Good range of Indian groceries, pitty to see our own people (clients) who dont have the same discipline when they shop in locals controlled outlets.I failed to understand this not only in here but even in Germany, Middle East and other countries that I have been to ππ€
Was impressed with selection and prices. A trip worth it from OC!
Good selection of items. Bit pricey on coconuts and fresh fruit. Not the cleanest. Could do a lot better on product quality, service and variety of food from south India.
If Indian, then this is the best grocery spot. Very few to none occassions of stale veggies or expired products, thats a plus sign. Area is slightly congested outside as well as inside at peak hours, that is the only downside I feel. Hence awarded one star less.
I found everything that I was looking for. One of the finest Indian grocery store in San Diego. Very well organized and maintained. Items are priced very reasonably. If you are looking for exotic indian raw vegetables (parwal, lauki (indian dudhi), ghiraula( galka), simi(black eye beans), karela, small taro), you can find it here. They also have a variety of frozen snacks, naan and parathas. You can also find several indian brand cosmetics, energy drinks, toothpaste, soaps, hair oil and so on. Also, they have steel cooking untensils and statues of God/Goddess. Do visit if you love Indian/nepalese or south asian food.
Smooth and and timely online ordering/delivery process. Ordered at midnight the dah before and items were at my doorstep by noon the following day, and with a 40+ item order I was impressed with how the bags were organized and that my frozen items were still indeed frozen! Great quality and variety of items - especially spices and millets - and fair prices.
Huge selection of Indian products and produce. Lots of household items from India and surrounding countries. Very clean store very well organized. Prices are a bit higher than similar stores in the area. However, they certainly have a larger selection of food, goods, and household items than any other store in the area
Very good Indian store. Always find everything you like to get. Except one thing I did not find ever and finally had to order through Amazon...Indian Kashmiri Yellow Chilli Powder. May be they will include this to store in near future.
Very huge Indian grocery store! Their are many different products available and so many snacks or farsans available, but the aisles are extremely narrow and the fresh produce section is like a small Black Friday! Too too many people and itβs very crowded and I have to walk all around to get vegetables ! The vegetable section is large but all compacted into small place so crowding always happens! Especially after 5 pm the store is crowded with everyone and no space for anyone and the check out stations are very full and extreme long lines! There is a good amount of old vegetables on the ground by produce section which makes it a bit unpleasant to buy groceries!
Great quality vegetables, good variety of snacks and frozen food. A little more pricey for flour, rice, lentils, dal and spices etc. compared to other Indian stores in the area.
Some of the most legendary drivers in US can be found in their parking lot
Usually very busy on the weekends. They have a very wide variety of Indian grocery items and very competitive prices. Folks are really nice and courteous.
Nice and spacious grocery store. You can get pretty much everything you need for cooking Indian food such as all kinds of masala. Nice collection of spice.
Very good Indian store in San diego. The best thing is they always keep their produce fresh & each time u get everything available.
Best Indian store around. All the Indian groceries and vegetables are available. Masks must.
Miramar was an a around stellar Indian grocery store. Unlike the nearby Akshar cash and carry, my previous go-to Indian grocery store, Miramar was vast and expansive, leaving tons of convenient aisle space for you to traverse. With all this space also came a huge amount of variety for every product sold at Miramar. As such, Miramar felt more like a traditional grocery store. Miramar also had some stellar deals, but there were many things that were grossly overpriced. This was slightly annoying, as youd need to traverse across multiple grocery stores to get a decent deal for every product that you would need.
They have a good selection of items, but the overall shopping experience can be better. The shelves are too close to each other, its difficult to find items on them, the store wasnt very clean, polybags outside the storefront, they had damaged items on sale for full price.
Best mangos ever,,, unbelievable ... Double the quality and less than half the price at Costco ...
Idk whatβs all the hype of this place, maybe because itβs the only βdecentβ Indian store in San Diego.-I wish they run business properly and donβt sell food items full of mold. Yesterday I bought 200 dollars worth of groceries and to my surprise my frozen samosas were full of mold. Means they are not keeping food - under the right temperatures!! Itβs very dangerous health wise for consumers.Also- Prices have increased tremendously since 2020.
Our favorite grocery store compared to the rest in San Diego. We shop there all the time, love the food, freshness, customer service and the price.
Good selection on herbs and spices, though they dont carry garlic powder.
Good variety of Indian foods, spices and sweets. Well organized isles, frozen section is well stocked. Fresh vegetables are of good quality and priced better than store chains. Ample free parking.
Lots of options, I like that, but they need to clean the store. Cashiers are very helpful and friendly.
All Indian products in one place. South, north east and west tastes of India available. Groceries, snacks, savories, vegetables and readymade food items are there. Highlight is the Siva Vishnu temple close by.
Good place for indian groceries ...rare not to find what you are looking for.
Big Indian store with pretty much everything you want
Great place with a good number of options
Best Indian grocery store in San Diego area. They have lots of varieties of Indian vegetables, different brands of frozen food, all pantry items, puja items, Indian soaps, detergents etc. Its a huge store and you can find pretty much anything Indian that youre looking for.. including a broom!
Have been looking for places to buy lentils and spices, but most stores in La Jolla run out of such stock quickly. This grocery store will definitely be the new go to place for large supplies of lentils and certain spices. Also fun to browse the snacks and frozen food sections.
Amazing selection of groceries and fresh produce. They have a wide range of speciality items originating from the Indian subcontinent.
I gave them 4 stars three years ago when moved to San Diego and was overwhelmed by all the material they were providing. But now in the Pandemic, they are not following the maximum capacity guidelines from the county like Trader Joes. One of there employee was not even wearing the mask properly in the store that too when store is full of customers and when confronted his response was I am talking to another employee in the same aisle. After few days of this incident, I was able to notice him again in the same condition (this time mask was even below mouth). This time, I tried to talk to someone from the store but she was like he is may be drinking water, then may be changing the mask and blah blah... After 5 min of frustration, I left and the store is perfectly fine with employee not following the COVID guideline.
Lots south Asian foods to select from. Polite staff at the counter.
Biggest Indian grocery store in san diego near qualcomm. Staff is nice and you will find almost anything you can want. They dont have much variation though sometimes only one type of option for what you are looking for. They have good idols and mandir stuff. It keeps buzzing with Indians everyday. Its little costlier though. Some products are just few months away from expiry, some are even expired and some donβt have date or have been erased I am not sure. They should really take care of this and stock with fresh stuff at reasonable prices. They have good options for vegetables and spices. They should really work on their hours and extend from 9.30 till 10p.m atleast.Be very careful they dont do returns and exchanges. One thing which u may wont like even for utensils.Below pics: knorr soup with expired date, knorr soup without mfg date and lays without mfg date.
A great place to buy indian groceries. Item prices are cheaper compared to other stores in Orange County. The variety of items is vast.
I dont know how roughly a manager of a store can speak to their customers, while customers are the ones whom you are servicing. I had brought two times Haldirams paneer from this store, both were sour and not edible after cooking. When it happened for the first time, though I knew it was something to do with the product, didnt report, but second time I called them to report as it is not acceptable when happened again and again, the manager of Miramar cash and carry spoke to me, I was explaining all the complaints I had and bit frustrated as it happened twice to me, so I told him I should get this item from another store then. But this manager just got back on me saying you can just go to any other store, regarding my complaint he cant help me at all as nobody complained about it. He was kind of doesnt care what I said.
Excellent one stop for all things Indian
Best store in the area. Good selection of food. Crowded at times.
Great place to shop for Indian Grocery, it is a one stop shop for all Indian stuff from different parts of India
A good place to buy Indian groceries. Spices, pulses, rice, oil, wheat floor, pickle and more. Also Indian vegetables okra, bringel, curry leaves, and all others. Frozen samosa, vadapav, Indian sweets etc.Try Vadilal ice cream, Tata Tea powder, Kachori, Ashoka mango pickle, Pravin Udid Papad and lots more.
Great Indian groceries store, best in town
One stop shop for all India spices and veggies ! Very convenient to trace items in the aisle.. billing is super fast. Few changes to consider is to frequently get methi leaves, gongura leaves .. .I truly miss pan ice cream section which doesnt exists anymore..
Its clean and everything is organized. Every staff member is polite and help you whenever you ask them a question.
Always good to get reacquainted with your local area so you can support local businesses! I got what I needed and then some!
If you wanna purchase the best Indian grocery...then this is the place to go.
Hardly write reviews for grocery stores. Would give 3 for variety available. 1 because they arenβt taking Covid seriously enough. Forget disinfection, the checkout counter was the worst bit. No enforcement of social distancing even when customers were attempting to be polite. Lady immediately started scanning next customer after us, mixing their stuff with ours which was yet to be bagged. basically pushing us out and avoiding any way to be distance from the next customer. This was also not a busy time for the store yet such a rush you would think they are completely unaware of the pandemic.Throughout the store you would be looking aisles and stocking staff would graze by you, push large carts by you, start stocking where you were standing with no respect again for social distancing.Ironic considering so many in our Indian community are medical professionals pushing through this crisis - show some respect.
Loved it. I got all Indian groceries.
Single stop shop for all the Indian groceries - becuase they have a store in LA, they are able to order stuff in bulk and reduce cost, passing on the savings to people than other Indian grocery stores in town. Plus there is an Indian temple and few restaurants around.
Fresh vegetables and several Indian groceries are available here. There is a glacier water vending machine too outside the store.
Price gougingSince March 2020, I observed an extreme price increase in almost every item. And literally, I do not care about the price hike in premium products like cheese or ice cream. But when a price hike in everyday items (for example beans and daal) happens it affects common people. So, I started investigating the reason behind it. First, I asked the reason for it to the cashier at the checkout counter (I do not want yo reveal his name) The response was it is because of COVID. Every distributors have increased their price. (BTW Spiceland is in house brand of Miramar cash and carry still the price is high)Being not satisfied with the response I contacted Deep Bhai. The response was it is not because of COVID, but as the government has increased the minimum wedge they had to increase the price of the items. There is a clear disparity between the response. So, I thought lets check the price at other stores.I visited Pioneer cash and carry in Artesia and one of the Indian grocery stores in the bay area.Just for a reference price at Miramar cash and carry for 10lb beans and daal is $16.99 (Photo attached with timestamp)Price of 10lb beans and daal at Pioneer cash and carry in Artesia is $13.49 (photo attached with timestamp)Price of 10lb beans and daal at Indian grocery store in the bay area varies from $10.99 to $13.00 (Photo attached with timestamp)I request you all to ask a question about price increase to the management,Stay safe and stay healthy.
Good grocery store. Well maintained, neat and clean.
Best quality/price ratio for fruit and veggiesLots of choice too, I love this place!
Nice place for indian groceries in San Diego. They have wide range of vegetables, fruits and groceries.
High quality everything
All groceries are expensive then other stores
Very clean store and friendly staff. They have Fresh produce at all times. Great variety of spices and frozen foods. I recently moved to the area and used to shop at corporate Indian grocery stores but this independently owned store is just amazing with Great prices! Highly recommend this independently operated store.
Almost everything you need for Indian cuisine is available here!
They are ripping people off with inflated prices. I am originally from the Silicon Valley Bay Area which happens to be hub for Indian groceries as well. Miramar is much much more costlier than Bay Area Indian groceries. The only good part about this place is the wide availability of Indian groceries. But almost everything is double the money itβs worth. Be careful when you are buying large quantities of groceries. After all this ainβt CostCo or Walmart to give you quality products for the money you pay.
Never wrote a review. But Poor customer service warrants one. I placed an online delivery and picked up the delivery at the store. Did not get an email confirmation.. just a call to my mobile that the order was ready for pick up. Just over a week later, I was just going to open a big packet of peanuts ( pioneer brand .. canβt be from any other store in SD! ) when I noticed through the transparent package that there were some worms inside. By this time I had lost the receipt. I went to the store to get a replacement because it has happened once or twice in the past 8 years before that an item was replaced without receipt. After all, the package is not opened and it is their brand and they are the ones who hand picked the item. I was surprised however when the person in charge ( looked someone new ) least bothered to address the issue and instead was rude and was ready to trash the item right before me. Definitely needs someone to teach what customer service is. Beware when placing an online order. They donβt have any record anywhere of your orders if something goes wrong.
Scam - they are running a scam on having a $5 minimum for card purchases, this is not allowed. Only two businesses have this type of agreement and theyβre not one of them. Take your business elsewhere.
Great Indian market
Best place to shop for Indian groceries in San Diego.
Love this store, largest in the area. Lots of fresh vegetables from India which are normally not found in regular grocery stores. Huge selection of ready made snacks, frozen snacks and frozen vegetables as well. Good spices selection along with flours, lentils, rice and other requisite Indian pantry items. Well laid out. Prices are comparable to any other stateside Indian grocery store.
Good place to shop indian grocery items and snacks
Great Indian store at a good location. Best around the San Diego area.Itβs a huge store with large variety of snacks, fresh vegetables, frozen food, groceries, spices and so on. Good prices, comparable to any Indian store.Friendly and helpful staff.
Very well organized and fresh veggies and fruits if you need indian ones
I have been a customer of Cash n Carry for the past 5 years however had a pretty bad experience. If they are sending the wrong product which is their fault by the way, they are expecting the customer to come physically and return/replace the product. They have started the online delivery however dont know the basics of online experience.Specially considering the pandemic situation, its a pretty bad experience. Before when online service was not available with Cash n Carry, we were ordering through Namaste Plaza and never faced any such issues . This is the first time we ordered and looks like this was the last time. Highly disappointed.
Great selection of Indian grocery and Indian food items!!
It was a great experience shopping at his supermarket. Found everything I needed decently priced in one place. The orientation is an appropriate and easy place to shop.
Good selection of indian veggies
Good choice but poor service
Good service
The place is good for grocery shopping. But they dont give free bags to customers. Where they say dont bring bags inside cash n carry. Where other grocery stores r giving free plastic bags to customers.
Good prices and variety.
One stop shop for all the Indian groceries!! Fresh vegetables at reasonable price.
This place has most Indian products one would need. Great selection of products in the frozen section. Relatively fresh produce and several India specific produce available that are seldom available at other stores. They even have points based reward system wherein points are accumulated over time/purchases. Never had the chance to accumulate sufficient to redeem those points, though.
Extensive choice of produce, just recently started going here due to recommendation from friends and family and couldnβt be happier. Prices are competitive, neatly arranged and organized and good customer service. They have specials for Diwali. Would def recommend.
Very neat and clean. Staffs are not helpful at all. Prices are always different from shelves to counter. They need pay attention to staff and prices.
Terrible service and terrible staff -very much annoyingThis is my second time experience on getting wrong product while ordering online and pickup at store. Their people put wrong product into the bag and when I called to inform and ask to return for the refund. I went 10 days later to refund non perishable item they refused to take back and no refund. Conservatively 2 time I got the same experience. Instead apologizing of their mistakes staff behave that I made a mistake and I owe them.I will go no back to the store and beware of the people order online or pickup.
Big Indian super market in San Diego. Here we can get all kinds of Indian grocery.
Great place for indian groceries. They have a large selection of Indian food and they do carry everything such as spices, fresh produce, snacks and frozen Indian food. One of the best places to shop. Nice location in Miramar.
Great collection of produce and frozen ready made foods!
Suggestion during Covid 19 pandemic : Should consider packaging the openly laid out vegetables. People wearing gloves (God knows what all they touched) during this Covid situation are easily passing the bacteria and possibly the virus from their gloves to the openly laid out many vegetables especially the ones they have to pick and choose from. Something to think about.
The lifeline of any Asian in San Diego! Miramar Cash & Carey is the one stop solution for all of your motherland cravings. The wide collection of fruits & vegetables is amazing and there is constant effort from the management to maintain quality as well. The staff is friendly and are always there to help you.
Ok market you can find a lot of Indian snacks ; I canβt complain for the things that I got there ; the papaya and vegetables I got were fresh ; kind of little expensive but food taste fresh; I would come back to this place if I want Indian snacks or bread ; itβs pretty good.
I have to give the store workers and the management 5 stars for keeping everything stocked up during these tough times with the virus. Thanks for your service to community. Was happy shopping here before but even more so now. Give the store workers support and thanks when you visit.
Best place in San Diego for Indian groceries. You get everything you want at decent prices. Of all the Indian items Iβve ever wanted, Iβve found 99.9% of them here, with the only exception being tulsi leaves (they had tulsi powder though!)
Nice store with almost all Indian stuff. Indian grossarry is easily available. Must visit.
Great place for quick shopping
Very Nice and Convenient Store. Staff is Very Helpful when you ask for Help . We shop for our 5 Houses . Since it is Opened. Very good Experience .
Love this place.
Decent place to find Indian grocery. They dont accept cards for items less than 5 dollars, but you probably will be purchasing much more. Place could be more organized, took me a while to find soya beans for example, but the store guys know their store well. Biggest con: no meat :(
