Outstanding supermarket with lots of Mexican goodies among other common supermarket items, including freshly made tortillas(still warm to the hand), various dishes and snacks, and great selection of fresh produce with good price(red cherry $0.99 a pound, mango two for $1, water Mellon three pounds for $1, etc.).

The salsa and cheese dip was good until a couple of weeks ago. Now they water them down. Nice try but it doesnt take a genius to figure it out. You want to cheat customers, there are other places to shop.

I love this place so much! The salsa selection is incredible and the pastry section is hard to pass up. I go in for one thing and walk out with a basketful but its also good price!

I called the store (Imperial Beach) spoke to a person by the name of Ricardo regarding the flour tortillas I had purchased. Imentioned that the 2 packets i bought, the tortillas were torn, chopped in the middle and extremely covered in flour. his response was, we dont make tortillas for commercial sale, if you want them round and perfect go buy them somewhere else I was surprised at his response,l. He blew me off and pretty much told me to go buy them elsewhere. He wasnt even courteous at saying something positive, he had an arrogant tone of voice.Crazy to hear this incompetent is managing a store and can care less of a customers feedback 🙄I will post pics.

I live Im Tijuana and I found this Mexican market gem by accident and I couldnt be happier. Its the next best thing to being in Tj itself...very authentic with such a wide variety of goods that though its a Mexican market it meets my total grocery shopping needs...who needs Vons? lol

This Grocery outlet in Imperial Beach is Great!! Has so many great choices of items. I have to say it has a better selection than my local store but is also probably twice as big. Definitely gets my 2 thumbs up

Really nice place to get that Hispanic food fix. It has its own bakery, fresh tortillas, fresh salsas and ceviches, and sushi even. Many things I could get here to satisfy various food cravings I have.

Everything is always fresh here. We only get our meat and queso fresco. The aquas frescas are also some of the best Ive ever had. The employees are always super helpful and smiling.

Every time I have gone there since they changed their owners or name, the service has been very inconsistent, but I always gave them another chance until today.I ordered a one pound of carnitas combo and I got half pound of meat and half pound of fat!!!

#1: bad management team (Andrew the manager is beyond unprofessional), #2: nothing special about the food or prices (in most cases overpriced), #3: surprisingly limited variety and availability of food. The only positive thing I can say is that the produce section was well organized...its very unlikely Ill ever shop at this store again, even though its just a few blocks from my house. Extremely disappointing!

Their sushi is very good and fresh made every day. Their fruit is always so fresh with flavor. I only buy my fruit there.

WARNING: Hope you guys can learn from our terrible experience. If I can give it a -5, that’s the rating I would put. My mom went in on Thanksgiving afterwork after working a night shift. She went into the store and saw that they have a promo for a Thanksgiving special, it was great because all you have to do is to come back in 2 hours to pick it up, cooked and ready to go, when we went back to the store she ended up waited for 4 hours. She asked the manager if it was still okay to order the Turkey dinner. She was informed that it was not too late to order and this was around 12:30pm. The manager informed her as well to come back by 2:30pm. Went back at 3:30pm and the food wasn’t even ready. They said that they are running behind and to give them 40-45 min. A lady ask for her receipt and took the receipt and verify the name of the recipients name, so she told them. The food was not ready till 4:30pm, that’s the 4 hour wait. By this time my whole family are hungry. When she got home we started to serve the food. As we were putting the foods in the plates the stuffing was hard and underdone. Mash potatoes was as thin as a gravy. The gravy looked like milk and tasted horrible. The turkey was bland, overcook and dry. Seemed rough cut veggies that was used to be unwashed with the turkey. Everything was so bland as if you are eating a cardboard. Next day, she decided to go back and speak with the manager to inform them of how terrible the food was. They asked for the receipt and she informed them that the lady at the store took it when she waited for 4 hours to pick up the terrible Turkey Dinner that she paid for, for $69.00 + tax. They asked her to bring back the food. So she drove back home to get the terrible Turkey Dinner that we had from Manolo. They started weighing it and said that the food was 12lbs. and now it’s only 8lbs. Seriously Manager, you do know that food is no longer the same weight raw after you cook it, right? So, she asked them what can be done to resolve the 4 hours wait and taking home an overcooked, dried and bland turkey. Sides that are bland, undercook, looked as if watered down. The manager didnt resolve the matter and she ended up spending $69 + tax down the drain. We left the food at the store. It was a horrible food, horrible customer service, horrible customer experience and had a horrible Thanksgiving Dinner with my family because of the Turkey Dinner meal that was purchased here in Manolo Farmers Market. I hope the people that read this can learn from our terrible experience and save your time, your money, and save your family for having this terrible Thanksgiving dinner experience from Monolo Farmers Market.

Only went in for the hot food. Rice, beans, chicken, fish, guac, tortillas and chips were all stellar! Carne was a bit lacking but I can let that one slide. Eat here, you will be happy, plus grab your groceries while you are at it.

Much better than it used to be. Same owner but co partner and the co partner is the guy who remodeled the entire place. In my opinion he did an amazing job lifting this store from the ground. Good service in my opinion. Cash registers everywhere. In my opinion need more selection on just items in general theyre produce expands through a big chunk of the store leaving a small shelf space for items.

I was in deployment and when I came back I saw a totally different store. It looks clean produce is better. I have not tried the food made there, but they make a ton like they sell pretty good. Customer service was amazing and I even saw the owner congratulating a staff for a great job he had done. Definitely recommend this place.

I bought 2 tostilocos at this place $7.99 each and got home one of them the jicama is slimy and smells bad same as the cucumber and i looked at the sell by it was nov 30 2020. Ended up throwing it. Mad but my fault not looking at expiration

This place was a nice little place to visit. There are many little things that I wanted to try but didnt have the time to fully explore as I was heading to the beach on a time crunch. They had a whole lot of varieties of ceviche. The Hawaiian ceviche was really good.

Manolo Market now serving BBQ. Ribs, chicken, pulled pork, mac and cheese, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, homemade chili, cornbread, corn, sausages and hot links. It was delicious!!! And more is soon to come. I seen a coming soon sign for crepes.

Manolo’s store is awesome! He is so generous that he donated a whole case of strawberries and potatoes for a demonstration that we did for Avocado Elementary School for a class of second graders. The smile on those kid’s faces meant so much. As chefs, my girlfriend and I deeply appreciate the passion you and your staff put in—from getting in the freshest produce, great meats and seafood, and quality customer service. Beyond that, THE PRICES ARE CRAZY CHEAP!!! This is our go-to for shopping, and I will rely on Manolo quite heavily for shopping needs for my catering business at the Silver Gate Yacht Club. The store has a wonderful layout, very clean and a very friendly staff. They also have hands down, the best bakery in the area. My family and I come here for every event and each time we are amazed with the detail and taste of the cakes we get. I met Manolo personally while he was walking through the store and he too was very approachable and polite.

The place looks clean. They have good offers. The staff needs major improvements. They have no customer service skills. Everyone is doing their own thing and doesnt really care if you need anything. The cashier acted like if I was asking her for a favor when she was supposed to be helping me, you know, because its her JOB!

The woman cashier was very rude.

Very expensive place flour tortillas went up a lot, every where else they cost 2.50 and also customer service is not the best, especially if you have to deal with some old bitter sarcastic middle east man ! all he does is nag nag ! Happen to me before closing time, regardless of a latin lady telling us he was joking, which was nice of her, but he made us feel very uncomfortable, as I was paying for my friends groceries he kept saying in a sarcastic tone : oh thats a nice friend, look at nice friend, don’t u wish u had a good friend, you better pay your friend back... We don’t know what his f.. point was!? He needs to be more polite and stop his B.S.!!We’re not shopping there again!!

Not a lot of choice in merchandise

Hit or miss with this store, some stuff good some stuff rotten.

I bought a pack of flour tortillas, while i was paying the cashier was placing my merchandise on grocery bags. As i walk towards my car i noticed the casjier didnt place the tortillas on my grocery bag. I walked back to the store to reclaim the tortillas and only to find out the cashier will not give them to me. Not only she insulted me in calling my a liar by telling me you left them in the car, but they refuse to give me a refund or give me the merchandise. I heard and have had other non pleasant encounters at this store. I will not recommend any one to shop at this store due to their expired merchandise and their lack of customer service.

I was pleasantly surprised by this grocery store! I moved here a few months ago and finally stopped in today. I have a feeling Ill be coming here a lot more often! Love that there is a deli, sushi, and bakery with large selections. It was very clean!

Convenient location, but prices are a tad high, and the quality of the product is sometimes questionable.

They always have a great selection of fresh produce anything from dragon fruit,bundles of fresh herbs or Dorian..their market offers amazing infused waters and fresh juices and great Mexican food. Their bakery is well priced also love this place!

The newly remodeled store looks great its clean and the variety of foods is great. The meat counter is clean and well stocked. Wide variety of freshly prepared meals and an awesome tortillaria.

I loved it when it was Su Mercado. Love it even more now. The remodel is great. All the great food they make is amazing. The tires leches and strawberry cheesecake cup are ridiculous. Soooo good. The roasted chicken meal is always good. And produce is cheapest in town!

It was rainy and i had to use the bathroom and they very rudely declined

Since they have all new staff and management, the quality of customer service and of the ready made food has really gone down hill. The cashiers overstuff all the groceries in any which way, soft stuff on the bottom and the heavy stuff on top. Food with cleaning products, its a mess. The meat isnt always fresh. The ready made ceviche is always too salty and theyre not very hygienic at all. One of the servers actually took a piece of the ceviche from the case with her hand, to taste it, then used the scooper to mix it back up. The ready made salsa smells and tastes sour and foul. It looks nicer but thats about it.

I love the cheap produce there. I fried up some zucchini and bought a chicken. Theyve done a great job remodeling the store. There is still a bad meat smell in the corner of the hot station though.

First time here better prices on fruits and veggies. And the customer services was great.

This place has it allllll! One stop shop and omg...their tortillas are THE BEST!
