I bought an adjustable bed 2 years ago.it is memory foam. I have had back problems every since. I am a busy person and am just now getting time to for bed shopping. The woman that helped me in Poway was a salesperson. She could have cared less about me. She just wanted a sale..nope I will not use mattress firm again. At least not if I can help it. Andrew Pendleton from from Carmel Mountain has helped me personally on more than one occasion. He assisted with my first bed purchase ever over a year ago when I bought an Intelibed. I absolutely love that bed and my sleep has greatly improved because my previous mattresses were hand-me-downs compared to this. Recently I needed to get a new mattress for my guest bedroom and he walked me through the different types and what would be a good value for a guest room bed. I didnt need another expensive bed since it wont be used as much but he pointed me to the Ashurst and I know I trust his judgement fully. Very easy no pressure, free delivery and take away old mattress a plus.

Store did not honor their price guaranttee. We bought a split king bed before Thanksgiving. We wanted to wait for further discount on Black Friday, but the salesperson promised that they would match any lower price. The price went down by $60 two weeks later. When we called the store, they said they would refund us the difference. The refund hadnt appeared after a month. When we called again, the store first denied there was a lower price during the Thanksgiving week. When we presented evidence, they agreed to issue a refund within a week. Now three weeks passed, we still have not seen it.

Josh provided great customer service from the start. He listened to our needs, showed us options (having my wife try each - she’s the deciding factor), and was not pushy at all.We decided on the Serta Sandburg Queen mattress at a great price (1/2 of!!!).He even asked what date we’d like it delivered and arranged everything.We look forward to enjoying our new bed.Our experience at Mattress Firm was excellent.

Had a $100 off coupon that Mattress Firm emailed me that works both online and in stores. The store wouldn’t let me use it saying the mattress wasn’t $699 and didn’t qualify. I showed him the terms of the coupon which said the total purchase had to be $699. My purchase would qualify. He still didn’t want to try to use the code. 👎🏻

Joe Boes at Mattress Firm, Carmel Mountain, was terrific. I tried calling the Poway store first but couldnt get through, just as well. I found something on line, but had questions. Joe answered my questions with no up sell at all. I decided to place the order with him. He had an invoice to me in no time at all by email. That was great to see everything in writing, so no mistakes. Joe reurned my email question with a quick phone call. And I placed the order through a web link in the email. Very efficient, great customer service! Note- this is a review of service, not the mattress, I dont have that yet. If the mattress matches the service, will be very happy.

Went into store wanting a new mattress but not in a rush. Shawn Coey was attentive, answered every question we asked, showed us options based on our responses to his questions, and we did not feel like we were pressured or steered towards the more expensive brands and models. We ended up buying a less expensive mattress that looks like will meet our needs, and other than the obligatory asking if we wanted extended warranty (for adjustable bed frame) or sheets we did not feel pressured in any way. Very satisfied with our experience and highly recommend Shawn for his excellent customer-focused attention.

Nothing replaces a showroom with many mattresses to choose from and a knowledgeable representative to share their insights. They have an excellent selection and share their years of experience in many different brands.I tried the web based stores but found myself missing the human touch to personalize the purchase.I visited the Consumer Reports site and was overwhelmed with someone elses suggestions on many levels for something I could not understand because I could not feel the difference.I tried the specialist stores and was turned off by the expensive gadgets and the cult like sales experience which would have cost a fortune.The Mattress firm staff was knowledgeable and got me to the point where I was comfortable making a decision. Bought a mattress from this location yesterday! They had great Labor Day sales and Andy walked us through everything and helped us choose a mattress we wanted. At no point did we feel pressure to buy and he went with the flow and was showing us mattresses based on our feedback! Great experience.
