This is the first and last time I will go to this location to get any service done to my car. Went in for a oil change and when I got my car back it smelled horrible. The BO that was left in my car was so unbearable that I had to stop at a gas station and get air fresheners. They also didnt give me a sticker to let me know when Ill be needing my next oil change

I may be bias, but Im honest. The only reason I came to the Walmart Auto was because our battery was bad and needed to get a new one using the warranty. I had to go back and forth between the one near Murphy Canyon and and La Mesa for nearly two weeks because their inventory was incorrect, so they never could give me a replacement. Finally, I called and they received the battery. It took them over an hour and half to swap a battery when I was the only vehicle when I arrived.I give the gentleman at the register credit, the one who told me they had the battery, because he pulled it and put it in the office to reserve for me. Props!!! But, the office was locked up and a manager couldnt be found to open it until I came in and started having to ask questions. Why does the customer have to do that? A team lead actually came by and unlocked it finally as a manager was no where to be found.Will never come back to this store. So slow and undependable. Find another place for your auto care!

People are telling you not to waste your time in this place! Ive been coming every day since Monday! they can not change two spheres! shame I come here at all times this week not having a competent people to effect the repair! just to make it clear I missed a whole week coming here and being poorly attended and not resolving my problem! My advice to you is not to come in this place, just ask for your time!

The tire and lube staff do good work and are fairly fast and efficient getting tires and other work completed. However, the front desk is desperately understaffed, and cannot keep up with the phone calls and the people waiting to be served. Lots of wasted time waiting for the manager to fix even the smallest problem.

Was greeted promptly, had good communication with staff. Signed up for the most basic oil/filter service. Was told 45 minutes til completion. $20 for the service plus a few extras (see photo). Im sure it helped that I was there at 1pm on a Tuesday. No complaints; dont miss the oil change upsell kabuki that is mandatory at all other oil change stations.

Amazing job. They were pretty thorough. I see that a lot of reviews are very bad, but I had the best service ever. Maybe they recently changed the management team to improve the quality of service.

The lady named Angela needs some serious training in customer service. She told me that it would cost $28 to get two tires replaced (I brought the tires), and it ended up being $43 when I came back. She also blamed me for not telling her the model of my car when she never asked!! Such horrible service. I would have paid $2 more at discount tires for less of the headache. And it literally took her forever to type in and get my info. She also kept getting interrupted by calls. And she left my keys out on the desk where someone could easily take it. I was trying to ask her for the keys because I needed to get something in my car, she didnt even notice me, so I just took it. Someone could have easily stole it. And when my car was finished they didnt even lock my car in the parking lot. Just so much wrong here. I could manage this place better than them and Im young. I dont want to hate on her because they are obviously understaffed, but still, they should raise their standards.

Great service. Never had a problem. I always come in for an oil change. For example one day, the line was long. Probably about 4 cars ahead of me. It only took an hour. Got to shop around Walmart while I waited. They even vacuumed my car for free. That was nice. And the oil prices were low! Can’t complain! Lol

Good shop for a quick oil change.you can shop in the store while they work on your car and by the time your done so are they! Cant get any easier than that. Reasonable prices too.

-5 stars. I called multiple times to check if they had the tire size I needed in stock. No answer. My wife went in this morning and they didnt have them in stock. According to the website they sell the size we needed. So not having them in stock is understandable. But instead of offering to check other stores or even order them, the lady told her she needs to go to Firestone up the street and just walked away. So she goes to Firestone and they are out of stock. However their awesome customer service rep had someone run to their warehouse to pick them up.

Husband took car for oil change. Took over almost 2 hours. Few days later car was showing red light. Took to small mancanic shop in our neighborhood, He was when did u get your last oil change?! everything dirty and low. My husband was last week! Called walmart they said that have to look at the cameras never offered a refund for the oil change that never got done..bad service.

Make sure you know the right size for tires! It seems like cashier and mechanics do not know which tires you need. I got my tires changed with wrong size number because wrong work order was issued. The manager for auto department was nice and helpful; however, you may struggle with general slow process with many clients who wants to get this affordable service. Try to get there early morning for better service experience.If you think you can spend more for your convenience, I recommend some other shops.

Showed up about half an hour before they closed. Walked into the customer entrance and asked the guy at the counter if they had time to do an oil change. I thought that it might have been too late and would have been fine if he told me that. He instead says I dont know. Youll have to go out and ask a technician. This just came off as incredibly lazy. Ive never had to go interrupt someone working on a car anywhere! This same guy was explaining to a customer that he didnt need some bolt that was missing from under his car and that it was just cosmetic! He went on to say If I had a car like that, I would take it off. Steer clear of this place folks. Lazy staff that makes stuff up while acting like they just dont care.

I had 4 tires replaced yesterday (11/28) & the service was great. Got there at 6:45am and was out of there by 7:30 w/no appt. I had to come back the next day to replace the tpms sensor & they reimbursed me the amount I paid at Toyota of ESC (they said they would do this). Helpful staff, great service.

I got an oil change here, they did a great job and reset my computer, so that the “service” light would go off. I got there early, so there was no line. I left happy!

I went there to replace a battery. I thought it is a fast and simple replacement. However, I saw that the center was not good overall. The staff did not seem to know the cars well. Not professional and not willing to look at problems. I would avoid this place. I feel bad to leave a negative feedback, but it is just not of high quality in all the ways I could think of. Not considerate to customers either. I guess it is the job culture there.

Shout out to I think William J, the guy with the gray hair. Thank you so much for being informative and helpful. I recently had bought two tires and the hazard insurance, shortly after one tire got a screw in it and I had to get it repaired. He took care of it for no cost. Thank you, its nice to know that a company upheld there insurance agreement.

Awfully treated. Tried calling 4 times before going there. Arrived before 5:30pm, 1.5 hours before closing, the mechanic said he wouldnt help me anymore. Tried to quote the price for new tires and the vendros simply ignored me. Do not recomend

Lol. My dudes, this place is a mess. Im standing here, waiting for my car and all these customers are complaining... I kinda feel bad for the workers... But, then again this place is slow.... when I asked for an ETA they did say over 2 hours... then again, its probably because everyone is getting ready for new years eve...3 stars cause I feel bad for the guy at the counter... and minus 2 stars for the manager and assistant manager avoiding customers at the counter (manager called for 3 times on the intercom).

They are always so nice an considerate. They are highly competent in oil changes. They have a team on each car so I have never had a misaligned tightening of the bolt that so often haappens to us (our driving school) at small auto shops. They have protocols. they always tell me what they see needs maintenance soon in items they dont do which I like because they have no hidden interest to make things up like most auto shops I have experienced. My only complaint is they take so long or sometimes all day. But thats because they are so busy. I wish my school was so busy. When people get mad, that long really. Well I remember those days at my school. Those are a blessing to be so busy. All the staff are so considerate to me. These negative reviews.... I dont understand it. They like any auto shop have certain rules where they wont work on a car if they feel something is unsafe, They have a very high stand at all Walmarts just like Aero Drive. And we like it that way. Went in for oil change i waited a few minutes for me to leave so time could go by quick. people friendly. Gentlemen told me my car would be ready in 30 mins. Came back 40 mins later car is still not ready. I had to wait another 15 mins .

Auto manager Bill is very unprofessional. I was hung up on and put on hold very frequently. Not only was he unreasonable, he also was dishonest. We purchased tires that less than a year later left my mother on the side of the road on her birthday. Bill couldnt care less. He snobbishly turned my mother away blaming her of being negligent. My mother was at the shop two months prior and was turned away due to her alignment. She fixed the alignment and they still refused her service. A couple days later she was stranded with a blown out tire. She purchased the lifetime warranty and was denied several times. I look over my mother but I work several hours away. Their unprofessionalism cost me numerous hours all for nothing. He agreed to fix one tire but tried to sell more product in return which totaled in an even more strenuous and wasteful trip. Do yourself a favor and work with professionals at discount tire or big o tires. You get the service you deserve.

Left my car for an oil change and new tires when I got it back the back of my car (Golf) was gone through. When I tried to report to Jesus the manager I was encountered all sorts of misinformation and not able to transfer and general bad customer service- never did get my question answered

Customer service is horrible. Just to get an oil change you have to wait in line for them to come to your car after they are done with what they are doing. You can’t simply just drop it off and pay. Worst service ever.

Refused to install tires for me because the vehicle has an airbag suspension. Made my pregnant wife drive off with the tires stuffed in the back seat. The vehicle smelled like toxic fumes for weeks. All because they were too lazy.
