We bought our 2020 CX-5 Grand Touring Trim model 4 weeks ago. Last week the hatch back got a bad/deep scratch in our garage. We contacted the folks at John Hine CARSTAR and scheduled an appointment. We dropped off our CX-5 yesterday at 8am. It was repaired and ready for pickup right on time later that morning.Although the repair work was somewhat minor, the staff at John Hine CARSTAR were all very professional and pleasant. Taylor the damage estimator was very easy to work with. He never rushed the conversation and was concerned for everyones well being as he thought the damage was the result of an auto accident. Adriana was also very polite and professional when we returned to pick up our vehicle. She walked us thru the repairs that were completed and made sure we were happy with the results. David was the tech that performed the work and repairs, and it should be noted that he did an excellent job. The previously damaged area on the hatch looks completely new. As new as 4 weeks ago when we purchased it.We went to the parts and service department after picking up our vehicle to purchase a dash cover. Rafael walked us thru the colors and options and helped us find the cover that was just right for our new car. He too was very pleasant and professional. He never appeared distracted by his cell phone or talking with other employees. He gave us his full attention and told us he would contact us when our dash cover arrived. He sent us off by telling us to enjoy the rest of our day.Everyone we dealt with at John Hine took really good care of my wife and I. While I was out of country, my car was keyed leaving a long scratch and small dent on the drivers side rear door and quarter panel. My wife and daughter contacted our insurance carrier and then took the car to CARSTAR John Hine to have the repairs completed. The work was done professionally and I picked up car today. Thank you to Taylor and staff for coordinating directly with our insurer and keeping me up to date on the status of the work!

Most importantly, the quality of their work has always been very high. They are thorough in there inspections and always very clear when communicating what the consumer can expect. That being said, the quality of their communication on this trip has dropped off slightly. My inspector, this trip, did not follow up, as even he said he would.

I am very impressed with the major body work repairs completed here. My newish SUV (Mazda CX-9 Signature) was caught in a freak hail storm and we thought it was totaled - nearly every exposed surface had dents and extensive damage. CARSTAR John Hine made it look completely brand new again! They had to undertake extensive PDR, replace quite a few parts, and paint. We couldn’t believe the results! Flawless! Their attention to detail is astounding. They were very communicative throughout the 4 weeks of repairs, they worked seamlessly with the John Hine Service Center to take care of a few mechanical issues at the same time, and they worked with our insurance no problem. Can’t say enough good things about this place, I’m glad we chose this shop. Highly recommend!

Dropped my car off to be detailed as it had a bit of overspray paint on it. Was able to drop my car off in the morning and was on my way in a courtesy vehicle in a short time. They are quick and efficient and definitely put customer service at the top of their priorities.

They did an excellent job of repairing, and painting my right rear bumper/panel. They also had to order a new blind spot monitoring system as that was severed when the car was hit. The car looks beautiful and the monitoring system is working perfectly. They kept me in the loop through the whole process. I am very happy with the customer service and the workmanship. I would definitely recommend Carter for all your repairs.

Came highly recommended after i was the victim of a hit and run. They took my vehicle and worked with the insurer so that i didnt have to deal with the additional issues that werent apparent from the initial estimate. They were thorough and Taylor especially kept me in the loop as to the progress of the repairs and made sure that they were done with genuine parts. The paint job was flawless. John Hine is the place to go for any work done. I noticed a deep scratch on my car after getting work done, and they fixed it right up good as new. They are kind and respectful, and the paint job was flawless.

The entire experience with Carstar was awful.I signed up for daily notifications on updates to my car, I didnt get any. I had to hassle the representative for updates whenever I wanted. I had to take my new car in for a busted windshield and a scratch on my bumper from a collision with a bike.When they returned the car, they returned it in a poor state. They fixed the major damage but failed to fix the smaller damage associated with the accident. They left large, unmissable marks from the accident on the license plate. When I mentioned this, the rep had the audacity to say that it rubs off easily and couldve done it myself. I wouldve happily removed the scuffs myself if I didnt have to come back to have the hood properly fixed and remove the NEW SCRATCHES the John Hine had added to my car while replacing the windshield.They also decided to only partially buff my hood, leaving odd smears.My car was with John Hine collision for about a month and they STILL didnt properly fix my car after all that time. Super upsetting to have to point out everything they missed after all this time.I wont be coming back and cannot recommend anyone come here.

This collision/repair center and the representatives are amazing! I previously had my car repaired at another shop only to find out that the other shop didn’t complete certain repairs they claimed and did a poor job on other aspects of the repair. Fortunately, my insurance approved me to take my car to Carstar John Hine Collision Center to properly repair my vehicle. I worked primarily with Anthony and Hilder - these guys are amazing!! They completed the repairs within three days. They also recommended some additional repairs that were never completed properly by the other shop. They made me feel safe in my vehicle. I have complete confidence in the knowledge, expertise, and I am thrilled with their amazing customer service!!

From the moment I called Hines Mazda for the repair of my brand new CX-5 SUV as advised by the dealership that sold it to me 1 week earlier, I knew that the experience qt John Hine would be first rate. I had an appointment with the body shop to estimate the fender bender damage set for two hours later. At the appointment within an hour an a half the body shop there took care of everything (as did, I might add, Allstate Insurance who called me, helped me download an app and did the inspection on my phone!). The estimate was complete, I had a loan car and was out the door. I just picked it up and the body work looks pristine. Im 100% pleased and will be a John Hines customer in the future.

Actual work done is good. Unfortunately There was delays in repairs took an extra two weeks. Text updating system was useless. Just a bunch of excuses, lucky rental was covered by insurance. Final price 2.5 times higher than quote also covered by insurance
