This location is amazing. They are quick, efficient, and friendly. I’ve had a great experience with all the staff every time I rent a vehicle. The manager, Robin Garcia, had to help on a situation and was very friendly and understanding and I noticed him helping another customer, going out of his to make sure he gave accurate information to help the customer.

Dont be late picking it up or theyll sell it.Should be more specific about that when your making the reservation.

I ordered a hitch and got it installed through U-Haul at this location. I ordered an inch and a quarter hitch to accommodate my bike rack but after driving home Ive noticed they had installed a 2 inch hitch on my car. I called the phone number for uhaul and was put with a service representative who said a manager at U-Haul would be reaching out shortly about the mistake and coordinate installing the proper hitch.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the guys with Vet Movers Company who helped me saturday. I believe one of their names was George . They were were super flexible and understanding with the delivery time.

My moving experience with the U-Haul of City Heights staff was awesome despite going through a terrible ordeal I had with their moving van that was not their fault (engine blew out - see pic).The General Manager, Irene and staff were all friendly, helpful and professional from the start through the end. While waiting for my turn (I needed to rent moving van two days in a row), I observed that each customer was handled courteously and staff worked to keep the line moving.I have rented moving vans from this location before and will continue to come here.

Honestly, this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The staff at this location are lazy and rude . The whole facility is unorganized. Be prepared to wait in line for a long period of time.

The girl in the front needs to work on her customer service skills. Was here on 3/18 around 2 PM. Went in and asked a quick question and some clarification. The girl had a petty attitude and made me feel unwelcome. I’ll go to another uhaul location. But this one earns two stars because of its convienent location.

3/26/21 The guys in the garage are on their game. Parts and labor was less than half of what my dealer wanted just in parts. Timely, superior service. Respect

Yes moving is stressful but these two individuals are total standouts that define good communication and friendly prompt service with a mask covered smile. Uhaul. Here are some words that come to mind. Careless. Unprofessional. Clueless. Overwhelmed. Do not come here for a hitch install. They need new managers or training on how to manage a store. We showed up three separate times, and each time they did not have the hitch nor bothered to call us to reschedule. The final time we got into an argument with the hitch install manager because he tried to say he has too many customers to call to let us know. Imagine our faces being there for the third time. Mind you, he scheduled the appointments. Anyway, 2.5 months of waiting to find out their distributer doesnt even carry out hitch. Straight nonsense. Store needs new management.

I was able to rent the truck without a problem. The manager was friendly and overall customer service was good enough. Ill rent again!

In all honesty, that place was hectic when I walked in on a Saturday morning. I was screwed out of a truck from another location and sent to this one. The line was out the door BUT they managed to get me taken care of. Moving is stressful enough as it is. I stayed calm, which enabled them to help me out the best they could. Always remember to stay courteous and others will go out of their way to assist you.

We just picked up our trailer for our move and we were so impressed with the customer service we received. Gilberto was so professional and kind!

Poor customer service tried to force me to buy a Uhaul adapter for my truck. Stay away from Uhaul in city heights

Unprofessional and very lazy. Left some wireless earphones in one of the trucks and finally was able to callget ahold of them a few days later since they had been “too busy” and unable to connect me directly to the store. Guy sounded very uninterested, told me that him and his co-workers saw them a couple days ago but didn’t know where they went, said he didn’t think about inquiring about them as well...either stole them or tossed them in the trash. Expensive Bose wireless earphones. Will definitely be making an appearance in person and be more thorough with my complaint. Ridiculous

According to the receipt the staff name is Gilberto F.- Big kuddos to him and anyone else who helped w the process. He and the team made it easy process to get in, get our truck and go, also the returning process was easy. Also Gilberto had alot of patience w me, after not understanding the total amount, i kept insisting w why total price was to high, but at end it wasnt high price.

I can’t recommend this service. I rented via the 24/7 truck share. I arrived and the u haul was here but the combo given for the lock was incorrect. I called customer service and they tried calling the GM who didn’t help or want even wanted to help. We were stuck without a rental and U-Haul did not even apologize for the mishap. Really disappointed and will have trouble using services like this again.

Saturday morning we received the worst customer service EVER the worker who seemed to be in charge of that local was beyond rude not just to us but to anyone who ask het anything.her daughter was running around the store wich I dont have a problem with that but she was just yelling at the little girl too. It was very busy and i guess she cant handle that kind of stress or something. Please ask her to be at least a little nicer. She has no customer service skills at all!!!

Manager on duty during the day is in need of more training in customer service. She is to quick to immediately blame customer for a time that was input wrong by the morning cashier. No reservation was made, we were a walk in and specifically told the guy its rental before closing. Yet, time was input wrong and this rude manager without notice to customer that she charge extra on card. Regardless being told we never reserved, we walked in that morning. We want to pay cash dont charge card. We never said return time is 2 30. Without my permission she charge the card on file. Not a good place to rent. Take your business to elsewhere. This place will cheat you and dont care if they did wrong.

Chaotic and slow. Huge wait even if only 3 people in line. Would not recommend going unless there are no other customers.

Customer representative was not wearing a mask, and came up to me to look at my phone without asking.They pulled out the wrong truck for me. Took over 45 minutes even though I did online check-in. They couldnt fulfill the promise that a phone rep made re: return timing and pricing. Confusing parking lot.

Anabel gave me the best customer service I have ever seen at a U-haul location. I told him I had to take the 5 boxes I purchased via bus, and he immediately after purchase got a lot of twine and tied my boxes together for 5 minutes straight, making sure it was secure. Just wanted to write this review for him, as he made my long public transportation journey with the boxes so much easier!

The chubby girl, Irene Chiaramonte that works there is just sour and thinks you should have UHAUL knowledge like her as a trained employee . Don’t do it. Just save your brain power and figure out a different moving solution. U-haul, specifically this one, is increasingly one of the worst companies I’ve ever experienced. Already been here an hour after making reservation for picking up a trailer.

Wasted of time ! Our appointment supposed to be by 8:30am to 10am, unfortunately their materials are not available! How come ? We called last Friday for reservation, and today is Monday? They’re not yet ready???

Found packing peanuts that were hard to find anywhere else. Fair prices and good service. Peanuts were environmentally friendly. They would pretty much disappear when immersed in water.

Honestly had a hell of a time with Ubox (in a bad way) but thankfully Irene at this location was extremely helpful and professional. Thank you for your 5 star customer service, even if some other people in the company dropped the ball.

First I had to wait for parts to come in then I dropped my car off 15 minutes before my appointment today. When I went back two and a half hours later they hadnt even started on it.. so I took my keys and left.. Not a happy customer.

The General Manager was really helpful and got us up and running pretty fast. I see quite a lot of bad reviews for this place, but they were fast and courteous with us. We rented a 15 truck for almost the whole day and it came out to be a little over $100, which was a pretty nice deal.

There were a few things which were visible lacking in the customer service department especially with one particular employee. This girl who works the front counter had one of the most displeasing attitudes towards her work and the customers. I am from out of state so this was the first time I had ever rented a U-Haul from this location let alone CA and let me tell you one of the worst experiences I had ever had. During the whole process she had a nasty attitude towards me and when I asked follow up questions on whether a dolly or a furniture cart would be best she pretty much ignored my question and just continued to type on her phone. Once I made a decision she asked during the process a secondary contact which was unique to me because I have rented U-Hauls in other states and never had I ever been asked this so I just asked for a reason why and she refused to tell me. I refused to give it to her until one of her peers came by overheard the discussion and took the time to explain why. Because of this girl and her difficulty in understanding the concept of customer service, I would never use this location ever again and will never recommend it to anyone. If you use this U-Haul and encounter a small petite girl with finger tattoos and a poor attitude towards customers, do yourself a favor and walk out the door.

Front desk people are just rude. They treated me like I’m just about to steal their trailer. Had to raise my voice and almost walked away from that place.It’s been 2 days since I returned the trailer and manager just called me asking when I’ll return the trailer! Come on you guys. Can’t count your own trailers.Guys who work with an actual equipment are very pleasant and professional. But the whole experience is ruined already. Never coming back.

I walked into this particular u-haul on June 19 at about 7pm. I held a conversation with a young man while the Hispanic worker helped a customer. Once he finished with them he took his next customer. I was too be next. He looked up from his work and proceeded to speak to the young man that i was speaking to. He told him that he was not renting him a truck. He then proceeded to say that i couldnt rent one either! He assumed that we were together! We were not. He never spoke to me directly. He never gave me a chance to be the individual customer that i was. This little fella was out of line and wildly mistaken. I recommend that this particular location recieve better customer service training. At any rate the lil guy sucks! He was about 411 with a sad pisa face. I was a gentleman and took my dose of discrimination on the chin... that lil cat is buns!

EVERY time I have used this place they are woefully understaffed and on top of that the rental process is long and arduous. Be prepared to spend a half hour per customer.

Alex was nothing more than fantastic and helped make everything from hitch installation work to getting the right trailer for moving our piano a breeze! Will definitely come back to this location for other moving needs!

Poor service right off the back, excuse me sir I cant have you parking there . In an establishment where are you are trying to gain someones business, total fail . When someone looks like they hate their job, they shouldnt be there, shes Just driving away bussiness in stead of hauling it in .

Had a very painless trailer return, after a short wait. the gentleman even offered to remove and stow my hitch in the trunk, service exceeded my expectations!

The staff was horrible! I was asking one of the staff members a question if I could use the phone there to call a cab as my phone had died on my way over there to drop off the truck. As I was talking literally in the middle of my sentence he walked away. Literally turned his back to me and said as he was walking ask the manager before I could even finish asking my question. The truck had less than a quarter tank of gas when I picked it up, and the cigarette outlet didnt work when I plugged my phone charger in it.
