Pros: Good showroom and helpful counter service staff. The welders are even more friendly and helpful than the counter service staff.Cons: More expensive than a nearby fencing supplier, especially for fabrication. Even worse, my final product has the worst weld workmanship Ive ever seen. They didnt even bother notching ends that were welded onto round posts. They just cut them straight and spanned the huge gaps at the sides with weld. They also didnt bother filling in the gap with enough material so it could be ground flat. All welds are very irregular and sloppy and will be weaker than they should be.I have two more gates to get fabricated. I will definitely be taking that business elsewhere. Sad because the welders were so friendly. Unfortunately the workmanship is too poor for me to be able to recommend.

I have had great experiences time after time at American Fence! Their prices are fair and they are always helpful. I have been doing business here for over 10 years. Chris is always patient and helpful even though I always seem to forget the terminology and make up my own words for the different fencing parts. I have purchased standard supplies as well as special order items and I have always gotten what I expected in a reasonable time frame. Thanks guys!

DO NOT want to give 1 star.I went into the main office just before Jan 1 and spoke with the main man at the front desk - you cant miss him, he is the ONLY PERSON YOU CAN TALK TOO. That person then got Lane from the back. Lane met with me - i gave him full scale drawings the project and he said he would be by the location Wednesday at 10:30am to meet with me and go over the proposal. Well... he never showed up. So today, 1/3 I dropped back in and THE SAME PERSON WAS AT THE DESK! I explained to him that I met with him last week and he got Lane to help us - he then, without a second pause... reached for Lanes card and said Lane isnt here, call him I replied, sorry, maybe you dont understand, I met with him - he never showed up HE SAID I WOULD GO TO ALLIED FENCEYes, the person working for American Fence told me to go to a competitor! Well I was sure to let him know I WOULD NOT BE BACK TO AMERICAN FENCE and there was NO WAY I WOULD GO TO HIS SUGGESTED PLACE!American Fence is a company that clearly does not want business. They employee employees that actually refer the competition. GO ELSEWHERE! I am!

I called this morning because we had some damage done by vandals during the night and I needed the vinyl fence repaired.I explained the situation to the individual that answered and added I also needed about 60 vinyl fence slats to replace some damaged slats around the community. The gentleman said he needed to look at the damage and I offered to send pictures, he accepted the offer. 45 minutes went by with no communication so I sent a text asking for confirmation that he received the pictures and asked him to call me to make an appointment for repair. He responded quickly this time, but said they no longer do Vinyl fence.It took him an hour to figure out they no longer do Vinyl Fence:10:41am - My initial call, told it was Vinyl10:54 am - I sent pictures via text11:40 am - my follow-up text10:42 am - his responce textI have witnesses that heard me say vinal fence several times while on the phone. They did refer me to another company which I appreciate.

Always courteous and fairly prompt with their service. I have had one order filled incorrectly before, but one mistake out of two visits is not enough to give a bad rating.

Needed a good price on good steel. Looked around and called several places for bulk quotes. Theirs was the best price, and they were friendly & pleasant to work with.

Although i cannot speak to the quality of their work, I was disappointed with my interaction with American Fence. I scheduled to meet them at a property i manage and they showed up an hour late without any phone call or notice. I never actually received the estimation for work we discussed. After multiple attempts to contact the estimator I contacted the companies general number and they gave me another person to work with. This person also failed to return any phone calls.

Food was good and we enjoy the coffee cake
