LOVED IT. Clean place, nice staff. No inside dining at the moment but there were tables outside. The hash browns were good, i like em crispier but good nonetheless. Extra points for having fresh doggie bagels for our pooches.

This is a great Einstein location. Friendly service and great bagels! Ive ordered a few different sandwiches and they were all made well and were delicious.

I stop in for breakfast every day as (a bribe) part of my morning walking routine. Ordering ahead with the app makes it really convenient. The folks that work there are super friendly and the food is great (Texas Brisket Sandwich 👍).

Food was great but service was extremely slow. I waited for about 10 minutes while employee just waited around standing and staring at the order board not actually taking initiative and making anything. There were only 2 simple orders infront of mine. 3 employees and only 1 assembling orders. Its just bagels and cream cheese it shouldnt take more than a few minutes.

This einsteins is the worst. It ALWAYS takes at least 30 minutes and they generally get the order wrong. Save yourself the trouble and go down the street a couple miles to a different location.

Super understaffed or uncoordinated. They didnt work well with each other. Didnt tell me they couldnt make a frap until I had already been waiting over 10 minutes for my order. The coffee they replaced it with sucked. You could taste the bagel in it. Not very impressed at all. Only good thing that redeemed it to 2 stars is the bagel was great!!

Nice location and facility. Still in COVID-19 layout - masks required, no eat-in and social distancing (a good thing), but expected, and they make it work well. Good selection of bagels (just wish they still made egg bagels 😕) and nice people on the staff. Also they have a good parking area so easy access and if you use their app to order ahead, quick in and out.

This is my favorite Einstein Bros Bagels location, not because of the great food, but the amazing customer service by TIM! I remember one time they messed up my order (it was a big order, and they were busy), where they forgot to give me my Blueberry Muffin, and the Smearfuls (filled bagel balls, think Munchkins from Dunkin Donuts) were rock hard (probably they didnt keep it in the oven long enough to bake). I called the store, and complained to Tim. He told me to come back next time and hell make it right. Next day, with my order he gave me 2 blueberry muffin and an order of Smearful well done.I come to Einstein Bros Bagels often, especially this location, because its conveniently located near where I live in downtown. The place looks ghetto from the outside (front and back), as it shares a shady parking lot with Dominos Pizza. But inside its clean and cozy; definitely one of the smaller Einstein Bros Bagels compared to the ones on 1300 South and 3300 South.I dislike how all the Einstein shops run out of the gourmet bagels by noon, and only have ones that you cant really eat a sandwich with (imagine Pumpernickel, French Toast, or Cranberry bagel with Egg or Tuna Salad-no thank you!). But the times they do carry my favorite bagels (Green Chile, Jalapeño Cheddar, Six Cheese, Spinach Florentine), which I usually pair with Spinach, Mushroom & Swiss Egg Sandwich, Albacore Tuna Salad Sandwich, Hummus Veg Out Sandwich, and the new Supernova Salmon Sandwich-theyre amazing! It comes with a Pickle or a side of (Fruit Cup, Chips, or Potato Salad), I always get the fruit cup. Most importantly, ask them to toast or warm the bagels, theres a world of difference in taste when its warm (Six Cheese!).As for sides, try their new Cheesy Hash Brown side, theyre good if you like baked cheesy potatoes; personally I prefer my potatoes non-cheesy. The Smearfuls are great too (comes in 1, 3, or 12), they have Cookies and Cream, French Toast, Plain, and Asiago-I only get Asiago now. As per drinks, I like their Cold Press with Vanilla Hazelnut creamer (thank you Tim for introducing it to me), it has the perfect balance between the bitter Cold Brew and the sweet Vanilla Hazelnut cream. I like their Lattes-Mocha or Caramel High Rise (a tad bit too sweet); I recommend a hybrid of both. If you want something cool, I like their Vanilla Cooler over their Chocolate or Caramel cooler (think Coffee Coolatta from Dunkin Donuts). Im not a big fan of their Strawberry Banana Smoothie, I think they should leave that to Jamba Juice.Ill still be coming here often, and recommend everyone to try out their Bagels-you wont be disappointed!

1- I had wanted to make a meal a combo. So the price was $3.29 for it. The cashier proceeded to charge me separately for a coffee and the hash brown on top of the bagel I ordered. I explained to the cashier that it was entered correctly but he laughed it off.2- I had a giftcard that had a balance on it. I handed it to the cashier and they said there was no funds. I paid out of pocket with my credit card and checked the balance of the gift card after and it said $15. I do not appreciate being lied to and feeling scammed.3- Did not require customers to wear masks

I have been working a few blocks from this location for 3 years, out of every Einstein’s in salt lake, this is by far the worst. There are 6 people behind the counter usually and I always have to wait 15+ minutes for my order. The Sugarhouse location is less than 5 minutes every time with half the staff. Does it take 6 people to make a bagel sandwich?? This is consistent regardless of how busy it is.

Not very friendly and 20+ minutes to get a begal is ridiculous wont be returning.

I’ve stopped in here a few times now. They’re always quick, accurate, fresh and clean.

This place used to get it right every time. The bagels were good, and the service was better. Theyve become lazy. They consistently forget to put extra ingredients on my bagels (I paid 2 extra dollars for bacon and the didnt put it on the bagel) and I cant go back to fix it cuz Im on my way to work. Ill be finding a new breakfast place. 1/10 would not recommend!

They prioritize uber eats and door dash orders over in store customers so the wait time for a bagel is like 30 mins. I have been here many times and had the same experience every time. I wrote this review while I was bored waiting for my bagel.

Good bagels and breakfast sandwiches. The lox schmear on a bagel is soooo, their good coffee is good well better than Starbucks at least .

In a pinch, this place will do. They are often understaffed but they hustle and they are friendly given the circumstances. I recommend the Santa Fe. The spicy sauce is delicious.

The cashier Lady was very rude and impatient when I tried to pick my order, after ordering my food I stood on my feet for 50 minutes waiting for my food as well as the other customers there is no seating anywhere and the kitchen hygiene is an embarrassment, I don’t feel welcomed here at all and won’t be coming here again I expect a refund for the horrible customer service never coming here again

I love bagels! I use to love this place but I feel like they don’t taste the same anymore. Makes me very sad! The staff is great, it’s just the bagels that I don’t like. Definitely going to a different place now.

I have been a customer for years and have mostly been pleased. But during the pandemic this year, this location on South Temple has consistently failed to enforce the mask mandate, despite the sign on their front door. I have repeatedly been at this store when customers were not wearing masks and management was not asking them to leave or put on a mask. I wrote to corporate about this several months ago. After many weeks, I received an email from them apologizing and asking me to give them another chance. I refused -- until today, and I felt that because Utahs COVID cases are so high that Einstein and store management would be taking it seriously. However, two customers inside the store while I was there were not wearing masks and no employee asked them to leave or put one on. The college-age men stood there talking freely to each other and on their cellphones. It has become quite clear that Einstein corporate and this stores management do not care about the health and safety or their customers or their employees. Ill stop patronizing the entire business for good.

Waited in no line for 20 minutes. No one said hi, can I take your order. Finaly left the place late for work.. Not sure how they can stay in business. Will go somewhere else that wants customers.

This location is not the best. Our order was deleted the first time. Our breakfast sandwiches were just slabbed together the shmear was all over, very messy. We also ordered a box of bagels and a co worker making pre orders took out some of the bagels that we had already had in our box to fill another order. Very disappointed experience. Will not go back to this location.

Did an online order this morning for breakfast, and not only did they forget to put shmear on both bagels, but they forgot parts of the order. Ill be going to the other locations from now on.

Waited for, not kidding, 25 minutes for our order of two toasted bagels with butter. Like we waited in the lobby after ordering for 25 minutes for them to toast and butter two bagels. They kept prioritizing to go and catering orders while the number of angry people in the lobby continued to grow. Never come to this location!

I noticed the steaming wand on the coffee machine had layers of disgusting off white colored left over milks, as a person who uses alternative milk this is a huge turn off not to mention a health violation. I was planning on getting a hot latte until I noticed that. I pointed this out to the employee and he said he would get right on it. There was a few people in front of and behind us so they did have a rush and I understand that customers come first so good job there. As we were walking out I heard the steaming wand but never noticed if it got cleaned before or not...

Good food and coffee, but service can be a little slow; I would avoid this location during peak hours. They are taking COVID precautions seriously, but the store is relatively small and I have seen it get busy and very crowded since they have blocked off most of the seating area.

Love the bagels. Silly no in person dining and the staff leaves a bit to be desired.

Ever since the location on 15th e closed, this location has been incredibly crowded and seemingly understaffed, resulting in a 20-30 minute wait time for two simple orders. the staff is clearly underwhelmed and while i’ve been here on multiple days at multiple times, they never have more than 4 people working the counter even with nearly 50 people waiting for their orders. i have no idea why that other location was shut down, but this one clearly needs an overhaul and more support from management. last time i waited 45 minutes because they forgot my order (they said it cancelled out of the system or something?) and as of right now, i’ve been waiting 35 minutes. management needs to hire more employees and and likely raise the hourly wage of those who they have on right now!

I made a DoorDash order more than one hour ago and I can see that my DD driver is been waiting there for almost one hour! The restaurant is extremely unprofessional and it’s bad for people who work with delivery and also for me. I just had one hour lunch time and won’t be able to eat anything when I get the food. I won’t recommend it!

Customer service good. Bagel selection was not what was ordered, unless you’re supposed to get different than what it describes, when you order the Monday dozen. Will visit another location next time and check bagels before leaving the lot.

Very slow preparers.

We have always enjoyed Einstein’s. When my kids visit from out of town it’s on the top of their go-to list. Today, though, was a different story. The case was about 2/3 empty and we weren’t acknowledged at all by the 2 employees. There were several people waiting for their food and one group at the register where the third employee seemed to be having a very difficult time getting an order rung up correctly. We ended up leaving.Edit: we returned the next day and things were much more organized.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been here in the past month and the service is just horrendous to say the least. My girlfriend and I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and a bacon avocado tomato sandwich today and it took them 10 minutes to give me the wrong bagel....which was a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Not to mention the fact that only one of the three people on staff wore gloves- the older woman who works there keeps her mask strapped under her chin, and constantly touches her face and mouth. Unsanitary, unclearly, unable to take orders properly. Please go spend your money somewhere else.

Worst place to order from. The (what I am perceiving as the manager) is very unprofessional. The younger kid in the store is completely rude, basically scolded my husband, for asking for the rest of our order. What was the answer we received when we asked. There were people in the store previously waiting, no communication to the status of their order..... everyone was ANNOYED and the employees did NOT care! No WAY will we be coming back.

Love the different varieties of bagels and the many ways to have sandwiches made from them.

I ordered a chocolate chip bagel with strawberry smear but ended up with a cinnamon bagel that was barely cut open. I unfortunately could not take the time to fix the issue as I had to get to work. I will probably not be returning to this location.

Food was fine, as always. Their covid procedures are not fine. 3 of 4 employees were wearing masks below the nose, making them pointless. Their contactless purchases actually cause more contact. You have to put your card in the same basket that everyone before you put their card into and the girl takes the card out of the basket with gloves that she doesnt change between customers (making them pointless also), then she puts the card back in the basket for you to grab take out. Just let us hand the card back and forth so it doesnt have to touch anything that everyone else touched. And ditch the gloves unless you plan on changing them after every customer like youre supposed to.

Called store to place an order as usual, the man who answered the phone yelled BAGELS into the phone and then silence. I asked if I could place an order and was told yes but to hang on. I could hear the man talking to other people then he hung up. Great customer service Einstein Bagels! We will not patronize your business after such an un professional experience.

Went to this location and ordered a sandwich and two bagels. I was the only person in at the time I ordered and then a few others came in and ordered. The person behind me received their order and it looked like maybe one bagel so I didnt think much about it, but then after the next three people in line had their orders and out the door before me I asked why mine hasnt been called. Once they knew which order was mine they were extremely rude and said call ahead orders are placed on this table! So I let them know I didnt call ahead and that I ordered it right there at the counter and they just shrugged. Then I look in the bag and one of the bagels has plain shmear which is not what I ordered so I ask and they say they dont have the shmear I asked for.....so they just put plain on instead of asking or telling me they were out? After all this the toasted bagels were cold and not even the proper order. I had to just ask for a refund and leave. Was at this location for about 45 minutes for all of this because they had to ring up the other customers first before issuing me a refund. I will NEVER be going back to this location!

Walked in to an empty store. There were a few beagles Available. I walked up to the order counter and was looked at by two employees. One was sweeping the floor. The other was talking about beagles coming out of the oven. I was ignored. They did not acknowledge my existence. Didn’t say just a moment. Just walked away. Apparently my money is not good enough.

I had a bagel and cream cheese shmear. There was so little cream cheese, if it had been spread on newspaper, you could have read that paper, through the shmear. 1 slice of tomato per side, open faced is embarrassing to even look upon.The employee taking my order was register-challenged as well. I have been a regular, if not frequent customer of this store. Only the coffee saved the day from a complete loss.

Pulled up at 5:40 am on a Thursday morning to see that the store was not open. No note on the door. Then I call and the guy says the manager is on a delivery run and he doesn’t know when she is competing back. Wow really? He is like I have a big order. Well obviously Einstein’s is more concerned on phone call orders but not their regular clients. Very poorly ran establishment. I also called another store and the manger was like I don’t know corporates number and I was like and your a manager for this company.

Good bagels. Slow service. Maybe the slowest service in Utah. Over the years regardless of the employees they never seem to be able to fix the issues. I consistently see customers leave because the employees are so slow. Slow to take orders, slow to take payment. The one thing they do right is make a decent bagel. Save time and go to a different branch. This one has a 5 customer per hour capacity.

Food quality is great and I love their sandwiches. BUT MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE.Ive been to this location 3 times and always have ordered the bacon and spinach with 2 eggs. 2 of the times there was no spinach and one time there was no bacon. I eat at the store so Ive been lucky that I wasnt home or at work when I realized it wasnt made correctly.They have always fixed it immediately but I is hard to believe it happens with such consistency. They dont even read back youre order.If they didnt have this issue it would be five stars for me. But at the time of this review is five star for the food but two for service

I love Einsteins...but I love bagels and cream cheese. Build your own combo of bagel and schmere (cream cheese) or choose one of their sandwiches. You can also get a coffee or other coffee drink.

The food was good as always from Einsteins but the customer service was terrible. They were too busy filling a catering order to have anyone taking orders or making food for customers in the store. There were about 7-8 of us that had to wait close to half an hour to get our orders. Poor staffing and management if you have a large order to complete. Ill never return to this location as there is another about a mile east which has always had great customer service.Also one I got my order is was sloppily thrown together and not well made, taste was still good but presentation was not good.

We have them deliver almost monthly to work. Its awesome. They arrive on time and set it all up. Our employees love it.

Avoid if you have peanut allergy. No probs at different Einsteins in the past, had the same honey wheat bagel with the reg whipped cream before. Had an allergic reaction to it in this store. :( Looked it up on the website, says peanut-free. Can only assume its cross contamination somewhere in the slicer or spreaders. Also, bathroom (customer and employee shared) was out of soap, which is how you get food poisoning. Normally, Im a 5 star, easy-peasy reviewer. But Id say this is one to avoid if you have allergies or a sensitive belly. Try the one near the U. Ive never had a prob there.

Einstein Bros. is probably the closest thing Ill get to a New York bagel here in the mountains. With fresh bagels made daily, a huge assortment of spreads to choose from and tons of options when getting a sandwich to take away, this place has my vote!

This location on South Temple is the underperforming location. The thought of good service at this location remains a thought. However, there is a new flower shop next door that has a lot to see and classes coming up on decorating. So over all, I was able to have a good experience nonetheless.

I had ordered a sandwich and bagel with smear the line was very long. It took them a very long time to check me out at the register. I add points on their app for a free bagel with smear they were not able to figure out how to redeem them so I ended up having to pay for it. I would not recommend this location if you are in a hurry or want a clean or friendly experience.

One of my favorite locations for EB. A couple other locations are not as friendly when it comes to how corporate sends coupons and just seem like they hate life.I look forward to having to work from my other office location, because i can quickly walk across the street and be in and out with my items. Thanks for always making my mornings great!

I just want to say that while there is a lot of turn over in staff here, yet they are all friendly and seem like they are enjoying each others company. The manager here, (short brown hair) is always very attentive. I notice when its busy that he comes to help and remembers my order.Thanks guys!

Here is a thought, most people who come in the am are stopping in to pick up something before work. After just sitting there in a line backed up halfway through the store, while I watched 2 employees kind of work and two employees wonder aimlessly not even acknowledging the backed up customers waiting, doing nothing to get them taking care of, I finally had to give up and go head to work with nothing to eat, because for those of us who have work ethic, your bagels are not so good that Im going to be late for work waiting a half hour to buy a bagel. Save yourself some time and go to The Bagel Project, they actually value their customers and their time

Truly terrible customer service, I was the only customer in the store and it took them over 5 minutes to greet me and take my order it’s like they were pretending I wasn’t there. I don’t recommend you come here if you’re looking for decent customer service or if you are in a hurry.
