Hired this company because of the 80 year family ownership. Obviously the next generation is not as determined to keep the good name of the grandfather. I understand construction delays but my fence was down for 5 months the whole project took 8 months to complete. I called and never got return calls or texts. The communication was non existent. they didnt purchase enough wood to finish the whole project so when they finally did come back to put up the front of the fence the wood was completely different than what was put up in the back and sides also 1.5 inches bigger! Finally showed up with a wood that matched closer but off by 1 inch. Gate was 2.5 inches to big and still had to go back to be redone. I work with construction companies for my job and trust me this would be unacceptable and cost them a claim in my world. They finally finished and returned a call when I threaten to call my lawyer. Terrible customer service. However Joel and his crew that installed get a 5 star rating in my book. They actually did a beautiful job considering what they have to work with.

I placed an order for a Vinyl Gate and some additional pieces for another fence I have been fixing.Due to delays from COVID the materials did take a bit to get in stock. The salesman I worked with never returned my calls or would give me any update about my order.When my order was finally in Cody helped my wife and I load the materials into my truck and was so helpful to make sure my order was correct. Where I had a strange order, he made sure I had the materials I needed and wasnt overcharged for things I wouldnt use. He even took the time to explain to me shortcuts to put my gate together.If it wasnt for Cody I probably would end up using another vendor for other projects.Im impressed with the quality of my materials and because of Cody will continue to give Western Fence Co. a call.

I want to give an accurate review so others will know what to expect when they deal with Western Fence. First, it took a long time. I think sometimes their salespeople are stuck in the middle and I would say the communication was not excellent. But, I made some changes and needed a change order which held up the project. I wish I had known that and sped up the process.However, the quality of work is astounding. So many things I did not expect. The holes they dug and cemented are deep. And I mean way deep. Much better than what they replaced and the wind ripped down.This isnt going anywhere. The finish trim that binds it all together looks amazing. The way they stair stepped the level of the fence from the house down to the side fence...again, something I didnt know they were going to do but looks incredible. The steel frames on the gates are amazingly strong. The gate hardware itself and locking mechanism again far surpass my expectations. The fact is this fence could not be build by amateurs. No way.My neighbor has a really good chain link fence that has withstood every windstorm we have had and I was close to getting one. At the end of the day I decided to go with something a little more modern. So after looking around and talking to these guys I went with horizontal cedar. When I told my neighbor he just shook his head and I couldnt disagree with him. I was nervous. Well since the fence has been completed, my neighbor now calls my house Fort Lucy and has proclaimed many times that the fence isnt going anywhere. He wants to know where the cannons are hiding.So, if you want a ridiculously good fence, call these guys. Make sure your is are dotted and your ts are crossed. Make sure all your contracts are in order, and then be patient. It will be well worth it. Thanks Kamren for the great suggestions. At the end of the day, there is no other box to check but 5 stars and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I would find another fencing company. Communication and scheduling is very difficult. We have built many homes and installed many fences. We used them several years ago and they were wonderful. This time it was like working with someone else entirely. They are very defensive and unorganized. We have spiral staircases and custom railings to do but I think well all be better off if we use someone else.

Plan on getting HORRIBLE customer service on the administrative end from Western Fence. Not being able to get in touch with anyone. And NOT having your project done on time. They will spin a great story and tell you its on track to happen on a certain date, but it wont and they will avoid your calls and texts. You can guarantee a lot of frustration along the way. However, The crew that came out to install was wonderful and did a great job.

Our contract was in place way before 9-21 or we wouldnt have torn out the old fence already!This company is a joke! No fence and now they are saying could be another 4 weeks! How do you stay in business????

I feel completely frustrated by our experience with this company, and I would recommend that others look for another company for their fencing project.We selected Western Fence for our fencing project at my preschool center. We were changing out the chain link fencing on two small playgrounds and replacing them with a taller and more secure iron fence. We were also going to be adding magnetic and coded locks on the fence gates for additional security. We explained the nature of the project, gave all information regarding licensing requirements we have from the state, and also gave contact information for the project manager of Mountain Alarm (the company doing the security portion of the project), so each company could communicate needs to have the project completed correctly.The project was estimated to be out about 8 weeks. Communication up until payment was received was good. After payment was given, we couldnt get into contact with anyone. The project ended up taking much longer than expected. This would have been reasonable if it was communicated, but it wasnt. Once the fencing was complete, we noticed multiple large errors. There were extremely large gaps between the ground and bottom of the fence (large enough for adults to fit under), fencing was wobbly, and the gate posts were not secured properly and came loose from the ground. For something we spent $10,000, it was completely unacceptable.Trying to get into contact with the company was difficult, and the process to get the items fixed took long and felt like pulling teeth. The original project manager we had was suddenly no longer with the company, so we began working with another individual- Lee.The gate was not done properly to work with the security project of the portion, and when I reached out to Lee about this, he agreed to meet with me, my facilities manager, and the employees of Mountain Alarm to go over what was needed to complete the project. He agreed to come out the following day (a Friday). However, he did not show to the meeting and instead wasted the time of five people. He didnt answer our phone calls to see if he was coming. I called him on Monday to follow up and he said he had completely forgotten. He said he would make it up any way he needed. So, he said he would be able to come out the same day. I asked him what time would work best for him. He then showed up over an hour late, again wasting my time and that of the facilities manager and security techs.Lee told us he would provide us with an estimate for the gate (something that should have been done correctly the first time), but that it would take about a week. Two weeks later, I hadnt heard from him, so I emailed him to check progress. He replied Im close. Almost done. One week later, I still hadnt heard from him. I emailed him again with no response.At that point, I felt that this company didnt deserve any more of my time and money, so we decided to go with another company. It was probably more money than we would have spent with Western Fence, especially if it had been done correctly the first time, but it was worth it as we now have a completed gate in less time than it took to hear back from Lee.Im disappointed that we had such a poor experience with this company, but it seems that many others have had the same experiences recently. I would suggest finding a company better suiting to communicating accurate information to their clients and completing a job correctly.

Everyone at this company is great! Kamren Nielsen was fantastic to work with and was able to take our crazy ideas for fencing, gates, horse fencing, occasional 12% grade and turn it into an amazing yard/horse area. We are thrilled with the final product. He was also super accommodating when we needed to make changes to the plan per zoning regulations. All the teams that came by to implement the work were also great, very respectful of the property and super hard working. It was not an easy project for them, with lots of elevation. The foreman who finished the project had really high professional standards and made sure it was done just right.On top of all this - the price for this project was about half the price quoted by several other companies in town.We are very happy with our fencing project and would recommend this company to ANYBODY. When my old fence fell during a June windstorm I asked my lawn care guy if he could recommend a company to build me a new one. He said Western Fence does quality work, and theyre right here in Murray.I had two different companies come out quotes. The first guy kept trying to steer me toward an inferior design, and I had serious doubts he knew his job well.Then Kamren Nielsen from Western Fence came by and was able to describe in detail the fence construction steps to build a cedar fence that I wanted with metal framed gates. I appreciated his attitude and confidence and was convinced he had earned my business.I dont know the crew who installed the metal posts, but they did a phenomenal job - the posts were straight and level.Adam and his crew hung the fence and did the gate installation. Hey they even have a quality control supervisor who makes sure everything is built to full satisfaction.Im very pleased with my fence!

We had a template for a 4 foot diameter steel sign made in their new water jet machine. They did a fantastic job, and offered it at a price that couldnt be beat. The quality was amazing, and they were able to cut it out for me within a week. I will be ordering the final signage as soon as we are ready. Thank you!!!

Signed a contract in April and was told my fence would be installed in 6-8 weeks. It has now been 12 weeks and have no fence and can not get my sales person to call me back about when Im scheduled.

Our home collapsed during the 2020 earthquake. Western Fence donated the use of temporary security fencing while we figured out our path forward, and even picked up the fence panels for us when we were finished with them. The kindness Western Fence and their owners showed to us during those difficult days will always be remembered and appreciated. Thank you!

ZERO STARS. Worst contractor in utah... NEVER reaches out to communicate, NEVER hit their dates, NEVER take action to improve employee performance because all of the employees are family members.... seriously dont know what to say other than, try somewhere else?

Here is my full experience. We had a fence installed in November. There was some scheduling issues. We got it squared away eventually.Fast forward to a few weeks ago, our gate post started to sag and caused the gate to not function well at all. I called the office number multiple times, no answer. I finally just called the sales number and someone answered. Someone needs to work on answering the main number.They actually responded reasonably fast to the initial request to have someone look at it. I sent some pictures. They sent a guy out to look at it more closely. We were still under warranty so they came and reset the post and put the gate back on. The whole process was about 10 days and that was during their busy time of year. I was happy and impressed at how well they responded to warranty work. Most companies blow that off and take their time.

I hired Western Fence to restore an automatic gate that had been out of service for at least 15 years. Kamren Nielsen was my point of contact, and DVario was the technician who lead the installation of the new and restored equipment. They were both highly professional and easy to work with. The work was done on time and on budget, and the quality of the installation is excellent. Id call Kamren again in a minute if I had any other fencing needs.

When we picked Western Fence Company to install our fence back in April 2016, we chose them because we were told that their customer service was the best and that they would work with customers. We were told that the manufacturer warranties its products for life, and while they only had a 1 year workmanship warranty, the owner would usually always work with customers if problems cropped up. In fall of that year, we had the drop rod on our large gate break free. I contacted them about it on September 10 and was asked to email them pictures, which I did the same day. I hadn’t heard anything from them over a week later and called them again and was told we will get to it. I called again the following week and they finally came out on September 28 to fix it. I was told that the drop rod had been improperly installed, and the concrete hole hadn’t been cut properly. The gates started sagging together after this and have become hard to open and close, but we decided that after our experience with the lack of response and customer service on the drop rod, that we would just live with it. In April of this year (2018) during a large windstorm the post holding the large gate cracked and all the vinyl slats pulled out. I decided that we should contact them again (and hoped that they would help out). I called Shannon Rock on April 17, 2018 and was told that the gate post wasn’t warrantied because wind was an act of God. I asked her (reminding her about the drop rod and the fact the gate was improperly installed and took damage for several months before it was fixed in 2016) if there was anything they could do, and she asked me to email her pictures (which I did right after I got off the phone with her). I hadn’t heard anything back from them at all (even a phone call or email saying that they were busy and would come when they could), so I decided to call them yesterday (June 4, 2018). I talked to Shannon again yesterday and was told that she had referred it to someone else in the company and that they should have been out. I told her they hadn’t, I was extremely upset with their customer service and would take to online reviews to tell my story. So buyer beware – don’t believe them when they tell you they have amazing customer service (they don’t). In fact, be expected to call them over and over and over again to get anything fixed (even if it is under warranty).

They were great at providing me with all the material for my 200’ project with 8’ slider and 4’ man gates. I will use them again.

These guys are great! I was contacted less than 30 minutes after I submitted my request online and was provided with a tentative quote over the phone. When the sales rep showed up, the final quote ended up being almost exactly what wed discussed. They were booked out a few weeks because its springtime, but I was able to get updates easily and was contacted when I landed on the schedule. The installation team was AWESOME! Tony and Adam went above and beyond to make our fence look beautiful again.

Honestly... This is probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I first reached out for a quote on fencing my yard. Kamren was who I was working with, and quotes me an estimate over the phone before seeing the house for 135 of fence. When I was quoted roughly $6500, I decided to move forward, knowing the price was not exact and could go up a few hundred dollars. I met him at my new home to do the true proposal for the job and was then quoted $7900. I was a little frustrated with the $1400 difference. I explained to him that I would understand if it was a few hundred off, but due to the huge difference I decided to look elsewhere and would keep in touch. When I let him know I got a quote for $2000 less than his $7900 proposal for the same material, he said, I know that it is NOT the exact same material cause I am their BIGGEST dealer in the state and no one can buy less than I can. I informed you that I would have to come out to the house to be able to get exactly everything I needed to do a proper proposal for you, not just an estimate. AN ESTIMATE IS JUST THAT... AN ESTIMATED COST. Just a work of warning, you should HOPE the materials are not the residential grade. I would not recommend this place to anyone after this experience. Just because I got a lower price, and decided to go elsewhere you do not need to belittle me and try to make me feel stupid. Maybe try not quoting an estimate if its going to be 18% HIGHER then your estimate. Ridiculous customer service.

We were happy with the service we were given by this company. Kamren Nielsen came and helped us decide what type of fence we needed to keep our dog in just part of our yard, so we could keep our gardens from getting dug up. He was very helpful, and the finished product is nice. We had to wait a while, but he told us about that when he first came, so we were prepared, and we appreciated that.

Nothing but trouble. I hired Wester Fence to build and install a 14 foot gate on the side of the house. I paid 50% up front on June 20th 2020 and then waited...and waited. I contacted them July 27th to see when it would be installed. Every week I would be told we were on for install Thursday or Friday this week only to have the week go by without it happening. I would call Monday, get told the exact same thing and have it not happen again. This went on Until August 18th when the finally installed it. After install the gate wouldnt open. I would have to lift the side of the gate to get it to open. My wife and teenage kids cant open it. The gate was built and installed with no tolerances and the hardware from each side of the gate is binding up on in each other. I called Western Fence on October 8th 2020 to complain and they said they would warranty it and send someone out to fix it in 2 weeks. It December 7th now and no one has been out to fix it. I have texted Kamren and called the office multipe times and been told the same thing you are on the schedule for this week only to have it not happen every week since.I have never dealt with a company who treats their customers so poorly. I would never recommend this company at least on a residential level. Maybe they prioritize commercial jobs, I dont know. But they are a miserable company to deal with.In addition, aside from the fact that the gate doesnt open, the pickets are not straight on the bottom of the gate. They vary by a few inches. This may not matter if the gate is always viewed from eye level but our gate is at the top of a drive and so from the street the bottom of the gate is at eye level and it is quite noticable. Careless craftsmanship.

No to impressed with customer service as far giving me a call as to when they could do it or give a day. The installer were not bad they a good job of making be happy but they did fail to call me ahead of time to let me know when to be there. Mike and Cameron both did a great job. But not at all impressed with customer service.

Several fencing companies in the area did not want to take on my back yard due to its steep nature and said that it would be too difficult. Kamren came out to give us a quote and said they could do the job with no problem. Western Fence not only took on the job confidently, but completed the entire yard in 2 days. The end result is outstanding and all of our neighbors have commented on how great the fence looks. It took a few months for the fence to get shipped from FL due to COVID-19, but Kamren did a great job keeping us informed about the status of the fence and what to expect when it arrived. Once the hardware arrived, they had us on the schedule within a week. I highly recommend Western Fence and will be referring anyone that asks me about the fence to Kamren!

We spent a significant amount of money on a large project. It is a beautiful fence and gate, however installation was never complete, and the service department is practically nonexistent. Weve made many phone calls and sent many texts trying to get them back out to finish up. One positive -- D is a great guy when he does come out.

Overall very happy with my new fence and the quality of the install. Kamren the salesperson for the fence was very easy to communicate with. I had to schedule both the fence removal, stump grinding (separate company) and fence install so the entire process took about a month to complete but the end result looks great. Willis and Kyler the installers made sure the fence was level and looked great. Wood material seems to be top quality cedar and I will be putting a sealer on to help it last a bit longer.

Western Fence Co is a flat 3-star company -- the experience was fine and nothing more. Unfortunately the sales team needs to improve their communication. As a sales manager myself, I hate seeing how Western Fences sales team communicated: really well prior to the sale, then absolutely terrible after the paperwork had been signed. We were told to expect a 2 week window between post installation and fence completion, and it took nearly 5 weeks. The salesperson constantly pushed us back, told us we were next in line, another week would pass, wouldnt return calls for a couple of days, then would make excuses how they were out of wood, etc. It felt like a battle to get the job done. The crew who installed the fence was solid once they finally showed up (without notice that they were coming, by the way). At the end of the day, I wish I went with a smaller company and paid more to get better service. Look elsewhere, folks

Very worst company I have ever dealt with. Not the worst fencing company-- the worst company of any type. The staff is beyond unresponsive; they do not return calls or texts unless you threaten to rescind the contract. They do excel at one thing-- excuses. They have an endless supply: someone is sick, someones family member died, Alies son hurt his arm, their only supplier-- that they are required to use--shut down for the year, the schedules are done on Friday and are apparently top secret because no one knows what that schedule actually says on any given day--and on and on and on. Ordered a fence Oct 7--not finished on Dec 19. We gave up and got our own slats-- far better quality and available on the spot. Quality of what was installed poor-- bottom links too high and neighbors dog can get through. Some links bent. Installers left cut wire in the yard. Avoid this company at all costs!!

Never even received a bid/quote to try and move forward. Figured if trying to buy material was this tough, delivery and ordering material probably wouldnt be much better.

Long wait because our home in Provo is too far from their Murray location.We just got our chain link fence finished yesterday and we are very pleased with the final outcome. The young men were clean, pleasant and creative to solve obstacles our property presented. We did have to wait longer than expected to get the fence completed. I was told that because we are in Provo, the distance was problematic to efficiently get us on the schedule sooner. I suggest to use this company if you live closer to their Murray location.

I read several reviews here that made me a little nervous. I can assure you after my experience, you have nothing to worry about. Holly was great to work with. The crew led by Jason Jr was awesome! The work was completed on time once they began. Holly even followed up a few weeks later to ensure that we were happy with our finished product.I would like to remind people that you’re dealing with a construction company. Delays are going to happen. Be patient.

Great customer service!!!I called around and got quoted equal or higher prices from the other fencing companies. Their great customer service and quick response from Shelby lead me to have them come bid the job. I called on my day off so Shelby came out the same day and gave me an unbeatable price. My fence was up and and to my exact specification in less than two weeks. (In the pouring rain) All the guys that came out to do the job were very professional. Worst company I have dealt with. They installed my fence incorrectly, admitted it, and never fixed it. To this day, I have a gate and post that was improperly installed and I have to fight to open it- and I am the only one in my family that can open it. I recommend you look elsewhere.

Had an old wood fence that was falling apart. I knew there were going to be some obstacles in getting it taken down before a new fence could be put up. Met with Holly McLaughlan with Western fence Company. She knew just what needed to be done. My vinyl fence looks amazing! It was a no hassle to me, and it was done in a timely manner. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor! I will definitely have them in mind in the future. Thank you western fence company!!

This has to be the worst company I have ever worked with. They started the job and never finished. So I had my credit card company take my money back. Then they show up to finish the job, so I ended up paying them in full. Motor on my gate immediately breaks and I need warranty work done. I have been calling for 6 weeks to get my gate fixed and I still have not seen a technician. $7,000.00 down the drain. I feel so taken advantage of. Find another company they are not worth the trouble.

Western Fence Company just finished my fence job and we are ecstatic! The chain fence and gates with privacy slats are beautiful. From our first visit to their office at 6020 300 W, Salt Lake City to the completion of our new fence, our experience has been wonderful.The ladies in the office are always cheerful and eager to assist; Dustin, the estimator who planned our job for us was helpful, professional, and true to his word. We will never use another fence company. We are sold on Western Fence!

I love how my fence turned out. They did a great job with it. Communication is a bit lacking since I was given no notice as to them coming out other than a phone call that morning and nobody seemed to know when they were coming back to finish? My estimator, Chad, was great. My installers, Ed and Shaun, were terrific. Very professional, informed me of several things they had to do, and super friendly. I enjoyed working with them. Hard workers .. Other than communication, they did a fantastic job on my fence. Very happy with it.. Thank you..

It has been 4 months still no fence.

I needed a $5 part urgently and I was on my way to Western Fence Company. Due to traffic I wasnt quite going to make it there by 5pm (when they close). I called and let them know I was on my way but that I would be about 5 minutes late and asked if they could help me out...They told me they couldnt. (They couldnt stay open even 5 minutes later to help me). I thought she was kidding at first. I then asked if I could just pay over the phone and they could leave the part outside for me. She said we dont take payments over the phone.I explained that I really needed the part tonight and asked if there was anything they could do to help. She said sorry there is nothing we can do.In contrast...I then called United Fence Company, which was about 20 minutes further North (in traffic). Its now 4:55 (and United Fence closes at 5 as well). I explained my predicament to the lady. She said No problem, come on down we can stick around until you get here). Because of traffic I didnt get there until 5:20. Not only did she stay an extra 20 minutes for me but then she just GAVE me the part because she felt bad I had to drive so far after Western wouldnt help me.Anyway bottom line, Western didnt do anything THAT terrible but they are obviously not the type of people who go even a little out of their way to help their customers. Not motivated to ever return to Western (and really impressed with the people at United).

Happy with there service and quality on a large steal gate replacement. They have a 3 week lead time to start the job but they informed me of that before signing any agreements. For the price I was happy to wait a couple weeks to get the nob done just happy the job was done right.

I usually dont write negative reviews but I dont want others to go through what we have. Weve gotten the run around for weeks. We still dont have a fence, just the posts. We have to call almost daily to get any feedback and the receptionist is rude. They have sent 3 different salesman out to remeasure or see what else needs to be done to complete the job. Two of the salesman were not very professional and flat out dishonest (such as charging us for commercial grade fence in a residential area.) They then tell us they will come Monday, then Thursday, then Friday etc. I have since gotten other bids and all are far less in price than our original bid. Two of the people we worked with no longer work at the company. Yes, western fence you keep telling us youve been in business for over 60 years but I have a feeling that you wont last much longer if you dont change a few things.update: finally have a fence! The new crew that did the final install was great. The fence quality seems good. However, do not recommend and will not use them again.

The corruption begins at the bidding process, deception and trickery are what you need to be aware of from the start. Bottom line is you cant trust these guys-move on before the work starts and you are really sorry...

I needed a simple wooden gate across my driveway to help prevent another car theft. Western Fence has been around for a long time so I called them. The quote was expensive $2,400, but I signed. It took two months before the gate was installed. Within two weeks the gate was out of alignment and difficult to close. After two months a gust of wind took hold of the gate and pulled the hinge off the post. I called the company. The installer said that when he put up the gate he thought it was too heavy for the posts. He recommended wheels. The sales managers response: We never put wheels on our gates. The sales rep told me the repair would be done with thicker post and three hinges. The owners response: The guy is an idiot. We never put 3 hinges on a wooden gate. Thanks, Jason McLaughlan for sending an idiot out to oversee my project. Since it had been two months since the hinges failed, I told Jason that the repair must be done by the end of the week or I would post a negative review online. Jason does not like threats. He thinks it was all my fault because I must have let the gate doors flap in the wind. Absolutely not true, I said. The work was not done and here is my post.I was a fool and only a fool would do business with Western Fence.

We had the best experience with Western Fence Co. I called for a quote and Chad came out the same day. Each crew was professional, efficient, and did excellent work. Shannon, the receptionist was great at keeping us informed of the process and was always available to answer questions. I couldnt be happier with our fence and the entire experience.

Western Fence installed our 6 vinyl fence. The fence is beautiful, VERY sturdy and the gates glide like a dream! I was most impressed with the installation team, they were professional and clearly knew the job. Our installer helped clarify any property issues with our neighbors directly. Our sales rep was nice and pricing was competitive for the fence we wanted.My only complaint is with their scheduling system. The office would call the day of to say someone was coming from 9-12 then no one showed up all day. So fix the scheduling bugs and youve got an awesome fence experience.

We had a gate built across our driveway and it is lovely. The best part was dealing with the people. Everything from the bid, the phone calls and the final installation was great. There was no mess. If we decide to install more fencing we will definitely use them again.

Our fence came out really well and at a reasonable price. Our only issue was that the installers came a few days earlier than expected without any warning - and when I was unable to be home. They then cut through my neighbors yard for some of their work, without checking in with the neighbors first - upsetting them considerably. Otherwise, we couldnt be happier with their work.

After meeting with Shelby, I knew I was in good hands! He knew what he was talking about, he was exact with his measurements and he was able to get my fence put up faster than quoted. I wish all the businesses I do business with honored their word like Shelby and western fence company did! It was a pleasure to do business with them and I highly recommend them for your fencing needs!!!!

Their warranty and after sales support is really really bad. They will take 3 to 4 weeks just to show up. They bite more than they can chew. Shorthanded and they blame the time of the year instead of beefing up resources for better customer service. Work with another company that really appreciates customers for their business and willing to go the extra mile to keep you happy and not we will get to you when we can attitude.

Western Fence Co did a fabulous job on our fence. Not only are their prices hard to beat, the quality was outstanding. The posts and fence lines were perfectly straight, and the communication throughout the whole process was very clear. I love my new vinyl fence!

Overall, I am pleased with my experience with Western Fence. The gate they installed looks really great. --- I am now updating this review. We have since had a severe wind storm, and Western came back out to honor the warranty. I appreciated their willingness to do so and get the gate fixed back up!

I had a good experience with Western Fence Company. Holly worked with me on creating a cost effective project, making adjustments based on some specialized requests, and ensured the project was done within the agreed upon timeframe. Devon, Tyler, and Chad did a phenomenal job installing the project and demonstrated above standard work ethic and cordiality.

Horrible experience from start to finish. They are terrible communicators, I could not even get the owner to return my call after having difficulties.They have a history of installing fences outside your property boundaries and brag that they have won court cases against their clients (read the fine print on your contract). Their workers told me they located my property markers and installed the fence. Now my neighbors are suing me for having my fence on 15 inches on their property! What a nightmare. Western Fence wants to charge me to move the fence. What a joke! I would give zero stars if that would be possible.

I like this company, because they respond to my estimate request quickly and get the job done on time, even in rain. I had a design change right before the day, and they responded quickly as well. They are generally using better material than typical big name home centers. Im considering another project with them.

Just had a vinyl fence installed very satisfied. Customer service was excellent. Installer Ed Munoz was on time did great work we walked the job before hand so there was no questions about the fence. From quote to finish was about 2 weeks.

Shelby and Austin did an excellent job. They were patient as we worked through the details of my custom fence, and Shelby took obvious care and pride in his work. Both men were careful to keep my yard clean and not hurt my plants near the fence line. I would gladly hire them again, and appreciated working with detailed, respectful professionals.

I called a service representative to come and get an estimate. They scheduled a time, and said they would EMAIL me the bid, which was odd because Id gotten estimates from two other companies who were able to provide a simple estimate after surveying the property and taking some measurements. The bid never arrived. I even checked my spam to make sure it wasnt misdirected. Not great customer service.

Some communication delays with our sales associate, but the installers were wonderful. Amazing hard workers, they worked for hours in 100 degree weather to get our fence in, in a timely manner. Our fence is beautiful. Overall, happy with our experience.

The salesman took extra time to explain exactly the fence we would be getting. When we later wanted to change one item, the change was made with no additional cost. The installers spent extra time to make sure the fence was correct and even made an extra trip to our home when the wrong material was put on the truck. We are pleased with the finished results.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They make everything sound so easy but when it comes to delivery of the product it is terrible.1st Order: I ordered a rod iron rail from them the sales person would not listen to what I wanted done he convinced me that we should do another way, so when it came time to install the rail the installer called and asked who ordered the rail this way. The rail was rejected and sent back to be cut off and done almost the same way as I had asked for in the first place. When the new rail came it was still not exactly what was asked for but decided it would do, the paint job where they cut it off and re-welded it did not get painted well at all. I thought by ordering in May I would skip the summer rush but that is not true with this company. The proposal orders are not written up well my name was not even on the top of the order or anything else for that matter.2nd Order: I needed to replace all of my metal stats in a chain link fence and that was a disaster! Questioned the sales person about whether or not they would fit since the fence is 30 years old and sizes have changed over the years I was assured the slats would fit, a special order was place and when they arrived they did not fit they were way too small. The salesman does NOT return phone calls and I was led on from May until July trying to get the correct size ordered, finally I had enough run around I tried to get my money back I was lucky that I had charged it on a card because I tried to get Western Fence to refund the money and they just gave me the run around on that too, so I took it in my own hands and called the credit card company and did a dispute on the charge thank goodness for the credit card company who will gave me the credit and will be dealing with the company for me.NEVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THE WORST!!!

Absolutely worst experience! Dont use these guys! They are great to bid and take your money, but after install good luck getting what you paid for. I have worked for 3 months to get them to fix my gate to make it usable, and have been told someone would fix it for over 6 weeks. My fence is falling apart, my gate is bent, and Ive sent pictures, requested help, and I am constantly told they are busy. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! First we were told they were 10 days out from installation. Nope three weeks later and numerous phone calls I get a call at 5pm the night before they are scheduled to show up. Second the crew spoke very limited English. Couldnt find our house, different people each day, left huge messes everywhere in the backyard. What was to be done in two days took more than a week. Further when the fence was installed the last crew had to finish removing the old fence. Still have part of the old fence left up that was not removed and hauled away. When I spoke to the two guys that installed the chain link they even apologized that the first crew was that bad. Still took them two days just to put up the chain link. I am glad that I again have a fenced yard but would not go through them again.

I recently had a vinyl fence installed by Western Fence. I am happy with the result. Their prices were very competitive and they were able to get me on the schedule for completion quicker than other companies could. As with most home improvement projects, there were a couple of small stumbling blocks, but the people at Western Fence went out of their way to make things right. The staff was personable and accommodating. Thanks Western Fence!

The promised our fence in 6-8 weeks. After three months we asked when they were installing and they said the salesman over promised and it is usually 3 months. We asked for a refund. They claimed they already bought the supplies. Being untruthful is worse than just saying they are behind schedule and being honest. Ultimately they installed mid-February, six months after the order. Will never recommend to anyone. They didnt even apologize for being so slow. Already referred one company with a large job elsewhere. If you own a competing fence company, you should easily be able to take large portions of business away from this company. Look at their Yelp reviews and you will see this kind of service is normal.

So glad I read these reviews before hiring them...Im not even a customer and they have dropped the ball completly. My feeling is if youre not going to call me back or respond to my email numerous times, I will not hire you to do work for me. This is the case with western fence company. I was waiting for them to show up to get an estimate and they never came. I called twice to reschedule finally did and got my estimate the next day but STILL WAITING almost a week later for the quote for my awning to protect my walk out.

They were great to work with. the fence was done in a nice timely manner and i even was called a few times to make sure that they had everything i wanted and to verify changes in the design of the fence that best suited me and the appearance of it. the price was also good!

My experience with Western fence company was good they came out and did a wonderful job the guys that I met were polite nice to my family the fence looks great I even had tow neighbors come over and ask you where I got my fence done. And yes I recommended Western fence company

We decided to replace a damaged chain link with a new cedar fence. We got a number of quotes and chose Western Fence Co. because they were the most professional and straight forward company of them all. The fence turned out to be exactly as represented in their brochure. We did have to wait a week between post install and the finished fence but in the end it looks great.

I lost part of my fence during a crazy windstorm over a year ago. I put off having it replaced and now I wish I hadnt waited. Western Fence replaced my old wood fence with a chain link. I didnt know good chain link can look! The job was done promptly and everyone was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend Western Fence.

I know that many people have had horrible experiences with companies a lot of the time, but I assure you that at Western Fence Co. we are trying to make the customer service a lot better. I do apologize for the bad experiences that many of you have had. I know that during the summer we do get extremely busy because everyone wants to put there fence in during the warm weather, and we usually get pushed out for 3-4 weeks just to start. As for the powder coating, we send out the materials to be powder coated, we dont powder coat the materials at our shop. Recently we have changed so that we connect you to the salesman right away when you call, and so far we have had better service with that as well. Scheduling is always a hassel and we are still trying to work the kinks out with that. I do realize how stressful it is because I have dealt with it myself with other companies. Please, if anyone has advice as well or tips, feel free to let us know! Again, I apologize to everyone who has a bad experience with us.

Had a wooden fence put up around February. We have a lot of wind storms that have taken out trees and fences of our neighbors but our fence has held strong! The only problem we have had is the gate. The post the gate is attached to keeps tipping causing the gate to skid across the cement when opening or shutting. I called to report it and they sent someone out within two weeks to fix it. Unfortunately it is happening again and I hope they can fix it permanently this time.

I have waited 3 weeks for my installation, I reached out to get an update on Wednesday, I was told the installation would be either Friday or Monday. I reached out Thursday to see if they would be coming Friday. I was told they would let me know first thing Friday morning. No response again, I had to reach out again on Friday at 2:30pm and was told it would be Monday. The delay is expected but Holly the sales manager was beyond rude and continued to justify why she hasnt communicated. If I could back out I would.

We had the Western Fence Company out to make a few repairs to our vinyl fence that was purchased and installed by another company. We had Western Fence Company put in a gate and replace fence posts. They did a fantastic job for us and we are very satisfied. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone.

Western Fence did a great job installing my new fence. In my neighborhood, the HOA has fence guidelines which they knew and followed. Although there was initially some misunderstanding with the salesman, they ended up putting in precisely the fence I wanted. The workmen were actually perfectionists in doing a precise job. The gate is typically the weak and troublesome point in any fence but Western Fence puts in a gate with a welded steel frame. I expect it to be standing forever. The company I work for already had the tax information and so I figured Id try to get them to help me out. Guy that was supposed to give me an estimate didnt show up. Calls and emails went unanswered, apparently they had something better to do than work.

Western Fence company installed a chain link fence for us. The bottom was so high off the ground our dogs could crawl under it and get out. We had to buy stakes to pul the fence down closer to ground. Then the hate they installed broke within the first month after install. I’ve currently been waiting close to three months for them to come out and fix them gate. I would suggest going with another company

I contracted with Western Fence Company to build a fence and two gates. A salesman came out right away and answered all my questions. When they started on the fence and demo they worked quickly and efficiently. Once the actual building of the fence began the foreman was very attentive to every decision that needed to be made and he made sure I was happy with the work. As with any construction job there were a few problems that crept up but they were handled with skill and to my liking. We also had a scheduling conflict but they made it a priority to get our fence finished. I did not feel at any time like we were being neglected. The end product is beautiful and I am very happy with Western Fence.

Contacted Western Fence to get a bid on some fencing. 3 Days later I received their call, but missed it. I called back within the hour, and spoke with a woman about getting a bid. During the call, I inquired about what I was looking for and she quickly rushed me off and said she had a meeting to catch, but would call back. I stayed available all afternoon for the returned call, but no follow up was made.Based on the way they handle potential customers on the phone, I recommend staying away from this place. A good business should always put the customer first and follow up through on the expectations they setup or promise to a customer.With all the options in the fencing industry, they clearly dont stack up to their competitors who deliver customer service, on time appointments, and professional services. Should I have continued to follow up with them v. the other way around, I could only imagine the trouble I would have had down the road.
