Group of 8 for dinner. Excellent wine selection. Ambiance was great. Good for groups and cozy for dates. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was okay though. Had the lasagna and it was fine. I think the quality ingredients had to do with it. Will probably return and try something else.

Not worth buying I had to leave the rest behind...also lack in cheese and pasta was way to thin not my cup of tea! But the Salmon hands down the best!

You know you landed in the right place when your server has a thick Italian accent and as you made your way through the restaurant all you could smell was the aroma of garlic. This place was phenomenal. Hats off the chef. I made it here for the last week of their summer specials. If you haven’t gone yet try to make it in before it’s over. Service was great and outdoor seating was shaded. The food is a 10/10. I’ll let you decide for yourself but you won’t be disappointed.

I am sad to say this but we did not have a good meal here despite having such high hopes. We ordered the Burrata e Pesche which was really burrata on a couple of unripe peaches and arugula (there was no red onion agrodolce) While you can’t really go wrong with burrata… Cori didn’t really do anything to to this dish to make it special and I could probably do much more for half the $16 pricetag at home. We also ordered the Insalata Romana which was maybe 5 pieces of lettuce with a couple croutons. Now I am all for keeping things simple but for $11 I would hope for more… finally we had the Pappardelle ai Funghi (not pictured) which was cold and very dry! While we hoped for a steaming bowl of pasta we had bowl of cold, flavorless noodles with some chewy mushrooms in it. The only logical reason for such a disappointing experience is we were here during Restaurant Week so perhaps the kitchen was overworked. Note… we did not order off the Restaurant Week menu for our dinner. While I hate giving places a low rating when I feel they could do better I feel obliged to offer my feedback and hope they do better in the future.

I waited to do this review after I calmed down, because I wanted to be more objective and fair with my assessment about the lovely Cori Pastificio Trattoria. That being said: it was was an overpriced, low-quality, terrible experience. The service:The two employees that I talked to were somewhat rude and dismissive, which doesnt help but I would have been okay with that if the food was good. The food:Everything was far overpriced for the quality I received. The best things here were the side of bread and the vegetables (this is not a compliment), and the lasagna was the worst Ive ever had. This selection of 3 things costs over $40 and I could have had a better experience with lasagna from Costco. Im not saying that as an insult, Im saying that as a fact. The desert was okay, but not worth the money either. This restaurant was an incredible disappointment overall.

Customer service is great. We had Fettucine Al Sugo Di Salsiccia, Brasato Di Manzo and Tiramisu in Coppa. We are just not used to fettucine not being al dente, and the flavor of fennel and orange zest is very overpowering. As for the Brasato Di Manzo which is a braised beef short rib just came too soft, the wine reduction rescued it from getting dry. The risotto was cooked right just heavy handed on the spices. The highlight of our dinner is the Tiramisu, guess going traditional is still better.

Very good Italian food, actually authentic. One of the few places in town thats not all pizza. I was surprised to see they had a separate vegan menu! The vegan Melanzane Parmigiana was delicious. They have vegan ice cream on their dessert menu as well, but I didnt try any. Overall its a great place to bring family and sit outside and have a nice chat with the Italian staff.

When youre told the wait for a table is 30min and there are clean open tables within sight. I would rate 0 stars if I could.I gave my name to the hostess but had to remind her to take my phone information for when a table became available when she said that I would get a call.Never even got a call or text back. We arrived at 8:15pm well before their closing time and just wanted dessert. Maybe I didnt have the desired look to patron the restaurant according to the staff but it was pretty insulting.I guess its was their more polite way of refusing service. Look elsewhere, depending on whoever is at the host station, some peoples money spends better than others.

Incredible vegan menu with deliciously unique crafted dishes that don’t feel like substitutes or afterthoughts like many other restaurants. (Ask the host for the dedicated vegan menu)I had the Bigoli Al ragout di funghi (thick spaghetti with mushrooms and Vg cheese), the pasta was so well-cooked and seasoned with a variety of mushrooms, fresh herbs, vegan cheese and just the right amount of salt. It was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time. Our server was so sweet, had great wine recommendations and was welcoming. It was a great experience from seating to wine. Check this spot out select for especially if you are vegan or have vegan friends you want to impress!

Amazing food! My partner ordered the vegan mushroom dish, and I ordered the eggplant parm. Both were fantastic. The mushroom dish was so good it didn’t even taste vegan. The eggplant parm was great— most other places the breading is soggy, not the case here. Also the Verdure Arrostite is probably one of the best veggie appetizers I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and the cocktails were immaculate! Sadly I cannot comment on any dessert options because we are too much food lol. I would recommend this place to everyone. Great job Cori team! Hopefully I’ll see you the next time I visit SD.

This place is wonderful! The food is extremely delicious and the service is super friendly. If you get a chance to add summer truffles - fits especially well with the cacio e pepe - you wont regret it. The lamb shank is buttery soft (special this week). The acclaimed chef is Sicilian and you can taste all the love for the Sicilian cuisine in those beautiful dishes. His family story is embedded in the restaurant (gorgeous hand drawn street maps from his home town on the wall) which makes the experience very personal.

Fantastic Italian food that I truly enjoyed. I had an anchovy salad and butternut squash ravioli with duck sausage. The ravioli was in a triangular shape and definitely tasted freshly made and cooked in brown butter. And I generally like anchovies with that tangy taste on top of the salad greens. Love it. My husband had the fettuccine with pork sausage. He raved over them all night. My overall review rating is closer to 4.5 stars though, because food was good quality and tasty. I was just slightly disappointed with the slower service. Not enough staff members to cover all the tables. Other than that, I was pleased with my dinner.

After a couple stellar recommendations, we told friends we wanted to try. They came over, we ordered family style for the 4 of us. 2apps, three entrees. I live in South Park, I’m in the rest biz and a foodie. For the price, very disappointed. $160 with tax and we tipped 15% for delivery-which was 30 minutes early-that’s not a complaint.Fried calamari-the smelt ruined the dish. Arancini balls mixed feelings, the gnocchi was very good. The salmon piccata was nice. The brasato was extremely disappointing- way more fat than meat. I was so excited but this wasn’t what I expected at all.

We went here when restaurants opened back up in SD. They were good at observing social distancing rules and had other good safety measures like patio dining. The dinner was in celebration of a birthday that went too quietly. We ordered tons of food... Burrata, brushetta, Lasagna, Mezze maniche seafood pasta to name a few. The food was delicious for a reasonable price and good portion. The service was excellent... While most of the table were occupied, it was empty compared to pre-COVD19 since they removed tons of tables to distance the tables. Made me think... Weve got to do our share to continue supporting these fabulous restaurants. Support by picking-up, or having deliveries! Will definitely be back once covid19 is gone!!

Cori Pastifico Trattoria is wonderful! Situated in a walking area of North Park, the restaurant has the feel of a neighborhood, inviting, cozy place, with chef Accursio Lota welcoming customers and checking in at their tables. At first glance, the menu proposes familiar dishes (lasagna, ravioli, etc.) but Lota and his team take such obvious care in celebrating the ingredients they use that it truly feels like I was re-discovering ravioli (mmmh! the sage) or gnocchi (the chili really brought the dish together). The crudo in the antipasti offerings is a delight and I highly recommend the frittelle cacio e pepe. Judging by the reaction of my friend (who is from Milan), the frittelle managed to encapsulate warm memories of childhood. Comfort food brought to a brand new level and made by wonderful people!
