Wonderful place! I worked for a decade in a little coffee bar and this place brings back great memories. Small, quaint shop serving high quality drinks made with love and care. Tremendous customer service! Really nice staff. Had a great Mexican spiced mocha. Highly recommended!
Wonderful little place! Delicious coffee...baked goods and the best chicken mole tamales weve ever tasted!
Delicious coffee and a great atmosphere! It was my first time trying and I will be back. I got the miel y canela latte (hot) and its honestly the first latte I have really enjoyed - Im usually a black coffee person. Decor is so fun and the owner is super nice!! Please support small business by going to this place! 🙏
Amazing Mexican coffee shop. Artsy, cozy and community oriented.Local artists have thier work on display, local musicians have played outside, the staff is super friendly, and the coffee is super 👌 😍
Delicious Mexican mocha latte, hot or iced. Amazing, friendly service. Awesome vibes. And the tamales and pan dulce are delicious. Definitely coming back.
OMG i love it. Me encanta.Such good energy, music, tastes, and people. Thank you!!!
I love the coffee here, and the owner is always so nice and friendly!
They got a great vibe here — spooky skeletons and colorful paper everywhere! Mad respect to the interior designer. The drink I got was great as well. It was a matcha horchata latte. It’s a special I believe. I’ve never tasted anything like that before and it was just the right amount of sweetness for me.
If your looking for a great place to study, meet up, some pan dulce, and even say what up to Tony the Barista. Come here. Really great place to do work on the laptop. The neighborhood is nice. The art work inside is beautiful!!! I found my new coffee shop. They also got flan, creative coffee drinks with a twist of Latino flavors, and good music.
Great drinks and my favorite, Mexican sweet bread.
This is the easily the best coffee on Adams and around Normal Heights by far. I wouldn’t waste time anywhere else. The owner is incredibly kind and makes a killer brew.
If you are looking for real Legit coffee and a comfortable relaxing vibe, look no further. The owner is amazing staff is extremely friendly and the coffee is fresh. also if you need a haircut bam they have that covered too. next door is a babrber shop!.
Weve been there before and will be back. Staff is friendly, outdoor seating was a plus, so we could relax and chat. I always buy a box of the Mexican wedding cookies, love them. And was delighted to discover that they have tamales.
Super nice owner and great coffee ☕️ as well as tamales 🫔
Definitely latin in every aspect. The coffee is delicious and flavorful. Great ambiance and pet friendly. The Tamales are the bomb.
I cant remember what its called but it tastes like cinnamon toast crunch, so rad!!!I get it with extra shots to get my blood pumping.
I live a few blocks from dia del cafe, and in terms of coffee quality and taste it far surpasses its neighbors. My favorites are the miel y canela latte and the neblina latte. The service is happy and joyful to boot, so this is definitely my friendly neighborhood coffee shop of choice.
Legit coffee place in San Diego. The Mexican mocha latte is surprisingly good and new to me! Also the owner is very hygienic and cautious with handling the drink preparation and payment process amid the covid 19 pandemic, which is a huge bonus and I am very appreciative of it!!
Absolutely love this place! The art and vibe is amazing and the coffee is just as good! Highly recommend. If Im in the area I always hit this place.
Best coffee around!
This place is amazing. The coffee was great, the pan dulce was great, the owners were great. Awesome place and lucky to have stumbled upon it! Theyre relatively new to Adams Ave and sure to be a favorite of the community! My friend and I posted up here working all morning. They played great oldies on the speaker, had fast wifi, had outlets and extension cords readily available to plug in our computers. The atmosphere is awesome with dia de los muertos inspired pieces and featured art from local artists and customers. Will definitely be coming back regularly.
Such a charming coffee shop. This is the sort of character that makes San Diego such a desirable city in which to live. We highly recommend.
The coffee here is AWESOME! Absolutely without a doubt better than Starbucks and the best I’ve had from all of the smaller mom and pop coffee shops around here. The atmosphere is great, the people are nice. I really enjoyed just sitting back relaxing and chugging my coffee. And there’s an art gallery in the back! My new favorite spot for sure.
They were closing when we got there and the guy was so nice that he took our latte orders!Their mazapán latte it’s so good!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It was a fun little place to visit! The drinks were good
Best Mexican Mocha I’ve had from a coffee shop in San Diego. Try it half sweet with oat milk 🤩If you are in the area, I would highly recommend getting your coffee fix here.
I am Not a fan of coffee but today I stopped By and not only was the man working so joyful and kind he served me the most BEAUTIFUL, delicious, horchata latte in the world at 5pm and at 2am I still Have energy. This place is amazing and I couldnt Recommend highly enough!! Support small businesses :)
I really enjoyed my coffee and pastry from Dia Del Cafe. The people working were kind and helpful with things on the menu. The shop is adorable, bright and lovely. There is even a room dedicated to art which was fun to explore. You should check this place out for good quality coffee and a delight ambiance.
Miel y Canela & Horchata Lattes are amazing. A must every time we’re in the neighborhood
Cute little cafe with great coffee and treats.
Super cool vibe. Nice people. Enjoyed our time. Chill place.
The ONLY organic coffee in the whole area. A must try is the honey cinnamon mocha. Its like velvet. Not bitter. Must try
The cafes atmosphere gives a feeling of a homely surrounding....the people are friendly as well as charming...great lattes 🤗
This is one relaxing coffee shop. Very welcoming and flavors you wont find at other coffee shops. ☕
Great coffee in a unique space. Tony is super friendly and personable.
Great place with beautiful artwork. The specialty coffee here is absolutely delicious and the price is hard to beat. Wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking for a good cup of coffee!
Great little neighborhood cafe that adds some color to the block. Jose, the barista, was super friendly and the coffee was superb. My only recommendation is to sell a couple bags of the locally roasted coffee beans they use.
The owner, Tony, goes way out of his way to be inviting. The coffee, the artwork gallery, the food - its all wonderful.
Awesome service, great place!!
Rad independent coffee spot.
Great cafe but could use a better seating plan. Maybe an ADA issueReally excited about the Latino influence. Not yet cielito lindo but getting there
The tamales here are amazing! They have them every weekend friday through sunday. They are homemade and have two flavors; jalapeno + cheese and chicken mole. Seriously, we plan to buy these regularly. Best tamales ive had in san diego!
Dia Del Cafe has great coffee and pastries. The barista, Tony, was able to serve Cafe De Olla, a spiced coffee drink I could not find elsewhere. Thanks for the great coffee and friendly service

I had a really good concha (if you dont know, its a really delicious Mexican pastry) filled with crème. Not much of a coffee person but my friends said it was really good.
Meil Y Canela aka Honey Cinnamon aka Da Bomb. Sexiest coffee shop in town. Wifi, art and an awesome Barristo named Tony who will shake your hand and say WELCOME
