I am completely baffled by the poor service offered by ADT. I agreed with the sales rep over the phone the exact service that we needed, but when the installer arrived at our home he told us that the only way to get the security we needed was to sign up for a higher plan and cancel one month later. He was very confusing and inarticulate, and I fully believe the installer was committing fraud of some sort (not to mention he did not wear a mask in our home, and he made my elderly mother feel very uncomfortable). The installer never taught us how to use the system and it has not been used since installation. The alarm started going off for no reason for hours and we had to disable it. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve this matter, but customer service is not only unhelpful but is rude (one man said ‘look lady’ to me). I’m shocked that this company treats their customers this way, especially in a pandemic. I want nothing to do with ADT and am having trouble understanding how this dysfunctional company is still in business. I am now having to get a lawyer involved. STAY AWAY from ADT.

The team installing our home security system were very professional and polite. Their attention to detail is noteworthy and they ensured all of my requests were met or resolved. The tutorial in using the system was thorough and easily understood. All of this made for a wonderful experience and I cannot thank the install crew enough!

The entire experience has been a nightmare. Although I still have the system (wasnt my call to keep it) I would not recommend this company to anyone of my friends. Misleading advertisement.....incorrect and/or vague information....untold deadlines....absolutely ridiculous.

Installers arrived at time I requested and proceeded to discuss the situation with our residence. They (a regular employee and a new employee) looked over the house to determine where there were places a person could gain access. We discussed where & how many units were needed. Once agreement was reached, they went to their vehicle to obtain all the materials they needed. They finished within about one & 1/2 hours (1 1/2). They picked up all trash and disposed of it appropriately. They only had one suggestion to my original Plan, and I accepted their suggestion (installation of a celular line in place of the land line).

I was pleased with the work that was done and the professionalism of the technician and all the information that was given to show me how my system worked ..Great!!

Since my wife of 48 years passed away from chronic lukemia on 12-04-18, my son thought I needed home security. I now feel like some one is looking out for me and I dont feel so alone. Thanks ADT.. Dont feel alone..
