I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis about 3 years ago and about 2 years ago it got to an unbearable point so I started doing everything and anything I could to help.I started by making sure I was exercising or being active for at least 30 minutes a day, eating all the recommended foods and worked on my sleep patternsA majority of that 2 years went by. I had lost 20lbs, my skin looked much better and the pain was much easier to handle than before but still wasnt good.I had done EVERYTHING my doctors recommended and was in the best shape/health I had been in over the past three years but it wasnt enough where I could go about my day without having to manage pain or decide if I could do an activity that day.Which bring me to Dr. Vong. I started with her about 4 months ago. On day one she assessed extremely in depth and asked a lot of important questions at least I thought they were in order to get my prescription dialed in.She explained to me what we will be starting off on and why in a way anybody could understand, and then also shared with me what we will be doing next and next after that. I LOVED it, felt very good about things and understood the processes. WHICH YOU NEVER GET FROM ANY DOCTORS.But the real magic started a few weeks after starting the medication. My skin cleared up to a point where you could barely see my marks and my pain has all but been eliminated.I WOULD RECOMMEND Dr. Vong to ANYBODY in a similar position to mine!

Marlene really took the time to listen to what is happening in my body and asked very intelligent and thoughtful questions and saw my body as a whole. When explaining these same things to western doctors for YEARS they would hyperfocus on one diagnosis and try to treat that, ignoring all else. Marlene made me feel really listened to and started me on a course of treatment that I am confident in. She fully explained my condition and her course of treatment. She knows her stuff! Try to make an appointment though, she is quite busy and I am lucky she could she me on a drop in basis.
