Bought a CPO vehicle from this dealership from out of state. Initially, the experience was great. During the purchase, pictures and videos of the car were sent, included accessories etc. Having been a CPO, its required to meet certain guidelines from Mercedes or so I thought. When questioned prior to purchase of car condition, no physical damage was ever mentioned. The car was shipped (dealer selected transportation company) and sent to me. Car arrived completely covered in dirt - to be expected on a large trip, no worries. It being a high end CPO, why was it shipped on an open carrier? Upon inspecting the car, the extra set of winter tires (which dont even fit the car), were thrown in the back seat in thin plastic bags. The tires were wedged into place damaging the leather, coating the seats in black dirt (white interior leather by the way). Further, upon inspection of the outside of the vehicle, rear end paint chips and scratches were found. Even worse, someone had tried to cover the damage with incorrect touch up paint. I read the inspection report from the transportation company and they had found the same damage I had just found, prior to shipping. I continued to find physical damage, horribly scratched rims, dented speaker grill, scratched center console, scratches on inside of one the passenger windows, and moisture inside both the headlights. Sent all the damage to the sales person at the dealership and got a $250 check for a detailing but otherwise they told me to go pound sand and havent been any help since. Filed a formal complaint with Mercedes USA and was told manager would reach out, they never did. Cant believe this was the Mercedes experience I received. Completely disgusted with the overall experience and would not recommend buying from them.Update 2/10/20: After finally receiving some form of contact from management seen below, a month has now gone by after a direct email was sent to the manager with no response period. To continue the down right awful experience Ive had, I received a call last week from the dealership stating that they wrote the title wrong and now is my problem to fix. This organization is a joke.

Salesperson saw and hid a defect (admitted it to us) with vehicle, Sales manager sent email saying they would take of it at no cost to us. After weeks of stalling went back on his offer after getting cost of repair. Have all of it in emails. Now will have to go to court to have repair paid for. One of their values on website; HONESTYWe keep our commitments, tell the complete truth, and act with integrity.We are never hypocritical and are honest with each other and ourselves. We are trustworthy in every aspect. We speak up if we see something wrong or unethical. We listen, even when the truth is hard to hear.Emails down below.
Purchased an AMG from this dealer that could not even be unloaded from the truck upon delivery. Now the vehicle is at a different dealer for the last two days and no one could care less. This dealer has been as close to useless as one can be and they told us to deal with the local dealership. Excuse me but we havent even taken delivery of this vehicle and they have already tried to pawn it off like it is our issue. Lots and lots of lies over the last couple of days and just dont see how we resolve this without attorneys and them taking the vehicle back since they have now breached the contract (taken wire transfer and not delivered the product). Good luck if you deal with them and I would not pay them upfront for anything - just my opinion. We sent a wire in good faith and wish that we had not.

I dont recommend any one to see MB salt lake cityTo all customers watch your car when you take to MB salt lake city for a service they are not honest.Last month I brought my car to your dealership to replace my windshield and I replaced my 4 tires which I pied you almost $3000. Mark didn’t mentioned to me my B service is gonna expired. He didn’t explain anything to me at all. I believe in the beginning of May I contacted Mark to schedule an appointment for B service he told me they are not having any date available until June 15,2021 he never mentioned to me like my service B will expire. Which I payed $789 for the service. Yesterday when I arrived at the dealership he said I have to pay again for service. Sean and Mark are not honest at all.
Our experience purchasing a new GLE350 was perfect! We were in the dealership having service performed on our GLC300 and we were walking through the showroom when Kirk (salesperson) asked if we needed anything. We mentioned we were just there for service, yet he still offered us waters and told us to have a great day and if there was anything else, he would be happy to help.While sitting in the amazing waiting room, we thought maybe Kirk could run some numbers on trading in our lease for a new vehicle. When we approached him, we instantly became his focus. He listened to what we needed and immediately found a few solutions. He then promptly showed us a few vehicles that would meet our needs. Once we settled on a vehicle the process was super efficient. We had a deal in no time.Moving into finance was painless. Rossi was extremely professional and efficient, yet very personable and friendly. She has the process nailed down. We were in and out in no time.This dealership is hands down one of the best. I purchase new vehicles every couple of years and this was an outstanding experience. We were not planning on getting a Mercedes. In fact, we were going to see a Land Rover to replace ours. We met with Rossi and she was great! She asked if we were interested in looking at a comparable MB, and we did. She was great at understanding what we were looking for and was willing to find it the best she could. When we went back, there were 2 vehicles we were interested in and before anyone bought them, she grabbed both keys so that we could decide if these were the cars we wanted. 0/2-Service and Parts department failuresWe had our G-Series transmission serviced, we stated that the drivers side front tire had a leak. Car was returned dirty and had a low tire pressure warning less than 5 miles from dealership. Questioning how well the transmission was serviced. Called for a small consumable part and was told it was in stock. Drove to the dealership only to be told the part was not in stock.MB of Salt Lake will not get any of our business from here on out.
These guys are the absolute best. I needed something done ASAP on my ML350 and the other dealerships would only make an appointment 2 weeks away. These guys squeezed me in and had me back on the road in an hour. They went way above and beyond what I was expecting. The parts department is also excellent. A few years ago, I bought a Mercedes factory roof rack from them and it was cheaper than the Thule or Yakima aftermarket racks. Most of the parts I get from them are about the same as I can get them online, and I dont have to wait for days.

Riley Hunter was a great salesman, had everything ready upon arrival and had a great balance between dealership and customer. Appreciated him not playing the back and forth between customer and sales manager. Told him my expectations and he respected them and actually got a better deal than I thought I would get. He made a great experience out of buying a car. Larry Miller could benefit from lessons in customer experience...take that back, you guys will be number one. Their car had more options, but you guys have my business and referrals.

I bought a used vehicle from Dave Laccoarce, from out of state, and had probably the best dealership experience Ive ever had. The vehicle I got was somewhat hard to find, and just came in on trade a few days prior. Dave sent me a video walkaround, we worked out a very fair price with an easy process to hold the vehicle, and he even picked me up from the airport while also accommodating a 2.5hr delay on my departure. The vehicle was exactly as expected, drove perfectly and I was out the door very quickly with no funny business from Dave or the Finance Director. A+ guys, keep it up. And it wasnt until we were almost done that I mentioned Ive worked in dealerships (all departments) for a good part of my life. Highly recommended!

We just recently moved to Draper and we are so fortunate to have found Ken Garff Mercedes for Salt Lake City as the experience of buying certified used Mercedes GL 450 was second to none.We first were introduced to Jhonathan who showed us the cars we were interested in and helped us to get the SUV we were interested in. The condition of the cars and the fair prices let us to buy it immediately without having to look any further. Aaron in finance was also awesome and we really appreciate his help in getting the good rates we needed to close the deal. We would not hesitate to send any friends or family to this dealership in the future to buy their Mercedes.
If the techs didnt stand around on their phones it might not take 6 plus hours to diagnose amd fix an issue on a vehicle.
Im honestly shocked there are any good reviews on this site. I bought my GLE 43 AMG Coupe from this dealership with full factory warranty on it and it turned out to have a blown speaker. Not only did they basically say tough luck they tried to tell me they knew what I was talking about and that was the way it was supposed to sound. Never mind the fact its only the passenger front speaker having the issue and all the others sound fine. Their explanation leaves two possible scenarios. Either Mercedes sells you blown speakers or their speakers are just that awful and you definitely should not buy their vehicles or this dealership doesnt check their cars are up to reasonable standards when they sell them to you. The entire point of buying from a dealership in my opinion is to have issues like this handled appropriately. Its not like there was any length of time from when I bought it and when I complained about it. I literally called the next week to complain and told them I would be into their service department on my next visit expecting them to fix it which they refused to do.

Overall it was a great experience. I worked with Jhonathan to buy one of their used cars and he was easy to work with and didnt push in anyway. He addressed any issues we had with the car and we came to a great agreement on price and conditions. The only issue I had was I waited around longer than I would have liked, otherwise I have nothing bad to say.
Because my dad and I have always had great experiences, we dragged my grandpa (who was absolutely adamant he would not buy a Mercedes) into the dealership for a look. Jodi had the car pulled up and clean when we got there and it was a done deal before my grandpa even looked inside the vehicle. Jodi and Aaron were so great to work with and they even surprised my grandpa with a bow on the car as he is turning 80 this week. You guys (and other dealerships) are making it hard to go on loving the Mercedes brand. I called in to get a simple quote, but no one has called me back. I have figured out over the years that this is what the dealerships do. Heck, even the companys care line will not call you back. If I end up getting a call back for my quote I will remove this review, but so far I am slowly starting to realize Mercedes isnt all its cracked up to be. They care about people who will get bank loans and drop them a ton of cash all at once. They do not care about the later model warriors out here on the roads helping keep the company going by spending a small fortune on Genuine Mercedes parts. And I will be writing into corporate about my experience for what its worth. Yeah, I get that over time it is probably apparent that handing out random quotes over the phone isnt always worth the time. But here is why it is. I explained to the person I called how important it was for me to get this quote. Someone like me, down the line, actually would be a person who would come buy a car from you. But when stuff like this happens, I probably wont, at least not here. I told the same thing to the operator at the service department at the Farmington dealership. So someone can tell me the part price but not how many labor hours? Not even when I explain how important it is for me to know this? I live pretty far away. I might just buy an Audi or BMW next instead.

Absolutely fell in love with a mini cooper on the lot and the sales manager Tyler sold it out from under me. Told me he would sell it to me for a great price and then backsteped and said he wanted to make more money on it and wouldnt sell it to me for another week (due to an optional store policy). He sold the car to someone else the night before he was willing to sell it to me. Been looking for a year and havent ever seen a deal that good, so missing out on this due to poor customer service is very upsetting.

Can I just say worst experience walking in to a dealership. Who do you guys think you are for working here? Something better? I think something your employees missed in thier sales training was to treat every customer the same, no matter how they looked especially their skin color. My mother went in to purchase a vehicle here and was greeted by the worst receptionist ever. She was snotty and talked like she was the owner of the place. She couldnt help my mother because she had an appointment, which alright thats understandable but you dont say it as if it was an inconvenience just to talk to us. This receptionist sent my mother over to other salesman, and they thought all we wanted was to drive the cars around. No sir we were there to purchase a vehicle. Now we understand maybe at this dealership you need to make an appointment before coming in, but dont treat new customers like they are below you. To the manager of this place, how about you teach your employees to treat each customer with respect. What? You thought because we have an accent or didnt come in dressed very very nice we couldnt afford one of your cars? Im sorry but I will make sure to let anyone that asks me about where to get their new car to go anywhere elsebut your dealership!

I dropped my car off for B service on a Thursday so service could be completed by Monday. They didnt start my service till I went in on Monday morning for pick up, so I to waited all day even tho they knew it was a weather day and I had 100 miles to travel home. I completed the survey with all the details with no response. The least they could do was offer a discount? swag? anything? Mercedes Benz is supposed to be the best of the best?

The staff here are all very nice and quick to update me with what is going on with repairs, I am only leaving a less than 5 star review because when I brought in my car that I had just bought days earlier at another Mercedes dealership, instead of letting me know I needed to bring it to the place of purchase for something to be covered under warranty they fixed it at this location and I was charged just short of $600. After the fact everyone is telling me I should have taken it back to Draper... but why didnt they tell me that before they let me spend almost $600? In the meantime they have fixed a couple other things under warranty at this location, so Im left out $600 and still have no idea when I will be told which dealership I need to go to god forbid there is ever another issue with the car. Otherwise they really are great to deal with.
I don’t write reviews too often, but I was so happy with the service provided by Jhonathan Santos at Mercedes-Benz SLC that I had to say something! I bought a pre-owned car from Johnathon, and he was so easy to work with. He seems very authentic and straightforward…not the typical car salesperson I used to dread working with back in the day.I got the car I wanted for a really good deal, and a good trade in. I could turn around and sell it for more than I bought it for right now….but I won’t because I love it! It was quick and painless. Jhonathon is super nice, easy going and professional. I found a used Toyota online after hours, and went by to look at it. The next day I called Lanett in sales about scheduling an appointment to drive it, Lanett had the car washed for me at my request because it was filthy and I needed to see what the paint looks like. The test drive and inspection went as I expected, I made an offer and negotiated with the sales manager, he was ready to lose the $26,000 deal over a $50 price difference, so I gave in, so he could keep his job. Financing was very quick, very easy, but Man Buns, at a Mercedes dealership? Im officially old! After I got the car home I noticed one of the headrests was missing, I called and asked Lynette if she would check to see with the original owner if it was still available, not only did she get me the missing headrest, she also got me a trailer ball receiver from the seller. If you want a nice, helpful, no pressure, sales person, that will do what you ask, call Lanett.

Bought a used BMW here before purchase the experience was great but after the purchase not so good, all i can say is i wish i had bought my car somewhere else. Before i made the purchase i asked my sales person Eric multiple times if the car has any oil leaks and i was assured there is nothing wrong with the car and he said if the car had any issues it would not be sold by Mercedes and be sent to the auction. My biggest mistake i took his word and bought the car same day took it home 4 days later took it into the shop to get it inspected to find out the car was leaking oil. Called in and told my sales guys what we found first he denied and said there was no oil leaks when their tech looked at it and it might have happened after i boughtbthe car. No way that leak was fresh there was dirt and debris all around the hoses and other parts. Later when i sent pictures of the leak he said oh this much leak is very common we see it all the time and told me not to worry about it i asked him if he is going to do anything to help fix it, he told me there is nothing i can do. I am taking my car into BMW this week to get it fixed. Not going to make this mistake again.
