I have been here 2 times now and I’ve always had a very positive experience both times. They are friendly and knowledgeable and I saved a TON of money by not going to the dealership. In fact, they took approximately $76.00 off the bill because I was a repeat customer. I have 2 Mercedes Benz and I will always bring them both to Minsky. I can’t say enough GOOD about this business..

Leak valve cover, my first time coming to this place. They was friendly courteous and they make sure the work was done right, thanks again good job.

I paid over $2000.00 for them to fix a few electrical problems and they fixed everything perfectly except the 3rd tail light which was on the list to get fixed. They told me on the phone it was fixed. It was the ONE THING I didn’t check before leaving with my car so that’s my fault but now I have to bring it back on Monday and drop it off again and leave it there for probably a few days.. if it wasn’t for that, I’d give them 5 stars. I just don’t understand how they could tell me the third tail light now works on the phone more than once and then when I pick it up it doesn’t work. Aaside from that, they did a great job.

How can an auto repair place possibly have five stars, especially one thats been in business this long? I mean, think of all the moving parts, so to speak. It really has to come down to Roberts leadership and integrity. I have taken two older vehicles to Minsky Mercedes And BMW over the past two or three years and my only question is: Why didnt I find them sooner?

Had a level B service on my Mercedes at Minsky. Work was done on time, which I really appreciate. Location was also very convenient.

I began going to Minsky Mercedes shortly after moving to San Diego. I selected them for a stupid reason - it looked like the place I liked a lot in my former town. So, it wasnt a surprise to find they are very much like my old mechanic. I know practically nothing about cars, but I dont feel Im being taken advantage of since the prices seem like what i was paying before; similar to those of a dealer or maybe just a bit less. Binh is very pleasant, and I feel he keep me safe and my car in good condition. Although I dont think it would ever be possible to say having your car served is pleasant, this is about as close as you can get.

Tried to service my Benz here. They took my info to look up what my car needs and never called back. Terrible.

I am very pleased with the service that I have received for my 1982 Mercedes 240D. There arent too many people left who truly understand the idiosyncrasies of the old Mercedes diesels the way these guys do. Oustanding service, done right. I have had my E350 and 328i serviced and repaired here. I dont want to take my vehicles anywhere else. The work is done quickly, and correctly. I have been through the ringer with other garages on previous vehicles, but these guys get it right.

Ming and his family at Minskys have been servicing our 2000 ML430 for almost 10 years. They are extremely professional and I highly recommend them. Very honest and they stand behind their work.

Minsk’s is always honest about what needs to be done to on my car, and takes the time to explain why. Several times in the past they took the route to truly diagnose and fix a problem, rather than just throw expensive parts at it, as some service centers might. Been going there for about 7 years now and will continue to do so as long as I have a bmw.

They will overcharge for irrelevant problems. They are thieves operating a car repair shop. They should be shut down. I was charged $600 for a valve they never replaced and the problem got worse. Minskys has replaced the dealership as my choice of where to take my car. Ben and team do a great job with customer service, only advise you on what you NEED, not what dont need, and are far more affordable than other alternatives. I wont consider taking my car any place else.

Great service with no hassle price quotes.For those who are complaining about being over charged, how is that possible?!? You are given a price quote ahead of time. You can also call other shops and price them before you proceed with Minskys service.Not only does this shop have competitive pricing but they were very knowledgeable in the vehicles the work on. They also informed me of other issues with my vehicle and gave me no-hassle pricing options. I was already aware of these issues, so its good to know they are honest as well.I only take my mercedes to the dealer but this place does they job better and at a better rate.Thank you.

Got service A done and was done in a timely fashion and a reasonable/cheaper price from dealer. Got brake pads and rotors done as well, was done on a Saturday and no problems either. Will keep coming back here. Binh seems to know everything and is very helpful and explains what is recommended. Btw, I am not a relative and have been here several times and have had no problems.

Best BMW service shop in San Diego. Been going to this shop since 1990 because of the excellent service received from a very honest staff. I will never look for any other shops.

I am a regular customer and I am really disappointed about my recent services from them. They were totally unprofessional and overcharged for the oil changes and filter change which was more than the Mercedes dealer. They have charged over 30% for service A as compared to the same service done just last year from them and charged $80 labor for simple air filter change which is far more than what the dealers charge. Also they charged $120 to do simple trouble shoot on the electrical system which the dealers do not charge at all and was going to charge over $800 to fix something that there was no problem at all. It is disappointing that they will screw their loyal customers like this. It is not about money but the principles. I will not return to them again and will tell all my friends and associates about their fraudulent practice.

I have owned my car for many years (30 yrs) and have had it serviced nationally, rarely have received outstanding service but that was what I experienced today! Trustworthy would be my adjective to describe Minsky Mercedes and BMW.

Minsky has a well deserved reputation just like the vehicles it services. I highly recommend Minsky to service your European vehicle.

Called in the morning for an appointment to replace my battery. Binh told me to come by anytime that morning. Came in at 11AM and they had a brand new, genuine Mini battery changed in an hour. While I was there, I asked Binh to give me an estimate for a 60K service. What he quoted was significantly less than what another Mini shop quoted-Binhs quote was also detailed (the other shop did not provide me details on what we would be included in the service). Super happy with Minskys service!!

I would not recommend taking your car here if you value your money. They have the highest labor rate ($125) of any BMW place Ive seen or called and they over estimate the time it will take to do a job. They also charge an additional $120 for looking at the car and dont credit that towards work they then do (as many places will.) I was charged $1350 for what another BMW specialist said should have cost $800. Then they wanted me to do another $2800 in repairs which I declined. They do seem to know BMWs and I have to trust that I needed fixed what they did fix, but I wish I had gone somewhere else and saved some money.
