I can only speak to a few beers but they were really good. Unfortunately no outdoor area but they have mask requirements inside. All the beer is bottled or in cans and it didn’t look like there were taps.

As you walk up, the aroma of fresh hop permeates the air. Small-ish tasting room, but large menu with a variety of styles. All pours are from bottle. Also, front of house is a well stocked bottle shop.

I admit I am from a state with FAR looser alcohol laws than Utah. I was in St. George and I went to the state store to find a beer or two. The Brainless beers looked good with Peach, Passion Fruit, and Raspberry flavors. I could not have been more wrong. To be clear, I like olives. But, when I am expecting a fruit/actual beer combination, taking a drink of what can only be described as olive brine is less that satisfying. I thought, at first, that maybe I had eaten something that threw my taste off. So I drank some water and waited a bit to cleanse my pallet. Again, I could not have been more wrong. All of the beers from the Brainless collection taste like the store brand green olives from your local grocer. Save yourself the disappointment. If you really want to taste these beers, go to your local grocer and buy some olives and let them ferment. That is exactly what this swill tastes like.

This is an exceptionally comforting place to tie one on. I may have been 86’d but I don’t hold it against the staff or the venue, they make a point of doing things with concerted attention to detail and pride in they’re job. I’ll miss this place.

All the beers I tried were quite tasty! It’s a small tasting room, and all the beers are bottled FYI. Carson was a great bartender, will definitely be back!

So I should say that I’m not a beer drinker. My friend is and I went with her, and this was my first time there.However I still had a good time! When you walk in you can either shop for the beer you want or they have a small sitting area with a bar tender where you can sit and taste for a bit. They have full size drinks or just samples. Even though I don’t like beer I still got a sample that I did enjoy. They have a small menu of salads and sandwiches. I got the turkey and apple sandwich, it was alright, cooked a little too crispy for my liking. The bar tender was really sociable and fun to all with. All in all, a nice little spot for a bite and tasting.

Staff inside is super friendly. Very knowledgeable about other breweries in the area. Can get beer to go even on Sunday. Can even get high point on weekends and Sunday. Very little seating if you want to come and eat. Only enough room for about five or six people to sit. The parking here is pretty tight and Very few places. Can’t tell you how the food is because we could not get a chance to get in and sit down and eat. Very few vegan options or vegetarian options here and menu is small.

Great little brewery, and I mean little. Theres a maximum 6 seats in the restaurant and thanks to Utahs liquor laws each person needs to order food to be able to drink. Or if you just want beer you can buy bottles and leave. So theres no tastings here without eating.We showed up and had to wait 20 or so minutes for two seats to open up. The samples are really cheap at $.50 to 1.65 or so each. You can have a max of two drinks in front of you at each time. One has to be finished before you can order another. Great selection of beers that are poured from bottles because they dont have taps.The food they serve is panini style grilled sandwiches or salads. The sandwiches were surprisingly really good. I had a turkey sandwich and the wife had one that had pulled pork in it. I didnt get the names of the sandwiches because it wasnt what we came for but they were really good.Staff is really friendly and we struck up conversations with them at other patrons. I would recommend checking this place out.

Awesome beer and you can get higher than 4.5%, so thats a bonus. Had the Baptist, Quad-Baptist, Baptist Reserve, and Oak and Orchard. Bar staff was awesome too!

Charmingly tiny taproom for Epic brewery. Two tables plus 10 bar seats and a 3 sandwich menu. Try the cubano. No drafts, all pours are from 22oz bombers so you can try all the amazing full strength brews. Bottle shop and gift shop in the same 400 sq ft taproom room carries 40 of their most loved beers.

A must stop before any party. The Baptist series is easily one of the finest imperial stouts you can get.

Wow! Great beer. Lots of options, lots of sizes. The purists will tell you that beer out of a bottle is the freshest way to drink beer.

We went and mostly drank samples. There was just too many fun flavors to choose from! The prices were great and the staff was super chill. We will definitely be going back to sample the rest of the menu. And buy some to bring home.

The staff currently allows one person at a time in the bottle shop however it is worth the wait. I received several recommendations and they were right on the mark for my taste. I found the staff friendly and accommodating.The service and selection deserve a five star rating. I can’t wait to revisit this brewery!

Tried a couple of different types of beers. The stout and a tropical ipa I had were great, the DIPA I had felt like it was just too hoppy without any other notable characteristics. Otherwise, great beers, great Cubans Sammie, board games, and the staff is awesome. A great spot!

Great beer selection, and for being such a small place, the food was good too. Keep in mind there are only 6 seats at the restaurant, so dont bring a big group.

Great variety of brews. The lagers and ales tended toward a sweetness that I dont generally enjoy, I can say that each brew had a very unique identity- not just more of the same. The IPAs were more in my wheelhouse.

Disappointed with only being able to buy to go but, looking forward to opening one of the bombers bought at salt lake city store .A very small place allowing one customer at a time but couples count as one.Bought 4 Limited edition few thousand bottles released. There beer has been good so my expectation is high.I did learn Utah taps are all 5 % but bottle and cans can be higher but, you buy that beer to go.----Just had a 1/ 2 glass of hopulent I p a part of elevated series. So so very good.

Finding quality craft beer in Utah isnt always an easy task. Fortunately, there is Epic Brewing. The small tap room is tucked away in the southern end of Salt Lake City and has just enough off street parking for visitors.The selection here is outstanding and they are very generous about opening a bottle even for a small 2 oz pour. I highly recommend this small pour route so you sample many of the outstanding beers available.

Amazing beer and staff!

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. The website said open at noon but when I arrived at 1:45, they had a paper on the door said open at 2 for the bar. The woman who was working there was unprofessionally dressed and told us to wait outside until 2, in the rain/snow.

Epic is a great local business and craft brewer. I am a frequent customer but am always treated like their first. Recently I came in and had lost my mask. The host in the store gave me one that I keep in my car. Great beer and great people. Not to be missed if you are in SLC.

The beer was good. Cuban sandwich was ok. Staff was friendly. Its very small.

Huge variety of beers and styles to try. The place is small, but we stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and had no trouble finding a seat at the small bar. The bartender was friendly and gave us a few recommendations for other breweries to try and a few hikes as well. We bought some bottles to go from the refrigerated case and they seemed reasonably priced. Go here if you want some delicious local beer, either to try and/or buy.

Very small drinking/dining area, but it was nice and personable. The beertender was super friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a soup and sandwich. It was served hot and fresh. It was delicious. The beer was really good too. I liked the fact that you could order samples of beer and try everything they have.

Totally awesome beers! One of the best breweries I have been too. Epic is small with limited menu items, BUT all of the items are fantastic. The bartender was excellent. There were 3 of us and we practically filled the place. Cant wait to go back.

Okay, so Im from Minnesota and the whole if its on tap it has to be less than 4% thing was quite a surprise, one I had no idea about until I came to this staples taproom. Epic makes great beers, and they had the whole lineup. The service was super welcoming and very efficient. The space is SUPER SMALL so I was lucky to get seated as you have to have a seat and order dinner in order to drink (Utah!). I loved everything about this place. The bottles on sale in the adjacent room are very reasonably priced, the space is comfortable and the people are wonderful. I had many enjoyable experiences in Salt Lake City, but this was one of the best.

The food is great, the beer is even better! I have had a great experience every time I come in. Angelina and Carson are outstanding bartenders/servers. I recommend this place to anyone who claims to love craft beer. You wont be disappointed.

Came for the tour. It was short and sweet. Great place. Never tried a beer I didnt like. Zach, our bartender was very knowledgeable and personable. He was always happy to pour samples. Very kind person indeed. The girl that took us on our tour was energetic and fun to talk to.We wound up buying a full 12 pack of beers because they are so good and we live in WY. This was a great place to come tofor our 10 yr wedding anniversary. I will definitely tell everyone how great your beer is!

Are you from out of state? Have you only experienced the ok draft Utah beers you can get everywhere else? Prepare to have your taste buds illuminated. Epic brewery bottle tasting room is really a fantastic experience. We went in for a visit when our flight was delayed several hours and had many samples and the variety and flavor was incredible.

3.2 beer should not exist but your session IPA does in our Utah grocery stores and it is not displayed as such on your 12 pack. Totally watered down IPA at a premium price. Pure rip off tasteless beer.

Awesome selection of well crafted beers! Visited from Colorado and everyone was very knowledgeable. Went on a Thursday night around 8 and the 6 tables were full. Can buy bombers to go or must eat food to drink here. Good to call ahead.

A small brewing company serving up a huge range of flavor.They have a sampling room at the brewery but be warned you better come hungry. Because of licensing issues in Utah you have to order something to eat to try samples. Sample prices are really good 40¢ to $1My suggestion is that you come in to try once but sign up to buy

Sure the space is small but what an incredibly personal and intimate tasting experience! Youll forget youre in Utah. Good food to accompany the samples and what fantastic beer! Crisp and delicious.

I wish there were two ways to rate businesses. The beer was wonderful and the selection was huge. So I’d give 4-5 stars...But one employee can ruin an experience and the rating for the business. The bartender was horrible. This is not a normal brewery where they pour from a tap but for a bottle. Maybe that something she should explain especially when you say you’ve never been there before etc. like making a newcomer welcome etc. the place was busy when I got there. She would come check out the bar for five seconds then turn around and go in the back and hang out and be gone for a while. I could see thru a small window she was just standing there talking. And many people sitting at the bar were already irritated for the same reasons. My intentions were to plan my day while I sat and had a couple beers. I had one and sat for a while with an empty glass while she was in the back and decided to just leave when she finally came and gave me my bill. She could tell I was irritated and made the comment yeah it’s just not a happening place. I bit my tongue although I should’ve said it was because of her. I am now at a different brewery. Hopefully management will see this review and get rid of her LOL. Ruined my experience I have to say.

The overall experience was terrible. The grill was over heated and caused a burning scent throughout the small room. The restrooms were nasty which seemed the staff had time to take of but she verbally stated she did not want to do more work. The sandwich machine did not work and we saw more guest come in and not be greeted.I could not wait to leave!

Very small tasting room, but worth the visit! Very good beer. Several different styles to choose from, and all were well done. You have to order food to drink the beer (UT law), but that was probably a good idea too. I would definitely come back!

Im not a beer guy. This place has very good local beers. Its the type of place I like to take out of townees to show that Utah is not what they expect.Word of warning when drinking the high % beers, 2 will put you to sleep. They work better than a sleeping pill.

Great brewery one of the few places in SLC where you can get a decent stout.

Friendly staff! I took some friends here that were visiting from out of town. They have some great selections! The seating area is pretty small, but we had a great time overall!

Damn fine beer, and a delicious grilled cheese, served by damn fine people. Camron was very knowledgeable about the beers and very easy to talk to. Everyone there was very friendly and happy!
