Way overpriced goods with plenty of cultural commercializing of many different Mexican cultures. They upsellMexican artistry 400% higher than what it’s sold on the other sideOf the border. Celebrating 50 years ofCultural appropriation here. The owner is not Mexican or Hispanic of any kind and has profited off of stealing culture for half a century

My favorite shop of its kind outside Mexico. In fact, this wonderful store sells housewares, art, books, jewelry and clothing from many countries but everything exudes a Mexican vibe. What makes the place really special is how beautifully all the items are curated. Youll find very high quality things and incredibly beautiful as well. The emphasis is on authenticity and craftsmanship. Nothing is dirt cheap but many things are very affordable. They also have sales, like Christmas ornaments right after the holidays.Ive always found the sales people to be super nice and helpful. The place is laid out like a mini-mall with separate shops specializing in different things. The largest shop is for housewares: linens, bedding, fabrics, ceramics, kitchenwares, etc. Free parking right outside is ample and youre right at Old Town so theres lots of nearby attractions and eateries. Really, Bazaar del Mundo is so lovely and colorful I get a lift just by coming in.

Lovely items well overpriced and the lady behind the counter could not multi-task to save her life. She seemed to have trouble concentrating. The majority of the time I was there, and she spent trying to help a very unhappy shopper.

I am NOT a shopper-type but this is the best place to find cool gifts for anyone. I would not bring any of our granddaughters here because the place would be way too over-stimulating. Other than that, check it out. Also you can get lunch next door at Guadalajara.

Super cute shopping center with lots of little tienditas. The shop that had the pastelitos, also had Mexican hot chocolate, Abuelita brand, mmmm. The churros were fresh, hot and delish!!!😃The place is mostly a tourist trap with super expensive, but gorgeous Mexican made dolls, clothes, blankets etc and lots of food ! Even a restaurant in the center

I spent Friday afternoon at your beautiful restaurant with my Mother. We had just spent a lovely afternoon at the Santa Fe artist show. We walked over to enjoy a drink on the patio. We followed directions and walked to the front door and hostess area. NO one was there. We waited and asked servers where the hostess was. After a five minute wait a young lady rounded the corner. She immediately talked to the people behind us. The couple graciously told her we were first. With a complete chip on her shoulder and no apologies she then led us to the patio no welcome nothing.! She led us to a table dumped the menus and left. We were shocked 😳 We later found out her absence at the front desk was due to a conference call with Diane Powers and staff. Diane we love your restaurants. However questioned why you would leave your welcome first impression completely left unattended and then also with someone so unhappy. Maybe a bad day for your hostess?

Someone suggested that I should walk there from Hilton and check it out. I didnt realize it was a kind of a mall. There are several shops inside that you can walk through without having to come outside. In that sense it is mall but on a much smaller scale. Shops here normally sells arts, clothes, jewelry and books that represent the Latin culture. They are beautiful, colorful and reasonably priced.

What a beautiful little place to shop. If you are in old town, definitely stop by and pick youself antreasure from this area just at the bottom of Juan Street.
