Its hard to find an honest, friendly and trustworthy shop these days. As a first time customer, Boris was very attentive to my car throughout the service. He also addressed a water pump leak which needed to be replaced. Because the car was still under warranty, he strongly recommended that I contact a VW dealer directly to get it replaced, and I did the next day. This was above and beyond customer service. Without hesitation, I would definitely recommend Boris to friends and colleagues that own VW or Audi cars.

The service was promt and good quality. The owner answered all my questions in depth and replaced oil draining plug for no charge. Tips and advice for long term health of the vehicle was also provided!

This is the best auto service shop Ive ever been to, and I used to work at one. If you have an Audi or Volkswagen dont take it anywhere else. Boris and the team are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and offer great service at a fair price. Wouldnt trust my Audi with anyone else.

I used to take my Audi A3 to Boris at Autoexel when I was a student at UCSD. Im from out of state so I was apprehensive about finding a good repair guy in the area.The first time I took the car in was for a check engine light, always stressful. Dale took a look and informed me it was due to a dried out gas cap that would be a $25 dollar repair, such a relief and a sign of an honest mechanic!I recommend this place to all of my UCSD friends and would still be going there if I lived in the area, I still enjoy receiving their fun holiday cards though!

I have been coming to this shop for years with my VW Golf and never had a bad experience there. Boris, the owner is extremely knowledgeable and very detail oriented, his prices are reasonable, he will treat your car like his own. I highly recommend him.

Sooooo a year later and these guys are still GREAT! They are genuine & knowledgeable. I have two cars and they service both of them. They treat you like family (Im talking about the family members who you can trust and depend on). Recently I took my car in to be serviced & needed to get back home. They dropped me off even though they were really busy. They go above and beyond if they have the resources to do so.

I went in for a 40k mile service. Boris was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything before and after the service. He advised me on items that should be replaced right away and those that could wait. He even popped the hood to show me which fluid levels to keep an eye on. I will definitely be back!

I was referred to this Auto Shop by the dealership that sold me my VW GTI MK6. Ive had nothing but problems with this car. I told his what symptoms were going on, misfiring, oil leaks, loss of power under throttle, oil pressure sensor malfunctioning. Also, Im having issues with my transmission but I just wanted to check the fluid level. Word for word the shop owner I assume told me take your car else where! We are not looking for major projects. I cant help you. then hung up. I seriously could not believe a business owner would treat the customer of a dealership who they send over numerous vehicles for repairs. He wouldnt even give me a freaking diagnostic. I guess he wasnt up for the challenge. Ill take my $1500 else where. I dont deserve to be treated like a child. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE SHOP ATTITUDE.
