The cigar selection was outstanding and Ann behind the bar was a delight. The gentleman working the patio, I apologize but I did not get his name called me by my first name when he asked if Id like another beer. I was very impressed with that.Overall a great experience!!!

Worst over-priced dive cigar bar that I have been to. Who doesnt enjoy a good cigar with a glass of wine after a long week. Unless the cigar is stale! Not sure how this place stays in business? So many other wonderful things to do in San Diego.

Great spot, friendly and social regulars, classy and chill at the same time. They have an enjoyable seating area and a great selection of cigars. You can also get beer or wine with your cigar. Great set up. If you like cigars, this is a great spot to enjoy one. And its right in Old Town, so this makes the perfect way to end a big dinner or lunch after enjoying one of the many restaurants nearby.

Extremely professional, very clean and classy. Very diverse crowd. You buy your cigars, wine/ beer than sit outside. Plenty of seats. The parking can be ruff with it being in old Town but its WORTH IT

I love this place! The cigar selection is superb! They have a huge variety from which to choose. If you are not an aficionado, they can offer suggestions for you to try. They also have beer and wine to enjoy with your smoke. They have a covered patio outside that serves as the lounge. The staff is always super friendly.

Was in old town SD for a night and went for a smoke. I had a great time here. Great selection of Sticks... But the people were the real score. As good as it gets. Staff was like family. I will be back to hang out here when Im in Town. Thank you

Sets the standard for a good cigar lounge. Despite a cozier and smaller venue than others, packs a better punch in quality, service, and class. You cant beat the location. Its very nice to have the scenery of Old Town around you while hanging out on the patio - which is covered and offers a nice breeze alongside two big screen TVs with football on usually. The owner and staff are wonderful. They have an excellent and well-cared for selection of cigars - good prices, too. They have a pretty good selection of beers, wines, and port. Definitely a great way to relax and enjoy the weather. 10/10 would snip a tip here again.

Great selection and beautifully laid out. The outdoor patio has nice tables and ash trays plus big screen TVs. Good to have wine available to complement the taste of the cigars. Restrooms conveniently around the corner.

So Im new to cigars well not really. I would have a cigar from time to time, but gotten back to a reg thing. So I have never been to old Town sd and seen this place walked in greeted good, told him Im somewhat new and wow the selections are awesome. But he walked around and told me about the different type of cigars and I ended u getting two and a drink. Definitely recommend

My wedding week was spent in Old Town, and I made sure that any guys who were interested were going to have cigars the day before the wedding.This spot was up the street from our hotel and a couple blocks from the chapel in Heritage Park. A great location!I cant recall the gentleman I spoke with, but he was very knowledgeable, plus good selection of drinks.The place is not big, but the outdoor seating and cigar cases/humidors are amazing.I will be back any time I am in San Diego.

My boyfriend and I have date nights there and walk to dinner somewhere afterwards.The Cigar choices are great. Definitely love the people that work there and Vibes replaxing on the Patio. Well be there this week!

Absolutely my favorite cigar shop in San Diego! They have a great selection, awesome location, and killer patio to enjoy a smoke and a brew, but what really makes this place stand out is the staff. The second time I walked in they remembered me. When I was deployed, my girlfriend went there to get cigars to send me and they were fantastic at helping her choose something for my style. Cant say enough good things about this place.

A portion of the patio is covered and the rest is not, however the uncovered portion has pretty good shade provided by some trees and is still very nice to sit and enjoy your cigar and beverage. The staff was very attentive with service and was knowledgeable about their cigars.

Best stock and selection of cigars around. The staff is very helpful in helping you expand your horizons or finding similar selections to your favorites. The atmosphere is also nice and relaxing.

I have been to MANY cigar shops across the country and this is by far the best one I have ever been too. I am new to the area and this is a one stop shop. Only cigar shop I will be visiting while I live in the San Diego area.

Visited this place a couple of times now just for the wine. They have some amazing port wines from Portugal. Good wine list and a huge array of assortment of cigars and a nice size smoking patio. If you dont smoke, like me, they have a few tables and chairs on the inside of the establishment. Staff is always nice and helpful.

I have to give a shout out to the good people at Churchill. We wandered in after a late dinner on a Monday night and were greeted warmly. They were helpful in selecting cigars we would like and really knew their stock. They also have a surprisingly large selection of craft beers on tap, or wine if you prefer. A cozy little place to sit and relax. The prices may be a few bucks more (because of the location), but they really make up for it with friendly service.

Perfect setting to sit back, smoke a stogy, have a great recommendation on a drink, and make new friends. Was pleasantly surprised how the atmosphere created such great conversation with complete strangers from all walks if life. A must go to when in San Diego

Churchill Cigar Lounge is a hidden gem in the heart of Old Town San Diego. My girlfriend and I had never smoked a cigar before, but wanted to try it out on a spontaneous whim. Being first-timers we were a little intimidated by the wide selection of cigar options. The gentleman working was quick to offer us a mild suggestion, at an extremely reasonable price. Upon pairing the cigar with an appropriate craft beer, he gave us a quick lesson on how to properly smoke a cigar, answered any questions we had, and left us to it.Being first-time smokers, it was intimidating to ask questions in such an environment, but the staff there was quick to help and share all of their knowledge without any judgment. That is the main reason I gave this establishment five stars, as well as being exceptionally well maintained, and in a fabulous location. If you have ever wanted to enjoy a cigar, no matter your experience level, this is the place to go. A wonderfully relaxing environment, with excellent staff and service.

Great spot to smoke/buy a cigar. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Huge selection of different cigars. Good selection of beer and wine to go with your cigar. Parking is a bit of a pain in old Town so do yourself a favor and pay to park if you dont find a spot in 3-5 mins.

Hands down one of the best places for a great brew and a cigar.Steve greeted with a handshake and Ive never felt more comfortable at any cigar shop.Awesome selection, not cheap. But being treated like a regular made it worth an extra buck a stick. Be back next month!

Went into the place cause of the reviews and right they were! I would highly suggest stopping in for a great cigar and a beverage of your choice. Great selection and very friendly,but then again most cigar folks are. This is a must stop~ planning on a few more times before I leave.

Always enjoy my time at Churchills. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Selection of cigars is vast, and the staff is always quick to make recommendations. Drinks are reasonably priced given that it is in a tourist trap area.

Horrible customer service, this one has been the worst. Been to many cigar shops across the country & they dont even hand roll any cigars on-site. Most cigar shops have at least one person who is happy to help you. Not here. Snooty attitudes.

Visiting in San Diego and needed some pipe tobacco. They dont carry any but what they have is an excellent selection of cigars. There are several brews on tap and they carry an extensive selection of wine/port. The staff are really helpful and engaging. The open air patio is nicely arranged with two televisions for your viewing and the entire shop and its patrons have a very engaging air. I would definitely stop in here again even if it was only for the stout.

I was there the other day. Great customer service. Good quality and good selection. Loved the fact they had my faviourte Java cigar and matched it with a great glass of wine. Defiantly suggest it to everyone else 😊

I visit San Diego 5 or 6 times a year, and Churhills is a necessary stop to replenish my humidor, or just enjoy a cigar and a glass of wine. Expansive humidor, professional and knowledgeable staff, and decent prices make this a must-stop for cigar lovers.

As a new cigar smoker I like this place because the staff is really knowledgable and takes time to really explain different cigars to you. There is a seating area and you can actually smoke there and enjoy some wine as well.
