Great service. The person who helped me gave me a good price for a good product. Only issue I had was the AC was not working. The waiting area was a sauna. Felt that was a bad customer experience people left as they could not handle the heat.

Came in June 2020 for a new set of tires and they gave me what I wanted no hassle. Two days later a metal rod punctured one of the tires and I called to see what they could do to address it. I come in a second time and they plugged it up no other questions asked.June 2021 I come in because the same tire that was plugged up is losing air pressure. I come in, drop the car and they tell me that they wont touch the damaged tire because it has been plugged up. According to individual who helped me today this tire shop doesnt plug tires instead they perform a patch. Honestly I wouldnt know the difference but the fact that he said they dont plug when it was obviously done on my last visit didnt sit well with me. Had to research but for those that dont know a plug is a quick fix whereas a patch is considered better quality. It appears to me that the quality of the patch was sacrificed when I came in for that initial repair.If you claim that this tire shop doesnt perform plug patches then stand by your word. Dont cut corners and hold your employees to a higher standard. I wont be coming back.

I shopped around for two tires for my Silverado and found many places to buy from. Prices were high and most needed to order them. I called American Tire Depot and they sold me all four tires for $150.00 dollars more then just buying two. They told me two to three hour wait and got it done in one hour and a half. Great Service and Amazing prices. I totally recommend them to everyone. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. The tires I wanted werent eligible for a promo and they let me know right away, and helped with choosing a different set that was eligible for the same promo. In the end the tires I got were better than the ones I had come in for and I still got a great deal. They also swapped my two sets of wheels after mounting my new tires at no extra cost. When I asked if they could give me a hand loading my second set of wheels in my truck, they said We already did! Didnt even have to ask.All together good experience, and a good shop to go to for truck tires if you have a lift or dont have stock wheels. Would recommend.

Great experience especially due to Edgar. I had a blowout and looked at three other tire stores in the area, all were going to charge $300+ for a spare and I’d have to wait a couple days before getting it replaced. I talked to Edgar and took my tire in and within 15 minutes was walking out with a new one well below the others prices!

After a couple weeks of researching replacement tires for my car, I found American Tire was offering the lowest pricing and best follow-up service. I purchased a full set of premium tires which came with extra bonuses like free tire rotation. Yay! When my new tires were being put on I found out they do full service car repairs! Since that day several years ago Ive been a loyal customer of this great auto shop. They have an excellent service team, communicate well with customers and keep my car running in great shape. American Tire Depot in Kearny Mesa is a great place to get your tires from. They had a vast selection of tires on their website and the prices were great. Good experience thankful to fit in schedule and out on time to make Dr appointment. However as I drove away 2 things that bothered me. 1. I know difference between air in tires light & maintenance light. I was told it was maintenance. Also I understand I was 40 miles or so away from oil change so thats why I was ok with doing so. Also I would have much rather had the sticker for maintenance put on so I can budget and/or not take a long trip without getting proper maintenance. Without sticker most people with busy lives tend to forget....seems simple but its actually important. Thou the techs and service men were helpful and cordial, just a couple of disappointments. In all honesty. Thank you

These guys are great!I took my car into them today 12/15/20 for tires. Not only was I greeted immediately upon entry to the facility but professionally well. I had called the previous day to make an appointment and they scheduled me next day and also told me I could come in at my own convenience, no exact time necessary (which was great because I’m not exactly a punctual person). I showed up turned my car over to them and was told it would be about an hour. Unfortunately no fault to the employees one of the tires they installed was defective. My service technician (I believe his name was Brandon) wasted no time bringing the situation to my attention and personally apologized for the inconvenience, he also explained that they had to send an employee to another location to retrieve a replacement. They wasted no time in doing so. The delay only took 30 minutes extra to get my car off the lift. Honestly I expected it to take longer, last time I went to Discount Tire, even after making an appointment, my car was there all day and I had a balancing issue immediately upon leaving that kept my car there overnight. If your looking for a place that’s going to do it not only quickly but correctly this is the place to go! I drive a 300+ hp FWD MazdaSpeed3 so I’ve had tire balancing issues in the past due to the power of my car but not this time! No tire chirp slamming 1st gear!Highly recommend going here! I’ve lived in San Diego my entire life and finding places like this in our city are rare so take advantage, they deserve the business.

Got my alignment done. They gave me 20% off without me asking. Then they told me I needed to fix the front part of my axle because transmission fluid was leaking out. The initial charge was $329, but Carlos said he was willing to fix it for $300. Honestly I didnt want to get it done, but considering I havent had an alignment done since I purchased my car in 2012, I figured better not risk it. So they fixed it and I have to say my car runs soooo much more smoothly. I think I waited for an hour and a half. I have nothing to compare them to overall this was pretty great.

Richie and team always exceed my customer service expectations even as they keep raising the bar! They pay attention to detail and always make me feel a part of the family. I’ve been a customer for about 3 years and will be for a long time. Refer friends and colleagues all the time. They are best in class.

I came for four new tires for our Nissan Xterra. They originally got my business when they pulled a nail from my tire years ago although I never worked with them before and did not charge me.I called ahead of time and they said there was little wait. I met with Chris who took care of me and was out in just about an hour with four new tires. To make it better, it was a buy three, get one free. I have used them for years and will continue to do so going forward.

So happy I went to American Tire Depot ! My tire had blown out before on the freeway late night and I had AAA drop it off in the parking lot of the shop. The next morning I spoke to Ritchie on the phone who was super nice - and he was happy to get my car serviced very quickly with a quote over the phone. After dropping off the keys - the shop replaced all 4 of my tires for a really great price - very comparable and beating what other shops had offered and with a warranty. They also did a break inspection and saw my breaks desperately needed to be done as well as the rotors. Thinking they would need the car for another day ... But to my surprise it was done in just a few short hours and I was able to pick it up the same day before work. Now my car runs so smooth and like brand new ! Also didnt break the bank. Makes me question if previous shops had even done decent work on it. I will definitely keep coming back for all my cars maintenance needs !! Thanks u guys ! 5 stars for sure :)

I had a great experience with amazing service. They took the time to give me pointers about sensors and other details which had nothing to do with what I went in for. Ritchie assisted me over the phone and after 12 phone calls to other places, he was able to find my tire size. I stopped by American Tire Depot by mistake as I was referred to Discount tire by AAA when I found that my tire was low and Mike made me aware that they are not actually a part of America Tire Depot. They were getting almost ready to close the shop and Mike asked one of the staff members to quickly inflate the car tire and found out there was a nail in it. Mike asked for it to be fixed and did not charge a cent. I have no idea I got so lucky to find this place but I will definitely come back and refer people their way for their customer service alone.I highly respect a business that places customer service above anything else.

This place is awesome. I went straight from the Honda dealer after paying a whole bunch of money into the lobby and Edgar at the front desk took really good care of me. He got me in right away got the car squared away quickly he worked with me on the price. The manager was super helpful as well. This is a great place to take your car I’m the kind of guy that likes to work on my own cars. However when it comes to tires I don’t have the equipment and alignments. I will always bring my car here these guys are great.

This shop was great. I was in a bind and they were very helpful to rush the delivery and installation of my tires.

I got a flat tire in the middle of the freeway and even though the personnel were about to close the shop they kindly took my car and installed a new tire so I could drive back home to Los Angeles. Had it not been for their professionalism and courtesy I would have had to spend the night in San Diego. I am very grateful to Carlos and his team for helping me.

Brought in my own tires (I have an odd size and its easier to get online) and they had them mounted, balanced and my car aligned in 2 hours. They were really busy and I had figured on at least 3 so I was happy about that. When I came back I noticed they had used clip on weights instead of stick on weights like I had asked and Carlos said hed forgotten to tell his guys and that they would redo them. They rebalanced with stick on weights and had it all done in just a few minutes. I drove home on the highway and the alignment was perfect and the balance felt very smooth. Their price was very reasonable too which is why I went with them in the first place. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be a return customer next time I need tire services.

Update- had car issues and decided to have my vehicle towed to this location and for a second time the team did an amazing job! Carlos was super helpful and informative! The team did a great job of getting my vehicle done In a timely manner! I had hit a pothole with my front right tire and went in to replace it on Saturday since it kept going flat and American Tire Depot had the lowest prices I could find. When I left after getting it fixed my tire went flat again and when I checked they had changed the left tire instead of the right. Brought it back in today and they tried to argue with me that both tires were new but that they only did the right one but you can clearly see from the pictures that the left one is brand new (look it the weights its extremely obvious) . Also Ive had this car for 2 years and never changed the left tire so theres no way it could be new unless they messed up. They took off my right tire to find that the rim was bent and they bent it back for free but that also just adds to the fact that they changed the wrong tire because had they have done the right tire originally, they would have seen the bent rim. So essentially I paid for a new tire on the left side of my car that I did not need :( definitely not coming back here again.*Picture of my left tire (the new one) wont post here but is found if you click on my name.

I was able to get the tire work I needed done at a significant discount when compared to other tire stores. The work was completed on time and satisfactorily. I would use them again next time I need tires or tire related work.

I was very happy with the service at American Tire Depot-Kearney Mesa. I showed up, asked if he could get the tires I wanted and install them right away. He said no problem give him a few hours because there were a few customers ahead of me. I came back at the end of the day and all was done. No hassle and they saved me money off my other price I got from a big store.

Richie was great. Went out of his way to call me back with a lower price. He was patient with me and the day of install went well. I’d recommend these guys and will make future purchases with them.

Outstanding customer service, excellent work. Very busy location I scheduled ahead of time. Gave details of my order in comment box. Tire request after researching online.I found two issues with the process.1. The lack of specs with type cross checking on manufacturer of Pirelli site.(Details or links would be helpful on web page)2. The comment box apparently is only used by corporate. So the request for exact brand and size request imputed in box never seen by location.(Why not include a request /stock order section on site that locations can utilize. This would be more productive and time management for location for in store stock issues.The store with all the obstacles from corporate disconnect manages to get the job well done. Had the pleasure of noticing a flat tire as I was trying to leave for work. After getting my spare on I made it to American Tire Depot and received very prompt service. There was an awful screw in my tire which they were able to fix and were gracious enough to fulfill my request of purchasing a new spare as well. They made recommendations for other issues I needed to be aware of as well. The staff was great, and they promptly got me back on the road!

Mike was very helpful and kind. He helped me at another location. Remembered me and my car and it was ready pretty quick. Before I knew it my car was done with a repair, balance, rotation and alignment.Appointment was scheduled online since the phone line was having issues. When I tried calling all San Diego Locations phone was saying #s were disconnected. Ok online schedule was a loophole to set up the world I needed.Corporate should consider and newer and easy to use website.

I purchased new tires last Saturday. (May 23) The help, service and the attitude of the employees was terrific. I realized afterwards though (next day) that I probably got the wrong tires for what I wanted. Is it possible to exchange at this point? Otherwise everything was terrific.

Probably one of the quickest easiest experiences. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and helpful. I was in a bit of a time crunch and they were conscientious of that and got my truck in and out very quick.

Completed tire replacement even less than original estimated time, nice touch by replacing the stem valves with the chrome type and tire shine.

Went in for oil change and brake check originally. They recommended new tires and a few other things. Tires definitely needed to be replaced. They had great prices so went ahead with that. For the other things they didnt try to push me or anything.Been back a few times since. Free tire rotation and balance for tires you purchase there. Always friendly staff and quick service. Needed new tires in a hurry . They had my tires in stock, were at least 80 dollars cheaper than everyone else I called and got me in and out promptly with safe new tires, even though I was late for my appointment. Very friendly service and even gave me a great deal on an alignment. I highly recommend this location.

This was my 3rd time at American Tire Depot and as always I was beyond satisfied with the service! Everyone I spoke to was so helpful and answered all my questions. I never feel like I’m being pressured to spend money I don’t need to spend. I was even given the option of applying for their credit card which I did (it offered 0% interest for 6 months). The staff always does a good job of informing me of my different options for my car and giving me their advice which I so appreciate! I won’t go anywhere else for tires or service on my vehicles!

I called 2 other stores looking for my particular tire size with no luck. We had an impromptu getaway and didnt want to risk old tires so when I called ATD they said they had 2 styles to choose from both lower priced than Costco or that discount place. I was there in 10 minutes out in about an hour. I am very pleased with the tires performance on our 6 hour drive. Call these guys first.

I was recently at a Jeep dealership getting an oil leak diagnosed and when I found out the prices they were quoiting at the dealership. I said hell no and called American Tire Depot. These guys were cool and went out of their way to quickly get me a quote and put of the dealership. Then they went out of their way when they couldnt source the parts and kept to their quote.
