Great deals. Sunday has a Buy one, get one half off deal for anything in the store of the same value. The best part for me is I can just go directly to the shelf were my product is and pick it myself. Then just bring it to the cashier counter to make my purchase. It saves so much time, and avoids unnecessary interactions. Great store! The selection is quite nice as well.

Great set up! But absolutely horrible customer service! The guy working acted as if we were an inconvenience to him by just being there! Will never shop there again! Plenty of other dispensaries in SD that are well worth going to over this dispensary!

Today was my first time coming to this dispensary, and this will be my last. First, I called to confirm pricing on items I saw on their website. Also, I saw that they offer military discounts online, which was great. When I came in to pick it up, I was told that the discount is only for veterans and active duty, which wasn’t mentioned to me over the phone. Then I was told that I will still get 20% off my purchase since I was new, but that’s it. Honestly, I feel that it would not hurt them to offer dependents something. I will continue to go to my usual dispensary; they offer daily deals and military discounts. The worst part about my experience is when the guy said we use to give it to dependents. I guess the ridiculous tax isn’t good enough; well we will see how long greed will last for this business. Other dispensaries in the area are far busier, and I know why they have deals.

I loved this shop. The staff was friendly and willing to answer questions, but not pushy or in my face. They encourage you to look around and check out all the products. This shop had valet parking (and self parking). It was set up like a boutique. It was a little pricier than SDRC ($7-10 higher on cartridges) but its still probably my favorite of all the shops i visited.

There was a really short latina girl with the most incredible smile who showed us around and really schooled us on the different ways to smoke and tolerance levels. Invited us to 420 party at the location. I missed going but on 420 I smoked one for her and the older security guard out front who had a great conversation with me was cool. I think this is one of the only places with real quality outside downtown.

Very poor shopping experience. I didn’t even buy because of their business model. All the employees were behind the glass as clerks. Zero salesmen. I’d recommend having a least one person on the floor at all times to help people know what the deals are and what to buy. I’ll never return to this dispensary again.

This is a good medical spot but like all medical spots in San Diego if youre going to go to a place like this and you want top quality you will pay for it but I would go with connected brand alien forms always a great go to for exotic flowers and they got a good selection of edibles staff is pretty cool too

Such a variety Apothecare has a clean establishment and is Affordable the location leaves a little bit to be desired( just confusing freeway on ramps and off ramps but if youre good with Google Maps shouldnt be a problem) but I still cant complain. get what I need via great customer service thanks guys

Apothekare has been my go to spot since moving to Mission Valley January of 2020. Ace has been extremely good to me and those I refer to the dispensary. All of the staff are highly professional and very knowledgeable regarding the product they carry and others in the market. Used to be my favorite place. You can freely walk around and inspect products and usually there are people available if you have questions. Parking can be tight but usually it’s fine for me. They’ve fallen off for me in the past 1-2 years due to two main issues. 1. Often(for me) low stock on many items and they stop carrying some top brands. 2. They are not able to accommodate large orders. If you want to buy $500 worth of product but they don’t have it in stock they won’t order it for you or anything(I asked). Only thing you can do is get what’s in stock or get on a call list(still can’t reserve). I get that they don’t need to try that hard to be successful but they are essentially just flipping products. Is it that much effort to order an extra box lol. I’ve found a few other dispensaries who were able to accommodate. It’s still a decent store since it’s one of the few where you can freely look around.

Best place Ive been to so far. Its cleaned and organized. Theres a wide variety of products and regularly have sales and even vendors on site. They give a twenty percent veteran discount and you only have to prove it once and theyll link it to your account. You get reward points every time you spend and you can trade it for merchandise, free products, discounts, credit. Ive gotten so many things with all my points and freebies from various sales and promotions that Im not able to list them all. Parking could be better.

Over the years I have been to many a dispensary. This one I stumbled on by accident looking for another one which is in close proximity. A few things: The valet parking is a bit too much. We are buying weed and most people probably spend $40-80 I assume so this is not really needed. Just let us park and walk in. I felt uncomfortable turning over my car just for a 5 min shopping experience ( I knew what I was coming for).Inside-The hostess/ID checker was super friendly and explained their promos and handed me some Apothekare Cash to use on my next visit. That will get me back. Thank you, and it sure did. Ive been back maybe 5x since then.I ran into one of the Sales Team Members inside and he was amazing. I have a great deal of knowledge on whats out there, what is good and what is to avoid. He was equally knowledgeable and helpful and complimented my experience. I have been to other dispensaries where they try to be COOL and really dont know much about what they are selling and seem a bit arrogant. He was very calm, cool, and pleasant. I wish I remembered his name. He has been there each time I have returned and actually remembered my preferences and was able to make recommendations based on them. (He is tall, long brown hair, light skin white guy, glasses).The quality of their products is spot on and they only carry the better brands. You leave feeling comfortable knowing you bought good flower and you know it is safe and free of random pesticides and metals that other shops can not assure.I will continue to shop here. Just get rid of the silly Valet. Its a bit too much to be honest.

I see more older people in here comfortable shopping for their edibles and oils than I ever have in my life at another dispensary. If you come here, you always feel welcomed and not out of place no matter your age, gender, skin color, etc which is rare for dispensaries.

My 1st visit here. I received 20% off plus 5% more. Every employee seemed bright and knowledgeable about their products. Parking is not the best, yet the free valet will help park or assist with finding you a spot. They have so many tintures, salves and other great pain management products. The best part about this place: you can walk in and touch/smell all of their merchandise before buying it. None of that we keep everything behind the counter and let only 2 people back at a time nonsense. Their rewards/loyalty system is on point. Ive consistently gotten 20% of each purchase by using accumulated points. They offer daily specials such as BOGO 50% off, or 30% off a certain brand/strain. Selection is hit or miss, but Im told thats typical in this industry. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. (They even offered me a job!) Highly recommend this place!

It wasnt my transaction that made me leave a review but overhearing how the manager handled an extremely rude customer. The customer wanted something replaced from an unreasonably long time ago and was being terrible and rude. The manager kept her cool and didnt let the customer get to her. In the end the rude person left and everything was good in the world. Great customer service and Ill continue to shop here as long as its open. Always friendly and helpful.

Their inventory has gone up and down over the past several months, but in general, I really like this location. They have a points system so if you keep going back you can get free coupons or a bonus 20% off after a while. The staff is always super friendly. The parking lot has free valet service, so Im always able to park.

Clean, modern and they make you feel like family!!! I always stop by and get the perfect things I need. They are all also very knowledgeable in their craft.

I love that I was able to browse around with out anyone constantly asking me if I needed help. I was able to read labels in peace and there was an assistant letting people know about the deals...it was a great introverted experience. Prices were also pretty great too.

You will easily miss this place if you are not paying attention. Parking is not the best, but they make up for it with Valet in case their parking upfront gets full. Atmosphere seems calm. Store is always spot clean and their staff (annoying sometimes, in a good way)is knowledgeable and give great recommendations. They have a little bit of everything for you to smoke, vape, eat, rub... whatever it is. They seem to have it.

This is a hard balance between 4 and 5 stars. The only reason for the 4 is pricing, but i would like to point out that if you become a member the prices balance out. besides the previously mentioned pricing issue, this place is great. I pass it everyday transiting for work.The quality and consistency of product is spot on. Staff is very knowledgeable and selection is off the hook.I may change his rating to 5 after i compare to another dispensary.

I have been to a few dispensary’s in San Diego but I have never seen anything for dogs till today, this place had vet CBD, veterinarian formulated with a pan flit that explains what it does and customers that use it!!.I also got flower and a pen top, since I’ve gotten to taste both, I will say these guys know what’s up friendly Environment. Products sold sight unseen and some rude staff members make an otherwise awesome place a little seedy. Most of what you buy here is not only sealed in jars but also put in a box so you cant see what youre buying. I get the whole glass jar thing. Keep the product fresh and in pristine condition. Its the hiding of the product in a cardboard box that can be quite the bait and switch. On several occasions Ive bought product in a box only to find that after opening it that it is not anywhere close to the same quality of what was shown as a sample. Suffice it to say you should be looking at EVERYTHING you pay for before taking it home. Its common sense everywhere but Apothekare. Ive also had some budtenders get very rude and snippy with me for politely asking to see what Im buying.Im sure we may see a reply from the owner touting the freshness of his product and delivery methods. To that we the public say Take it out of the damn box!. If you think light adversely effects it keep it in a drawer or a cabinet. The box thing is silly and only serves to pass off low quality product as if it were of the same grade as the sample.

I came in to visit Apothekare for the first time and was accused of being a thief. The overall vibe here is absolutely upside down; nervous and uptight. If you are looking for a dispensary, I would recommend trying anywhere else first. My experience below:I am someone who is always smiling and in a good mood. I came to this dispensary to see their stock of flower. I usually frequent other dispensaries, but I was feeling adventurous and wanted to check out Apothekare!Unfortunately these guys only had their house flower in stock. No big deal. Its not what Im looking for. I chat with a staff member on the floor about it and decide to leave empty handed.This is when I am stopped by security and pulled aside. I am told that a sales representative saw me fidgeting with my pocket and believes I may have stolen something. I am forced to empty my pockets before I am allowed to leave. This experience is made more frustrating by the fact that, upon entering, I was already forced to empty my pockets to succumb to a metal detector wand.After this experience, I have a nasty flavor in my mouth. I have never been watched with such an intense eye of distrust. It was felt the entire visit and now I can see what it manifested. I left feeling absolutely terrible.Apothekare, if you read this, you guys are not representing Cannabis in a way that makes me proud as a Californian. Simply put, Cannabis is about love and we all know that, and your ethos smells like fear.On a side note, I give a huge shout-out to the security guard wearing the black shirt who talked to me. He was very one-to-one with me and apologized as he did not make the call to check me. I could tell he saw I was clear, but the guy has to do his job. All good man if you read this.

Today was my first visit to any dispensary, and Shay made it super comfortable, answering all my questions and making great helpful suggestions. She was terrific! Great location, and I was worried about parking due to other comments I had read, but I went midday on a Friday, there was plenty of parking and the place was not crowded at all, although there were a lot of customers coming in and leaving more quickly than me. When these guys were on Convoy back a couple of years ago, they were TOP tier, best products, they had so much in stock and yes the owner was making money like as if he was Bill Gates, okay not that much but I know they are way over priced but they had some good quality products. Now you go into the store in the mission valley area and after you go through Fort Knox security they have less products than ever before as if pot was on its way out or the owner was going out of business. They dropped down to MedMen level and charge more and more for weed. I gave them 3 stars because 1 would not be fair due to the kindness of most of their employees.

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and buy from another dispensary!When I first started coming here I loved it! Friendly staff, clean facility, etc. But in reality, they charge WAY TOO MUCH!!! And there have been several occasions where I will wait close to 15 minutes in the checkout line with only two people ahead of me....ridiculous!!!At other dispensaries, I am easily paying $60-$80 for a HALF OUNCE and $110 for a FULL OUNCE! And I assure you it’s great quality and lasts me weeks!DO NOT OVERPAY!East county dispensaries charge wayyyyy less and their customer service/speedy checkouts are consistent.Again, I was getting my weed here for a few months and I like how clean their place is, but they are charging WAY. TOO. MUCH.

I went in search of Lowell Herb Co products, and when I walked in BAM!!...not only is LHC in your face soon as you walk in(which I absolutely loved!) there was a tall very cute and knowledgeable LHC rep! Joel(omg I hope I got his name right) was great at explaining different products, THC levels, and gave wonderful recommendations and skooled me on how to maintain my vape. I definitely will return and recommend Apothekare to my friends who indulge!

This shop is very clean and the staff are pretty friendly. Its really hard to be a regular customer here though. They seem to have constant inventory issues such that every time you get attached to a product, they run out and go weeks before restocking. They also changed their rewards program and have been out of their designated discounted pre-rolls for a few weeks. I asked about when they would get restocked and it took asking 4 different employees to get an answer. They said it would be a month before they get another shipment. Ive been shopping here for more than 6 months and I really want to like this place more but its been a frustrating experience.

Friendly staff (shout out to Armin) that remember you and great, easy to find location with a parking garage. Wide variety of product with a few lower priced options, but could definitely have more. The daily happy hour is cool, and you can call in your order if youre in a rush which is pretty convenient. Havent had a bad experience here yet!

Super clean, and the tenders are usually on point with their knowledge of products. If not ( i had a guy that had just started) they dont try to pretend they know, just to sell stuff. Always friendly, with a great selection of edibles, and flowers, the products are always changing with new things coming out. first time visits get a discount.

I came to this place at about 8:30 in the evening. A very fat security guard, I want to say at least 60 pounds overweight, told me that they close at 9 p.m. I guess closing at 9 p.m. means that you shut the doors and shine everybody on at 8:30. Ive had it with the stoner types that take a laid-back approach to running a business. Either run a business by your posted hours or dont run it at all. Get out of San Diego County. We dont need your type around here.

Ok selection and the staff is helpful but the lines at this place are way too long and move pretty slow so i stopped going by this place. also the google stats on how busy this place is, are fiction.

Plenty of items to choose from, but bring your cash as nothing is cheap or on sale. We selected what we wanted in 15 minutes but the line to pay was crazy long. We had to wait 45 minutes to pay! Only 2 registers open and they are super careful when you check out. Still the quality is worth the wait but give us a quick checkout and youll receive 5 stars.

The store is great! Nice and clean and open with good music. The front desk staff is very nice and quick to get patients into the store.I have had 2 experiences here now and unless theres a huge sale specifically on what I want, I wont be back. Always a great experience! Ive been going here since they were located on Convoy- and never have I ever had a bad experience (and Im a regular). The staff goes above and beyond in customer service and support, and they are extremely knowledgeable (especially Zac).The store, even when crowded, has a very laid back atmosphere (perfect for peeps with social anxiety). Never once have I left dissapoineted or without learning something new, and I usually leave with a very big smile on my face.Best. Place. Ever.

All they kept mentioning was my first time customer discount that was never applied. I bought things because of the discount I never got. Way overpriced. Valet parking?! $45 for an 1/8th of outdoor! How about you lower the price so less goes to the black market. Ive heard of Cali outdoor all the way in New York state for less. Also the security guard took my pocket knife and let my leave without returning it. I wasted over an hour driving back to retrieve it. I wish i would have notice the lack of discount before i returned for my last time ever.

Welcome! Very chill vibe compared to other shops. Service is excellent here. The budtenders at ApotheKare are not only very friendly and upbeat but they are super knowledgeable about all things cannabis. They welcome any questions you may have, without the condescending arrogance you get at some of the other shops. They arent pushy or agreesive about sales and they dont just recommend whatever has the highest price. They ask YOU questions, so they can help you make an informed decision and suggest based on your need, fun, sleep or pain. They can take a hint too..... so if you prefer to shop solo they give you space. The shop has a boutique feel to it, light and bright with everything out on the sales floor.....instead of a big, bulky glass display case. I definitely recommend this shop for the local 420 experts and the vacationing tourists. I always find what I am looking for and then some at a reasonable price. They always have new deals and promos going on. Plus, you earn points with every dollar you spend that can be used for a variety of different things-like 20% a future purchase etc. Last but not least, they have a really sweet incentive program that rewards you for referring your friends to check out the shop...even if they dont buy anything, you get a discount to use that day and an additional one to use in the future. I always enjoy coming to this dispensary. It’s so clean and has a relaxed urban atmosphere; as well as the knowledgeable bud tenders. They always know what to get and I fully trust their opinion when I ask “what should I get” questions. Especially Nicole she knew exactly what strain was the best and the cashiers are so cool, I always go to Lex to ring my items she’s so sweet and always puts me in a good mood! Definitely recommend this place to all my friends!
