Sophie is so amazing and always a pleasure when I am in the area and stop by for my drink. I always enjoy the atmosphere as well as all the drinks. This is the cookie and cream blended drink and it was so delicious. Thank you Sophie for recommending this and to the gentleman who made it for me today. I highly recommend this drink and I will be going back ASAP for another. It is definitely a nice flavor and the cookies are an added bonus and has a very authentic old fashioned cookies and cream taste and texture and it is made with coffee but can be made without. I loved it!!!

Im not usually a one-star reviews guy, but Id rather endure the fate of Drew Barrymore/ Casey Becker in Scream than give this store a penny... even if I found the penny on the ground and it did not impact me financially at all.You could offer me a Spend a Dollar Get a Thousand Dollars giveaway, and Id still refrain.Service was ruthlessly bad, iced coffee had grounds in it, and the store was filthy.

Everytime I go in here, they have orders from people and I always have to wait. They dont let you know that but you can see they are doing orders in the back...very frustrated when you have a small break. And even if I order ahead they still take their time...😕

Barista was every friendly, I ordered on the app. She informed me they didnt have my drink because company may discontinued the tea. I was bummed. But I got a Green Tea 🍵 with coconut milk.

The customer service in this unit is far greater than any other business that I have found in this district.These fine people are supporting the first responders. Might I say they are the company Ive ever seen do this. So please I ask you to please come by if for nothing more than to make a dollar donation that will help first responders save a life.

Good selection of coffes,teas and specialty drinks. Staff are friendly and fast with service. Location is central in the downtown area. Absolutely no parking nearby, but it is easily accessible from the street. Indoor and outdoor seating is a bonus, but the place is a bit small. Not good for groups. Will consider returning for a quick coffee drink pick me up.

They don’t have a good selection of regular hot coffee. The coffee was weak also . I suggest maybe try their cold coffee they seem to have a better selection in that area.

I called right after I placed order to cancel,and they didnt pick up the phone the first 2 times. So it was to late to get my money back. Spent $21.30 for nothing!

Their ice-blended mocha sets the standard. Starbucks fails miserably, and Peet’s comes close to achieving it. There is minimal inside seating, and sitting outside gives you a very “urban” experience, but I am used to it and not bothered by the traffic—cars, buses, and humans.

No parking. Only two parking meters. The customer service was ok. Only a few selections of coffee but they do at least taste very good.

Absolutely amazing customer service friendliness and the quality of coffee is like no other would definitely recommend that.

Most definitely better coffee than Starbucks. If you havent had Coffee Bean before, you definitely want to try it. Once you have a taste of what Gourmet Coffee should taste like, youll never go back to Starbucks.

I loved this place! The staff are cheerful and helpful. They are efficient, but still friendly. I drop by the shop as often I can, at least the times a week.

I ordered a caramel coconut blended drink and my husband ordered an iced latte. They were extremely sweet and tasted nothing like coffee, it was more like drinking a cup of sugar. We tried to drink them, but ended up having to thtow them away. I was shocked because last time we visited California, I went to the Coffee bean in Universal studios and it was so good. I would highly recommend visiting Coffee & Art Cafe in downtown San diego if you want high quality coffee.

Absolutely terrible service. I asked if they could please bring my coffee to the outside patio, to which the clerk said that itd be no problem at all. Half an hour later—it wasnt a busy time at all—I went inside to ask if itd be ready soon. The girl replied itd been sitting at the bar. When I told her that her coworker had told me itd be brought to me, she just grinned at me and said she didnt tell me. Dreadful service for a mediocre product.

Coffee bean has some amazing drinks, thats for sure. Ive been a fan since I was a kid. I tried the worlds best coffee cake and it sadly did not live up to the name. Really like that this location had bananas for sale. One negative thing is the inside seating is pretty cramped.

YUM! No matter the location, its perfect everytime!

Sunday morning and we got great service with a happy fathers day. Coffees were fresh ground with great flavour and the blueberry muffins were baked perfectly, probably the best I have had on this vacation.

Fast, friendly, but there is NO parking! It is downtown and the closest paid parking is directly behind it. It is $20 for the first hour. There is one parking spot right in front that is only for pedestrian loading so maybe you can run in and out really fast and not get a citation. I had the matcha latte but was disappointed because they didnt have just straight matcha, you had to get the sugar and cream and junk.

I usually stop in here on my way to work. The coffee is always absolutely delicious. I usually just get a black coffee with cream, and it always hits the spot here.

Its your average Coffee Bean, except that you have to remember that youre in Downtown San Diego. What does this mean? If youre ordering for here, be wary of the occasional transient who might bother you for some spare change and know that the restroom requires a code. Its located near the Hall of Justice and Court House, so dont be alarmed at the amount of Sheriffs you run into.Aside from that its your average Coffee bean: they sell coffee, tea, and have free Wi-Fi. The workers here are pretty amiable.

My husband and I have gone there a few times and the personnel are always pleasant, and the coffee and pastries are great!

Coffee and pastries are excellent, but one day they would honor my Coffee Bean gift card (which scanned and worked perfectly fine) and then the next day they said they dont accept printed gift cards!

Its conveniently located across the street from the courthouse. But it is a little small and awkwardly set up so I always feel like Im standing in peoples personal space.
