Great Tejano music selections and friendly staff

Cross between oldies/norteño record shop & roadside attraction. Has jukeboxes, listening post, tons of curated artifacts. For under-30s prob not so great for selection, unless you already enjoy Freddy Fender, Lydia Mendoza, and David Lee Roths Spanish-language editions. Worth a visit!

Nice, clean, and organized but vinyl prices are a little high and it took a while before we were acknowledged. Good collectible vinyl. Very cute store.

They have probably the BEST selection of Conjunto Music anywhere! They even have Santiago Jimenz Sr CDs.. come check em out!!

Really neat shop. Lots of cool stuff and history on the walls. Staff was very nice and informative. You have to stop by if youre in the area.

I have bought the majority of my music collection from here. They are a great source for CDs, cassettes and vinyl. Great customer service and enjoy their social media content. Definitely a staple in the community and a historic place in San Antonio and in conjunto and tejano music. All types of styles from Tejano, conjunto, norteño, to r&b, oldies and more. Highly recommend!

I heard about this place when one of the owners, Jay, was on the local radio. It was a drive away, but I wanted to see a local record shop. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by one of the workers. She excitingly showed me around the store and warehouse, and really made me feel at home. Her and her brother told me the story of their father, a successful Hispanic songwriter and record label owner. I bought a record that was released under their fathers label, as well. It is very clear that the owners care about their customers and their business. By coming here, you support some of the kindest and most caring people in San Antonio. Furthermore, their collection of Hispanic and Texan music is second to none. Name any Hispanic artist and I am sure that you can find it here. The store is clean, nicely decorated, and Tejano is always populating the speakers. The atmosphere clearly shows how much the owners care about their store. I had a great experience here and Im sure that if you are reading this, you will too.

Best place ever to get oldies, and new music too, I have been going there for years. The service is outstanding. If Irma doesnt have the music you wanted she will always find a way to get it for you. She is awesome.

If youre a baby boomer or just like the oldies but goodies this is the place!

Little disappointed I buy a CD of Jay Perez and said is a live but when we play, a lot skip going on😟 look like burned in home and cost a lot, that CD is good songs but not worth like we paid.

Del Bravo Record Shop is a rare find an original record shop! Theyve been in business since the 1960s of course they have more selection and knowledge about records than most, if youre a collector or have an interest in the way people experienced music in the past, you should check them out.
