I can say that I had my doubts about acupuncture but as I walked into the office it felt warm and welcoming, then I met Emma ... what an Angel. I went back into the consultation room where I met Dr. Kuo, he listened to my problem and then he taught me about acupuncture and what he would be doing. He is the best Doctor I have seen in a very long time, soft spoken and super gentle, telling you what he will do and then makes sure that you’re doing okay. He does this every time and that showed me that he cares about each patient 100 %, I would recommend everyone to come and experience the wonders of Living Stream Wellness, you will not be sorry.

Its a lovely place. Brian is so knowledgeable and knows what exactly needs to be done to treat my symptoms. I like the way he explains the process and his treatment plan to me. Would definitely recommend to anyone needs to see oriental practice!

Dr. Kuo is amazing. Great for pain management or any other medical condition . He also makes herbal formulas for your body composition.

They deserve all the stars. Highly recommend this place if youre having fertility issues. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant for six months using ovulation sticks and tracking everything. My friend who is a Doula recommended I try acupuncture. I came to see Dr. Kuo Once or twice weekly for one month I also took Primrose and a couple other supplements and stared at the full moon (recommendation from a hippy friend). Dr Kuo said my energy was blocked up. I got headaches the first three times I went. I think I was getting everything moving again after that I felt like it was very relaxing. The next month my pregnancy test was POSITIVE.Fast forward nine months later and Im SO done being pregnant in Poway in September when its 100 degrees. I was 39+5 days. My Obgyn did a membrane sweep and told me it was unlikely my baby will come in the next week because I was only 1 cm dilated. I immediately called Dr. Kuo and he got me that in that day to help induce labor. The next morning I started having contractions about four hours apart. Dr. Kuo said I should come in daily until labor started. So I came in that day again for the second time for acupuncture. My labor started that night at 10 PM my baby was born The next day on the HARVEST MOON. I used to think acupuncture was voodoo. Now I think it is the best way to help with fertility and recommend it to all my friends. Also Emma Dr. Kuo’s wife at the front desk is the sweetest. And their prices for community acupuncture are very reasonable. Invest in that HSA and See Dr. Kuo.

I appreciate the dedicated and thorough attention to my health and wellbeing that Dr. Catherine Austin provides. It has changed my life! My son has greatly benefited from her astute application of a vast body of knowledge. We both enjoy the professional and comfortable atmosphere and friendly service! The on-site pharmacy is not only handy, its also top quality. And lets not forget how amazing the medical massage is, especially from Matthew! Overall an all time favorite clinic, a one-stop-shop for Asian medicine and holistic care.

Emma (receptionist and Dr. Kuos wife) and Dr. Kuo are amazingly kind and super talented. Ill start with Emma- I called Living Stream on Thursday, looking for immediate acupuncture/cupping for back pain and muscle spasms. However, the office was closed that day and I was in such agony, I went to a nearby acupuncture place who could see me that day. Emma called me back, out of the goodness of her heart, to apologize that I couldnt be seen and to make sure that I was feeling better. Her voice was so genuinely concerned, it almost made me cry. Although I was feeling better, I didnt receive cupping from my Thursday appointment and I said I must check out Living Stream solely based on Emmas kindness. They went above and beyond, staying late into the evening, to ensure that I would be treated.I was/am SO glad that I went to see Dr. Kuo because he is amazing. His bedside manner and professionalism are unparalled. Im a physician and have been to many acupuncturists and he is undoubtedly an expert in his field. He was kind, yet confident, and explained everything as if this was my first time. My pain and spasms were improved after the first session. They truly prioritize my healing.Living Stream corresponds via text and email as well - her kindness shows through the texts. She remembers my name and makes me feel welcomed and part of the Living Stream Wellness family. Emma is truly an asset to Dr. Kuos team- they are the dynamic duo. I will continue treatment with Dr. Kuo even though my symptoms are better. My lower back was the main problem but my neck/upper back also need help. Thank you, Emma and Dr. Kuo!!

Everyone is amazing in this office. Dr. Kuos acupuncture seasons started helping me from my first visit. He is very knowledgeable, proffesional and just a super nice person. Tom is an amazing massage therapist - again, immediate result. Emma, at front desk is super helpful and welcoming. Everyone goes above and beyond to help you...I am very happy I found this place.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Front desk staff is helpful and always greets you, making you feel welcome. Dr. Kuo is great at making you feel comfortable and it is obvious he knows what he is doing. He walks you through everything and makes you feel at ease. Since going here I have felt overall better mind, body and soul.

Dr. Brian Kuo is an excellent acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. He really helps our son fell better! I highly recommend him.
