OK, maybe a 1 star isnt fair, because we have purchases several appliances from them (and are reasonably happy)But NEVER get talked into a warranty. Our 2.5 year old refrigerators ice maker is making loud annoying noises. When you contact the warranty center...well, theyre not so quick at responding. And when they do they seem like an insurance company. They are finding reasons NOT to come check it out. They say if youre getting ice, the noise isnt in the coverage. Lovely. We did every check they recommended but it didnt help.When I look up this problem on Google, it points to a bad compressor, a faulty drain pipe, or the condenser.I almost always write positive reviews because its hard running a business. Aztec salespeople are fine. The warranty folks are not on the customers side.

Due to COVID appliances are taking longer than usual to be delivered. I ordered a GE Cafe Double Range in January and received it in September. My sales associate was Karen Erickson was amazing. Karen was very patient and always pleasant when I called to check on delivery. She stayed on top of the shipping progress. I am very grateful to her for sharing her knowledge regarding appliances and her great customer service

I like a LOT of San Diegans have been buying ALL our familys appliances at AZTEC for over 20 years now.Although sad to see the downtown store by me close, when my 15 year old Whirlpool refrigerator started a slow leak from its water line inlet Aztec was only a call away.I started as I always do at their outlet section to se any aesthetic discounts. Was SO LUCKY that Rudy picked up the phone. MAN, what a great guy and expert in helping me find a new fridge based on so many considerations and options !!After buying one at 5:55 pm before they closed, he even helped me upgrade the very next day to a better model over the phone --after Id had time to think.But it didnt stop here, via emails and texting he helped me prep for the delivery requirement that there be a shut-off valve by the fridge for his delivery crew to hook up my new unit.On top of all this is the fact that Aztec has their OWN deliery crew (not 3rd party contractors like HD or Lowes that you can never track down).And on top of that is the IN-credible $59 delivery charge INCLUDING removal of the old fridge !!!AGAIN, the family success with Aztec continues. Look no further than this company....and hope you share my luck getting RUDY as your appliance expert !!

Excellent selection of major appliances, although current stock is limited. We were able to find the exact refrigerator we needed in stock for $100 less than competitors. Extended warranty is reasonably priced. Outlet warehouse behind main store has a good selection of scratch and dent. Salesman in outlet found our refrigerator in their new inventory. Very helpful and pleasant.

Moved from longtime location in downtown San Diego to present location. Great sales staff but almost no stock due to covid. We didnt care. Not their fault.

Walked in, was told they only carry expensive items and most things will take 4-6 months to get. Then I was shown to the dented can warehouse.I asked the sales person for reasonably priced dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove.Good times. I saw an ad on their website for all 3 items plus microwave for $1950. I was told they could order them, but it would take 4-6 months. There is no indication anywhere that they (Aztec Appliance) have no products to sell you. Just futures that you may or may not get.

Aztec Appliances was the first place my husband and I went to when considering our kitchen refresh. We wanted to support a local company, if we could. We worked with Karen and she was extremely helpful with helping my husband and me figure out which appliances to purchase. We needed all new kitchen appliances but didnt want to break the bank. Karen showed us different models for each appliance and asked if we were comfortable with the price as well as the look of the appliances. She also printed out the specs and provided pricing so we could think about it. We ended up coming back 2-3 weeks later and were able to schedule delivery of all the appliances. All 3 appliances were delivered timely and within the time date and window we were scheduled. The delivery team was courteous and respectful of us and our home [during COVID].

Ordered and purchased appliances back in September. 6 months later I am still waiting for my dishwasher. $10,000 refrigerator has not worked correctly since Day 1. Aztec appliances has done nothing to address the issue. It is the responsibility of the consumer to go through the manufacturer to repair the defective appliance. In addition, Aztec does not offer free appliance installation - something I never experienced and was surprised when I was required to pay >$2000 for delivery and installation of new appliances and removal of old appliances. Overall pricing was not competitive and I would highly recommend you look at other options before shopping at Aztec.

Had 26 cubic feet stainless steele fridge delivered. The delivery guys were great. They were experienced and fully capable of removing the old heavy fridge, and replacing w/ new one. They had to go up stairs w/ the fridges since kitchen in a multi-level house. Pathway for large appliances was tight. they moved the fridges without any damage to the drywall. They removed and replaced the new fridge doors easily and competently. Also I dealt with the same salesperson the whole time and got good correspondence back and forth over period of 10 days up to delivery. This level of service at a fair price is exactly what a landlord needs. thank you.

Aztec Appliance to the rescue!!! I am so grateful for their excellent service, and friendly environment. I was was in a major pickle as one of my vacation rentals ovens went out right before christmas. Its very hard to find a place that had anything for in store pickup. I thought I was out of luck but still determined to keep trying. I called Aztec and they were very helpful. Gave me a GREAT deal and helped me deliver the oven to the house. My handyman was ready to go install. I received so much help and I greatly appreciate. The oven works great! I highly recommend going to Aztec Appliance before going to any other

I love this place! Ive been buying my appliances from Aztec Appliances since 2003. I just recently purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer, and am very happy with it so far. The guys who delivered it were fully masked up with shoe covers. They were friendly, and installed my washer and dryer very quickly. Ill be going back to Aztec soon to look for a kitchen appliance package.

I am so disappointed. Do yourself a favor, go see Nathan at Pacific Sales Morena Blvd. We purchased our Zephyr hood and Viking appliances from them. Very happy. Our Aztec salesman was professional and informative, up until they got our money. We had to chase him down to find out our refrigerator was sitting there for a week. He explained that he had too many messages ! Had to force canceling the order before getting it delivered only to find out they are not licensed Sub Zero installers. So now my long awaited Sub Zero is sitting in our garage while we find and PAY additionally for an installer. I am sorry to say, we will never purchase anything here again.

This is a long overdue review for Aztec Appliance and specifically Kent. We were remodeling our kitchen ourselves, very particular and my husband was doing all the work. Went here to look at several kitchen appliances. Lack of customer service. No one came up to us to greet us, ask us what we were looking for. Several items around the store do NOT have a price tag or information tag on them. A very obese man employee there also did not have his Corona mask covering his nose at all when we approached him- against the law and gross!!!!!! This guy is at high risk and is breathing on customers and merchandise. Either wear your mask properly, or stay home.

Nice place, good people. Their price on a high end range was very competitive, and they have more to offer with personal service than the big box stores. Well take them very seriously.

We had a brand new LG refrigerator installed on Monday. It never worked. Came home from work 24 hours after install and everything was room temperature. Immediately called the store and they told me they could only offer a comparable refrigerator for delivery on Friday. The fridge offered was smaller and did not have a water dispenser. When I asked why a brand new refrigerator would be broken right out of the box I was told sometimes things happen during shipment. I was offered no compensation for our trouble or the $200+ worth of food we had to throw out. We ended up asking for a refund and taking our business elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and do the same.

You can’t ever really predict when your appliances will die on you. Our Fridge decided yesterday was the day and we began the stressful search of finding a new fridge. We tried Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sear’s Outlet, but had no luck finding something that was within our price range AND could be taken home that day. Time was running out, as everything in our freezer had begun to defrost and melt 😣 But then I remembered Aztec Appliance. We showed up at 11 am and had a beautiful new fridge (better than what we had) stocked full of food, by 1 pm. I am so very grateful to Joe, who seriously saved the day. He went above and beyond to help us out so my husband and I could finally stop bickering about refrigerators. If I’m ever in need of an appliance again, this place will be the first place we go! Honestly, one of the worst shopping experiences we’ve had.We needed appliances for the whole house, instead of going to with a big box retailer I wanted to support local business, we picked Aztec because they had a good selection and they said they would have everything delivered and installed within 2 weeks.It’s been over 10 weeks, we are still waiting on the rest of the appliances. Communication is painful with the staff, I cant get simple answers like ETAs or just for someone to call me back.They missed 3 deliveries, one without a notice, I had to call and they said they didn’t come because the order was incomplete. The other 2 were cancelled a day or 2 before the delivery date.During the delivery they showed up but the dryer was damaged so they took it back and that was over a month ago, still no dryer and no sign when it will be delivered.I would not recommend them to anyone, especially not for a big order that would require delivery and installation.

I actually purchased appliances first from Costco but that didnt work out for a long list of boring reasons. Decided local was better, went to Aztec. I got great products, service and delivery. They had a nice selection from budget to luxury. Karen was great to work with, couldnt be happier with the whole experience.

There was a sign at the door requiring masks. Social distancing was in place. All workers had masks!! Everyone was polite. It was overall a great experience.

Lowes wanted 2 weeks to deliver my dish washer. In desperation I checked the local place. They had a similar item in stock and could install it this week. I instantly cancelled my order with Lowes.

Everything was good at the beginning, we got a good deal and set a date to have the appliances and the sales rep kept telling us all of the appliances will be installed within the price (outside our fridge which is a harder job and will be billed). There was a slight misunderstanding and after discussing with the store, they are helping us with an appliance change and we got everything done with the help of Marvin (he is a great person!) and his manager.

Its clear that everyone is very knowledgeable about the products they sell, and I will surely be returning for any appliance needs that I have in the future.

Karen, the employee who worked on my purchase, was extremely helpful in making the experience simple and headache-free. I really didnt know what I wanted at the start, but Karen got me pointed in the right direction, and left several options open so that when I changed my mind, the world didnt have to come to a halt just to accommodate me.

Our refrigerator died last night and I needed a replacement quickly. I was planning to shop around a bit but Aztec had great prices and the guy who helped me (Kent McCaughey) was very knowledgable and provided awesome customer service. He helped me find a replacement that was in stock and even arranged same day delivery - it was delivered and installed 3 hours later! Im a very happy customer and definitely recommend them.

Home depot must be right around the corner. We stood there for 15 minutes and nobody aknowledged our existence. The showroom was sparce. Workers walked by in a hurry not to talk to us. Looked empty. We couldnt figure out why nobody could take a simple yes or no question. Would not reccomend. Glad we dumped our mcdonalds there.

I have purchase appliances here multiple times for my clients. Good prices, good service and quick service.

Priced about 10% over area appliance providers. However, they have a collection no other store has. Other stores can only show you their catalog. Aztec have them on site. I am going to Aztec for my future appliance needs.
