The service department at Land Rover Downtown Salt Lake City is fantastic. Their work and attention to detail explains their full book of service. If you need service on your Land Rover or Jaguar this is your go to location. Adam is particularly awesome. I haven’t t had a chance to work with another service professional at this location, but if they approach Adam’s professionalism and support, which I suspect they do, there cannot be another dealer that can approach what LRDTSL has to offer.

I have put off buying a new vehicle due to the experiences I have had in the past. I was not looking forward to the process. I have been looking for a few months at different dealerships. From the time I walked in to LandRover downtown and Zayne asked me if he could help- I was sold on his authenticity and helpfulness. I test drove multiple vehicles over two days time and truly feel that I received a great deal in addition to having all of my questions answered. When I first called Ken Garff I was surprised at the level of service received and the efforts trying to jump my dead Land Rover. When the tow truck arrived, the driver and I looked for a second battery as informed by the service tech at garff. No serving battery and car was towed away by tow truck. My car was at KG for three days with no communication from service until I called and was told dead battery and $450 to replace. After battery was replaced, nothing in the car was returned to accurate condition, clock, calendar, auto windows etc. you are the mfg rep and should know to update those items after a new battery install. Not very happy with KG
This place is a complete joke. I looked at two cars that they dont even have on the lot or available. They post cars online and then take their sweet time getting the business done. I did the paperwork for a car on Saturday, it is Thursday and the car is not ready. The sales person is in training? Please, apparently customer focus is not their PRIOTITY.This dealership asked me to remove my review. NO - it takes resolution to an issue to have influence of my comments.
It was my very first time car shopping and car buying. Kori and Jeremy made the whole situation stress free and super easy. They were so friendly, so knowledgeable and very relatable. The general manger, Garret Fram got greedy after wasting my whole day. Once i finalized the car, arranged financing he went up 20K on the price saying it was a mistake and he simply apologize. Mistake that has been posted online for over 7 days on multiple websites and only gets talked about when we are discussing shipping and finalizing paperwork. I was not expecting this from a land rover dealership.He even lied to me over the phone saying car is being serviced as we speak but i saw it ready to be delivered. Horrible experience and a total waste of time.

I was extremely frustrated. I purchased here and love my car, I had a alarm for engine go off that said I immediately should get into the service. I had a need for car on weekend and all they said is come in August 10th, a month and few days later are u kidding me. I couldn’t believe it. Not drive my car for a month, and to top off if I did it could void my warranty. Unreal!

I scheduled my service for my velar and also ordered tires and an alignment. I live 2 1/2 hours away. When i arrived at the dealership i was told they didnt have the tires in stock but could have them the next day. I always thought that when you made an appointment for something that a professional would have everything ready for that appointment. Apparently i was wrong. I will never buy an overpriced foreign car again. I will buy local at Labrums in Heber. These guys could learn alot about quality service from them.

I dont live close and had to make many trips for them to just look at something and more trips for a minor fix. Also prior to my purchase they were unwilling to work with me, even though I made the 45 min trip to get there, which was my 3 rd trip there already. Unless you love the car, I DO NOT RECOMEND

This is an update on my first review. Lindsey fixed the car fax report and kept me updated the whole time. She went out of her way to make me feel like they cared.Old Update. The service was really good and they were very nice. My car has 38k miles on it and they put 28k down twice (Because I had to return the car because they didnt fix the problem.) so on my carfax it is showing Manipulated Miles. I called and theyre in no hurry to fix their mistake even though I am selling this car and cant because it looks like I messed with the odometer.

I was very disappointed in this dealership and their customer service. First of all when my spouse and I arrived not one single person greeted us; It wasnt until I sat in the make and model I was interested in purchasing that we were approached by Chase, one of the sales representatives. I had to introduce myself, and the first thing he was interested in was how much money we had to put down on the vehicle I was interested in. I have never been greeted at any dealership in this manner, and I have purchased fifteen vehicles over a ten year span. Chase didnt inquire about my vehicle preference or budget. I relayed that I was interested in purchasing a Range Rover Evoque around $50K, and was hoping to keep the monthly payments around $700. However, I knew walking in to the dealership that my payment may be closer to $900 a month because of my knowledge of vehicle pricing and financing, but if I would have absolutely loved the way the Evoque drove I would of paid that. I have excellent credit and a monthly budget that allows for this type of payment. Chase didnt even attempt to make a sale even though he had stated, Id love to sell you a car since I get paid by selling cars not hourly. Chase also wouldnt allow us to test drive an Evoque and his parting comments were As we in the car industry like to call it, we are giving you the broom. I found this highly disrespectful and very unprofessional. I came to this dealership based on the reviews I read online, and walked out very disappointed. My spouse and I decided to go to Strong VW a couple blocks down the street. We were greeted right away, and the sales representative, Jay, immediately inquired about our interests. We received excellent customer service and walked out about two hours later in a brand new 2017 white VW Touareg Wolfsburg Edition, which cost about the same as the Range Rover Evoque. Needless to say, we are very grateful for the poor customer service Chase provided because we are now the owner of a vehicle that has overall higher ratings than the Range Rover Evoque. We will never purchase a Land Rover or recommend this dealership to any of my colleagues, friends, or family members. As for my parting comments, NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.

I dont recommend buying any of the Range Rover Evoques. Mine is 2013 low miles now needs the turbo repaired. Reading about this issue apparently they dont want to do a recall on turbos even though many people who own these types of vehicles end up needing to replace the turbo. Some people need it replace even at 30k miles. Do your research before buying. Also know the turbo is very expensive to replace. I wish the owner would take ownership on this issue.

My wife had been looking for a Jeep Compass Trailhawk for some time and they happen to have a used 2018 in stock. We went down to look and test drive and was greeted by Jeremy and Kori, both of which was very helpful and nice. My wife loved the Jeep and so we worked on the price. Was able to get it for fair price. It had some small dents which they had them repaired. A few days later of owning the Jeep, Jeremy called to see how we liked the Jeep and if everything was going good with it. I told him I noticed two more dents and they repaired them also at no charge. Though it was one of the cheaper cars on the lot, we were treated with respect. Very pleased with the outcome and the overall experience. Thank you Jeremy and Kori! We’ve been working on purchasing a car through this dealership from out of state. The process was very streamlined, Jeremy was our salesman and he is FANTASTIC! The process itself was very simple, and I was able to do it all from the comfort of my own home at my own computer. They kept me in the loop with service and shipping updates, and followed up with me afterwards to make sure it arrived on time, undamaged, and that I was happy with my purchase! My new Cadillac XT6 arrived and was absolutely beautiful, just as it was in the pictures and videos! I purchased a beautiful Range Rover HSE just 2 days ago from Jeremy with a tremendous amount of help from Kori. I must give a lot of thanks to Jeremy for the patience he has had with me. Six months ago I was looking at a Velar with the help of Jeremy and after a couple of weeks, and on a whim, I purchased a different brand vehicle. I had the car for a few weeks when it was deemed a total loss after an accident. I waited a couple of months and after looking at new cars again I wanted to return and talk with Jeremy. He welcomed me back and I knew the instant I saw the car it was what I wanted. It is beautiful and I am now in a very safe vehicle. Disappointed in the shutdown of the Centerville location and move to Lehi, a snub to us northern Utah customers. Recently requested a service appointment for something as simple as a tire rotation for my 2019 Velar and was told 2-3 weeks out. Unacceptable!

This is a long read, I applaud you if you make it to the end. If youd like the Cliffs Notes they are as follows: Love my Range Rover Velar - WHEN IT WORKS. When it doesnt work, there are regular recalls and problems and service appointments are far out and loaners are a fairy tale. They dont always diagnose and fix the right problem, so drive with caution - you cant be sure your car will start next time you want to drive it (hope you dont have appointments or obligations). They may or may not wash your car after service and they may or may not actually put everything back together (most recently, they left my engine cover in my trunk - you know, because they didnt know and Im expected to replace it myself). Buyer beware: after your awesome sales person gets you in to the car, just hope you dont have issues because the service department doesnt operate like the sales team.Although I purchased my Land Rover Range Rover Velar at the Centerville (now Lehi) location, I have had the majority of my service take place at this downtown location. I have many problems with my car, most recently Ive been stranded three times in the last thirty days - twice in my 2019 vehicle and once IN THEIR LOANER. As if being stranded regularly and worrying every time I get in my car that Ill be stranded again isnt enough, the service from the Service Department is sub par, at best.When my car wouldnt start 9/29 I was told my starter was bad - weird, considering the car is a year old. So they replaced it, and a few weeks later I was left stranded once again. Turns out it was never the starter and it was something else that they didnt catch because theyre not thorough. In the meantime, I was left stranded in the loaner they managed to round up for me (they are always weeks out on service appointments and even farther out on loaners). When I called, on a Saturday, to let them know the loaner wouldnt start no one asked if I was ok, in a safe spot or needed a ride, simply the sales GM told me service is closed today so the best I can recommend is that you call Roadside Assistance. So not only was I stranded, but the expectation was that I should take more time out of my day to get them their broken down loaner. Unbelievable. To add insult to injury, the following Monday I was told yeah the loaner started right up for us, not sure why you had a problem. Oh, ok... I was probably starting it wrong... yeah right.This was my third Land Rover, and my very first brand new car. I never had problems with the first two (purchased elsewhere) but I have had so many issues with this one Id never buy another Land Rover vehicle and cant wait to be done with this garbage lemon car.

Kyle was great in explaining the paper work and going through all of the workings of the new 2019 model. I’ve driven Range Rovers for the past 20 years. I would highly recommend this dealership! Each person I met and worked with when signing the papers were professional and friendly.Definitely 5 stars!!!....or more if they had them!!
My experience with these guys was great.Car buying is scary and Kori and Carson never made me feel pressured to make any decision. I really just felt like they wanted to do all that they could to help me find what was best for me and at the best price. Would highly recommend working with them if you’re looking to get a car. The place is clean and the employees that weren’t even working with me were friendly and had a sense of humor that put me at ease. Great place.
I worked with Kori and she was kind, warm, professional, and a great communicator. She didn’t push too hard, but was informative and helpful. She even gave me tips as I was looking at other cars on how to best compare. She also followed up after my purchase to make sure everything was going well. I loved working with her and with her manager and the dealership!
I ordered a few bespoke cars through Kyle. He made sure every detail was attended to, he walked me through how to improve the builds and was phenomenal at communicating with me. What’s more, the cars arrived sooner than expected! I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience with Kyle and he’s earned my family and lifelong customers.
Update (most recent at top): Took the Discovery in for service. Thus far, from scheduling, to arranging alternate transportation, to performing the service, to following up on it, they have definitely gone Above and Beyond. Hopefully they will keep it up.Update: Got a call from Will, the General Manager. Im glad they quickly paid attention to this incident and reached out. Bumping up 2 more stars for the good will. The fifth will have to be earned with future quality of service.Original review:Took the Discovery in for an oil change because the service light said it was time. Left and had to return a week later because they forgot to reset the service indicator. A few months later went in for a second oil change. A week after that the light was back on because they forgot to reset it. I called and asked if I could reset it myself or take it to a closer Ken Garff dealer instead of driving 40 miles for it. Lady said that since it was such a high end vehicle the procedure had to be done at a Land Rover service center. Googled it, so let me save you a trip: ignition on, open driver door, pop the hood, press gas and break simultaneously for 60 seconds, ignition off. Youre welcome! LR should share this with their technicians.
We purchased a pre-owner discovery. The experience we had with Cori and Jeremy was hands down amazing! From the first time we contacted them 2 months ago until the purchase was complete. The transaction was easy and smooth. We drove away feeling like family. We felt like they knew us and what our needs were in purchasing a vehicle that fit our lifestyle. Jeremy was absolute stellar to work with. Im not into the car salesman type. I called. Discussed my intentions about a car I had seen listed on their website. He was able to get me a price on that car, a value on my trade in, and approved extremely quick. I then was unable to meet at our scheduled time due to conflicts at home. Jeremy then drove the car to me, we signed papers, and he took the car I was trading in, back to the dealership. He went above and beyond in every way. Kori, who helped with the financing had everything ready for all this to happen in time for delivery. I would recommend both Jeremy and Kori to anyone looking for a better car buying experience than you get at most dealerships. Ill be back to buy again when we purchase. Thanks again!
