Good vegan sandwich, $11 BLT, nice variety of vegan snacks and ingredients in one place, surprised to see my hometown vegan butcher products all the way from MN! Very cool

Ive never seen another convenience store that carried only vegan products. The selection here can only be described as mind-blowing. Vegan cheese, snacks, cereal, baking and dry goods, sauces, packaged foods, household supplies, beauty products, you name it. Lots of the products are also gluten free and keto-friendly. This unassuming shop is actually one-stop shopping for your favorite vegan items, plus a bunch youve never heard of but now will want to try. Even better, its in the same center as Purple Mint (vegan Vietnamese food) and a vegan donut shop, so you can eat, drink, and shop, all in one trip.

You do not want to miss out on this amazing deli! Fresh and vegan ingredients, quick service, and great selection. The store has an easy flow, and it makes it super convenient to find what you are looking for. Prices is same or better than Whole Foods, or Trader Joes. If you are vegan or not please go and try one of their signature sandwiches. We had the Reuben and Philly, and cant wait to go back again. Thank you!

Dont know about the deli but the vegan selection is pretty good. They have pepperoni, beyond meat patties, gardein products, marshmallows (yes, they are normally NOT vegan), variety of cheese, and more. Some of these items are hard to find in big chain grocery stores.

Great service! Excellent variety of products. Vegan cheeses, milks, meats, bars, meals, pastries and more! Ice cream is yum also there is a kombucha dispenser.

The best (and I think the only) completely vegan market in San Diego! Along with the classic vegan items you can find at the grocery store, they also have a variety of locally made vegan products - including the most delicious vegan cheese you will ever have! There is a small restaurant inside that has incredible vegan Mexican food. I tried the carne asada TJ style tacos and they were delicious!! The people that work in the store and restaurant are so friendly too. Mission Square Market is a San Diego vegan heaven!!

Amazing gem in San Diego! Ive found products here Ive never seen anywhere else, such as vegan chicken bouillon. Its so nice not having to check the labels to see if its vegan because its all vegan. Just amazing selection of snacks, cheeses, meats, frozen food, all of that jazz! So thankful for Mission Square Market

I love and feel fortunate having a vegan market so close to home. Great selection of vegan meats, cheeses, snacks! Prices are fit for small business, you wont find many of these options offered here around your everyday grocery. Sunny is friendly and takes pride in his business, I will always support this store. Plus theyre open later than most vegan establishments (pre covid) and those premade sandwiches have saved my life.

I recently started shopping here for convenience. This market has a great selection, deli, and yummy desserts! I have been a vegan for almost 2 yrs and I am still finding out what brands I like and dont like. We love making healthyiiiish pizza at home. We pick up the crust at trader joes but dont like their cheese. It tastes a lot like daiyas yuuuuuck. This market carries the best products and I decided to try the brand of cheese they carry. Violife is amazing! Its taste and consistency is the best I have tried so far. It melted really nice on our pizza. A big thank you to the really nice employees running the store! They keep in stock both sliced and blocks of cheese. I am going to try the other other recipes on Violifes website so I will definitely be back really soon!

Went into this store twice! First time I caught the guy who I think is the owner trying to cheat me and I said I wouldnt ever go back!! Went back three months later and the service is still bad!!! Learn how to say thank you to people when purchasing that high price food you have in your store!! You dont have to worry about a third time!! You can believe that!! Not recommended at all!!

This place is a dream. I feel so incredibly lucky to live in the neighborhood. Service from everyone there is always excellent, friendly, and kind. I have a new favorite place to buy groceries: Mission Square Market. I am vegan and I prefer to buy organic products. Mission Square Market has a great selection of both, and the selection continues to grow. From the freezer case, I love the vegan Margherita pizza, which is difficult to find elsewhere. I buy frozen foods, refrigerated items, and pantry items at Mission Square Market, and brands I like such as Amys, and Annies. The market has many of the groceries I need, which makes its small size an advantage to me when compared with needle-in-a-haystack searches at giant supermarkets. Mission Square Market is clean and well-organized and I find it to be faster and easier to get to than other vegan-friendly stores. (It is near the intersection of the 15 freeway and the 8 freeway). I love this place. Its worth checking out for various plant-based and vegetarian items. They have a large variety of vegan cheeses and ready-made foods. Owner is so kind. Love the vegan cookies and hes got coconut-base soft serve ice cream (omg!).

The staff were so nice and helpful, but the deli was out of several items and we had to make quite a few substitutions. It took a long time for just 3 sandwiches and we stopped here specifically because we wanted something quick. The bread was toasted so hard that the first bite cut my gums.

It may be a small neighborhood market but that doesnt hold it back. Inside you will find many vegan products all in one store. The deli also has wonderful selection of all vegan options. The owner is so friendly and helpful. This place has a great selection of vegan cheese.

Can’t believe I put off going here for so long. I loved their sandwich from the deli counter and it’s a great place to find some hard to find Vegan items.

I remember when this store only had a vegan shelf. Now the whole store offers vegan products. I eat meat but I find myself liking the taste of their vegan foods (breakfast sandwiches, pizza).

I came in 5/20/19 about 10:50am there was one girl working the whole shop and deli. I placed my order for a sandwich and two ladies came after me, they got their sandwich before me. They were out the simpliest ingredients, no more white bread, no provolone and no avocado, which I was informed AFTER I was charged extra for the avocado. The lady told me it was going to be a few minutes extra because she was TOASTING my sandwich. The ladies who came AFTER me obviously got their sandwich toasted I can see the browning but my sandwich which came after was fresh and not toasted at all, so she lied to me. I Hate tomatoes, the lady decided to throw tomatoes on my sandwich. Why? You should of checked my order sheet there was no tomatoes ! It gets WORST. I go to the register and the lady double charges me for TWO gaterades when I only had one on the counter and she trys charging me $11 for this $9 sandwich. I pointed out to her it was not a chief speciality sandwich so it’s normal $8+$1 for avocado (which after charging me for it told me there was none) Lady do you not check the customer order sheet ??? So in the end this lady would of charged me $5.50 extra for everything I did NOT get, but I was able to call her out on her mistakes . In the end, it took 20 ENTIRE MINUTES for me to get a sandwich, that came with tomatoes !!! And not toasted ! Would NOT recommend coming here for a deli sandwich unless you like other people to get pushed ahead in line!! Grab a pack of the deli meat in fridge and go get a vegan sandwich at Subway !! I have been here before and had good experiences but this one was just HORRIBLE !

Wonderful little market full of A TON of vegetarian and vegan options! They also have a great vegan deli that I think open around 10am. (Try The Italiano or the Philly).They also have a good selection of beers, wines, teas, and kombuchas.

Really nice guy!We were going to purple mint next door and saw a sign out front that this market had vegan stuff. Being connoisseurs of vegan and gf foods we decided to pop in and check it out. I didnt really expect to find anything unique but we actually found several products weve never seen at whole foods, jimbos, trader joes, sprouts or other big health food stores. Impressive!The oqner told us hes going to have a vegan soft-serve yogurt machine soon, too. (Not here yet, but hes working on it)Inspiring to see someone cross a conventional convenience store with healthy options!
