My old Komatsu forklift developed a diesel fuel leak. I called Intermountain Lift Truck and they said they would send someone out to give us an estimate to repair. The dispatcher did not tell me there was a charge for the estimate. The technician came out and spent 15 to 20 minutes. He said he would get back to me with an estimate. I received a repair estimate on what it would cost to repair the leak and whatever else he recommended be replaced/fixed for 11,240.20. He recommended we replace the pump injector which was a majority of the cost, 4,995.64. I decided to look into the issue further and not have the repair completed right away. Intermountain Lift Truck then sent me a bill for 217.66 for their time to give us the estimate. Over an email, I told them I thought that was outrageous and would never use them, but they did not budge on the bill. Upon further investigation and calling other companies, I realized that the pump was leaking through the shut off/start quantity lever. I pulled off the lever and found out the O-ring was just leaking. I found the O-ring that needed to be replaced and it cost me 20 cents and 20 minutes to replace. The forklift is no longer leaking any fuel. I am a business owner and I certainly understand that companies need to be paid for their time. However, I am also in the service industry and I would never charge or let one of my employees charge a customer 217.66 for an estimate to repair something. I do not like writing negative reviews (and have frankly never wrote one), but I felt the need to in this case.

Nick and his team have been business partners of ours for close to 20 years. My strongest review and recommendation is the length of time I have chosen to trust ILT with our equipment. My review is also based on the multiple facets of their company I use and rely on. We run many trucks, fork lifts, extensive hydraulics and rental lifts. I appreciate the speed, quality and integrity of ILT. Nick and his team are responsive. I value the relationship I have Nick and his shop. Our fleet runs safer, and what is that worth ? Highly recommend ILT, Nick and his team. Also, Cliff, our onsite service tech is second to none.. He is the best.

I got a quote to install a roll up door that I already owned on my moving truck $450-550. The first red flag should have been when they initially told me a tech could come to me to do the installation then last minute changed it to their center.After that, the service manager was shocked it was a roll up instead of a swing out door. It was a trim to fit door and on the 2nd day of the installation I got a call saying that the hardware was taking longer to drill than expected. Thats understandable, however I later got a call that the door didnt fit and that they would have to sand the door. In actuality it appears they started sanding and decided to use a saw instead.. and because they didnt measure before beginning work, now I have an extra set if holes on every panel. I told them it was a trim to fit door, and thats why the hardware was only on one side of the door.After all is said and done it cost 1500, 3xs the original bid. The thing Im most disappointed is that I expected them to be experts in this type of work, but their lack of attention to detail and the way they over promised and under delivered is frustrating and I wont use them again or recommend them to anyone.

I have been doing business with intermountain lift truck for over 10 years now. The team there is very responsive and always gets to the heart of the problem for me. They are versatile in their abilities to take care of a wide range of repairs for me. They have even taken care of my overhead doors in the warehouse. I give them high marks all the way around. A great group of people to work with!

We spent nearly $4000 having them repair our forklift. The service was incredibly slow and repairs were so bad we had to have HOJ come fix some of the things Intermountain had done. The tech was so incompetent even other techs within the company said he was incompetent. I spoke with Craig about getting a refund for some of the issues. He said he would call me back but put me off and never called me back. When I called to see what he had come up with he said they were busy with month end things and he hadnt had a chance to discuss it with whoever else needed to be involved. Call HOJ.

Its not how you handle easy situations that counts! These guys showed us today what they can do in hard situations. We rented a forklift and have done business with this company a ton. We were at there mercy in need of a forklift to set up in an RV show! They LITERALLY pulled every rabbit out of there hat to help us get what we needed to make it happen!I was COMPLETELY SHOCKED HOW FAST THEY HAD US HANDLED. AND EVEN HUNG AROUND FOR A WHILE TO MAKE SURE WE WERE TAKIN CARE OF.wowow thank you soooooooo much

The staff there is extra friendly. The office manager there (I believe her name is Marilyn) is one of the nicest & professional people in the whole company. She takes care of people and makes sure you are taken care of. I wont go anywhere else for my forklift purchase/repair needs.

Horrible, horrible service, we have spend over $ 1k on two separate times to have our equipment service, only to find out that they could not find anything, they took forever to get back, bad customer service but very good at nailing you with service feesI don’t think they are very knowledgeable at allI will never, ever use them again !!!
