Their handmade cigars are the best in San Diego. Great coffees and desserts also. This is the perfect spot for in between dinner and nightlife. Ahmed the owner is wonderful and they will walk you through all of their cigars. Such good service!

Love the place, the vibe and the staff, they’re very kind and generous. The seating is comfortable(lots of couches everywhere to sit in and relax for a long time) hookah was good as well with a lot of premium flavors. Have been here almost 10 times, this is my favorite hookah place in San Diego and everything is way better here than Mina Lounge. The desserts are delicious as well. Definitely recommend this place!

I had terrible experience!Hookah was so bad that it tasted nothing like i ordered. The waitress on duty came when i asked for some charcoal, she picked up an old one from another hookah of a person “left” she said and put it on my hookah!!! I asked if it was used she replied and said “yeah but he left” I couldn’t believe she did that and asked her to never do that again!! Her reply was “why not “ I was just shocked and returned my hookah.They should definitely do some tainting for their staff of things that should NEVER BE DONE!!

This was hands down the best experience of the weekend! The owner and the staff were welcoming and friendly. They were down to earth and treated everyone with respect even for those that werent avid smokers. The atmosphere was relaxed yet sophisticated and allowed for pleasant conversations while adding to the nuances of the experience. The cigars and hookah were smooth and had great flavor/body. The food was amazing! I only wish I wasnt as full when I came so I could have tried more than just the honey cake (which was delectable!!). I will be returning here the next time Im in San Diego and also plan on purchasing some more cigars from their online store. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough as the experience is one in a million and I got lucky enough to be part of it when I walked past and ended up turning around to go in.

This is me and my wifes favorite spot. Dont be intimidated by the beautiful decor. They are so warm and friendly here. They made us feel so welcomed. You dont have to be a cigar or hookah aficionado to enjoy this place. In fact, you dont even have to smoke. They have delicious Gelato and great coffee and tea selection. Do yourself a favor and find this hidden gem in downtown SD.

Fantastic lounge with excellent service. The humidor is filled with their own high-end brand of hand-rolled cigars featuring Nicaraguan tobacco. (I found the Maduro to be a well aged medium-bodied smoke instead of the expected full- bodied flavor. Excellent construction without a single flaw.) The lounge also features hookah which seemed to be most popular on the night I stopped in. Gourmet cakes & treats as well as amazing coffee, espresso drinks & teas are featured. I highly recommend the Cuban coffee... it was perfect!

Amazing atmosphere and service. Owner and staff were courteous and welcoming to all. Prices are well below what you would expect for such service and quality. We had cigars, hookah, teas and the honey cake all of which was out of this world. Cigar quality and burn was above expectations, hookah was smooth and tasteful. The Chai tea is hands down best Ive ever had, and the cake was moist and delicious. Favorite spot in San Diego for any of the above, will definitely revisit.

This is our Second time here. We love the fresh hand rolled cigars.I Recommend the medium size, medium strength red label cigar.Very comfortable lounge, clean furniture and bathroom.Duke is my go to guy. He is very knowledgeable.

The Amazing service here really helps set the tone. We first stopped by in the early afternoon to have a Turkish coffee and the gentleman that helped us was so great that we, of course, went back at night for hookah and a cigar after dinner and had great service again! The hookah taste was great and lasted. The in house rolled and aged cigars are top quality. Highly recommend and look forward to going back.

Nice Spot in San Diego Downtown and the staff cares about the customers. Ive been here before opening and theyve allowed my party to pruchase cigars.Theyve pushed through the pandemic to continue servicing locals, and are short staffed so be patient with them, because they are doing their best.Great selection of cigars and they offer gelato and drinks as well. Great mocha coffee in the mornings.

The cigars and coffee are excellent. Im not super into cigars but the friendly staff helped me find something I enjoyed; all their cigars are rolled on site. I went here just before going on ship last year. The calm/relaxed atmosphere just puts you in a chill mode. The music and service compliments it all. Staff were attentive and friendly and the gelato is great. I would definitely recommend going here for a relaxing night.

Incredible service! A greeting and a smile from the moment we stepped foot through the door! We were walked through a couple of recommendations, and easily moved through the process as they even lit our cigar. Our drink was promptly brought to our table, and we were periodically checked upon. The cigar was full of flavor, rolled extremely well, and smoked just as great!

Not only they have a pretty good selection of cigars and hookahs but their vanilla Latte is out of this world.I have had many vanilla lattes in my life but this one made me go back, when I was downtown San Diego. Seriously, I am amazed and I will be a permanent customer just for that.

This place always has a great vibe. Its clean, classy and you have a choice of smoking a cigar or having your favorite flavor of hookah. They also have a variety of coffees and teas, juices and other beverages. Have a Gelato or a slice of gourmet cake or a pastry for that sweet tooth. This place is super cozy and has a living room type of comfort feel to it. I highly recommend it!

Stopped in here of a whim as I explored the Gas Lamp Quarter. It had a very interesting vibe between the cigars, gelato and coffee. The Gelato itself was top notch but better even was the staff. The man serving me was very into it, and provided with excellent detail on the selection. He ultimately helped me pick a flavor I would have otherwise passed on.

A super chill spot in the Gaslamp. Off the main strip so it is not as noisy as the hookah lounges on 5th but still in the party district.

Quick trip to San Diego and walked by the lounge after dinner. Very relaxed atmosphere that lends itself to just sitting and enjoying the person, or people, your with. Service was top notch and the cigar was great. The maduro was a nice medium bodied cigar that had pretty consistent flavor throughout the smoke. Overall, an awesome experience.

From the servers to the owner, all what I can say is they are beyond incredible, amazing, professional, and so on...This was my first time at Gran Havana whole visiting SD and I will always come here whenever Im in SD. The atmosphere is a mixture of fantastic feelings. The setting from lighting couches and decoration, and Hookah designs were all picked very carefully to make the place shine. I wish we have a branch for Gran Havana in LA. The place is classy, casual which is very smart from the owner. The sound system was worked on professionally. A must to visit if you enjoy cigars and coffee. First youre welcomed by Luis, the person hand rolling the cigars. The ambiance is very laid back and comfortable. You have to have a Cuban coffee, their coffee is top notch, you can tell is high quality. We enjoyed sitting by Luis and having cigar conversations. The only downside side is that a place cannot sell alcohol if you have hand rolled cigars in there, you can sell cigars an alcohol at the same time, just not have hand rolled cigars and sell alcohol... bummer! Still I definitely recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place! Me and my friend end up here all the time! Coffee, cigars, hookah, great gelato and such an amazing staff! Its open late, always, and has great music and such a comfortable place to hang out and talk. Highly recommend!

Such a cool store! My partner was able to purchase cigars while I ordered a latte. We enjoyed the temperate San Diego weather and people watching out on the patio. All the cigars were all natural, not dipped in an liquor. My partner prefers them this way, natural, because they burn better. They also had a great selection of gelato and there were quite a few people using the Hookahs. Overall, an excellent stop.

Customer service is always excellent and they have plenty of space and protocol to feel safe during Covid

Gran Havana Cigar & Hookah Lounge was a great experience. We were looking for a late night smoke and place to chill and found this place online. First, the space is clean, big and appointed well. Second, and most importantly, their humidor was awesome. They hand roll all of their cigars and their legit. From the wrapper and bands to the construction of the smoke itself, everything is exacting, including the marketing to guide you to strength and flavor profiles. The staff is top notch. Great place.

Very very shady! $25 for a house cigar is robbery. Had I know it was so expensive I would have got a brand name cigar. The guy couldnt light the cigar fast enough after i said i might try a house cigar. Once he had it lit he immediately handed to me. I felt obligated to pay for it even though I didnt want to spend that much. I was asking him questions about the house cigars, was not sure which one i wanted. He didnt even answer me. Just torched one of them up and told me $25 for the cigar. The cigar was actually good but not $25 good. Im positive this was the place.

Great place sit back and relax and smoke a cigar in the middle of the late downtown city life. All their cigars are hand made and a select few are aged. They also provide hookah in many flavors. Dont forget to order a tea.

A cigar AND hookah lounge which you don’t see very often. My boyfriend loves cigars but I prefer hookah so it was the perfect place for us to go out. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is clean & high class. Everyone was knowledgeable in both the hookah aspect and the cigar aspect of the place.

I bought one of the Gran Toro Naturals from their shop on fourth ave, and really enjoyed it.I tried one again but from their seaport kiosk, and when I lit it up I was met with a bitter and rancid flavor. Talked to them about returning it for something of equal or lesser value, and they refused. It sucks because the man working was very kind, and I understand he couldnt go against his managers policy, but that unwillingness to cooperate is annoying, especially for cigars of such a high price.I was telling all my friends how they had to try their house blends, but after this experience, Im gonna tell them to just stick to the factory rolled.

The best place for have Capuchino coffee and fresh natural fruit cake. Beautiful decorations and Duc always is nice and very helpful. The owner is very nice. This place have something for everyone.

This place is off the hook. I don’t think I have enjoyed a nice cigar with just a Cuban cafe in quite some time. The ambiance and decor was top notch and the crowd was super chill. I really recommend it if your significant other likes a nice smoke in a chill atmosphere. It was kind of pricy but I think it’s worth the buck.

Ask for Duc if your there and he will treat you like a long last friend. This place has become a regular spot for my Thursday afternoons. I have a particular taste when it comes to quality, flavor, and presentation and they hit all marks here. True artisan/craftsman hookahs here. I recommend Double Apple for veteran smokers and Ducs Special for novices. If you dont mind cigar smoke also, its a great chill environment. All their coffees are exquisite and I enjoy the quality of the brew, EVEN ICED!!!

This place is gorgeous gem with an old world charm. We spent an amazing few hours relaxing by the sunny window with their world class coffee, cake and hookah. The service was outstanding and at the same time not pushy or rushed or overwhelming. Everything tasted fantastic. We didnt want to leave.
