Im a home hobbyist, but I like really nice and industrial stuff. When looking around to purchase the JBC CD-1BE, I landed on flexible assembly systems. I like the page design and upfront-ness of costs. Tyler Brewer on their team was extremely helpful every step of the way. Dont go here. I had two torque wrenches calibrated. The technician who performed the calibration said he couldnt calibrate the small torque wrench (in. lbs ) because the adjuster handle was messed up. I was surprised because I used it earlier and it was fine. I picked it up and twisted the adjuster back and forth and it seemed fine, but I took his word for it. I then asked him how about the larger torque wrench (ft. lbs) he said it calibrated fine. I then asked him if they wrote down the before and after readings on the calibration sheet. He said they dont do that. I asked him if he remembered what the before readings were; he said it wasnt that far off from being calibration. The following week it was time to use the (ft. lbs) torque wrench and I was surprise the calibration handle adjuster was very loose. It wouldnt adjust into the upper ft lbs ranges. This made me furious because its now going to put me behind another week before I finish my project. I realized the tech switched his story around so I wouldnt check the (ft. lbs) wrench while I was there. Avoid this place at all cost. Youll never know if they really calibrated your tools. Youll have to take the technicians word that the calibration was performed. In my case Ill never know and I wouldnt trust it even if they did. I just spent $60 for calibration plus another $20 for gas and it was not even performed. I then discovered the lock nut on the bottom of the handle was simply loose which is why the adjuster handle would adjust properly. The tech must have not known how to access the lock nut since it was not visible or he didnt have the proper tool to lock the nut because it required a special tool. If he wouldve just been honest it wouldve made things easier for me and I would not be writing this review.
