Jennifer does an amazing job! From her key lime tart, to the evil one (cake), to her chocolate strawberries, everything tastes delightful. My husband isnt a big sweets person, but he will eat anything that Jennifer makes. Please order a cake, or a tart from her! I personally love her coconut style cakes, and her key lime pie, and my husband loves her carrot cake!

I visited this place in Feb 2019 - and ever since then if I know anyone who visits San Diego, this is a place which I never fail to recommend. The chocolate cake I have had here is among the best!

I love the owner: friendly and hilarious. She studied chocalate-making in France. As a Belgian, I can say that her treats are The Real Deal.The shop is unique in that you get to see where the magic happens in the kitchen. For my first time, I was given a generous plate of samples. The Brownie was the best Ive ever had. Absolutely decadent and luscious. Several layers of taste and textures. I cant to come back and try the other amazing treats. Support this lovely gem of a shop and get some incredible treats today!

Jennifer/owner is fantastic! She is still using some family recipes from the mid 1800s. Everything here is fantastic and handmade fresh every day. The coconut cake is the best I have ever had. The carrot cake and chocolate cheesecake are ridiculous. This is a locally owned gem that you cannot miss if you are in Point Loma.

Omg. I LOVE this place. The most amazing decadent desserts. The brownie is the best anywhere in SD. Full of yumminess. I dont like carmel and hers is to die for (and in the brownies). And the ganache on top. Omg.I go as often as I can. Worth the drive. And if never been there she will explain all the delights. Her truffles are exquisite. And her OMG cake takes 2-3 days to eat its so rich. A must go - and eat ur treat on the water and have ALL the best in SD!

We stopped in here by chance a few years ago and the service was astonishing! We felt like royalty with the attention and amount of goodies we were able to try. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and I am so pleased to say that those who stop in come back to tell me they received an amazing welcome and had a great visit!I highly recommend this shop and the caramel. A grandmothers recipe made in the original copper pot! Words cant describe it! Thank you the Elegant Truffle staff for going above and beyond treating your visitors with such attention! Even a few years later, Im still craving the caramel!

My wife works across the street and decided to bring home their Coconut Cake (the evil one) and their chocolate cheesecake (OMG) and we were speechless. “This is unreal” is what we basically said in between each bite. So good!!

On a previous review Elegant truffle was said to be TOO Sweet.... I feel that statement is presumptuous; that is, unless you (that person) tried one of everything in the store...??.As a customer, I have always found the Elegant Truffle to have a variety of items to pick from... Some sweeter than others....some with chocolate; some without.You get, what you pay for.... Everything is made fresh on sight!!! The owner and her staff, have always provided suggestions based on the customers needs or taste; I have found the customer service to be above my expectations

The best cakes and caramels I have ever tasted. Got a plate of so many samples that I was full, but bought one of each just to experience it all again the next day. The best experience ever. So good and great customer service!! I will be back for the truffles

I went here to pick up a birthday cake for my mom, and it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! The staff and atmosphere are amazing! I can’t wait to try their other things when I come back!

This place is amazing. We tried a few things there and couldnt believe how good the chocolate tasted. The woman who served us was beyond great. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a chocolate fix. She also has treats for dogs as well as tea and coffee.

Tucked away in a small strip mall. Super friendly sales girl gave us all a sample plate and explained each item. Not cheap but REALLY Good! We especially liked the chocolate dipped caramel.

Delicious truffles sold here! Im usually skeptical of brownies that have frosting, but their brownies are amazing. They are also very generous with free samples if its your first time there.

Way over priced and much much too sweet. High quality ingredients, hand crafted, and great flavor profiles but, she murders it with the sugar. $4 a truffle? Really? If you prefer European style desserts do not step foot in this place.

Not only are the sweets the most decadent I have ever had but the owner and staff is awesome! My personal favorite is The Evil One and my husband is all about the Angel food cake selection and my daughter loves the salted caramel. Bring your sweet tooth, you wont be disappointed.

What an absolute hidden gem!! We found it 5 minutes before closing. Rebecca was gracious and accommodating! She allowed us to sample and answered all of our inquiries with a smile, knowledge and obvious pride. Our purchases were enjoyed greatly!!!

I’ll just start with Lemon Ricotta cookies, Carrot cake and...OMG cake. You must have it and do not stop with these...there is so much more...lol. We were introduced to these delicacies this weekend and will make the return trip from LA in the future for the fantastic treats found in this location. Wonderful staff and very cozy area

Wonderful staff that took their time in helping me pick the perfect dessert option for my wife. Made sure my son who was with me got his sweet fix too. Their carrot cake is possibly my wife and Is new favorite dessert. Highly Recommend.

You must come here if you love pastries. They treat you las if you were royalty and let you sample just about everything. Their omg cake is superbly delicious along with everything else. Im also a huge fan or their caramel and their lemon basil cookies. Everything is fresh and locally sourced. Enough said just come and have a piece of paradise.

I decided to visit this little shop on a complete whim, and I was lucky to find parking right out front in a small parking lot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly welcome and asked if I would like to try some samples. (Yes, please!) The four offerings I tried were the coconut cream cake, the OMG chocolate cake, the carrot cake, and the caramel. All delicious! There were also other sweets available, such as angel food cake, biscotti, brownies (with nuts), and of course truffles. I managed to limit myself to purchasing a chunk of dark chocolate covered caramel, and I will definitely be back in the future.

Excellent cakes, chocolates and service. Highly recommend the Oh My God cake. Jennifer is awesome.

Im not sure why regular coffee costs $3.50. Unless you personally collected coffee beans and grinded coffee beans in front of me Id pay more.

This is the best chocolate ANYTHING in town! She is trained in Europe and it shows; there is no one else doing what Jennifer does in San Diego! From her OMG chocolate cake to her lemon ricotta cookies with lemoncello icing to her salted caramels and everything she does its five stars. It is clear that she earned her Zagat rating! If you have not tasted any of her desserts, stop in as she will let you sample your way through her kitchen! Oh, and do not miss her iced coffee or a shot of espresso! Delicioso!
