Great little treasure hidden away in Balboa Park near the International Houses that are only open on weekends. Very friendly and helpful stalk and an very nice selection of gift and souvenir items from around the world.

This special museum shop is tucked away in Balboa Park in San Diego, among a plethora of museums catering to every art lover, science liver, nature lover, and music lover! The shop is filled with handcrafts from around the world, representing the arts and cultures of many nations. Typical gift shop with a variety of craft items from different countries. I never found anything from Africa, however. High prices, but thats expected.

Great idea to have small houses represent their countries and share in so passionate way.

Got gift for my wife. Range of products from trinkets to some rather expensive artworks and crafts. Ladies working in shop were very helpful.

I appreciate the concept of the place. But, I think this is one of the places that is more family oriented. Such as trying to educate your kids about other countries and the UN.

Staff is very rude. Strong discrimination against yellow skin customers. When I was visiting balboa park, it was raining so went into this shop and looked around. When I asked details of some small gift, the staff used a very rude attitude towards our family and forced us to buy the thing that my kid touched. Never come back again.

Standard, quaint tourist shop with various souvenirs from around the world. Pricing is competitive. Comprehensive offering of popular bumper stickers. Some clothing goods and books available. Some candy and snacks as well. Great for tourists who visit Balboa Park and want a cute reminder.Not much else to the place as the size is small and purpose is focused.Staff was friendly.
