My insurance company recommended this place to get my windows replaced after someone broke the front windshield and another door glass. They reported to our insurance that the repairs were fixed on a Saturday afternoon, then called me to tell me they still needed to vacuum and clean the car, so I would not be able to get my car until Monday. Costing me two extra days on my rental car. When I did get my car, it was filthy, they didn’t wipe down the car at all, and there was foot prints on my seats. When I asked why the crew were allowed to step on our seats and not put plastic down to protect our interior from the work being done to the windows, I was only given an apology. After I got home I realized I was missing a few items out of my car, I called the shop and was asked to again look through my car as the team wouldn’t take personal items. Five minutes later the shop called and confirmed someone took my items out of the car. The only reason this shop got three stars and not one, was due to Chris and his customer service. However, I will not be returning for any further work.

Integrity, amazing work, and stuck to their schedule. Small mom and pop family that has core values. Chris was very friendly and personable. Repaired my rear bumper on time.Once thing that stuck out, I noticed a scratch on the bottom side of my side skirt. Told Chris that I wash my car weekly and know every scratch on it. He said to me, We will fix it for you and get it to you by tomorrow. This was in the heat of the pandemic and small businesses were struggling. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. Had a dent and paint chip on drivers side fender. They removed the dent, aligned the panel, and paint matched a 3 stage paint color (pearl white) perfectly. Did the entire job very quickly and damage is unnoticeable. Would recommend and come back again.

Excellent repair shop - would highly recommend. Needed minor repair work to front bumper. Easily made appointment for estimate, staff was immediately helpful and efficient. Visit took less than 5 minutes. He said he would have to check on the price of the items needed and get back to me that afternoon, and did within a couple of hours. Able to bring the car in the next day, repairs completed in 2 days and on time. Also final price matched the estimate. Would definitely use them again.

I picked up the car and it looked brand new!! They cleaned up the interior and gave my car a hand wash. I would highly recommend this family owned business to everyone I know.

My 2015 Honda Accord was rear ended, which left my back bumper damaged and partially dangling. I came back to this shop since I had a very positive experience my first time (also had to replace my bumper). Chris was able to give me a quote quickly and resolved the charges with my insurance so that I didn’t pay anything out of pocket. The job was done perfectly and in a timely manner. I hope I don’t need to fix my car again anytime soon, but if I do I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing customer service. I ran over a traffic cone on the freeway and had broken off my front grill. I bought a new part online and just needed help putting it on. Not only did they put the piece on right away, they helped secure the sides of my front bumper that had come loose.I had seen their great reviews on Yelp and my experience was just as good as everyone says it’ll be. These guys are honest, helpful and very efficient.While I obviously hope I don’t run over anything else in the future, I’ll be coming back here if I do.

Great body shop to go to. Quick, efficient, and high quality work. My truck got hit on the left panel of the bed pinching off the filler neck for the gas tank. The agent from AAA in charge of my claim was being a pain in the butt. However when I was finally able to bring the truck in they didnt even have to replace the whole bed they just changed out the panel (I never knew that was possible) and had it painted and back to me in just a few days. Absolutely incredible. 100% would recommend. Added bonus is their amazing office lap dog Titus!!!

Our car was recently in a fender bender that needed minor repairs. Not knowing the area we were referred to Deluxe Auto Body. Thomas and his team are saints! He worked with us; I sent pictures via email and had an estimate the same day. Dropped off the car on a Saturday and he said it should be done Thursday. I called Wednesday (day before it was to be ready) to confirm they were still on schedule. Thomas said because of the rain tomorrow we cant paint and itll take a couple extra days. Understandably, we couldnt get angry; he has no control over the weather.To our amazement, I got a call from them Thursday saying the car was ready to be picked up. I said, I thought you couldnt paint today! His team member said we had enough light yesterday to finish the job, plus looks like the rains in the forecast for longer than we thought. I Didnt let the looks of the place fool me since the highest quotes for repair I had gotten up until this point came from the high-end looking shops. -- I pulled in and met Thomas, the owner. He was very personable and up front about the repairs and the work involved. I got a very good vibe and decided to let this place do the repairs. I was told it would take a week--and they were done in 3 days! I didnt need it that fast, but the owner told me they are trying hard as a small business to do a good job and keep customers happy. The repairs were flawless -- and the guarantee superb. My whole right side looks brand new. These guys actually work through weekends AND holidays to get the work done. WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND Expectations and a great price for all the work done. The reviews on Yelp and elsewhere are accurate --- Just have these guys work on your car -- you WILL be satisfied.

After my second accident, I decided to find a better body shop.I saw that these guys have good reviews and decided to take my car there. My car was almost totaled and I didnt even expect my car to work and look as good as new, but when I picked up my car after the fix I couldnt believe my eyes. It looked like new. I have been driving it for a week since I got my car from Deluxe Auto Body and it runs and feels like I was never involved in an accident with it LOL.Also whenever I called them during the fix process, they answered my call and kept me updated. My car feels and looks like new now. I highly recommend them!

I had a big crack on my windshield and when I tried to replace it, safelite refused to do service on my car since I had rust at the top. So I went around town to find a place that could actually fix my car within my budget. A few places were going to charge me about 1200 (which I thought it was ridiculous).Then I went online and read the reviews about Deluxe Auto body and thought, maybe this place could help me out and since it wasnt that far from my house it was even more brownie points since i could drop off my car and just walk home.When I got there, I was immediately greeted with smiles and didnt have to wait long at all for someone to give me their attention. The Owner, was super friendly and told me what needed to be done. At first i was skeptical about the price since it was really low, but it was all I could have afford at that time So I went with it.They also insisted that I was to be given a ride home from them since I lived so close so that was a plus.When I came back to pick up my I couldnt believe my eyes. It was as if I had bought from the dealer ship, only better. They vacuumed my car and everything just looked like it was all brand new !!If i ever decided to get an auto repair again, Id go here. the pricing is affordable and you get the service you need ! The only place I trust to get any paint work done in San Diego. With my S2000 and M3 having minor bumper scratches and chipping, Thomas, Chris and the team at Deluxe were able to refinish and match the paint flawlessly, and reinstall and line up the hood, fenders etc. within a very reasonable amount of time. Although not actually being a repair, and based off of the quality and attention to detail I witnessed during my visit to see progress. The work being done on other cars in the shop, as well as the finished products of other cars. I can assure you that your car will be repaired the RIGHT way and to standard. You will not be disappointed.

Thomas Nguyen is an amazing person who has built a skilled organization with a strong team work approach. They have repaired two of my cars. They made my 83 toyota look like new after repairing quite a bit of rust. I had my 93 Mercedes wet sanded and buffed. It sparkles like a gem. I recommend this shop to anybody that loves their car.

It is the feedback from customers about quality of work that does the selling for them and I experienced it first hand.By the time my car was repaired, I was out of country on travel. They agreed to keep my car in their garage till I return (almost 3 weeks later) and did not charge me anything extra for having the car in their garage for the additional days.

We had a great experience getting body work done here. Thomas and Chris took good care of us and our car. We had many dents, scrapes and recent self-inflicted damage that we wanted to pay out of pocket for to make our 2012 Honda Accord nicer to drive for a while longer. We got bids from three well-respected/reviewed places in town, Chapparone, Darbys and Deluxe. We learned a lot from our research and getting the estimates. We compared the estimates by hourly rate and line items to make sure they were covering the same things. Deluxe had the lowest hourly rates (Darbys was next, then Chapparone) and their estimate was lower because they use aftermarket parts and try to reuse parts that are not broken rather than just automatically starting fresh with everything. While any of the three places would likely have done great work, since the car is 7 years old, using Deluxe was our best option and the aftermarket parts would be okay. What we had learned about them is they dont always fit as well and this was true in one case; the sheathing underneath the front quarter panel was not as well made and the install was not quite as smooth, but acceptable to us and not noticeable to most people. The body work and paint blending was exceptional and the car looks great! Weve had it back 2 weeks now and took it on a trip to Santa Barbara with no problems.

I bought a used 2004 986 Boxster S and the rear spoiler cover was missing, this is relatively common for Boxsters of that vintage. I bought the OEM replacement part and took it to Deluxe for paint. Thomas spent a good deal of time getting the paint match right, who would have thought that black would need a paint match. Thomas did a great job on the paint and even installed the new part on the car when it was done.The paint match is perfect and I cant tell the part was ever replaced.Even with the paint match and installation they honored their initial estimate.

In 09 I took my 08 Honda Accord in to fix my hood. They did a great job on my car and the paint was amazing. My car was black with blue sparkles in the paint and he made it look like it never happened. I traded my car for a 13 Honda Accord coupe v6 orchid white. My car was hit and the whole left side of my car had to be fix. I thought it was best for my new car to go to a really fancy place to get it fixed Penske they had coffee, office assistance, AC, a waiting room with TVs and you name it. The job they did on my car was 3star rating. Paint was bad and they damaged the inside of my car, there were so many employees I didnt know who really worked on my car. This time around i took my car back to DELUXE AUTO BODY and again... Great job on the paint and service. No need to show off with coffee and huge facilitys, in the end we all want one thing and its someone who really knows how to fix cars and do it with passion and professionalism like DELUXE AUTO BODY.

I had a really good experience here. Came after my buddy backed into my car in the parking lot, damaging the paint on my front bumper. The first place I visited (sunroad collision) said the repair would take 3 days and cost $800. My buddy suggested this place instead. They quoted us half the price and said theyd only need to keep my car for a day and a half; then they even finished ahead of schedule (end of the same day). Bumper looks like new. The guys who run the shop seem legit. Id recommend them.

Do not second guess yourself with this one. if you are 5 10 even 25 miles away this is the shop you need to go to if you need anything done to your car. They easly had 10 maybe 15 cars (maybe more they were always busy) and managed to get my car done with in 3 weeks (mainly due to my insurance) super fast, very inexpensive and their attention to detail is remarkable. You will have to be lying to yourself to give them anything other than a perfect score.

Really personable, down-to-earth and credible technicians that got the job done! I had several scratches and dents that they fixed and polished including the side panel of my driver-side door that Deluxe corrected after a Mercedes dealership in La Jolla messed up a paint job on my BMW 335i convertible. Interior detailing job matched the quality and attention to detail that they did for the outside of my car. The beamer looks brand new like the day I drove it off the lot.

I moved to SD recently, so with few friends to ask, I relied on reviews like this to pick an auto body shop after my front-end fender-bender. Man, were those reviews right about Deluxe Auto Body!!The owner, Thomas, is the nicest person you could ever meet, and he is incredibly attentive and responsive. Whenever I wondered where things stood, he answered the phone every time, and was glad to tell me. He worked directly with my insurance company, I didnt have to deal with them at all!Like many people, my 2003 GMC Yukon XL had a number of dents and dings that I had been trying to ignore. Thomas was more than happy to fix those too while he had the car in the shop, and he gave me a fantastic price!When I went to pick up my Yukon, I couldnt believe my eyes! The bodywork was flawless, and the color matched so well I cant tell where the repairs were with a magnifying glass! Not only that, they had buffed out the entire car, and even put dressing on the tires to make them shine! It looked better than the day I bought it from the dealer. Incredible for a 9-year old car. This guy Thomas is a miracle-worker!Back when I lived in Virginia, I used to go to a body shop that had a fancy lobby, free coffee, shiny floors, and estimators that wore a shirt and tie. They did a nice job, but it was very expensive. Deluxe Auto Body beat them by a mile - the work is flawless, they made the whole car look good, the service was wonderful, and the price was fantastic! Ill take that over a fancy lobby any day. If you go anywhere else, you are going to pay a lot more for average-quality work. Why would you want to do that?

Im glad that I chose this place! Not only were they empathic about my concerns but showed great enthusiasm on getting the work started. After about 3 weeks later, my car was done & everything that I had asked for was done with precision. I couldnt believe that it was the same car when I got it back! Again, thank you Thomas & your staff for all that you do to please your costumers!A MILLION THANKS!

Very rude! Extremely unprofessional. I took my car back after i showed them how bad the paint job was and he refused to fix it. Do not go here!

They lost a part in there move replaced it and put it on for free when they got moved in their bigger location did what they said they would and sounded like they’d of given me more for the mishap but just wanted the part on my car

Extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to take my car else where to get everything re done. Do your research people! The owners here are a bunch of ex cons
