I drove in with my Camaro 2015, I went over a pot hole and my tire went inwards and some bumper damage. Thankfully I had insurance so I just had to pay my deductible. Louie took my car in and I cannot express how excellent of a job he and his team did on my car. Im beyond satisfied and content with the quality of work, customer service and professionalism. Absolutely amazing service! This was my first time getting into a minor collision. Was referred to this shop by BMW San Diego, CA as they are a certified BMW shop. Interacted with Ray who made the entire process so smooth. He immediately contacted me, hopped on a call to explain the process after looking at the damage on my car.

Pure incompetency, very shady!I went there 4 days a go to get a quote to send to my insurance for their approval. Tyler supposed to send me a quote, never did. I emailed him 3 days in a row with no response. Than I called today and he said he can’t give me a quote until he gets the car apart!! Woww, I been to body shops many times, never heard this before, what a shady place! Stay away.

They did a great job on my tacoma after it had been in an accident. Wanted to get some paintwork done on my tundra and they wouldn’t even talk to me about the work. Trying to paint match a grill to the rest of the truck and they just shrugged me off saying they can’t paint over chrome. The truck pieces are not even chrome they’re plastic and peopleHave these parts painted all the time. But without even talking to me about it they just got off the phone with me. Probably not “worth their time.” They were more than helpful though when they collected 18k from the insurance company for my tacoma.

Look I know nothing about cars or auto accidents, which is what brought me to this auto body shop. I was referred to Chapperone by my lawyer after being in an auto accident. I do however know a thing about customer service, they made it extremely easy and flexible for me to drop off and pick up my car. They answered every call and question I had. They also kept in contact with the insurance company to keep them updated. Shout out to rick for calling me and updating me with great news and realistic time frames. My dad who has worked in the car industry before commented on how amazing my car looked after being fixed and the short amount of time they got it done. 10/10 staff! They also seem to be taking the pandemic seriously and adhering to the regulations to keep others safe, which I appreciate !

Very old school approach a company founded on the familys of building painting and racing cars ...when you stop in look at the pictures on the wall, thats what this Body Shop is about ...I know, I had my car bodys worked on ...They matched my car which was 2006 Avalon pearl white..It was a 3 part paint match, it came out perfect ...1 yr later it stull looks perfect ...

Rick and his staff are second to none. From the moment I dropped my car off I was informed of the the process and reassured my vehicle was in good hands. I was kept updated on a regular basis in real time on the progress of the repairs. Not only did they finish early they did such an amazing job it’s impossible to tell it was ever in an accident. There were text updated on the status of my vehicle. It was finished and looks beautiful again ahead of schedule. My car was hit and run while parked and it turns out they did a lot of damage. I have Geico and decided to go to an unrelated shop because I expected a better job. I spoke to 3 shops and Rick was the most helpful and gave me the highest estimate. I was doubtful that hed get Geico to pay up but he did and they paid for about 7k of work versus the 3k estimate the Geico shop gave me.Rick was also the most friendly and helpful in answering any of my questions which was another reason I decided to go with Chapparone.These arent big enough issues to not recommend them but Ill note that when I picked up my car I noticed the mirror cap wasnt on fully so Rick took the car for a few minutes and fixed it. A few days later I noticed the side panel of my back door wasnt fully attached but that was easy to fix. Other than that the car looks great and I would go back to Chapparone for any future issues!

We used Chapparone’s service for repairs to our Subaru CrossTrek when it was in an accident. AAA towed it there directly, and from the moment they had it, I was kept in close communication regarding the process. Louie notified me when it arrived, addressed my concerns during each interval, and completed the repairs 2 weeks earlier than AAA’s estimated date! They did such a beautiful job that when I got it back, I could barely recognize my own car because it was nicer than how it looked prior to the accident! They cleaned it inside and out, Louie provided me with an Uber ride to pick it up when it was done, and mailed me a handwritten thank you note a week later with a Starbucks gift card. I mean, this is just unheard of these days and I appreciated every gesture of their excellent customer service. They stand behind their work and value your experience, and it shows. Was looking for a body shop to handle the repairs on my wifes 2018 Crosstrek that was dinged up pretty good about a month ago. This shop came highly recommended from an old friend of mine so I called and made an appointment. I dropped off my wifes car on a Thursday, was greeted by a very friendly young lady at the front desk, she got me with the estimator Louie within a few minutes. Again very friendly and professional gentleman, he thoroughly assessed the damage on the car and immediately had a plan in motion to get the repair going. I handed him the information of the responsible parties insurance and the car key and honestly it was that simple. Best part, Enterprise was 2 doors down and had a rental waiting for me. I got timely updates from Louie via email (which in my book when you work full-time, works great), six days later he emailed car was ready to go. Talk about efficient. Showed up to pick up wifes Subaru and couldnt be happier with the final product. Honestly the car looked brand new again, the workmanship was top notch. Being a married man of 20 years and one who adores his wife. I couldnt wait for her to see her car. I knew she was going to very very happy with the way her baby turned out. So thank you to the entire staff from the reception, estimators, body and paint, management and ownership. Oh and also another added bonus, there tends to be a lot of stereotypes about paint/body shops out there that are unfortunately true. Chapparone isnt one of them. The parking lot, the entryway, the front reception area, every part of that building and outside area is super clean and well maintained. Definition of this review trustworthy, quality, friendly and professional.

I rear ended another auto in early March and since the hood was buckled, I could not drive my car. It was towed to a lot which gave me overnight to try to find an auto body business that I trusted my beautiful little Honda to. I read reviews for about three hours that night and settled on Chapparone Auto Body & Painting based upon the numerous great reviews. Boy did I luck out! Not only did Chapparone do a superior job on my car which needed work on both doors, the hood, radiator, grill, a/c condenser...(you get the picture!) My car was returned to me in all honesty looking better than it did when I bought it a few months earlier. Not only is their work superior, but the office staff were wonderful, even paying for my Uber from downtown San Diego to their shop. I also think they put in a good word with the car rental next to them because I got a wonderful rental during the time my car was being worked on. Their work is guaranteed and the paint is guaranteed for life. Their attention to detail was superb. I just received the nicest thank you note with a Starbucks gift card from them for letting them do the work on my car. I felt that I was the one who should have sent the thank you note. I highly highly recommend Chapparone auto Body & Painting, and can think of nothing that they could improve upon. I would take my car back to them in a heartbeat!

Excellent work, professional associates. Louie Avalos is a customer service oriented associate. I watched him assist a young lady that ran into a pole. She had a slight ding and yellow paint all over her bumbper. He asked her to wait a minute and he came back with a solution and removed the yellow from her car. The young lady asked him what she owed him. He smiled and said. When youre ready come back and we can take care of the ding for you. Anywhere else would have charged her. Or given her an estimate and done nothing else.The smile on the young ladys face was priceless. She couldnt thank him enough. An honest, and compassionate employee.I can understand why there stalls are full.

I have the misfortune of needing a body shop and painting for my expensive imported vehicles for the last 8 years and they have consistently finished earlier than expected and my vehicles looked like new, as if it never had any body work. Took my F250 crew cab, long bed with a matching shell, into Chapparone for a complete paint after a fire hydrant dumped water rocks and debris on my truck for almost an hour. Mark had every little chip and dent removed, replaced the hood and windshield and then did an amazing paint job. All new badges and some mouldings and trim and my truck looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Thanks for making my 99 look like new again. Just got my baby back from Chapparone and seriously my mouth dropped when I saw it. My car looks amazing!!!! Not only did they repair the damage from my car accident flawlessly but they also repaired this rusted ugly dent Ive had on my car for like 3 years since it was near the damage. My insurance covered it too which was AWESOME. That thing would have cost me like $500-$900 to fix on my own! Plus they vaccumed and detailed my car on the inside and shined up the outside before giving it back. Im telling you I fell in love with my car all over again. It hasnt looked this good since I first bought it!These people have great customer service skills and really make you feel taken care of. They made my whole experience so great. Unfortunately having to change my review after a horrible experience regarding repairs and customer service. Today I experienced the worst customer service in my lifetime. When attempting to pay for my services over the phone I was instructed they do not take credit card phone payments. I was shocked an established business in 2019 doesnt take credit card payment especially when their customers cannot be onsite to pick up their vehicle in person. Anyhow I asked the receptionist if there were any other options, e.g. could I have the vehicle picked up early and pay after work on my way home. Mind you Ive used their services faithfully 4x now, submitted raving reviews online, recommend to friends family etc. The receptionist, with indignation wasnt willing to support me in anyway. Having dealt with her indignation on several occasions whilst waiting 2+ months to get a proper quote on my vehicle for other damages, I reached my limit. With a stern but non hostile approach I expressed my discontent with the service. At that point she decided to send me to the owners phone, I waited what seems like an eternity to no avail. At that point I had to leave my office and drive 20 mins one way to pay in person. On my way I received a phone call from Mark Chapparone, owner, who proceeded to berate me for my hostile conversation with his receptionist. Apparently she was so distressed she cried and he had to send her home. Upon my arrival the receptionist Summer was cheerfully receiving customers without a shred of evidence of prior weakened emotional state. After receiving and inspecting my vehicle, that wasnt repaired 100% correctly, I proceeded to pay my bill. I expressed my sorrow and discontent with Lisa very nice and professional individual who set the foundation for my continued business I had almost all front office experiences her on multiple occasions without issue. She informed me that Summer stated I dropped F-bombs during our prior call. This is a complete fabrication from an obviously overly dramatic individual. It would be completely unrealistic and inappropriate for me to speak in such a manner especially at my corporate offices where the call took place.A few mins later we had a friend collect our car, I was informed by my friend that Summer, again still at work, hadnt gone home. Apparently she wasnt so despondent and still had enough hostility left in her to be rude to my friend. This mind you was before she even knew they were there to pick up my vehicle.In conclusion, I wanted to be as transparent as possible here, this business obviously prioritizes and protects dishonest employees over their paying loyal customers. I have one vehicle they worked on that has visible repair areas showing through the paint. It looks like the filler they used wasnt sanded to a fine grit and I can see the grainy texture of heavy grit sand paper. It looks like they didnt take the time to properly block it and fine sand. Im probably butchering the terms but I can tell you it doesnt look factory. Mark Chapparone took back the vehicle for a high polish, that improved it a bit but still not factory. He blamed the issue on California paint standards that do not meet the factory paint qualities. As for my recent repair, the repair quote included antenna replacement but what they repaired was the antenna base, not the whole antenna assembly. I didnt push the issue further, after being berated by the owner I decided best to get my vehicle out of their shop ASAP. Be warned for those seeking business at this Mom & Pop establishment, they dont stand behind their work or customer care.

This shop was on the list of shops backed by USAA, they did an awesome job on my vehicle, (getting OEM parts for the repairs on my Challenger) they also did a great paint job. This shop made everything easy and seamless, my customer service experience was outstanding, thank you Tal. I would highly recommend anyone to go to them.

My first review I’ve ever given, and I’m sad to say but I gave these people a call, a lady answered and sounded very rushed and irritated. I asked how much it would be to get my car repainted and she said “Hold on”, then proceeded to put me on hold for a few minutes.A man answered. “How may I help you?” In the most passive aggressive voice I’ve heard from any customer service.I asked again in a friendly tone, “Hi, I’m wondering how much it will be to get my car repainted?”He responds, “That’s a very vague question but it will be around 4,000 and up.”Then I ask “Okay would it help if I give you the model of my car?”Then he HANGS UP.I hate to complain but this customer service makes me not want to visit this place.It’s obvious the people I talked to do NOT like their job. I hope the other employees are not like this.Dec. 4th 2017 @ 9 AMHopefully the employee or employer will see this and shape up. Sales are all about customer service and I was not satisfied with this.

Someone at work backed into my 4Runner and scraped the bumper up... completely cosmetic and paint was removed. I stopped by and was greeted by the owner Mark Sr. He approached me and helped me out since I pulled into the wrong part of the shop. Mark Sr. was really approachable and honest. I went to a few locations and overall I liked the following...1. Mark Sr. was a nice guy and was very honest, and its a family owned business2. He quoted me fairly and was very thorough explaining the process and gave me realistic expectations of the work3. There were quite a few higher end vehicles which tells me the quality of work4. The turn around time was reasonableSince this wasnt an insurance claim and it would be paid by the person responsible, I was looking for a quote that wasnt over the top but still quality work. I went to Caliber Collision, Penske Auto Group, and bumperdoc. BumperDoc wanted to do a spot repair which wasnt what I was looking for. Penske is the logical choice because they handle all the dealership body work and use all factory parts. I decided on Chapparone because they quote was more reasonable and a family owned and operated business.I picked up my 4Runner today and Im very pleased with the work. The quality of work is superb, absolutely can not tell there was any damage. They also detailed my vehicle for me and it looks amazing.My only concern is that once I got home I noticed 2 smudge marks on the front bumper and front quarter panel. I cleaned off one smudge on the corner panel and it seems like that spot left behind lightened the underlying paint. Im hoping its nothing major. Maybe im being OCD about it.Despite the small smudge marks (whatever they may be) I plan on recommended this business to anyone who asks for a recommendation or needs some body work done. The process was easy from beginning to end and Im 99% satisfied with the work.

Hello everyone :- just want everyone to recognize this shop and start sending business this way.- our car was side swiped on Sunday- i called in Monday morning ( thanx giving week ) shortest business week of the year and spoke to Chris, he said to bring it in ASAP so we did.- he took our car without ant prior notice- the car needed at least one full week of work to get done- we had to have it back by no longer than black Friday morning- Chris said that is a very very short notice but let me try- we got a call back on Wednesday 1pm saying that the car was ready.- i didnt beleave the message and rushed over there to check out what kind of a job was that to find out what an OUTSTANDING EXCELLENT QUALITY & PAINT to the point i was shocked and looked at it over and over trying to find something to complain about but couldnt find anything but AWSOME WORKSMANSHIP AND PERFECT MATCHING BODY LINES. i then shut up and walked back inside to thank them i tried to hide my smile but i couldnt.- did i forget to mension i am the owner of an automotive repair shop in san diego ( mechanical )- I would advise and recommend this Bodyshop to anyone that may need body or paint.- its better to know them in case u ever need them than to need them and not know them.- i put them in my cell phone speed dial as THE BODY SHOP. U should too cause good work needs to be recognized by everyone. thank you for converting OUR problem to a JOYFUL EXPERIENCE :)
