We were very excited to try Sweetaly Gelato for the first time and it did not disappoint. Amazing Gelato for a great price. The only down side was not being able to have samples before ordering, rather than that, we had a great experience.

First I have to preface that I loooove gelato. Like I don’t just like ice cream or dessert in general but I will travel for fresh gelato!They have a good traditional menu option here with pistachio, tiramisu, dark chocolate, hazelnut, Raffaello, mars alone and such.The girls who serve are friendly as well.Now this was back in Early April but they also allow you sample pretty much however many flavors you like which is great because I hate it when gelato places limit you to like two samples! This can be annoying because every gelato place makes their gelato a different consistency and sometimes overly soft or too sweet.Sweetaly does not disappoint!I religiously buy their pistachio cookies which are surprisingly not too sweet and actually have some pistachio flavor. Every time I go back to Atl I buy three bags.I had the hazelnut gelato which wasn’t too hazelnut sweet flavor which I appreciated and the tiramisu is decadently light.Recently when I went two days ago they no longer allow samples. Boo~ but since I’m familiar w/ the good flavors ok w/ me.Their cookies still consistently good. It’s a cross between the lightness of a Madeleine and the texture of a cookie. 😋

Their gelato is fantastic each flavor we tried was delicious. There was about 10 of us and we got really fast friendly service. The shop was really clean and bright. They offer different sizes and have cones available or larger sizes like pints. One of my favorite menu items is the small/kids size. It’s actually a kids size and because their gelato is delicious none will be wasted for the little ones.The one flavor I will be coming back for is the Black Forest it was (chefs kiss) exquisite!

I normally do not ever post 5-star reviews, but their gelato is authentic and outstanding. Wonderful people, beautiful location, and of course great product. I hope to bring my family here to experience the Italian atmosphere someday soon. If youre ever in the area, please check them out. I would definitely recommend!

Wife loves it, I think it is okay, some of the flavors just miss. Some are great and would get again, but they switch them out constantly. Also the portion size could be improved for price. And the last time we went the dutch chocolate tasted bad, and the mango lime tasted like some type of cleaner. But my wife always loves her selections, and our friends enjoy it, so I gave it 4 stars.

Decadent, while light and fluffy at the same time. Served like traditional gelato and every flavor we tried about 10 flavors and each one was filled with tasty flavor.

My kids Love the gelato (ice cream) here. Amazing quality and abundance of flavors. Love how we can have it on a cone with NO PLASTIC waste. The bambino is a small cone perfect to get a taste and the piccolo a little bigger and great price both under $4. We always come back for more! Had a wonderful Lavazza Capuccino on a mug No waste necessary! Plus Capuccino tastes better in an authentic mug!

Very cute little gelato spot in one of my favorite SLC neighborhoods. Great vegan options and authentic aesthetic. Their take on affogato is a tad non-traditional but still delicious.

The location was super aesthetic and the gelato was divine. I got the pistachio and strawberry/rose and it was to die for!

Best Gelato in SLC...like Ive died and gone to Italy

I love this little gelato shop. Went here with my little girls and the server was super kind to them and answered all their questions. The girls got coconut and mango. I got the Casablanca Affogato which was perfection for the cold day. The flavors are always spot on... marscapone is my favorite. You cant go wrong. The chocolate fountain is also a great add and my kids favorite part of the experience. They arent the cheapest gelato place in SLC, but the quality is worth it. Definitely give them a try.

If I lived closer, I think I’d go here once a week. I’ll pay the price. Every little spoon full is delightful. The salted caramel, dark chocolate, and coconut are what I always get but the deliciousness doesn’t stop there.

Drove passed this place, and had to flip around after I saw they had 4.8 out of 5 stars with over 400 reviews. That’s impressive. And they totally deserve that rating. This place is great. Highly recommend the lemon flavor. It’s like nothing I’ve ever had. Great customer service, and a really cool layout too.

The cannoli was just okay but the gelato was pretty good. The tiramisu was the best thing I tried.

The gelato is great, but they never seem to have more than one person working there which makes things take forever. We’ve literally waited 15 min in line with only 4 customers in front of us.

I came here on a whim over the weekend. I was originally looking for an open bookstore and saw this shop. I have recently come to love Gelato, and this is some of the best I have had so far.Flavors are amazing, and the consistency is perfect. I especially loved that the pistachio flavor is actually pistachio, not the mass-market green version.While I came with my partner and he never tips, I plan to drop by again on my own just to leave a tip for the amazing product and very friendly service.

Favorite ice cream/gelato in Utah! I would rank it right up to gelato Ive had in Rome. My favorite flavor is peach or pistachio. WE LOVE SWEETALY!

Best gelato in town, hands down. You can tell it’s homemade, and made with real ingredients. My personal favorite is the almond/amaretto, and the dark chocolate sorbet. I have struggled to go back to regular ice cream ever since we started aiming here. Ditch the soft serve and get yourself some real ice cream.

Being from Italy, I can safely say this is the best gelato I’ve had in the States. And even if I were back home with the high standard of gelato quality in Italy, this would still be one of my top picks. We tell everybody about this place, it never disappoints.The owner, Francesco, is awesome and extremely attentive when it comes to the quality and freshness of his ingredients. We were also pleasantly surprised when we found out that all the fruit flavors are dairy- free, but still just as good as all the rest.I also don’t quite understand the few complaints on price - I’ve been to plenty of places in the States that sold regular ice cream or very inauthentic gelato and always spent more... for something that didn’t come even close to the quality and flavor of Sweetaly. We were surprised at how good the prices are, considering all the ingredients they import from Italy and how great the gelato is. So worth it!

I was introduced to gelato in Italy. Ever since I’ve been on the search for American gelato that tastes like it did in Italy. All the gelato places we’ve been to in Utah are more like ice cream. Sweetaly Gelato is spot on. Most important the texture is the way gelato should be. Super smooth and delicious. If you want authentic gelato this is the place to go in Utah.

This is some of the best Gelato on the planet. Ive tasted lots of it in Italy and Sicily. This is every bit as good as any that Ive tried.

There are other excellent gelato places in the city, but this is my favorite. The way a flavor can taste like the thing itself, eating pistachios or hazelnuts or fruit but in this child, sweet, smooth form.

The kids working there were nice. The Gelato, not so much. I was not fooled. Still, for the price, not too bad. Just mezzo mezzo.

I went with a group of friends during a busy time and the line moved so quickly!! The flavors were so yummy too!! I had the pistachio and dark chocolate. Loved it!! I also chatted with the employees and I love the idea that they make it fresh everyday and have different flavors for different seasons and on different days to have a nice variety! Cant wait to come back to town to try it again!!

We came here because we have the Wasatch Savings card, and it gave us a BOGO free serving of gelato. The young kids working on the Friday evening were not fully aware of the card discount, and it took several minutes for them to call management and figure it out. But the gelato was great, they had tons of unique flavors, and it all was very delicious.

Definitely the pinnacle of gelato in SLC. Have been a happy customer since they first opened their original location and I have never had a bad experience. Pistachio (only available on weekend’s) is so, so good.

We come here all the time and love your Gelato. Due to traffic issues we we arrived at the door at 8:01. Your hours changed it used to be 10pm. We got in the parking lot around 7:55 but having a 5 month old it took us a few minutes to get out of the car. The child working behind the counter proceeded to yell at us stating you were closed and we needed masks to even come in anyway and told us to leave. Meanwhile there were 5 customers in front of us waiting to be served. My wife has a skin condition and has tried to wear masks several times but her skin breaks out and I have asthma we dont carry masks around to enter places who belittle you for not having one. Sometimes I have one laying around I can put on for places such as your location that are more fearful and uncomfortable if anyone isnt wearing one. Obviously we arent so rude as to blindly enter a place that requires one and spread anything I hope management will take him aside and talk to him about some manners.

The place was busy with one worker, it must be difficult for them to keep on top of things. Delicious gelato aside, though, fairly priced.

Small place but amazing vegan ice cream

What a gem! My kids and I were out for a Spring break adventure and stumbled on this great Gelato shop. The flavors are exquisite and the texture was creamier than anything else Ive ever had. The shop is clean and bright and offers patio seating. Great service and atmosphere. Well be back!

I love this place and Id love to give it 5 stars, but the gelato is just a little too crystallized. Gelato in Italy Is a little smoother and very creamy. This is still the BEST Ive found in Utah. Is HIGHLY recommend it and will be going back often.

The shop has a good style and fun environment. There was a bit of a line (it was a Saturday night) but it was worth the wait. I was pleasantly surprised by cantaloupe gelato, an odd flavor but I loved it. They had a wide variety of flavors and options for dietary restrictions.
