The salon was very clean and nice. I went there for eyelash extensions and although Katie did a great job, it wasn’t quite what I personally was after. She had no problem refunding me and was very kind and careful around my eyes. If more voluminous lashes are your preference, then I would definitely recommend.

I went to this salon for the first time, and last time. I called to get a haircut and a blow out. The stylist whom I will not name was nice, but she didn’t have a clue what a blow out was. I left the salon with my hair flat and frizzy. I think the owner should research the stylists credentials before letting them rent space. I literally could have done a better blow out myself. Disappointed

Would not recommend at all. My idea for a medium length curly bob went full Karen mated with a poofy poodle. I think the stylist tried and it seemed like she felt bad that the cut was unpleasant.Shes a nice lady, but, the result of my visit is one thats going to haunt me for months.Theres probably another business capable of giving you a more acceptable result for $50.Its even worse after a few days of trying to get used to it. Im embarrassed to go out in public. I should have just gone to walmart at this rate.

I have been going to Arock for years! I don’t just use one stylist I have a different stylist for different things! Autumn the owner is outstanding, very professional in all she does. She is my go to when it comes to my hair!! Cyd is who I use for my waxing, she is the only person that I have found her in San Angelo who is able to wax my eyebrows and give me the perfect shape. Amanda does my lash extensions And I absolutely love them, she takes her time and they come out perfect every time. The atmosphere at the salon is always so inviting everyone always seems to be in such a great mood and is always willing to help with a service or if there is someone that is better suited for what you are wanting, they point you in the right direction!! I will never go to another salon in San Angelo!! Arock Salon is my number one go to for everything! The salon is so innovative and up to date with the newest trends!!

I went in Saturday to do a lash lift with Michael and he was there on time and I found him to be easy going, friendly, and respectful..he did a good job and I will go again

This place was a problem from trying to schedule an appointment to the finished result. I had to leave a voicemail and then had to reach out to the owner on social media just to get an appointment secured. Once the appointment was secured, I was in contact with the stylist Alyssa via text message, and I provided pictures of my hair and pictures of what style I wanted, which was blonde balayage, and requested to see her portfolio, which was like pulling teeth to get from her. When the appointment was finished, my hair was not blonde balayage, but strawberry blonde/orange from root to tip, and even Alyssa said before I got up from the chair that, “oh, your hair picked up more red than I thought it would. We can fix that in a second sitting.” I got to looking at my hair when I got home (and it looked more orange in natural light), and sent a message to Alyssa that I wanted a different stylist to correct the problem, as I wasn’t confident in her ability after the results of the services she provided, and the owner contacted me asking me to come back across town to show her my hair (because Alyssa couldn’t show her the pictures she took in the salon), and I didn’t have the time to go all the way back. The owner then was extremely rude and told me I couldn’t change stylists, and basically I was SOL on the horrible color job that Alyssa did. The owner, I believe her name is Autumn, is very rude and wouldn’t help one bit even when Alyssa owned up to doing a poor job on my hair. I had to pay another stylist $200 to fix my hair and obviously damaged my hair (dried it out) due to having to color it twice. Stay far away from this salon, as they don’t care about making it right, when they messed it up to begin with. Poor management, extremely poor attitudes, and poor service.***ETA in response to Justine - the appointment was Aug 27, 2019 - what that has to do with anything as far as your response is beyond me. I reached out to Alyssa immediately and in text on August 28th at 0828 is when she responded, so it wasn’t days later; I immediately expressed dissatisfaction with the color as again, before I even got up from the chair, Alyssa was offering to fix it in a second session. There was never any offer by Alyssa or the owner for a refund on services, or any concession in getting a different stylist to mitigate the damage. I never went back into your salon, and all interactions from there on was communicated via phone, so not sure what footage you’re referring to, as again, I never stepped foot in there after I left that appointment. As far as how beautiful my hair turned out (again, Alyssa knew that she did a piss-poor job as she was trying to set me up to get it fixed before I got up from the chair), here’s what I asked for and here’s what I got. I also included the message from Alyssa admitting that the results were not acceptable.

Being military, I move too often to actually find a stylist that can do pixie cuts properly. So, I almost never have a good experience when I need a haircut. Naturally, I never feel comfortable. I’ll just sit there with gritted teeth and pray my hair isn’t too awful, then go home and even things out myself. ARock changed that today. I managed to get a same day appointment, actually felt comfortable when I arrived, and thankfully Tracy was there! Tracy stayed late, didn’t rush, loved how she washed my hair, took the time to discuss what I wanted and how it would be achieved. She’s not a “Chatty Cathy” like some, but still very friendly, professional and focuses on doing your hair right. I will definitely go back to her, and definitely recommend her and ARock! Thank you Tracy and ARock!

Tracy was AH-MAZING! I called and got in the same day and she stayed late to help me out. I desperately needed hair help. She cut and styled me to my hearts content and was warm and kind. My husband and I are visiting from Connecticut and stopped in, hoping to make appointments for haircuts. Fortunately for us, they were able to take us right away. Jake listened to me and worked very diligently to give me the haircut I asked for. Miller also did an excellent job on my husband. Miller even shaved his neck with a straight razor which my husband said he hasnt had since he was a kid. We were more extremely pleased with the friendly service and great haircuts.

Originally called Autumn when I was referred to her. I wanted a GOOD short cut and she recommended I see Kari. Kari did and continues to do a great short female cut with great layers! I also have had Autumn do my micro blading on my eyebrows. I thought what I had before was good but she made it much better. Very natural looking! Love this place!

I had not been to a salon in 5 years, I was seriously past due on a cut and color. Shannon took me in, and I told her what look I was after, and we went from there, she did an amazing job! This is the best cut and color I ever had! I almost cry when I look at myself in the mirror, I can not believe it is me! I will be going back, and will not wait 5 years to do it!

I was in a hurry and they got me in as soon as possible. I went to Jake. He’s so sweet and super fast. I asked him some questions about my hair and what his opinion was. He didn’t try to get me to spend more, he was just honest and that’s hard to find. He did such a great job cutting my hair, it’s so even and I’ve gotten a bunch of compliments on it. 10/10 recommend.

Jake is a true talent and I dont know what I would do without him! When I first moved to town, I tried several different salons--all left me dissatisfied and one left me in tears--until I found Jake. He is not only talented, but he is just plain fun to talk to! He always listens and cares about making you feel your best. He does my moms colorful mohawk, my husbands super-short look and my hi lights and bob cut with equal skill.

Phenomenal! I have extremely long hair and dyed it dark. I walked in believing I would ultimately have to cut it. But, I kept my length, got my lighter natural color back. To top that, my hair doesnt even feel damaged. I dont style or put heat to my hair. Yet, its as soft as it was walking in. I recommend!

My daughter takes me to get a cut and color refresh every month and we go to Melissa Martinez. She always makes sure I’m very satisfied every time, I’m older so I don’t like change much but she always shows me all my options and gives me many selections and choices I like how she double checks with me to make sure things are exactly as I want them. They are very friendly and have a beautiful, relaxing environment!

Everyone here was very nice, but my hair was not very happy after my appointment. Dani Z did my hair and I was doing a blonde balayage from virgin hair and I understood that I would need more than one session so the color looked fine but it looked more like outgrown highlights and my hair was very dry until I got it redone somewhere else (I even got it more lightened and it wasn’t as dry) which leads me to believe that the products used on my hair weren’t great. (They told me not to get my hair lightened again for at least 4 weeks) I paid a lot of money for this so it was a little bit of a bummer.

I had the pleasure of having Veronica as my stylist tonight. I came in for a cut and color. It took 6 hours and my hair has never felt and looked better! The last time I dyed my hair or had any color in it was 2 years ago. It didn’t come out to the color I had wanted so I decided to wait till I found a stylist who knew what they were doing. I have had nothing but bad experiences with stylist who have messed my hair up or gave me colors that were totally different than what I wanted. Veronica was amazing and will be my stylist from here on out. I googled hair salons in the San Angelo area and there were so many to choose from. I like to do my research after all my bad experiences. I found Arock salon and they were rated super high with the most reviews for their ratings, which told me that this salon and their stylist are good at what they do. I’m so glad I chose to call and make a last minute appointment. The place was beautiful inside and out. It was inviting from the outside and very classy inside. Veronica gave me ideas for future hair stuff and was very knowledgeable in her expertise of cutting hair. The one thing that blew my mind was how every stylist I went to, to thin my hair, have always used thinning shears. Veronica was the first stylist to never touch my hair with thinning shears, just scissors, and it thinned my hair out. I sat there in disbelief because I always thought you had to use thinning shears for thinning. She also was the only stylist I’ve been to that cut my hair when it was dry. Her talent is amazing. I definitely will recommend this salon to everyone and anyone I know. I’ve never been so happy with the outcome of my hair before! Definitely give this salon a chance, because I’m so glad I did!

Love the results I get from arock salon

Went in got a microblading appointment last fall of 2018, and ended being in an out in less than 20-30 minutes.. Because I had decent brows, I was told that all I needed was some “fill in spots”. I’m half Korean, so I don’t have naturally full brows. What I wanted was not what I ended up with.My initial appointment seemed promising, but again - I was out in less than 30 minutes. My follow up apt lasted maybe 10. I literally have 2 single darks lines and the rest of the marks have faded in less than 6 months. I’ve read multiple reviews of women having great results with having naturally thin to no eyebrows to begin with, but I was left seeing visibly no difference after 3-6 months. It was a waste of time and money. If I knew proper time and technique wasn’t going to be used for my apt, I would’ve cancelled and gone to another reputable salon.I’m leaving 3 stars instead of one because Autumn is a genuinely nice person, and I know she has a passion for what she does. I just left feeling like I didn’t matter as a client.

You know its very hard to find A hairstylist that you can trust with your hair, well thats how it is for me. When i went to ARock Salon I got my hair done by her...and OMG!! Genisis is just absolutely amazing. She is a miracle work on hair. I would definitely recommend her to everyone.

My hair got so damaged and messed up.. i had it so beautiful and took months to get it there.. She put the orange back in my hair and now I lost all that pretty blonde.... I cried all damn day! I scheduled an appt on the morning of and was happy to get in the same day with Monica. I arrived early and ended up sitting there another thirty minutes after my appt time and Monica never showed up or never called to explain what happened. As I decided not to wait any longer, I let front desk know I was leaving. She was nice but didnt even ask if i wanted to reschedule with anybody else for another day....very dissppointed because it sure looks like they do a really good job and I was really excited about it.

It was an amazing experience and everyone was so welcoming and nice. Im glad I found out about it and Im for sure planning on going again.

Ever since my stylist Melissa Martinez has moved to a rock I have had nothing but enjoyable experiences there my hair is an ombré mix of chocolate brown and pink, And it is absolutely gorgeous it does take a lot of upkeep but I was briefed on it and we do weekly maintenance because the color washes out very fast, she is an excellent color specialist and I wouldn’t allow anyone else to touch my hair! I utilize all services at a rock, autumn has done my microblading on my eyebrows and I love them! I also get my face waxed, spray tans, and buy my beauty products from them, I am a AROCK SUPPORTER 1000%

I went to a young girl claiming to color my hair into something I think was called Bollagio, she texted me pic of the color I had wanted in an ash blonde but she ended up coloring me an ugly cheap looking reddish orange that looked hideous, I voiced my opinion about not liking the color but she still charged me $125, beware!
