My Audi Q5 SUV engine crashed at 133,000 miles. It happened on a Saturday….and I had to have it towed…somewhere. I Googled shops that worked on Audi’s. Didn’t have good experiences w the dealerships.I saw Dragonfly…got good reviews….and open Sat. So I took a chance and called them. Tom said they had someone who specializes in Audi’s. I had it towed over…which is in a fairly convenient location.I really thought I was going to have to get another car. It took a couple of days to evaluate. The diagnosis was…the engine was gone. Tom said to give him a few days to see what he could do. They called me w a reworked engine…with all new parts…installed at a reasonable price (still Really A lot!!) BUT…..much ..much better than having to invest in another car.And Now…my car purrs …..and runs like a top.I was impressed w the professionalism and organization. They got this done in a very short time as well.All in all….for such a horrible thing happening….Dragonfly made it the best experience and outcome.

Took about an hour because filter was not in stock but they hurried as best they could. I used a Groupon for the oil change so i cant really complain about anything. Seems like a of repeat customers come here. i would use them again.

My experience was phenomenal, to say the least. I had a busted oil pan on my way from Mexico, and had to return quickly so had little time to wait. When I called, they immediately made me a priority and got the service done so that I could leave and head back home to Mexico right away. It was a terrible predicament and they made it so much better. I would recommend them to anyone! Ask for “the silver fox” if you want the best of the best. (They’ll know who you mean! 😉😂)

This business is right next to my gym, and when I got to the gym today I realized I was driving on a pretty flat tire.. I popped into see if they could just take a look and lucky for me they not only did that but were able to replace my tire for me very promptly. Super thankful!

Rarely have I found an auto mechanic shop that I trust. I have been to this shop several times and they have twice talked me through issues and saved me money that I have no doubt other places wouldn’t have. I have even had an employee take time to research if there were any vehicle recalls (he found one and shared that info), as well as look outside of the shop for options that would be more cost efficient. Highly recommended, I will continue to take my vehicles there for any future issues.

I was told it would take 2-4 business days to know what’s wrong and to give me a quote. Instead it took 6 full business days to just tell me what’s wrong and then another 2 to give me a quote. I needed motor mounts and new brake pads for my ‘06 Honda Civic. I was quoted $3,300+. I was also told it would take an extra week to get those basic parts. I took my car elsewhere, got the same work and parts done out the door for $800 and it was done in 2 days. Ultimately I was very disappointed and frustrated that I missed almost two full weeks of work because of the incompetence of dragonfly automotive. I will never go back to it and I would highly recommend “advanced auto tech”.

I rarely give reviews, but it this place definitely deserves the shoutout. I was due for a 60k service (which entails the spark plugs being replaced), and the Subaru dealership quoted me an absurd amount. I called Dragonfly on a Wednesday and spoke to Luis, who was able to give me a quote; he broke down the charges line by line over the phone. The quote he gave me was nearly half of what the dealership was quoting me! He told me to bring in my car Friday morning and that itd be done end of day. I did exactly that paid exactly what he quoted me for over the phone.The thing that drew me into the shop was Luis customer service. Even on the phone for a quote, Luis was friendly and seemed very genuine in making me feel heard. This was not different when I came to meet him in the shop to drop off my car. Ive been in customer service my whole career and you just know when people are faking it. Luis was always 100% genuine and I will be bringing my car back here moving forward. I bought my car through Carmax and received notification that I was due for a 20K service check. One of the preferred/partner locations was Dragonfly which is within 10 minutes of my house so I booked an appointment. Their online booking feature was incredibly easy to use and they responded within an hour to confirm that the day and time I had requested was approved. I ended up having to change the day and time a couple days later and again, immediate approval of the new date and time I had requested. When I arrived today (Sept. 27th) I was greeted by the most friendly, professional staff and the check in process was very easy and efficient. The team - Julio and Luis - took the time to get to know me and their shop was incredibly tidy and well organized. Julio game me a quick tour of the shop and the wall art from local artists was very impressive! The email/texting service is very efficient and when my car was ready, in succession, I received a text and an email, and then a call from Julio in the shop. Their communication and follow through was excellent, the price and service were excellent, and I 100% would recommend Dragonfly Automotive to all my family, friends and others!

Oil Change was fine. However, they did not solve my problem with the dash clock lighting being so dim that I cannot read the clock. They said they turned it up and it is fixed, but I still cannot read it. They should have just admitted that they could not do it and suggested another place to take my Hyundai .

Bad experience all in all. Brought in car for very small oil leak and came home to oil gushing out from bottom of car. Had to immediately return to dragon fly. This seems like the most easiest car issue to vet. That is, making sure the problem is not bigger than the reason one brings their car in to begin with.

I called around to a few different places to find a decent deal and hopefully some prompt and professional service. These guys fully delivered. I had first called VW in Kearny Mesa and they were not only very expensive I was told I would need to leave my car there for 24 hours. So next I called Dragonfly after a quick google search and the guy who answered the phone was extremely nice and gave me a very reasonable price so I decide to set up an appointment. He told me it would only take them an hour to do the oil change. So I got there this morning at 8am for my appointment time and they took my car right in and had it back to me in 45 minutes. Everyone there was extremely nice and professional, I will definitely be returning. Thank you Dragonfly for the awesome and quick service.

Got my windshield replaced and they were closing when I went to pick up my car so it was a rush...I pull over to get gas and I noticed a large scratch on my so called new windshield so I called in about it and was told it will be replaced just to take photos and email them......I do just that and never a response.

I brought my low mileage Ram 2500 6.7 Turbo Diesel quad cab to Dragonfly to have the oil and fuel filter changed, along with a general 20k check per the manufacturer. I am very particular with my truck so I did my due diligence before taking it there.I was impressed when Tom (the front office guy) had a question on my Cummins engine and he asked Jorge (the diesel mech) and Jorge knew the answer immediately.These guys did the work at a good price, checked the entire vehicle out for me and gave a good itemized listing of what they found. They also gave me a 10% labor discount for vets as well.Dont be afraid to take your RAM or other diesel truck here - they know what they are doing and wont charge you the prices the dealers do. Tom will take care of you, and hes pretty easy to deal with (for a Navy guy).This is my new place to take any of my cars.

I bought a Groupon, didn’t realize it was for a synthetic blend. My vehicle only takes full synthetic. The guy helping me was nice and gave me a discount.I noticed three days after my oil change, there was something sticking out from my hood. I popped the hood to find the dip stick completely removed and suck under the hood. I’m so lucky I noticed this, as well as it not falling out while I was driving. Please be careful of this place..

I was on vacay recently down in SD area. Had an unfortunate event when parking my car. The bumper slightly came off and liquid began to run from under the car. Had it towed to DragonFly Automotive on a Saturday. Luis was helpful, supportive with taking in my car last min on a Saturday morning, made me feel reassured and handled the diagnostic. It resulted I had to replace the radiator hose. They fixed it for me at a reasonable price and had it ready for me Tuesday morning for my drive back up north :)The shop was friendly when I went to pick up my car. In the most incredible way, as I was in there for an oil change they discovered a more serious problem with my vehicle... instead of suggesting they fix it on the spot and convincing me this was a problem to be felt with right away, they did the most amazing thing... they recommended I call a Ford dealership to see if my newly purchased 2016 truck was still under warranty so that I could get it fixed for free! When have you ever heard of a mechanic shop give you advice that doesn’t benefit them?! They were professional and truly won me over with how kind they were with my daughter who was along for the oil change. I found my San Diego mechanics. I’m still blown away.

I don’t know much about cars and they took the time to explain to me how much longer I have for my tires and brakes to be changed.
