I was looking for a hot chocolate cafe since it was such a cold day. Definitely a place to go. The amount of cold or hot drinks is amazing. Deserts i would definitely recommend since the price is amazing!

Cute and unique! We had the cotton candy burrito (ice cream wrapped in cotton candy) and it was delicious and something I’ve never seen or heard of before. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their desserts!

Usually I dont like macaroons, but the strawberry macaroon was AMAZING!!! It tasted so good. I went here a few times before and the dessert there were always delicious. If I recommend a dessert there, I would probably say the ice cream burritos are the best. (they taste so good)

Update your hours. I showed up super excited for dessert, and yall were closed. BIG downer, because Im in from LA and may never be able to try you guys.

The macaroons were subpar at best. I dont know if its because we got there right before they closed or what. Several of the macaroons tasted old and nothing about the flavors stood out.

I got the cotton candy ice cream burrito and I was not disappointed! I wish I had more! Ice cream was a perfect consistency to bite into and I loved trust they threw in my toppings inside of the burrito and not just on the top!

We had 4 different sorts of macarons, macaron ice creams, latte and cappuccino. Every macaron had great aftertastes. They was super delicious.Ice cream was creative, getting you hyped up as soon as you take a look.I wasn’t very happy with cappuccino, because its ratio of foam milk and steam milk wasn’t satisfactory.Still, I’ll definitely come back here to get to try some more macarons!

This ice cream doesnt only look amazing but also taste great! I highly recommend their green tea ice cream, it doesnt taste like matcha, which is why I love it. I havent tried their macaroons yet but my friends highly recommend it and said its the best macaroon in sd.

First time here, but very impressed with the quality of dessert served. Seems like all of the contemporary food are out here in the kearny mesa area along convoy.Although a bit on the pricey side, this is our first time having a blush, a fancy and fancier flavored shave ice dessert. We order the cotton candy platter for the kids. It included cotton candy, ice cream, mini macarons, and topped off with some sprinkles.The mango blush was about $9 each, but very delicious. It included sweet and fresh manila mango cubes, with mango sauce, and the blush shaved iced. Very soft and tender. I wouldnt recommend this place for people on a budget, because three desserts for 4 people cost us over $30. However, if you have some change to spare, this place is definitely a must try.

I was so excited to try this place and it ended up being a disaster. I went in at 5pm and didnt leave until 5:40pm, maybe a little later. I ordered the Real Chocolate Latte and Avocado Toast TO GO. I got my coffee within a decent time frame. How come my avocado toast took 25 mins or more to make? If I had known this was the case, I wouldnt have ordered it at all. I can see it taking 10 mins or so, maybe 15. But, at the time I was the only person in there. So then this other lady comes in and the worker comes to help her, that added another 5-7 minutes. Im getting frustrated, so I called to the worker and let her know Ive been waiting for quite some time and wondered if my sandwich is almost ready. She comes out and brings it. Thank goodness I opened it up, because she didnt put the egg in it! Im even more furious at this point. She goes to get the egg. She said are you happy now? I told her no. And I let her know that when she stepped away to help the other lady it wasnt right. And I wouldve never ordered the sandwich knowing Id be waiting 30 mins for it. She just defended herself saying it didnt take long to help her. I repeated she was not right. She continued to argue with me, so I just took my food and walked out. As furious as I was, I didnt yell or raise my voice. She didnt even apologize. Definitely left a horrible taste in my mouth. And just for that I will not go back.

Great place to get work done, read a book, have a great coffee, or stop by with friends after dinner. The owner and workers always take the time to prepare whatever you ordered with care. Whether if its a toast, a macaron, or cup of Joe. They even bring it to your table. Will be here more often!

The cashier/waiter was very nice and, when I was trying to see if we [, the people accomponing me and myself, ] had a reward program account, had been helped through creating one. The sound system wasnt the greatest: a single Bose Bluetooth speaker on a shelf filling the room using the echo of the room and a loud volume. However, there were fun games like Cards Against Humanity and Exploding Kittens available for customer amusement. Overall, a very nice restaurant: just not that easy to be noticed.

Lovely little cafe with very friendly service. They even had some nice jazz playing when I walked in. Relaxing atmosphere and they seem to have a massive variety of macarons as well.

It is newly remodeled and changed owners I guess? The entire menu is printed on an easel by the cash register. Ceilings are quite high and the space feels open. Their mint chocolate ice cream and hazelnut macaron ice cream are very good. However, parking at the shopping plaza is quite tight even after 8pm.

Stopped here after a friend had visited last week. Did not disappoint! Cloud Cheesecake, great! Macaron I’ve Cream Sandwich very tasty and a great idea. Cotton Candy Burrito amazing!!!! They take ice cream and a couple of toppings and wrap it up into and flattened piece of cotton candy that doubles as a tortilla wrap. What a genius idea. Never would have thought if that in a million years. Coffee and other drinks available too. Oh and do t forget a macaron, they are delicious.

Not bad but surrounded by lots of better places. It was good enough my friend had this mango thing, and I had a cappuccino. Over all just a lack luster event.

Found this hidden gem while hunting for some coffee. Lucky for us, LAB introduced us to Snow Ice. We tried the Taro with Vanilla ice cream and its now a family favorite! We will be back!Oh the coffee was good too :)

The macaron ice cream sandwich and cotton candy burritos are pretty impressive; they have a great value too. I usually get a cold latte (best Ive had so far) and a macaron ice cream sandwich.

Small but very cozy. The food took a while and is sort of overpriced, but the pros outweigh the cons. The craftsmanship was outstanding and they put a lot of little details in their food. I highly suggest the avocado toast and the cotton candy burrito. The flavors in the toast tasted excellent together. The cotton candy burrito was the main reason I came, and I’m glad I went. It didn’t melt like I thought it would and held its shape. It wasn’t too overwhelmingly sweet either, it was perfect.

I went to Cake de Partie for dinner/dessert and really enjoyed the food. They have an inventive menu that blends Thai flavors with Italian, French and gastropub fare.A simple, clean, modern decor with plenty of seating for large parties and a lively atmosphere.I had the spaghetti carbonara for dinner, which was rich and flavorful, accented with parmesan, garlic, asparagus, enoki mushrooms, tobiko, and topped with a poached egg and fresh parsley. I love Italian food and dont get it very often here in San Diego (Im originally from Philadelphia, which is bursting with great Italian food). Needless to say, this dish totally satisfied my cravings and made me miss the food back home. While this dish was certainly shaded more towards traditional rather than Thai-fusion, the asparagus, enoki, and tobiko were a welcome addition to this Italian staple. Very well done.For dessert, I had a slice of the green tea crepe cake and it was amazing! After eating a heavy-ish pasta meal for dinner, I thought maybe the crepe cake would be a little too much for one evening. But I was totally caught off guard by how incredibly light and fluffy the cake was. It was refreshing, allowing the earthy tones of the macha green tea flavor to mix in the middle of the palate, rather than be subdued by an overly decadent cream filling. The cake was served with a side of chocolate sauce, which I occasionally dipped pieces of cake into for additional sweetness. The chocolate goes well with the deeper flavors present in the green tea. They took a good idea for a cake and made it into something superb.I will definitely be coming back to Cake de Partie to sample more from their menu, both sweet and savory.

This is our favorite desert shop to stop into. From the ice cream to the snow ice to the coffee drinks, we have not found a single thing we did not enjoy. We have been here many times and not had any issues. The wait can sometimes take a bit especially depending on how many orders have been placed, but they make everything to order down to the cotton candy, so its well worth it. They have a few creations that let you have fun with your desert and really bring out the kid in you. We plan to make a lot more trips here in the coming years. Probably the one complaint we have is that the acoustics are not that great in the room. Even quiet talking sounds really loud because theres nothing to dampen the sound. So dont plan to eat in of you have a bad headache.

My friend was craving for some macaroons. We decided to stop by try it out. It was an excellent place to visit. Great service and atmosphere. Food is really good. It one of the places in the city I recommend to visit and try their food.

I never write reviews, at least hardly ever. But I am so impressed with this place that I had to give them props. The atmosphere is classy and comfortable, the music is tasteful, the desserts are one-of-a-kind-unique, the coffe is quality, the owner is pleasant and friendly, and I most certainly will be coming back here.

Quite expensive, I understand novelty but $2.50 for one tiny macaron is outrageous.

The place is small. They do have some board games though if thats your thing. Theres plenty of light for knitting but if one baby cries it echoes. The affogato was decent but nothing fancy. The menu said they had salted caramel but when I tried to order that I was told theres a different list of flavors. I would come back to try again but its not currently at the top of my list. As with most places on Convoy the parking lot sucks. However, they share the lot with a pool hall, and a bar/restaurant.. if you come youre likely better off finding street parking.

Hands down the best macaron Ive ever tasted. My wife and I tried the chocolate, raspberry, caramel and sea salt, and tiramisu. They were all fantastic, slightly crisp on the outside and the inside was smooth and creamy. They were all very fresh. The owner explained they mix the batter by hand instead of with mixers and they take a while to make. Theres clearly attention to detail and a passion for excellence that goes into the baking here. I dont have much of a sweet tooth, and only occasionally eat dessert, but these macarons are stupid good.

Crazy different desserts. Had the Cloud Cheesecake which is cheesecake topped with strawberry ice cream, drizzled with chocolate and Pocky sticks holding up pink cotton candy! Amazingly delicious!

Blush desserts has delicious cupcakes, macarons, and ice cream. It is pretty inexpensive and has a big variety. The only thing I am not happy with is that they change the menu and if you are looking for something specific you have no way of knowing what they have😢.

This place has really nice decor, but as another reviewer mentioned, the acoustics are not great. There was a crying baby there at the same time and hey, I understand, kids cry a lot. But it echoed so much. I was waiting to get an order to go and was glad I wasnt staying due to the noise. Maybe louder but coffee-shop-esque music would help, and some acoustic panels on the walls?Then there was the food. I went here because I was specifically craving macarons, and it seemed like there was a big variety here. They are $2.50 apiece! Theyre large, though, and I thought, okay, theyre probably really really good, then, for that price. I got a dozen so I could try all but two flavors. My partner got a mocha. He didnt love the coffee; it was fine but not anything special. And when we got home and started sharing the macarons, they too were good, but definitely not spectacular. In the end, I wouldnt return. The product quality just wasnt worth the price to me.

The icecream was good. I had a macaron icecream sandwich and my wife had a cotton candy burrito both were tasty. The place was understaffed and there was only one employee and it took them forever to get all the orders out.

Amazing place. The owners are there serving and baking everyday and make it a point to socialize with their customers. Everything is good, I didnt even know what a Macaron was until I happened to walk in there and gave one a try. I cant get enough now!

I love love love going to this place! You need to try the ice cream macaron sandwiches! Theyre $5 before tax and youre able to choose a macaron shell flavor as well as a flavor of ice cream! The shell flavors vary but the ice cream flavors have a pretty good variety from vanilla and strawberry cheesecake to even green tea!

MARSHALLS THE MAN!My friend and I were on a dinner date and desperately craving dessert! So what do we do? We turn to yelp who suggests this lovely gem!We walk in and it is cute as ever! Tissue paper flowers and pastel colors galore and straight ahead a nice case of yummy desserts including cupcakes, macarons, and ice cream macarons! I didnt even know what to think once I saw the flavors too. Cookie monster (cookie dough filling), hazelnut nutella (mix it with cookie monster! imagine it?! YES), circus animal cookie, and captain crunch! and those were just for the macarons! Then the cupcakes had banana cream, salted caramel, ferrero rocher, and pistachio! MMMM.It was so hard for me to decide but it was great because they had a mix and match 6 for 11 dollars cupcakes and macarons so I made the obvious decision to do so. I got the ferrero rocher cupcake, lemon, and salted caramel. My FAV was the lemon. The frosting was soft and with a ton of zest and the cupcake was moist and DEEELICIOUS. for the macarons we got frutie pebbles, cookie monster, and the hazelnut nutellla. Really you can never go wrong with any thing that has nutella so that was my obvious favorite. the frutie pebbles was a little more mushy than I like but the filling was delicious. almost like shaved snow!Add this all up with the ambiance of a cute little asian bakery and bring some friends to study or play board games and this place is definitely bound to be the next big hit!!
