Doug and Cry are fantastic fair and trustworthy. I recommend this establishment to anyone I never have to worry when I have my vehicles there.

I was recommended here and it wasnt a disappointment. They work efficiently and got the job done sooner than the estimated time they gave me. It usually is the other way around at other places. Doug was true to his word and charged me the amount they gave prior to the work. There were no surprises. It was also very reasonable for the labor that they did.

These guys are always upfront, no b.s. and willing to offer good options and advice.

Nothing but good words for this place. I’ve been here multiple times now, and I’ve always walked away feeling great. Everyone is super down to earth, friendly, and I’ve NEVER felt like they’re overcharging me or selling me unnecessary repairs, even though I’m obviously young and know nothing about cars. They let me know what things might need to be done in the semi-near future, but don’t try to push me to do it now if it’s not dangerous or going to cause major problems down the road.It’s SO great to not wonder and worry about whether your mechanic is trying to scam you into paying for unnecessary, expensive repairs.We moved farther away from them recently, but I’ll gladly drive an extra 10 minutes to keep going to a mechanic that I really trust.

Extremely happy with the service provided! Brought my Subaru Forester here after being quoted by the dealership (South Jordan) for $1600 in repairs when I had only taken it in for a recall. Rocky Mountain Tire and Service saved the day with a second opinion! They disagreed with the majority of recommended repairs and then replaced my battery without any service charge. We would have easily been taken advantage of if we hadnt been recommended to them. Would 100% recommend them to others!

Ive been coming to this place for over 20 years. Doug and Craig are still there. They run a great and honest shop. They treat my cars, service work and recommendations like their own. Sometimes they even say you could do this but if it was my car I wouldnt bother. When something goes wrong or not as expected they have exceeded any expectations in resolving. I totally trust this team. This is one place I am very comfortable sending my daughter or wife to alone.

My first experience with this company, just had my oil changed and because I was one of the last customers they were quick. I have a couple of other potential fixes so I may call on them again and then well begin to see where we are on the Service and Quality scale. If Enterprise Car Rentals and Sales trusts there work they must be in pretty good standing with them to have that account.

I have been coming to this shop for years now, and every time I feel like I am being treated fairly and on the level. I dont feel like they are trying to pull one over on me, unlike many other shops that I have used in the past. I strongly recommend any car owner to use this shop for their car repair needs.

I love this mechanic. They are honest, thorough, and reasonable. The first experience we had with them was having our car towed and they got us in the next day and said that we just need a transmisson overhaul(which was cheaper than any other repairs). After we picked up the car, the steering wheel was stiff so we took it back in to be looked at and they did a quick lube for free!!! Well today one of our windshield wipers went out and he noticed a connection was off so he took care of it for us again for free!! Doug always communicates fast and explains things thoroughly. We would recommend them to anyone and will continue to take our car here for anything future. Amazing job guys, its hard to find an honest and reasonable mechanic these days but this is the place!!!

We went to the dealership to change our oil and of course the dealership comes back things that are “wrong”. This time it was tire alignment, they said it would cost $130 so naturally I call around and find a better price. Not only was Rocky Mountain tire cheaper by $50 but they’re honest and integrable. We brought the report from the dealership and they said they would not recommend aligning. It was a slight rear tire misalignment, which is the opposite of what the dealership said. I will only be going to Rocky Mountain for my car and tire needs from now on. You can’t buy honesty!!

These guys are a perfect example of what a auto mechanic should be measured by. They are honest, thorough, do great work, and information. I had my car in a shop in Provo that was a nightmare... I took my car here to Rocky Mountain Tire & within 24 hrs they were already working on it & had made major improvement on my car. These guys dont. They do great work. Their prices are fair. The staff is very friendly and theyre always honest when quoting the cost of any repairs your car needs. They only fix what is broken...not lie and say you need repairs that you really dont. I will never stop using these guys! Love em!

I have taken 3 different cars to this mechanic over the past several years. They are BY FAR the most affordable, experienced, and honest auto mechanics you will find. The timing belt went out in my Camry today. I called around for a quote on both the timing belt and water pump and was quoted almost $300.00 more for parts and labor than Rocky Mountain Auto quoted me! They ALWAYS do things right the first time and are SO honest. I wouldnt recommend anyone else for auto repairs and maintenance.

I heard great reviews of this place from a friend and found really good online reviews as well. After going to them for a few things I can echo the good things being said about them. I trust them to be fair and honest and to do good work. I will bring my cars to them for everything moving forward.

I never take my cars anywhere else and tell anyone who has auto problems to go to them. Very honest as has been said and dont do anything that would cost more money if not required. Dont sell you things you dont need and for a not well versed in car terminology kind of guy like me these guys are perfect.

I cant really share about the quality of work but the customer service is on leave. I dont get it, I was in the US Air Force and if we was late one minute: AWOL. Got there 15 minutes before they open. Then waited 5 minutes in the lobby with no one around, ignored, I have to go and make my $75 an hour just like you do. Update: Found Discount Tire on 6300 Highland ... they were on top of taking care of their customers asap, I really appreciate it!

These guys are great. Theyre the most honest shop I have ever been to. They tell it to you straight, tell you what is urgent and what can wait and their rates are extremely competitive. If you need tires, brakes, a tune up, or something major go to Rocky mountain tire, you will never go anywhere else.

First got my tires here and then after my great experience go to them for everything. Great affordable prices. They always make sure the job is done right. I got my brakes replaced here and they were squeaking at every stop. Figured they just had to be worn in a little bit, but after a month of nonstop squeaking I brought it back. They took a look at them and replaced them again with a different brand and they work great. Whenever I get work done, they check in on me to make sure everything is working right. They are super considerate and I wont go anywhere else.

I went to this place to have a tire fixed and the service was like nothing I am used to... the guy at the counter was professional, honest, sincere and funny. I went back to have new tires put on another car I own and the costumer service, speed and quality were again far better than any other car related service experience I can remember. I was actually talked out of buying high priced tires that I did not need if favor quality at a much lower price. I imagine there might be other businesses around like this, but I have not found one...

Unfortunately, my husband and I have both had multiple car problems this summer. This place has been amazing, because they are honest about what needs to be done, provide upfront and reasonable pricing and never try to convince me I need to put more money into my car.As someone who knows nothing about cars I appreciate that they never take advantage of that. I moved away from Midvale but we still take our cars to them and will as long as we live in Utah.

Twice these guys have taken care of me for emergency trailer tires! Doug mounted my last tire himself because his techs were loaded with projects. The price is fair and the service both times top notch.

These guys are slow. They approved my car when it shouldnt of been as there was essentially a check engine light on but still passed my car. They caused more issues then they did fixing them. They dont really know what they are doing. They made it so my back tires were dragging and i had to take my car back 3x just for them to try and fix it. They couldnt fix my light that they serviced so I had to take to a real mechanic to fix. Dont recommend them at all!

I love these guys! They have the best service in town and the best prices. I am a single mom and always worried of being taken advantage of. I was told of these wonderful guys from my foster mom who found out from her brother, who found out from his step-daughter, who found out from her partner, who has her entire family using them. I was quoted a much higher price to fix my previous car and Craig and Doug quoted hundreds less. My parents have started using these guys. I can say I have sent over 15 friends and family over and we are all LIFE LONG customers. I would never use anyone else. They have helped me in the decision of a new car as well. The hospitality isnt the absolute best. Rude is too strong a word to use, its not really quite that bad just mildly off-putting. However they actually do car work and get it done very quickly both times Ive been there so Im more than satisfied with my experience.

Just driving through Salt Lake City on a trip and my car breaks down. Ill spare the details but the Dahle Mazda dealership right up the road was ready and wanting to just replace everything into the thousands. This is on a 2013 Mazda 3 that has always been kept in pristine condition no less. Decided to take it over to these guys after reading their reviews and they just blew me away! They were so gracious to test drive it several times and swap parts and check all over for issues and what did it end up being... a bad wire connection into a plug to the coil pack. Could easily giggle it and the engine would start its shaking. My only regret is that I dont live closer so I could give these guys all of my auto business from now on. Ive now lived, Ive met some truly hardworking and more importantly honest mechanics. Keep up the good work, you guys rock!!!

I had just gotten my van out of a different mechanics shop when I ended up stranded in Salt Lake with an overheated engine pouring coolant everywhere. I took it to these guys because they were close and I expected the worst. They had it fixed within about 2 hours and allowed me to leave it there overnight until I could get a ride to pick it up. The staff is super friendly and helpful, not to mention thorough. They didnt try and sell me anything I didnt need and in fact said I dont like to put parts on a vehicle without speaking to the owner first. It turned out to be a really simple fix, and they didnt even charge me a labor cost. I highly recommend them and will be using their services in the future even though it is a drive for me to get there.
