but superficial. Verizon is a big company and they know it. Products are ok, coverage is great, but pricing a but high. You get what you pay for.
I needed a new screen protector for my phone. I was greeted when I walked in the door by an associate who added me by name and phone number to a list on her tablet, and after less than a five minute wait I was assisted by a sales rep! He went above and beyond by removing my old screen protector that had a crack in it and applying the new one after a complimentary deep clean of my screen. He was also very friendly and chatted while he worked. Would recommend!
Nice staff. Had problems receiving text messages on my new phone. Was able to solve problem. While I was there they were playing Christmas music which I thought was a little Soon but was enjoyable. Definitely Will Be Back.
We stopped in this location to replace a phone. We were helped very quickly, they showed us the newer version of the old phone we had. We were out of there with the new phone in less than 10 minutes.
Unless your buying a new phone this store is absolutely useless when it comes to any other issues

Go at off times to avoid long wait times, parking lot is dangerous. I had been extremely happy with their service until I found someone at this store had added an international service package to my line without my permission. I wasnt even in their store the day it is was added to my account. It took me over 90 minutes on the phone with National Verizon to get the four months of charges removed. I will have to scan every bill from now on to make sure they dont do something like this to my account again.

The Verizon by the Central Mall is awesome. I always go there for questions and to buy equipment. The Verizon on Crawford by McDonalds is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. A manager started yelling at me and got in my face because I asked him for help on my phone. I finally found my solution at the store by the Mall. That was great service!
Always have to wait quite a while. Some of the staff are kinda helpful, but only if youre lucky to get a good one that will take a couple minutes to show you what youre asking for instead of just trying to sell you the most expensive.They ONLY sell phones and accessories here, dont expect them to help you with anything to do with your bill or insurance, that must be done over the phone or online.

Okay Im a new customer to Verizon and I went to do a simple update to my plan and I had to wait well over an 1hr and the parking was terrible. I walked in and I couldnt even look around the store at accessories or anything else it was just packed. I was hoping that there was a fast lane or something to be able to handle simple request without the wait but that was not the case. I thought I was treated rude as I asked a question about my bill and got a response that I would have to call corporate to answer my question as the store doesnt have insights to credits or anything on the account. I will admit I was about 10 minutes late for my appointment spot but the the associate helped me at least check in then questioned how he could help then stated all associates were busy so he wouldnt be able to help as the time appointment had been missed. I proceeded to ask if he would look to schedule me in another time slot as it was just some simple changes and he asked what it was and I explained then was left alone for 6 minutes before he came back after I watched him stroll around the store and conversate with others with any regard to helping me in a timely manner. It took 4 minutes for him to handle my request and he wasnt very appreciative afterwards. So I guess go when its not Black Friday and be prepared for average service. Im assuming being a new customer isnt worth a lot these says as long as the carriers get there money. I guess Ill see how my overall service is but I wasnt happy with the first encounter by a long shot. I expect transparency and also intelligent honest answers to questions if I have to deal with corporate for simple questions why not just not have a store.

Verizon closed early when I was just trying to get accessories for my phone! But not only that if you do get inside it is really slow so you will be there for like 1-2 hours! Definitely not going back!

They have a great product, but the wait time is just crazy long. It is easy to burn an hour here, just trying to get waited on. All I needed on this trip was a charging cord. I gave up and bought one at Walmart.

Came into this establishment to add my husband to my plan. Got checked in and everyone who came in after me was helped first. Was there waiting for 2 hours no help almost closing time and still waiting. They do not care what order they help people. They are very rude and think when you buy a phone outright that is unlocked you stole it. I have never been more disgusted and disappointed in service. If you need help make sure you have several hours to waste.

I set an appointment. No one came out for 30 minutes to even talk to line of ten people. After waiting 10 minutes past the end of my appointment without even being able to check in, I left. Go someplace else if you want service.

I had to come.from Hutch and Im thankful I did. The female manager here is stellar. She is human... treats u like a human... not a number. She is knowledgeable, & if she doesnt know she will find out... not days but give her a few mins & poof. The gentlemen that was w/her was great. I was hopping mad when I came in & left w/a smile. It is clearly time to switch to Sprint. The people at one store wont answer their phone. The people at the other store have no idea how to contact the folks at the first store and didnt seem at all interested in helping me. (Are you kidding me?). When my phone calls were routed to the corporate folks, those people had no idea how to help me and eventually told me that the service I needed could only be provided by the local folks in the local store. I spent an hour on the phone with zero results. Sprint cant be any worse.

Absolutely disappointed with the service at this store! My husband and I arrived when it opened to pick up my new phone I ordered online. The guy tells us he cant transfer my data to the new phone! What? Isnt that the reason to go to a store in the first place? He made no apologies, said they were short staffed. Also said Manhattan store wouldnt help either. Verizon isnt transfering data any longer, per Verizon regulation. That was a line of bull! Brett in the Manhattan store saved the day and was a true example of what customer service is. Perhaps the Salina staff could take note!!! Verizon is lucky to have great employees like Brett, willing to help great customers like us!

I called two months ago and had my plan changed to a less expensive one because apparently I had an old plan. When I received the bill, it was still priced at the old plan. Didnt make a big fuss thinking that the plan would change for the next cycle. NOPE. So I called the same number (9th street location) and since they didnt answer the phone, I got automatically transferred to a call center. The lady I spoke with explained that she didnt see a previous call (maybe because I didnt speak with them, I spoke with someone at the actual store) and she could now change the plan. She cant do anything about the previous months because she doesnt show any record of a call. She tried to transfer me to the actual store and couldnt get through. This is DAY FOUR of me calling and trying to get someone in the 9th street location to answer the phone and I get nothing.... just transfers to the call center. I no longer live in Salina so I cant just go up there. This is ridiculous and its at the expense of me. This is a phone company! It shouldnt be this complicated to get someone on the phone!

The wait wasnt too long & the lady who signed me in was very polite made sure to let me know someone would be able to speak with me in a bit.I didnt end up waiting long at all, so I appreciated that very much as well.On the other hand, the lady who was the one that I thought was at least going to try to help me with the 2 different things that I came in for, ended up being extremely rude to not only me, but who I was with as well. She had an attitude, cut us both off while we were asking questions, and she also just made herself seem like she didnt know anything about what we were trying to ask her. It seemed like she was trying to push us out the door; like she didnt feel like dealing with potential customers. Just very unprofessional from my standpoint.But while I am pretty dissatisfied with the last part, everyone else seemed professional and very polite, so I might be a returning customer here pretty soon.Thank you to everyone, even though I didnt quite get anything figured out.
Overpriced, rinkydink expensive insurance plan for devices, pushy sales people. I was financially better off buying from Amazon and getting straight talk.

Its a Verizon store. An odd mix of high pressure sales, and unwarranted suspicion by the floor staff. They try their damndest to get you to commit to as much as possible, and when you do, they spend 45 minutes debating with their associates on whether or not you might be scamming them. I had a paid, online order lost by these guys, so I had to go through the entire process of upgrading my line twice, then when I let them suggestively sell me the $1000 phone, I had to wait while they flipped a bag of coins to determine my worthiness and found me to be a less than desirable customer. They denied my upgrade because the kid clerk didnt believe in my state issued IDs and valid bank card. Corporate customer service was no help. Out of desperation, I went back in there a few days later and the different staff on duty let me get my upgrade with very few questions asked. Scratching my head here, and still waiting on a refund for the original tax payment on the paid order they lost.
Waited FOREVER. Didnt really get the full answer to my problem.
Prefer the Salina location over the Hutchinson one.

WONDERFUL!!!!!!I spent 2 hours (maybe more) with Tammy Livengood who answered EVERY question I had about every possible payment/phone/return scenario before i jumped in and purchased my iphone 5c (which i LOVE). Then, she and her associates helped me pick the best color, let me try on several cases, and talked to me like I was their best friend all the while.When i left the store, my charging cable accidentally got left behind, and store manager Ginger happily over-nighted it to me.If I could go back to this store every time I needed something, I would take them cookies and presents.Loved them!!!
