Visited this store today and was greeted quickly by an employee and she was ready to help me! This has not happened in several of my past visits. It was hard to find an employee but today was totally different. The store was sparkly clean and everything was in its place. I enjoyed shopping here today and I will shop here again!

I just recently got my hair permed at Ulta by Emily. She did an awesome job. I love my hair! She was very friendly and kept a conversation going with me the whole time. She was well trained and knows alot about hair in general. I definitely recommend her! Go see Emily at Ulta at the Sunset mall in San Angelo

Lauren did an amazing job today in my hair cut and blow dry. Very recommended.

When the discount for an item did not ring up properly the manager was called. She was not willing to show the new employee how to get it to ring up without walking him all the way across the store to verify the discount on the product aisle. This, in spite of me, my wife AND the clerk who helped us telling her what the discount was. Although she left us waiting at the counter while she did her training of the newbie, you can be assured it wont happen again because my wife and I agreed that we will never shop there again. I hope she gets the lesson that you take care of your customers before you waste their time needlessly.

Recently got an eyebrow tint... I’ll never do that again. I know our eyebrows are not twins but come on. My brows are thin, always have been despite measurements on how they should be. I had Harry Chaplin eyebrows and the tint was not even AT ALL. I looked in the mirror and I was speechless. I didn’t make a scene, there was no fixing it at that point. I didn’t want to make the young girl feel bad. No refund will be given just a free wax. It won’t break the bank but i will not be going back for any services.

Lauren did a great job on my hair and was super knowledgeable about the hair products! All the employees are super nice and helpful too.

I know that people are only doing their job here.. but knowing what its like working for a ulta before . but I wished I could have walked around and browse through the store without feeling like Im stealing. I like taking my time, theres a difference between being helpful to being sorta judgmental.. the ones who are stealing are not me.

Its a good place, but when something on clearance, read the tag, same product but when you go pay they say well its not this item its the matte one, or this is not the one but tag matches I make sure to read it. But product right above it. So its happened 3 times to me. So now I dont even bother. But other than that good place

Emily Mclain was awesome. I was a bit worried because I have curly hair but she took care of me and made my hair look so curly, havent had it look like this in such a while. She was so sweet and made me comfortable. I definitely recommend anyone to her. Such a relaxing and fun time with her. Will be going back to her 100%

Made an appointment to get my hair curled for my wedding today, showed up on time to be told the individual who was scheduled to be doing it thought they had the day off and estimated they’d show up in forty five minutes. Manager didn’t seem at all concerned it’s too last minute for me to make an appointment somewhere else. Lost my business. I will make sure other don’t make the same mistake I did and depend on Ulta of San Angelo.

Kim at the hair salon was so kind a helpful! Although the services I wanted didn’t match my budget she sat with me and explained everything I need to do to get my hair to where I wanted it to be. She then set me up an appointment with someone else with a budget I could manage and just offered so many different options to make sure I was happy. I know nobody else in town would’ve taken the time to do that and I am just so very grateful.

I have long thick and curly hair and I hadn’t cut it in over a year. I called and made an appointment the same day with Amity. She had no idea what she was in store for but she took her time and did a fantastic job. I even got a scalp treatment and she made sure to thoroughly go through and section off my hair to cover every bit of my scalp. Highly recommend her!

The place was horrible.I wanted a whole advise on using products. Was no available appointmentThe sales person was not allowed to help me her senior took her away. After she tried some products she left me without I would know what products I should buy. I was ready to leave there some hundred of dollars to renew my full make up...they was able to sell me nothing. So very disappointed.The customer service in this San Angelo store is not a one star but under 0.very unhappy. No I do not refer this shop if you need help.

Valerie gives me life... Literally. She keeps my hair super soft and healthy with a biweekly keratin treatment and will soon start adding some highlights and color to really give my hair the dimension that it needs. The service is great. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The stylists are very relate-able, and Ulta offers great customer service, price and efficiency. Their hours are totally flexible, and I recommend all of my friends here. They too share my enthusiasm for this awesome salon.

Product knowledge has to be a must when working in any field of retail. The associate who helped us was not only rude but when asked questions she seemed completely lost on a response. I wouldnt recommend ulta to someone whom has a passion for make up.

The lady did absolutely terrible on my eyebrows. She told me that she was not going to touch anything outside of what she drew, and she literally waxed off all of my eyebrow. So make sure you tell them exactly how you would like them done. Although there is one lady who is amazing at eyebrows, and unfortunately she couldnt be there that day to do mine :(.

I had my hair cut by Kaylah and she did an amazing job! I was a little worried how it was going to turn out due to my hair being so curly but she took her time and cut my hair exactly how I wanted. I will definitely be returning in the future!

I went in today looking for a new foundation. There were 2 girls at the regusters talking and I was totally ignored. Not a single person walking around the store to help anyone either. So after 20 minutes of trying to decipher products I left and went to Sephora, ask for Patrick cause he was amazing there!

We have dropped some $$$ here buying hair/makeup products. However, the staff does NOT give one bit about YOU. I had a coupon ... oh, Im sorry that doesnt work on prestige... woman, my bill is over $50 bucks, take the $3.50 off. I get home and boom my email pops up for a 20% off INCLUDING prestige. .. for my business, why didnt the crazy sales lady just say that?!? Wow..and you walk around the store..WHERE ARE ALL THE SALES PEOPLE??????

Its okay. They do have everything well, almost everything there. However, the staff just doesnt care about helping you. At least for me. Im use to someone coming up to me asking if I need any help. Instead, these employees dont bother you until its time to check out. There have been multiple times where I wanted to check my foundation color or looking for a product that wasnt on the rack but maybe in the back of the store. No one was there to assist me so I was upset that I had to hold off on getting something that I wanted and possibly come back another time which isnt even possible now. Their website sucks too. I tried buying stuff for 3 days and it wouldnt take my cards. It wasnt my cards because I had money on them and had just used them.

I like this store. They carry almost any brand of makeup you could want. I didnt give 5 stars because one time I bought foundation, got home, opened the box and found an empty tester bottle. I did go back and they gave me a new bottle without issue but it was still inconvenient.

My daughters birthday is right before Christmas. All she could talk about was tge James Charles palette. I ordered it online and it was a fake. So I went to Ulta on thursday when they get their shipments and light shone down upon me as tge Heavens opened and behold, Ulta had just the palette she wanted. The associates were overjoyed with me. Great service!

The staff in this store are helpful without being too pushy. I feel like I can shop there in my yoga pants without being judged.

I understand Im a Male but i wanted to purchase a gift certificate for a facial. Nobody would help me. To busy chatting in a group. The lady who passed me while she was getting the salon ready. Saw me but did nothing to help me as well? Im curios to know why the choose to work retail and have this type of attitude? Customer service isnt based on whom they personally choose or rate in their little pay scale meter they have in their head. They should remember that customers probably make a lot more than they do working retail. Now Im sure they will have excuses or give the I dont remember excuse. But this post isnt about reprimanding certain people. Its an opportunity for management to train and develop your employees. Its very simple. Why is it so hard to to be nice? Greet every single person who walks in your store, smile, be attentive, make the customer feel welcomed and the easiest but yet so hard, do your JOB help the customer! They expect to get paid. Well customers expect some type of service. Its not up to the employees when they should or shouldnt help someone. Its their job. Get out of retail if you dont like helping people. Remember your attitude and negativity represent the company you work for. I guarantee upper management has a whole different idea and training policy in place. Well I hope that this post makes a difference and someone remembers that the company they work for has its reputation in their hands!! The company wouldnt of hired you if you had this type of attitude at the interview. I will bet the $ I spent on Amazon on that.

Went there excited to get a haircut. When They were done with me I was feeling so I’m embarrassed, awkward ugly! Girl cut way too much on one side was supposed to get a pixie I got one side 1inch of hair and other side 6 inches of hair they tried fixing it but could not! Try talking to the manager she didn’t do anything about it talk to the supervisor didn’t do anything about it I finally called the one 800 number and they return my money back. Worst place I’ve ever gone Service is bad first and last time I go there 😔😡

Compared to what I am used to in Minneapolis, MN; this store looks cluttered, no pricing noted under products, messy, products laying all over and not put back in correct bins; overall store looks like a mess. Where is the staff, and more appropriately where is management? They obviously are not concerned given the reviews previously. Someone needs to clean house at this location. Will be going back to Sephora.

I have never written a review until today. I am a huge fan of Ulta and shop there regularly, but I will no longer shop at the Ulta in San Angelo. Very rude staff. They seemed to be bothered if you asked where a product was, but today was the last straw. My mother called in advance to set up a hair appointment she arrived 10 minutes early and was asked to wait 15 to 20 minutes. My mother understood things happen and gladly agreed to wait. The blue haired hairstylist then went to the front of the store and did nothing, finally she returned to the girl waiting that was there before my mother and started cutting her hair. Needless to say 45 minutes later the hairstylist was finally ready...To bad she called the house instead of my mothers cell phone. My mother was very upset and felt dismissed as in she was an older women and she did not want to bother with her.

I went in pretty lost and was well assisted.
